Help with leukemia bills!

Posted by MilamShane2003 on 2012-05-24 21:58:31

I am middle child of three brothers. Currently, my older brother and I are currently unemployed looking desperately to find a job again. Back in November, my mother was diagnosed with acute leukemia. A day after she was diagnosed she had a stroke and my mother has not been the same since. The stroke caused a condition called "Broca's Apasia" which affects the speech part of your brain. Basically with this condition she can understand everything spoken to her, but it's her finding those words to speak back which has been affected. No complete sentence hardly ever. Well my brother and I quit our jobs to become her caretakers at home. In to a few weeks of this we had to take her to intensive care at MD Anderson because she had developed MRSA infection (Hostpital Super-Bug), and she went into septic shock. Septic shock summed up is your organs going into failure. She was put into a sedated coma for a little over a month. She was then slowly brought out of the coma and transferred to a ICU at a Hospice/Rehabilitation Facility where the doctors estimated her recovery program to take 2-3 years. We all now how much money this will accumulate to. Her insurance is fixing to run out, and when she is put on medicaid they can take all of her assets to cover medical costs. So my brother and I had to put our house (Mom's House) up for sale so they wont take the house to cover her medical costs. If the house sells right now while my brother and I are unemployed we will be homeless. I dont know how or if websites like this really recieve donations, but it is worth a try. I am all out of options. Thanks for reading my story!

Need Money To Prevent Eviction

Posted by HelpACS on 2012-05-20 23:58:53

I really need help, I couldn't sleep tonight. I actually googled , "I am about to get evicted and I need help paying rent" and this website came up so here I am. If this site really works and there is anyone out there willing or able to help I sincerely need you now! My rent including late fee is $725 and as of today I m 21 days late and only have $80. The reason for this is that I work part time and get paid every 2 weeks. While my pay is usually enough to cover this, I did fracture my toe and sprain my ankle 2 weeks ago causing me to miss a week from work. I'm also a freelance designer so I can work from home but I have not received any new projects so no money coming in there.
I am willing to trade services/work for whatever I can get, I design logos, websites and more, you can see my portfolio at raisincanearts.com that way I will be earning instead of begging.... really need help please someone, anyone this is not a scam, I need money any amount helps as long as it brings me closer to that $725 but that is my end goal. I don't have any friends or family that can help me so this is really my last resort. If you need any graphic design in exchange for donation my email is canr.raisincanearts@yahoo.com. Thank you

Disabled Veteran Denied Disabiliy, No Income Please Help

Posted by desperate4help on 2012-04-21 05:58:17

Disabled United States Navy Veteran. I am not physically able to work, but was denied disability a couple of days ago. I do not have any income, am staying with a family member for now, I need money! Any amount would be greatly appreciated. If I don't get help soon, I will be homeless! I am appealing the disability decision, so I hope this is a temporary need for help. I am asking for help on two websites so far, this is not something I decided to do that was an easy decision. I am at my rock bottom and in desperate need of some help! I have had thoughts like I'd be better off dead, I know this is not good, and am seeing a doctor for the depression. I take a lot of prescribed meds for pain, and the VA doctors and nurses told me that I'm not even supposed to drive a car while taking the medications. So, I don't know what to do, do not have any public transport where I live.

Donate money get a website or blog to help dogs

Posted by doglady2012 on 2012-04-06 11:58:32

I will make a blog (2 or 3 articles) for you or set up a 2 or 3 page website for a donation of $5.00. I need to raise money for the dogs and to buy land and to move. We can not stay where we are at. The website will be on a free site. You can send me the information you want and color scheme. There are also free social networks where you can have your own social network. For larger websites or blog articles would require larger donations. Social network set up donations of $10.00.

Help us get back on our feet

Posted by Loulatyler on 2012-03-21 15:58:57

Hi everyone, I was made redundant last September and am the mother of fantastic 6 year old twins - times are getting tougher for us by the day but I have some great ideas for businesses that I know can work to bring my lovely families quality of life back to what it should be - I am working hard on these ideas every day and just need a cash injection to enable me to set up some simple websites that will allow me to work full time again for my wonderful family - if you could just spare a few dollars/pounds I will be returning everything I receive by donating to other worthy recipients once I am back on my feet - thanks for reading and much love to all

Drowning here....

Posted by tiredmom on 2012-03-07 20:58:23

I didnt know these type of websites existed until today. I'm not good at asking for help and to be honest, I don't really feel that great about doing this, but at this point, I don't really know what else to do. And now, my story: I am a thirty year old single mother of a nine year old little boy, who both works and goes to school full-time. Last semester I was denied financial aid due to the fact that my completion rate was not satisfactory. Taking a semester off was not going to do me any good, so I paid for my classes out of pocket. I knew it was going to be tough and thought that I would be ok. Well, I was very wrong. Life gets messy and complicated and never really works out the way we plan. My car needed work, my son needed glasses, he got pink eye and we both got strep throat. I also just started a new job and dont have insurance (I couldnt afford the $400.00/month COBRA payment from my previous employer). Everything just kind of seemed to happen at once and I fell behind in every financial aspect. In an attempt to recover from this, I reluctantly got a Payday Loan. Well..if any of you have ever done this, you know what a evil perputal cycle it becomes. I got loans to cover bills, and then got loans to cover loans..and now, I'm drowning in them! I have six at this moment all for varying amounts, my checking is negative and I am still behind on half of my bills. I dont feel like there is an end to this. I would get another job if I could, but with work, school and my son, I barely have time to sleep. I dont get child support as my sons father aquired a nasty meth addiction and ended up in prison and my family is struggling almost as badly as I am right now. I take responsibility for my bad choices and I'm not asking someone to completley bail me out. I won't even tell you how much my debt actually is. I just need a little help here..thats all. Thanks!

unemployed musician would appreciate some help

Posted by musicman83 on 2012-02-07 17:58:53

I guess to begin I should say I'm not in a life or death situation but I really could use some help.

Since I graduated from university, studying music I have worked in customer service as there were not a lot of jobs available where I live, but I was laid off from my job 12 months ago and got behind with my rent by a couple of months, which landed me in £600 worth of debt on top of the debts I had accumulated as a student.

However I found a new job after a couple of months and everything seemed to be looking like it would work out but after a month of working there I had to take 2 days off sick and my new employer decided to terminate my employment. I went back to applying for jobs and selling my stuff to pawn shops to try and make ends meet, receiving benefits but although I could eat and keep a roof over my head I couldn't pay off my outstanding rent.

Then after a few months of looking for work I was helping my mum's friend out with some heavy lifting and helping with her garden work as she lives alone and ended up with a really bad inguinal hernia which left me incapacitated until I could get surgery, I had the surgery which fixed the problem but the surgeon advised me the hernia was a very large one and they had to make a 7 inch incision in order to be able to remove it which left me bedridden for a couple of weeks after.

Then the worst thing happened, I was offered an interview for my dream job a few days after my surgery, I explained my situation and told the employer how much I wanted this job but they said they were really sorry but they needed someone immediately and could not wait.

One of my friends told me about these websites where people help out people in bad money situations. So I guess I'm hoping someone can see fit to help me because I'm not doing too well resolving my problems alone.

My plan is to try and get as much of the £600 rent I owe so I can pay my rent off and re-locate as jobs are so scarce where I live.
I spoke to my landlord and asked if I could move out to re-locate and pay them back when I get a job but they said they're sorry but I need to pay up to date before I move out, so I'm stuck here with no job prospects, I can't just leave owing them this money and run away from the debt because I feel I am a moral and generally decent person and after the understanding and patience they have shown me in putting up with this situation for a year, running out on them would be a disgraceful thing to do to them.

Thank you for reading this and if you can help me sort myself out I will be eternally grateful to you

Hard working Husband trying to pay bills after 3 jobs have halted.

Posted by Velocity2012 on 2012-01-05 14:58:38

My situation is difficult right now because I just cannot pay our mortgage and other basic bills. I work 3 jobs that are part time because it is hard finding full time employment here. These jobs include designing websites, caring for an elderly woman, and installing window coverings for many designers. Since it is slow; we are not able to keep up with what is coming in. We do not live high on the hog. My wife works but being minimum wage it is not enough to make it. We are careful spending any money or change we have. I am asking in good faith to recieve help. I want to do the same thing in return to others here and elsewhere; once we are caught up and stable in income. I have never been fired or out of work before like this. It is really scary because all of my life I have worked hard, payed into the system, and lived an ethical lifestyle. We gratefully appreciate anything. Thank You for your time and help!
I am a retired 67-year-old man living on a very small pension. In fact, it does not cover my basic needs, so I have to see how I can get some additional money to make ends meet and believe me it is not easy and quit frustrating. What helps me a little is that I am a half-full glass of water person. And I am always trying out something new, like this for example. It keeps me busy and avoids becoming depressed.
I would really appreciate your help and all donations big or small are very welcome.
I can also offer something in return like a Portrait of Michael Jackson printed on artistic paint canvas, aquarelle paper or as a digital file. It is a picture of Michael Jackson, turned into artistic paintings and printed in different types of Aquarelle, Pencil, Felt marker, chalk, pastels, watercolor, portraitist or oil painting on paint canvas, aquarelle paper or as a digital file with characteristics of famous artists like Van Gogh, Monet, and Cezanne among others,. It can also be done from your pictures or from photos of any person, portrait, object or landscape Shipping is unframed via registered airmail in a Bubble envelope or a cardboard or plastic tube for protection. Size up to 12” x 16”. You can look it up on Ebay it is Item number:290647178321. I can also help with computer problems, repair and unlock cell phones like Iphones and Blackberries, setup and host websites and many other things in this area.
Well thank you for your patience and taking the time to read this and hopefully I await your business and/or donations as well.
My very best regards to you,
Richard

At my wits' end.

I need help. :( I've never done anything like this before--and I never thought that I'd have to. But desperate times call for desperate measures I suppose...

First of all, thank you for clicking in; I truly do appreciate it. I'm having some financial difficulty, and it's putting me under a lot of stress. I'm a single 24-year-old female, and I'm a university grad. However, I certainly don't feel like one. I've been unable to find a job since I graduated two years ago. I studied Social Science--I'll never make that same mistake again. Just recently, for the past couple of weeks, I've been working a minimum wage retail job for 10 hours a week. I'm grateful that I, at least, have something for now. I just wish that it was enough to fend off my student loan payments, credit card bills (which have long since been cancelled), bus/transportation fares (I don't have a car), a bank account, which always seems to be in deficit, and whatever else decides to pop up and torment me. I've decided to go back to school again next September and attend college, with hopes that I'll be better able to land a good job. I'll rack up more student debt, but if it means that I'll be able to stand on my own two feet again, then I'll do it. But for now, I need a bit of help to get by.

I understand that beggars can't be choosers, so I'm not going to specify a certain amount that I need. But anything that you are willing to spare will be greatly appreciated; every little bit counts. Once I'm secure in my life and in my finances, I've made a promise to myself to come back to websites, like these, to donate to others who also need a helping hand. I think it's wonderful that such people, who are at the end of their ropes, have a place to turn to. It's encouraging.

Again, I thank you for clicking in and taking the time to read this. Best wishes to you and your loved ones, and do take care.

Please help

Hello my name is Omar i have been desperately searching for help. I am passing through a very difficult time right now and I'm about to end up in the streets. I don't have money to pay my rent. I am behind 2 months already. I have used up my savings and sold practically every thing in my apartment so i can eat. After loosing my job and not qualifying for unemployment. I have search for a job and have had no luck, currently I have been going over to my local home depot parking lot to seek work by helping people with their home projects, but of course there are so many other people doing the same thing so i'm lucky if I get 1 or 2 jobs a week making $40 to $80 a week which is barely enough to eat. f So please, i wanted to know if there is any program out there or churches that can donate to me as quickly as possible? Or even websites with people that can donate to me? I need to pay my rent, I don't want to get kicked out. Please help me.

I am magestic Monique. I was receiving unemployment and it was depleted and my son's unemployment was depleted and neither one of us could find work. I am being evicted from my apartment with my son. He moved out and left me with all of the bills. He was paying half of the rent.
Also my car insurance is due and I need help with that.

I have been sober 20 years and don't do drugs or drink.

I have many bills and need help to pay them. I am seeking employment and have contacted my family. They can't help. I contacted 100 churches or more and all of the organizations.

I have been checking out websites seeking employment. I had many interviews and haven't found anything.

I have an Associates degree in travel and tourism.

I have a lot of ambition and I'm looking into self employment.

Please let me know if you can help me. My phone number is 561-856-9845

Need brief financial help. Begging for a loan!

Posted by one_day on 2011-09-29 16:58:19

I'm in a bad spot. And it seems a lot to ask for a loan because I dislike to ask for help with anything in life.. because I'm 22 and should be able to take care of myself. And I try my hardest at everyhting in life. What I need is $5,000 as a loan. 500 for rent, 275 car insurance, 500 to reactivate my phone, 4000 in credit card debt.. I just need the bare minimum. I do have a job, but I just acquired work and it starts as part-time.. and I won't see my first paycheck for 3 weeks.. I have rent due, and car insurance(I'm literally driving a coffin, my cellphone has been cut off completely and my credit card debt that I had no issue with until my ex boyfriend drained my account and ran off. This is a loan, not charity. I went as low as to offer myself over video performances to websites that make money from girls like me. I didn't do it because I wanted to, I just don't know how to make money immediately and I'm extremely stressed from it. Please contact me and I will tell you more of everything that I'm suffering with. I don't have kids, any addictions or any characteristic problems.. I just need help getting back on my feet so I can apply to college and get on with my young life. Please help :(
This is my first, and hopefully the last time I'm reaching out for financial help. I'm a university degree holder, a young writer from one of the poorest and most under privileged countries from Eastern Europe. English is not my first language, but as you see in this post I'm fairly educated. Soaring unemployment prevents me from making the minimum money needed to pay the bills I share with a flatmate.
I'm doing my best to change things, I'm starting my own little website since I can't afford more than 1 domain name at the moment. So...I'm NOT lazy, I'm passionate about work and the circumstances are suffocating.
Please help me by a small donation of your choice to bypass this month (bills) while I'm creating onloine streams of future income. WHOEVER helps me NOW when I'm in need - WILL BE rewarded, I'm willing to share my future success to say a big THANK YOU. I can write articles for you, or give away some of my future little commercial websites! Opportunities of my saying thanks are manifold. It's called good karma, you give and it'll return to you multiplied :)
I know there's a bright future for me, I only currently need your support so I don't face an eviction because of being late with bills for the last 2 months. :(
Please help me pull through and experience my genuine gratitude in the months to come.
THANKS

ATTENTION Plea for Help From Begslist Founder

Posted by begslist on 2011-08-17 14:58:10

A word from the founder of Begslist....

Hi Everyone,

This is Rex C., the founder of Begslist. Back in 2007, I created Begslist as a free begging website that allowed access to anyone who needs help.

I felt I needed to do this because I was in the same situation as many of you who post to my site. I know what some of you are going through and I have first hand experience on how it feels to go through tough times.

When I created Begslist, I also wanted to allow people to keep their pride and dignity by not having to beg for money in person. Begslist gives the chance to keep your identity anonymous instead of having to beg face-to-face.

BEGSLIST IS FREE!! I've tried to keep the Begslist reputation as a free cyber begging website compared to a paid cyber begging website ($15 to $42.50) to post to their websites because if you are struggling, have no money, and can't afford things...then why do begging sites ask you to pay to ask for help when they know you can't afford it in the first place?

Anyway, for the past few years I've been offering free help for others to post to my website and receive donations. Now it is my turn...

I am getting married on OCTOBER 1, 2011 and I am also looking for a house to live in for myself and my future wife-to-be before our wedding. I'm finding out that the wedding costs are adding up and house costs like closing, down payment, appraiser, inspector, etc... are adding up as well.

I am posting my story for help on my own website...please, please show your appreciation for Begslist with being a free website by sending a donation to show your support. Please help me with my wedding and new house costs.

Asking for donations to have a nice wedding and a bright future with my loving, caring, and beautiful wife-to-be. As many on my site say, any donation counts even if it is $1...it does add up!

Please send donations via PayPal to help4u@paypal.com or click on the donate button below.

Thanks in advance and best wishes to all!!!

Single Mother Stricken by Illness

Posted by sarahestatha on 2011-07-13 11:58:26

I don't know where else to turn. I'm hoping that there are people out there kind enough and in a position to help me in my desperate situation. Let me give you a bit of a look into my life.....I have two beautiful sons, 9 and 11.They are absolutely wonderful and they mean the world to me. Unfortunately I am dealing with an unbearable amount of hardships and I cannot give them any of the things they deserve.

I lost my job due to the business unexpectedly closing and soon after, fell VERY ill. I am trying to get the proper care and diagnoses that I so desperately need in order to properly care for my children but cannot seem to find anyone to help me. I have state insurance and it is next to impossible to find a doctor who is actually willing to invest some time into finding out what is wrong with me.

I cannot work a regular job because of being so ill. I have skills in computers and websites, but the job market for that is not very good. I also have college degrees in IT and administration. I am willing to work from home, but there again, no work is available that I can find, but I put in applications daily. We are receiving food stamps, but we are not eligible for anything else. I have no credit card debt or bank loans, but my medical expenses are well into the thousands.

I have tried to get on disability but was denied because I don't have a proper diagnoses from a doctor. It is believed by some of the doctors I have spoken to that I may have severe epilepsy, but in order to get a diagnoses I would need to see a bunch of different specialists and undergo several tests, which my insurance will not cover and I do not have the money for.

I'm a single mom, which makes all of this so much more difficult to deal with. I don't have any friends or family who can help me. I am reaching out hoping to find any kind of help possible. I just don't know what else to do. I feel so helpless, all I want is to be here for my children and be able to provide the things they need. I'm the only one they have in the whole world and I feel like I'm failing them.

I pray every day that I have the strength to keep pressing on but I'm getting really scared because my health is quickly deteriorating. Any donations to help me and my children, be able to afford proper health care, and pay off my debts, would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!!

Thank you all so much for taking the time to read. God bless!
