I have 4 children, two in school, my oldest son is autistic, and a set of twins. I want to Go to school for phlebotomy. I am basically raising money to go take this phlebotomy class hopefully by the fall. All I want is to do better for my family, and city colleges dont pay for certificate classes so fafsa is out for me. I have been looking for, interviewing, and applying for jobs since I got laid off in 2010, yet, to no avail have I gotten lucky. Alot of places want you to have a degree now a days and I figure if I start off small then I can acheive more for myself and my family. All I want is to do better for my family so they wont have to go through the same thing I have. I hate being on welfare and sometimes it feels like I am stuck in one place but if given the chance I know I can succeed. The class is $1700 plus books and clinical wear. any little bit helps and is appreciated.

I am 22 years old and have a 7 month old daughter and am working part time at Walmart. I get on average $600. a month in salary. I have had to have extensive dental work done which has cost over $4,000. I had to put this amount on a CareCredit card and don't make enough to even make the minimum payment due on my dental bill by the time I pay all my other bills, gas for the truck and diapers and stuff for my child. I am ineligible for welfare benefits, I do receive food stamps which helps buy my baby formula and food.

I am just trying to get this bill paid off. I work hard and love my job and have a dream of being a singer. I love to sing. I love my baby girl. This past year has been very hard because I've had to move to another town and start from scratch with my baby. I do not own a vehicle but am currently able to drive my grandparents truck. I want to be independent and take care of my child and my bills. That is my goal to be debt free. If you can find it in your heart to help me out even a little bit I would be most grateful

My husband suffered a sudden job loss last year while I was on the last end of my maternity leave and we were forced to move in with his mother who lives in the country and is on welfare. Unfortunately that left us without reliable transportation, leaving us unable to find work and gave great difficulty in getting in town to get even the simplest necessities. In order to get back on our feet we need some help so that we can get an apartment in town, catch up on bills, and find employment. Any help at all would be appreciated.

We seriously need some help, our electricity will be turned off May 2nd, our rent is due May first and the late fees are $25 per day after the first with no max. Our house is total electric so no heat, air, refrigeration, hot water, or ability to cook once the electric is off. Our credit isn't good enough for anything and the only option is payday loans. We keep having garage sales, however it only provides enough money to get staples (bread, milk, butter, a little gas to get back and forth to work). Like many others I have a job, but it keeps us just over broke. Not enough to deal with a crisis. In one week we learned my mother and father were trying to live off $35 a week. My mother eats a bowl of cereal in the morning and a $1 banquet meal for dinner. She takes care of my ailing father 24/7 who has Alzheimer's. So we decided to make a 10 hour ride one way to go see what we could do to help. We gave them what little extra money we had to fill a deep freezer and pay off a loan with crushing interest! While away we learned that my wife's stepmother is dying from cancer. She has stage 4 lung cancer and isn't expected to make it past the end of the year. We need extra funds for my wife to be able to make the 1800 mile trek to her hometown in NY so she can have the opportunity to say her last goodbyes. To top it all off we purchased a car last year through a company known as JD Byrider, a buy here pay here bad credit dealer with an extra perk, for all the extra money you spend on their vehicles they offer a warranty during the term of the loan. Our JDB car blew a head gasket, this should be covered under terms of the warranty. We had the car towed to the dealer for them to make the necessary repairs. The shop said there was nothing wrong with the car, it just needed an oil change, and it was running fine. I promise you a car that won't do over 60 mph floored on a straight stretch of highway ISN'T fine. So we were forced to trade it in, which cost us an extra $5000, making us negative in our bank. Along with all of this is the need to take care of our three children at home, and constantly having to buy diapers for our grand daughter because her parents can't find work and welfare doesn't give enough cash assistance to keep diapers all month long. We are selling everything we can afford to in order to get out of our current situation, but it won't be enough. Right now we need $725 to make rent and $206 for the electric bill. I can spread other bills out over the course of the month, but these two are critical. We have enough food and just enough money to cover gas for the next two weeks. I am willing to provide services for any donation made. I have very good editing skills, and have helped students go from a D paper to a B+/A- paper without changing the content, merely correcting spelling, punctuation and structure. Any help provided will be greatly appreciated.

Background:

I was born in Argentina, but have lived in Texas since I was 5. I had no say in it; my parents decided that’s what was best for me since Buenos Aires was so crime-ridden. I graduated high school like normal kids, went to a community college right afterwards, and worked part time to cover its costs. I got an Associate’s in Science (Nursing) and then dropped out since I couldn't afford to attend a university nor decide on a major. My GPA was a 3.4 at the time.

I'm now 25, working full time (Geek Squad, can’t do much with an associate’s), studying electrical engineering, married to my high school sweetheart, and have my goals set! I just have one thing holding me back...MONEY. Since I backtracked when I changed majors, I had a few sophomore classes to take. I'm finishing them at the same community college, and I'm registered for the Fall semester at the University of Texas at Dallas (Junior level courses). I have gotten nothing but As since I've been back!



Why I Need Your Help:

Now, you may be wondering, why can't I use FAFSA? Well, I recently obtained my permanent residence. That was a big roadblock growing up. One of the agreements I had with our nation was that I would not use federal funds (welfare, food stamps, grants, FAFSA, etc) for the next 10 years. I work full time and attend as many classes as I can per semester; I have no time for lollygagging.

Sallie Mae can only loan me so much, and banks nowadays make it very difficult to borrow from for school. All the scholarships I’ve looked for require either citizenship or full time enrollment, neither of which I am. (Can’t enroll full time because I need to work full-time to make ends meet) My father is a construction worker and I don’t know my mom, she left us when I was 7. I just sold my laptop on eBay and made myself a cheap one from recycled parts. I've tried getting internships, but I'm not deep enough into my career to be eligible yet. Nearby family members don’t have any spare cash, and don’t make enough to co-sign a loan for me….So I’m here, hoping some kind strangers can help me out.

I am a hard working student, good Samaritan, bilingual, a jokester, drug-free, do calculus in my head, pay taxes, 740 credit score, and drive a broken down Pontiac. My only goal right now is to finish school with flying colors as soon as possible; just need this financial roadblock to meet a wrecking ball.

I quit my job to move in and take care of my parents, one who has COPD and the other has Alzheimers. I also have 2 small boys and my welfare runs out next month. I cannot have my parents put in a state nursing home and feel it is my duty as their daughter to take care of them through the end of their life. We are about to lose everything if we don't get some sort of assistance. Thank you so much.

My family and I need a vehicle so I may go to work. We have one, but it keeps breaking down and my boyfriend drives it to work
(when he can) we are behind on every bill we have, including our house payment (and by house I mean mobile home that's 1 bedroom too small for us) My boyfriend (he would be my fiancee if we didn't already have to sell my ring to keep our place to live) works full time and works very hard, but it's not enough. He needs my help, and in addition to not having anoter vehicle we also cannot afford a baby sitter. We don't even have the food to get through this week until he gets paid,and we won't have the money for it then. We applied for welfare and they will begin helping us with food next month, which doesn't really help us now. We are living paycheck to paycheck and barely getting by. I know this story seems pretty standard, and it is.. which is sad. However, I don't know what else to do. I am currently a full time student so I am looking to better our life and we will eventually get there, it is the wait that is hurting us. I'll try to keep this short - I've never begged for money before, but I'm at the end of my rope and don't know what else to do. I have no family or support system around me, and no one I can rely on. As a young mother I'm working hard to go to school and work part-time on minimum wage as well as raise my 3 year old daughter. I'm behind on my rent and recently got kicked off welfare for being on it for too long. I can't afford to buy food and live day to day. I'm tired of being stressed out about finances and just want the best for my daughter. I am a 26 year old mother of 2 adorable children. My husband was killed by a drunk driver a few months ago, and we can no longer make ends meet. I am constantly hounded by collection calls, and have had to make some tough sacrifices. My husband had no life insurance, and was preparing to enlist in the military. He never got the chance to serve his country, or see his children grow up. I have job skills, but cannot afford daycare anymore. I don't qualify for any assistance programs, and I don't want to be a welfare mom in the first place. We have exhausted all options as far as borrowing from friends and family, and I don't know where else to turn.

I am in a homeless shelter.How I got there was through this bureaucracy in NewYorkCity.I really need to Get out of there BEFORE April 15th!I not only have no one to help me get the initial rent money I need,also it is due to their corruption that I am unable to keep a steady job.This shelter system forces you to apply for welfare.I do not even need it.It also has not come through.I applied since January.Please someone,just help me raise 500.00 so I could get a room and get out of this trap.I am crying while I write this,that's how much of an effect it has on me.Any amount sent is greatly appreciated.Yes,no matter what, the world still has people left in it who care.Thank you and God Bless.

I really don't know what brought me to this point, I feel like I've done everything I could. People say I'm just being negative. I am about one week from being on the street. I do not have a drug habit, I do not have a problem with saving money or working hard for it. I've never asked anyone for anything I didn't truly need. Never been on welfare.
I was working and got laid off for the fifth time. Then my car broke down and its going to cost almost what it's worth to fix. There is no public transportation whatsoever where I live and both of my parents are deceased. I have no brothers or sisters. The rest of my family and friends are too busy to care. I have been completely on my own since 18. My girlfriend also left me. I have a 5 year old son and I pay child support. I want him to have a stable home and be able to visit his father again. Well. Truth be told, I'm desperate, hence the begging. I barely make the rent, and every bill I've had the last year has gone do creditors. I'm not able to pay child support, so whatever little welfare money I get is taken to pay off state debts. I'm unemployed and can't find the energy or the courage to get back into the job market. The reason for all this is crippling anxiety. I haven't bought clothes in two years, and pretty much everything I have is falling apart. I'm afraid I'll lose my apartment, there's just not anything to fall back on. So, I'm begging. Instead of having to face people and ask for help, I'm asking you. Please, if you can spare anything, you'll help me pay some bills, help me get back on my feet and hopefully, some day, be able to go to an interview in whole clothes.

This is under the Medical Bills Category but the bills are not for me but for the animals that I rescue.

I've been rescuing animals that have been abused,neglected or thrown out for a number of years now. I'm beginning to feel the pinch financially, mainly with the mounting Veterinarian bills.

I can't imagine not being able to help these beautiful creatures but unfortunetly money plays a big part in the rescuing of animals.

If there are some generous people out there that care about the welfare of animals please help my cause in order for me to continue rescuing animals. I would so greatly appreciate it.

I need to rasie some money for my medical bills. I am 40 years old and a single mother of 3 children. I have had my share of medical problems from Stroke to depression but last year was the icing on the cake. I had went to my cousins' house and was helping him with arrangements for his wifes funeral (breast cancer) when I couldn't sleep. And when I say I couldn't sleep it was 4 days before I could fall asleep. I thought that it was just stress and noticed my shorts falling off. So I weighted myself and was in shock. Before the trip I weighted 248lbs but the scale said 219lbs. I couldn't figure what was going on because I had been eating more than ever. So I left my cousin and came home and went to my doctor. He wanted to run some test, he felt a lump in my throat. The Ultrasound showed some nodules and needed to have a biopsy. During the biopsy the doctor mentioned the spots to be calcified which meant noting to worry about. I was so happy. Then the next day my doctor called me at home and said we need to talk. I told him I know it's nothing since it was calcified and he said no that it is cancer. That a rare number of people will have this type of cancer. So I am unlucky. How can I be that 1 person in a million. Why couldn't I have hit the lottery. I am unable to work due to the dizzyspells and the fainting I have from this. I also have the shakes so bad that I look as if I will spill everything I touch. I had welfare insurance which covers the treatments but I am required to work for the system to keep the insurance and my doctor and my body will not allow this. I have worked all my life in the medical field until I became ill. I have applied for SSD and had to appeal the out come because this type of cancer is not covered by there means. So I am now stuck. I need surgury but have no means to pay. My doctor is willing to allow me to make payments while I get treatment but still need to upfront a part of the cost before they can do anything. So please help me.

Single Mom with one child, I do have a job but my child gets really depressed when I take extra hours and do not see them enough. I cannot get ahead and am now in the horrible payday loan cycle just to put food on the table. I would like to get out of that cycle so I can start paying off my real debt but that is difficult at this time. I have gone to social services but they wont help me with emergency money because I make just over the low income line. This is extremely frustrating but I refuse to quit my job to go on welfare to become low income. Whatever you can help me with, I am thankful for and it would help me sleep at night. Thank you :)
