I recently got my Bachelor's Degree in Writing and English in Grand Rapids, MI. The economy out there is terrible, so I took a train to Seattle, WA. I'm currently staying with a friend in Bellevue.

Pretty soon here, I'm going to have no money. My friend wants rent money by June 1st - $400. I can't afford to eat and pay him rent at the same time.

In 2009, I was made homeless by Hurricane Ida in Virginia. That same year, I became disabled with COPD, sciatica and fibromyalgia. It has been a long, slow process of recovery,pain, poverty,and the accompanying humiliation. I have had to give up my car, my cottage, and my job.

However, thanks to the efforts of very dear friends and some self-made luck I finally have a stable living situation, and the strength to embark on a new career as a writer and self-publisher of Spiritual and New Age materials.
Writing is where I find my greatest joy, (followed closely by my painting) and my experiences have given me rewards of perspective that makes the challenges I still contend with somehow worth it. I'm looking to help others find the inner strength and hope that I found through my own crisis.

My computer, however, is almost 8 years old and between the "pages not responsive" and "Chrome has crashed", system crashes and stalls, etc it routinely takes me up to 3 hours to upload anything to the site. I have very limited energy, and this can take up an entire day.
The the age of the machine means that it is limited in terms of upgrades and networking.
I've learned and done all I can to keep it running this long, but now I need a new one if I am going to be able to do the kind of heavy-duty publishing and posting to make it in this field and become self-sufficient.
I am looking for $5,000+ to cover the following costs:

*website hosting for a year

*Non-profit status registration

Im in need of some help here's my story so far, I started my business in aug 2010 and I'm trying to invest more money into it I have been going for over a year with myself and my brother as business partners and have not taking a wage since it started. It's been very hard for us we sold both our cars he had a golf v6 4 motion and I had my supra to start it up also we had 2 thousand each savings from previous employment.
We are working hard in making our business bigger we are trying to advertise in our local paper and getting more machines but it's very expensive,we are handing out flyers every day but it's not doing to good as most people don't even look at them just bin them "like I do" thinking its just junk mail.
We are putting this on our facebooks and twitter to try and raise some money to get the business off the ground and give it the best chance for surviving. I have the ad from our local news paper where our work is and the business writer has put in a story on how we are trying to help the elderly on what we do. He is a very nice man mr kelly.

Just a little about the business, there was a community laundry which was Owned and run by the south Tyne side council and it shut in just under 2 years ago there was over 1000 customers on their books and were either very old,disabled or had children that were disabled. And have been left with no service since it closed that where we stepped in as my brother used to be a driver for them. The people the community laundry employed were people with learning difficulties and have since found no work we have made it our target to keep in touch with them as we have been doing for a year now and to give them back their jobs. I am 28 years old student currently studying LLB Law. I never knew that there is such thing as a begging site. I am in a very critical situation right now. When I was 10 years old someone tried to rape me. Thus, every since then I suffered from anxiety and depression and I have been taking anti depression tablets. My depression has deteriorated as a result of not being able to pay my tuition fee!Whoever is willing to help me and change my life can ask for any medical prove or whatever they wish as an evidence that this beg is genuine and true. Please, please, please any help would mean so much to me. I want to be as the rest of my sisters and brothers. People in my family neglect and bully me and tell me that I am unable to do anything!!! Hi, I am a talented Irish writer who is looking for some financial aid. I lost my job a year ago and have spent that time concentrating on my writing. Having received several positive responses from agents and publishers it has encouraged me to continue and follow this as a career.

Please consider helping a writer with a vision exam and glasses. It will cost about $400 for both. It is getting hard to focus on the computer screen and even to read street signs when driving,which is just dangerous. Hello, I dont know if this works and people actually donate or not but im willing to try. I am a 34 year old single female who is alcohol dependant and suffering from depression and dissociation. I contemplate suicide daily as im in so much poverty and cant afford the help I need to get well. I long for the help of a pyschiatrist to help me but havent the money to pay for it. I am constantly struggling to pay for food and electric and am behind on my rent. I have to live on £60.00 a week and find it unbearable. would love some money so I could have some joy back in my life and be able to pay for the help I need. I doubt anyone will donate but just expressing my sadness helps. I feel completely lost like im living in a bad dream that I cannot wake up from. Im haunted nightly by horrific sexual abuse dreams and feel totally alone in this world. This is an urgent cry for help. My family recently moved into a new home on the 31st. When trying to get the electricity transferred to the new house we were informed that our equal payment plan had been exceeded and we needed to pay a $250 deposit plus pay off our balance of ~$475. The first months rent and deposit has tapped us out and it is impossible to get these things turned on. My husband recently got laid off and is on unemployment while looking for a job; I am a freelance writer and am having a hard time finding enough jobs to save enough to get power and water on plus pay this months rent and the other half of the deposit. Our three children are staying with relatives until we can get our house into working order and we really want them back at home with us. If anybody could help I could write anything you might need written or even pay you back over the course of time. I really need some help getting this together; once we can get these bills taken care of we will be back on track. Thank you so much for your time and consideration.

My own personal computer has died, and that is a problem as I run a small business (publishing/production company) and I'm a writer. These are about the only things I get any income from. I have a part time job but it is not cutting it at all.

I was just starting a career as a professional writer, until my sister shot down my career... out of plain old jealousy. Never thought I'd experience something like that from family. Using fictional back-talk and torpedoes, my sister set things up so that the family friends who were helping me ended up disliking me. She even once told me she preferred seeing me down and out! Soon after being thrown under the proverbial bus, I was no longer offered writing work, regardless of the fact that I had already proven my talent. Unemployed, I went $35K into debt and had to sell my possessions to move to another city. Four years later, I'm still clawing my way out of the hole with a low-paying crap job, and still trying to cling to a dream of writing for a living again. But I'm not getting any younger, the job will end soon, and the debt is ever present. I need my life to mean something. I want to matter. I wish to get back to where I was just starting out, free of this financial burden. I would be on square one again, of course, thanks to my sister, but at least I will be beyond her influence. Hopefully, and with a little luck, I can carve out a meaningful life. Please help me get there. Please help me recover my dream.

I am an avid reader and writer since I was a teenager. While I write and read on a variety of topics, my favorite genre is fantasy.

To keep things short and simple, I finally got my first novel-which is geared towards teenagers and young adults-published and it is for sale through the kindle store. I decided after several years of rejection through taditional publishers, to go the kindle (and other handheld device) route. Doing it this way gives the average lover of fantasy the opportunity of reading my book.

While I will not get rich with this book-I am offering this at the lowest cost possible-I want to become recognized as an author. I know it will not happen over night. However, I believe that if I can sell at least 1,000 copies of my book-which is highly probable with the amount of individuals who own a kindle or have a kindle app on their phones-I will be heading in the right direction.

So please help me reach my goal of selling 1,000 copies.

By the way I am in the middle of editing a second fantasy novel, which I also plan to distribute to Kindle.
