I am trying my hardest to take care of my kids and my kids brother. I am a 33 year old single mother who just started a job selling Street Roots witch is a local paper here in Portland, OR. They help by providing a voice for those who would not have a chance to do so and an income to help preventing homelessness. I am fighting hard to provide for my family the only way I know how to. I am asking for a donation to help us purchase some fans to help keep us cooler this summer. I have already received sun burn on both arms.

I need help, I cannot afford the medication I need. I work full time but my insuranse won't cover it. I live pay check to pay check. I won't die without it, I will just suffer. I do some charity work myself, but now I need the help. I'm a recovering alcoholic all I have is my shity apartment and my 2 cats, witch I'am desperately trying to keep. I need 158.00 for a 3 month supply of meds. I just can't do it. Thanks 4 looking even if you don't or can't help its more than most ppl do.

let me begin by saying my husband had #3...major strokes all at once as a result he is still paraylezed
on his right side. and it affected his speech.
He has always had high bloodpresure and sometimes we could not afford his meds witch ultimately led to the strokes.
that being said i have been suffering hearing loss and dont have ear drums n in need of surgery...as well as dental...probs.
i cant work because i need to take care of him hence i have no income he recievs ssd n it barely covers our bills.
i was getting info on begging on the corner and found this site i pray theres help somewhere and im asking very humbly n sincerly from the bottom of my heart please can u help?? tysvm.

I'm a college student from Portugal seeking help so I can stay in college. For the past two years, despite working, having my parents do two jobs and having student loans a lot of debt has kept rising. I currently have overdue bills, tuition and rent. Despite trying hard to try and save as much as I can cutting back on some things I still reached a point of no return. In the next two or three months the debt will be too high and going for too long and I will have to cancel my college registration and start paying the student loans, witch in my current situation and with the debt that I have I won't be able too. I do not need a lot of money to get things going. With 3000$-3500$ I would be able to pay my overdue bills and tuition, pay the rent and ease the pressure my parents are having to help me. With this amount the 450$ I earn each month would be enough to pay for the monthly bills, rent and food. And I would be able to save up until next year's tuition.
I would really appreciate any help.

I am a type 1 diabetic and I'm only 25 its hard on me right now. I do work two jobs but thats only enough money for my medications and test strips and doctor visits. I hav tried applying for medical cards and etc. but I'm always denied and its very discuraging to me. but right now my problem is my teeth they are getting really bad and I need to get them fixed, all I know is that they said it would be about $200 for each tooth to get pulled witch i need 4 pulled and after that I need the rest filled and fixed witch is like another $1,000 wow thats alot..not done yet then when thats done I'll need implants or fake teeth, partial dentures, what ever they call them because the teeth they will pull are my mollers (i cant spell) i wont hav any mollers to chew with :(.dont know what else to do, I'v never asked for help befor, someone told me about asking for help online so here I am. I'm just hoping sombody willing to help reads this PLEASE PLEASE help me! I'm scared and I dont know what else to do!!!

I live in a horrible apartment for 900 dollars a month, I was okay until I lost my job three months ago.. I lost my wife when a man fell asleep at the wheel and crossed the center line. He lived my wife did not. She was the only one working as i'm out of work, with curvical nurve damage to my right side .c-3 thru c-7 . i have very limited use of right hand and arm .My Insurence from my last job has long sence expired .She wasn't employed long enough to have health and death insurance. We have 2 children and now because i'm disabled and she passed away, we have no insurance for the kids or funeral expenses, let alone for the kids.Creamation for my wife,no funeral or cemmetary lot, will run about $1900.a casket and lot is about $8000. the guy who killed my wife had no insurance or any thing of value for the courts to attach.no car any more. My rent is$1075 per month and no utlities.I only get $1199 per month from disability from my last job.Witch only lasts 1 more month then bennefits stop. .My heating bill is up to $762 so far and it's only january.Iwas just diagnosed with stage 3 coln cancer 3 1/2 weeks ago.How will i pay for radiation treatments. I have no living relatives to move in with or get help from,they are deceased for years. My children are 8 and 11 yrs old. What do I tell them? Please help me any way you can.I have applied for federal help but can take up to a year to hear from them.we have no food kitchens here as well.This isn't mycomputer as swell. i'm at the library. they are free to use.Please help me and my kids. thank you for your help.

Hello, my name is Kenneth and I am hear because I have no where alse to go or anyone to turn to. I was once a proud man who had it all. I had a loving wife and 4 wonderful children, I had my dream home and owned 2 cars, I even had a nest egg for my wife and I to retire on.
Then on January 12, 2011 a drunk driver took that all away from me in a matter of seconds. See my wife was on her way home after shopping in town with the 4 kids, while driving through an intersection a drunk driver ran the red light hitting the van dead center on the driver side witch sent her into the oppeset lane and then she was hit yet again head on by another truck. My wife and 13 year old son where killed apon impact and the three girls in the back where in bad shape according to police reports all 3 girls had to be air lifted to the trama center. It has been close to a year now and everything that i had is now gone, I sold my house to pay off the medical bills that the insurance company did not cover (total coast $ 586,423.71) Then I sold the second car to pay for the funeral coast and to get head stones for my wife and son (total coast $ 12,000.00) for that. My nest egg was all I had left but I could see that it was not going to last long with all the special needs that my 3 girls now needed since the accident. I have tryed to strech it as far as I can but their is nothing left, and now my worst fears are about to come true and that my girls who have suffered so much this past year and who has lost so much where about to suffer once again.

So they are the reason I am hear asking everyone, or anyone PLEASE help so they don't have to suffer PLEASE I don't know what alse to do except pray and hope that their are kind souls who are will to help with what ever you can.

On may 2nd 2008 my son who is now 12yrs old was struck by a car while he was getting off the school bus he almost died the driver of the car received a ticket for 118.00 and was ordered to pay 2800.00 restitution witch dose not cover nearly the amount that we have put out. he now suffers from very bad headaches, short term memory loss,and balance problems.now we have many medical bills we are now almost living under the poverty line and now have to find a new place to live and not even enough funds to be able to save

I am a 40 year old with two children that lost her job and have been barley feeding my children with my unemployment witch runs out next week. I am on the verge of loseing my home cause i haven"nt been able to pay my taxes. I am in real trouble! And with christmas right around the corner I am just at my end I am so deprest because i cannot find work and if I do it not enough to help catch anything up. I am a 25year old single mom, struggling to make ends meet. I have a custody order witch does not allow relocation out of state, so I am here alone. My family all lives in other states. My parents would love to help me however they r on fixed income disability so they r not to hot themselves. I work part-time as housekeeper, about eight hours a week. Not enough I donot recieve child support and am really close to eviction notice I ride a bike to and from work and continually looking for more work. I am sitting at home alone on thanksgiving dat. I am not able to even enjoy the holiday with family due to income. My 4yr old lil girl is with her dad today and this is my first time ever to spend a holiday alone. It is more painful due to my landlord has already been knocking wanting rent and I have no money. I haven't got to work all week. So any donations .... Would mean the worlds to me. I am the mom to 4 great kids I have been providing a property clean up business for 12 years. the last 2 1/2 years I have been struggling severely. My truck I have been using for the past 10 years is almost 20 years old. It keeps breaking down. I don't have the money to fix it. I have missed several jobs and been late on others because my truck was broke down. I try to keep it in good repair, but I have have to choose between fixing the truck or paying my mortgage witch has run 3 to 4 weeks behind for the last 2 years. I have never had to beg for any thing. I have always worked hard for every thing I have, however my property taxes ane about to be due, my truck in very bad shape causing it to use a lot more gas than normal, I'm currently 2 weeks behind on my mortgage. I haven't even bought a new pair of jeans for my self in 2 years. I am watching my kids grow up without the things I wanted to provide for them. while they have food and basic clothing and all the love any kid could want. I could run my business much more efficiently and provide for my kids the way they deserve, If I could purchase a good work truck. While this was not the type of work I intended to go into. After my husband left us in the middle of the night and did not call or give a reason why. I had no choice but to continue this business. I had work hard trying to build it and I couldn't make more then minimum wage doing anything else so I've just kept working. I am humiliated to have to beg but I feel there is no other way. I dont know where to start my name is harry and i lived in florida form 1989 until 2005 i met my wife there and we have 4 kids 3 of them are till home 16,13,8 years old they were poiled for the longest time but after rebuilding from hurracanes three time we moved to missouri for 3 years and thats were the story starts to turn had to go from making 15 dollar an hour to makeing 7.50 an hour but i did it to keep the family going was a volentire fire fighter and a first responer and liked helping people but on 11-28-2006 i left for work and found a ice patch on the road that slid my truck into a ditch witch in turn broke my back and gave me a 8 day stay in the hospital and almost killed me but thank the lord im still here cant work but have got on ssi disablity after 2and half years and selling everything we had now we moved to michigan to be close to family and i bought a trailer on 10 acres for my family to run around on and have fun it was a land contract witch wa not to bad but when thing look good they can go bad fast no i found out that i can not get a loan to refinace it and will have to leave if i cant getit refinaned by september 2011 i have paid my mortage on time sence i bought it and now there is no way to get a bank to help or any other gov help out there so if anyone can help in any way i would be very greatful and want to ay thank you for you time

Hello My family of 4 is about to be homeless I have a wife and two young children and we are being evicted from our home we have until 1-jan-11 to be out of our house. The problem is we have no were to go and no money saved I lost my job two months ago due to a medical issue witch I just had surgary for and hope to find a job in a few weeks. We really need that Christmass Miracle. We have found plenty of new homes to move to in our price range of we could afford with unemployment till I start work but just no time to save for the security deposit. So I am begging for help I do not want to see my kids homeless I am a hard worker and ten year military Vet. I just need help right now.

Im a single mother going to college, but i have a 23,000 debt witch i cannot pay. ive been deny jobs because of my credit, but how im I suppost to pay if i dont have a job.I dont understand!!Rigth now i cannot afford to move to a decent apartment because my credit is so bad and my social security income my daugther and i received wont alowed me to make a payment plan.if i pay my debt i will be able to start over. im asking someone that will help me so i can pick up my child future and mine.

Hard times are a fact of life but it seems that during the past year I have gotten more than my fair share.
To begin with, my wife of 11 years told me that she wanted a divorce. I knew that we had our problems but guess I always that we would be able to work it out. To make a long story short, she went home to her parents and left me with a mountain of credit card debt. Most of witch I wasn't even aware of. Not to mention, the house, land, and car payments. Although it was a heavy blow when she left I thought that as long as I was able to work I would be able to get out of debt and move on with my life.
That hope soon faded when after 20 years with the same company I was laid off. I get unemployment but that is roughly half of what I was making when working full time and these bills are just eating it up faster than I get it. I am looking for work and I do get temporary work now and then but nothing permanent yet.
I am Drowning in debt and need any help that I can get.
I would be very grateful to anyone who could help me get back on the road to recovery.

I live in Kensington, MD and am looking for an inexpensive single-family home to rent with option to buy. I am interested in a three-bedroom with basement and a yard. I could even be interested in moving in a home where the owners were long-term traveling. I have a daughter who is 22 y.o. We are currently living in the basement of my girlfriend's house but I was not aware until I moved there how crazy she was and we need to get out of there. After I first moved in, she informed me that everything in the house was community property. She has an immigrant man living in the basement with us who is not paying rent (I am). She just sprang him on us without telling us. I come home and my personal belongings are moved. He has been causing me trouble ever since he arrived. I caught him peeking in my daughter's room. He tried to sleep with me in my bedroom and I had to kick his butt and he has put his hands on me. He does not have a green card; I told the police but they will not do anything. He has peed on the neighbors lawn when he was drunk, etc. So if anyone can offer some solutions I sure would appreciate it. He's got the message and I have to act like a witch but we still need to get out of there as I am very angry at my "former" friend. She obviously does not give a darn. I think she is attracted to losers. Her man does not work and neither does his grown son. Bottom line, me and my girlfriend are supporting everyone else in the house who is not working.
