HELP US PLEASE - HOME IN DANGER OF REPOSSESSION

Posted by FallenFromGrace on 2012-05-15 05:58:23

Dear Sir or Madam,

We are an average family who have fallen upon very hard times. My wife was let go from her work about 18 months ago with no severance pay and has been unable to find any payable employment since... she has been volunteering at the local school as a classroom assistant but really could do with finding some new work soon.

As you can imagine with my wifes income lost to us things have been tight for a while now so it was an awful second blow when my employers went into administration and the factory was finally closed with all employees laid off, again with no severance pay just over 6 months ago now by the Administrators... we had been hopeful of a buyout but it didn't happen and the whole lot of us were placed onto the scrapheap. As it was we had no payrise for the previous four years...

Things are now hitting crisis point for me and my family, I have only been able to find 4 weeks of paying work in the last six months... we have sold the family car to try and keep my daughter in college and have the house up for sale in the hope we can pay off the capital and start renting but if we don't make this next mortgage payment the bank are going to start foreclosure on us... as for my slightly younger son and his college future that is currently looking very unlikely...

The family pets (2 Cats and 1 Staffie Dog) are as much a part of this family as any of us yet we are now with great reluctance and heartfelt pain considering having to give them up to a the local rescue centre... I think I will cry a thousand tears if I have to let them go but I need to be pratical and focus on my wife and children and putting them first... For I will cry a million tears if I let them down any further than I already have...

Any HELP you can give us will be most gratefully received and a prayer of thanks will be said for every penny.

God Bless you and God Bless America.

Many thanks for reading this.

Couple seeking support while attending College

Hello,
My wife and I are in need of a Camper to live in. After our 3 year struggle, and a whole lot of self reflection, we are prepared and motivated to create a life that is self sustaining and rewarding. Our goals are well defined and our dedication unmeasurable. We will both be attending College in July, and are homeless until then. For the past 2 years, we have maintained our safety by volunteering for state parks in return for a free place to stay...in our tent. Work has been more then scarce, at present we live on food stamps and love. A camper would provide us with a more stable, structured and secure environment while we attend our schooling. Any additional help is appreciated. Thank you.

Need money for volunteering

Hello :)
I am a girl from 21, that is born and lives in Belgium. Yeah, that small country between Holland, France and Germany that didn't had a government for 541 days.. (I still do not get it..)

Because my parents are really poor, I am a student, I can't get enough money from work, and have to pay back €5000 I can not manage to make my dream come true without someones help. Normally I'll never do this but i am desperate. :)
My dream is to make a work and travel(volunteering) traveltrip at the end of this year to Asia (Thailand, India, Indonesia, cambodja,..) and help chilldren with mental problems because they are victums of child abuse.(I know we have our priest here that made a lot of young victums but in Asia they don't get the same/enough help and compassion.) Also i want to go to Australia and help on organic farms, in National parks and on animal farms. (kangoroo, pinguins, ..) I want to get a lot of experience and finally think clear. I want to see how everything goes on the other side of the world and help out where i can.. Do something really good in my life, something that feels right, helping other people and giving animals hope. :)

I am very sorry that I bother you with this. But if I don't try, I don't know, right? :) please make my dream come true! It would be amazing if you can help me out with this. Thank you so much!!!

Sorry if i made some faults in my writing, or if I was rude in some phrases. My English isn't that well. :)

Thank You For Your Time, I Am Pleased!

Hi I'm Dee and I have dreams of becoming a pharmacist. I have the grades and ambition but unfortunately I am lacking the funds. After servicing in retail pharmacy long enough to become financially stable I would like to invest in my own non-profit clinic for those who cannot afford medical attention. This endeavor will also create opportunities for students not yet admitted into their professional programs as well as teenagers looking for ways to boost resumes by offering volunteering services. I can assure you this is not a scam. I need all the help I can receive and no amount is too small. If you need more information which I'm sure you will please contact me through
Email: black_beeyouteeful@yahoo.com or by responding to this post. If you are not interested please pass along to someone who you think will be interested. Thanks.

Helping my daughter honor a friend

Posted by allibeech on 2012-01-18 09:58:10

Hi..my name is Alli. Thanks for taking the time to read my page.
My daughter, Brooke, is 14. She tragically lost her best friend in an auto accident shortly before Christmas. They were inseperable, and chose to spend most of their free time at the local no-kill animal shelter volunteering. The cats and dogs meant very much to them, and they had both decided to pursue careers working with animals.
After her friend's funeral, Brooke made a pledge to raise money in her friend's name to donate to the shelter. She has put her heart and soul into this, but as we are in a mostly rural area, it hasnt been that easy. Brooke has a goal of raising $5000 by what would have been her friend's birthday in July. I know it is a lofty, and perhaps unrealistic goal..but this means so much to her. Would you be kind enough to contribute? Thank you ever so much, and God Bless-

Hard times

Hello all,

I'm a 21 year old college student with a 3.4 gpa. I'm a art edu major, and things are turning around for the worst. My parents are cutting me off, and i need help with my rent for the spring semester. I really hope you find it in your heart to help me out. I feel like right now it's not my time right now, I'm out helping overs, volunteering my time at the boys and girls club, only not to have help myself. God bless and thank you.

Need financial help for moving & Christmas

Posted by nc61385 on 2011-12-20 17:58:31

To anyone that will listen:

My fiance and I are in desperate need of some financial help. We recently found out that I am pregnant and found a place for us and his seven year old to move into. We have enough to get in the door on January 1st, but not enough to turn on the water or electricity, and there is no way we will have a Christmas either, as all our money went into securing our apartment. I'd even be willing to pay a loan back at a high interest rate. I just need help, PLEASE. I am a good person and do my share of volunteering and helping when i can. I hope someone can answer our prayers.

Thanks

hi im 21 have a part time job and attend college as well as volunteer at a local at risk youth center.

being up to date with my rent bills and student loans leaves me strapped for money i could give up volunteering and pick up a second job but being that i was once in their position and not having anyone to help makes me realize it is more important.

i usually get around on the bus but with my schedule next semester i only have evening classes and the bus stops at 7. A man at the place where i volunteer was kind enough to give me a car.

Problem is i have a car that need to be repaired it was given to me but i need to change the head gasket and get the head machined i can do the work my self but need money for the parts and machining cost which in turn is about 400 dollars

being that i believe in karma and have actually donated on this site before i would give it a try

thank you all in advance and god bless

Logan's Heros

Posted by cori00125 on 2011-09-17 17:58:47

I am a 32 year old working mom of three beautiful children and I have the most wonderful husband anyone could ask for. We have the perfect mid-west life. We both work full time (and enjoy what we do), have a nice home, we're able to afford some luxuries in life although in moderation, that is enough for me. I enjoy cooking, and entertaining in my time off from work, and spending family time with my kids, parents, and neighbors. My children are Jordon (age 13), Logan (age 10), and Brianna (age 9). The kids are active in sports, and in our small community we are well known, and frequently can be seen volunteering at community events, church, and our local high school, of which we are both alumni. I live less than two miles from the home I grew up in. Sounds perfect if you ask me.

On February 18th, 2011 our son Logan (age 10) was diagnosed with a large brain tumor. He was not having many symptoms only occasional headaches. I was concerned that he may have been developing migraines and so I took him to see our family physician. His physical exam was normal including a rather thorough neurological exam. Dr. Arntz agreed with my initial thought and prescribed him some migraine medication. What a relief! He asked us to get a CT scan of Logan's head only as a precaution and he even stated that he didn't think there was any real concern, just a precaution. 5 days later, we were heading to the University of Michigan; Mott's childrens hospital because his precautionary CT scan had confirmed the worst for us. A 6 cm brain tumor in the posterior fossa of Logan's brain. Causing the cerebral spinal fluid to back up and create pressure in his head (hence the headaches).

Before leaving the house for the hospital we gave Logan a brief description of the problem, and explained to him that we didn't know what was going to happen next but we were going to the hospital to find out. You could see the worry on him but he was tough, shrugged his shoulders and said, "Well, I guess I better call it something, I think I'll name it Steve." So off we went, notifying family on the way to the hospital, and completely sick to my stomach.

Three days later we would embark on the scariest days of my life. Logan was promptly scheduled for surgery the following Monday and we were told there was a high probability that the tumor was cancerous. Dr. Cormac Maher performed 14 hours of brain surgery on Logan on Monday February 21st, and confirmed our fears that Logan indeed had a cancerous brain tumor called medulloblastoma. Then more bad news the post operative MRI showed that they had been able to remove all of the tumor and Logan would need more surgery. The next day he underwent another 6 hours of brain surgery. We caught it early but based on where the tumor sat he may not be able to talk or walk normally for 3-6 months. Lucky for us he talks and walks very well all things considered. But there has been radiation therapy and chemo therapy will continue until February or March of next year. There is a 75-80% chance of survivability, I feel blessed with those odds.

Logan is doing very well but this situation has put an incredible financial burden on us. I am falling behind on bills and need help. Andy is working constantly and I even started a second job on the weekends to try to help supplement the lost income from prescriptions, gas to and from the hospital, and just having to take time off work for appointments and Logan's sick days... I don't know what else to do. The banks have tried thankfully to work with us but our circumstance is not going to change for quite awhile longer. Our family's do not have a lot of money, and have already tried to help so much that I think it may be putting a strain on them as well. The church sends gas cards occasionally but there is just not enough to keep us going for the next year.

Here' s the kicker, Logan started his own Relay for Life team. I had taken him to a local expo about 3 weeks after he had been discharged from the hospital because I thought it would be good exercise for him to walk around and there would be lot's to look at, and there was a booth for the American Cancer Society. He walked up to the lady at the booth and he said " How old do you have to be to have a team?" She signed him up on the spot. Logan Bailey's Super Survivors have raised $8300.00 for the American Cancer Society! He's only a little more than $1600.00 away from his goal of raising $10000.00 for the Relay for Life. We've held auctions, bake sales, and concerts. It's been a wonderful distraction for him and he is super excited about reaching that fund-raising goal. We have asked our friends to contribute to his goals in lieu of giving us personal financial assistance. It's more important to me that his endeavors to do more for others, are successful.

We cannot change Logan's circumstance. He will always be a brain cancer survivor, and I will forever be a medullo-mom. But, if we can make this even minutely easier for others having to face it after us then we will do it. Logan donated "Steve the brain tumor" to medical research and he volunteered to participate in a medical research trial for his treatments. We hope that the money raised for the American Cancer Society will make a difference in research and support for anyone suffering with a cancer diagnosis. We hope that the research will make the work of wonderful, selfless, people like Dr. Maher and his team easier and more successful. If I had been diagnosed with this same type of cancer at the age of ten it would have been a terminal diagnosis... the research is working!!

I need help, I need financial help for my family so that we can stop the worrying over finances and concentrate on bringing our entire family through this successfully looking at it in a positive light and remembering that we did it with hearts full of love and with others in mind. Logan is a truly remarkable child and I am so proud of him. I anxiously await your response Thank you for your consideration.

I know that there are others out there who need money for more important things than I like medical treatment and I have tried to sell nearly everything I own to raise money to no avail. I just do not know what else to do.
My name is Georgina Hermsdorf, I am 45 years old and I make this post with a heavy and broken heart and dented pride.I am asking for funds for 3 purposes.
1.Medical Care to save my cat
(She is my priority right now)
2.Fix my car.
3.Relocate to Dallas Texas for Job Reasons.

1.My 14 year old cat Angelica Precious (Angel) whom I have had since 8 weeks old
(She was a Christmas gift to me from my whole family after a Coyote took my
Squeekers) needs blood work to determine if she has Hyperthyroidism, Diabetes or if her kidneys or liver are failing. This is a big thing for me because she is my baby, my best friend, my guardian angel, my everything. I love her so much and right now with all I am going thru she is all that keeps me strong, she is all that I have to hold on to. All I want at this very moment is to be able to get her the blood tests to find out for sure what is wrong, then if treatment is needed get her on treatment, if worst comes to worse and her liver or kidneys are failing then be able to put her to sleep have her cremated and be able to keep her ashes. All my other trouble seem inconsequential to this. I have been to every charity that helps pets that there is, and there is no help there.

2.My 1986 Buick Century Ltd not behaving right think it might be a problem with Carburetor or Transmission, I need this car for my demonstration job this job cannot be done by bus I have equipment and materials I have to take with me for the Demonstrations.

3.I want to relocate to Dallas Texas because I have 2 job opportunities there and if they do not pan out then I feel job opportunities there are better than Washington State period.

I have a sister in Dallas Texas who works for Hilton Reservations World Wide I used to work for them in Hemet CA she talked to them and they see no problem with me returning to work for them but I would have to go thru the application, interview and training process. To do that I need to be in Dallas Texas, have a Dallas Texas address. They will be doing another training class in October 2011

In addition the company (Prodemoworks based out of Arizona) I am currently working for doing in store demonstrations also does in store demonstrations in Dallas Texas, and I was able to get the name and email of the Dallas AM there I emailed her and she emailed me the name and contact information for the District supervisor whom I have contacted and she has already asked for my employee ID number so she can get me set up in the system.

I am actually hoping I can get a weekday schedule at Hilton and be able to work demonstrations on weekends. Yes work the 2 jobs. Also hoping to be able to go back to volunteering at a local animal shelter as I did in Ocean Shores WA for about 8 months.
I would like to leave for Dallas Texas October 1st 2011 or before. I am going by moving truck towing my car

My father is willing to put me up till October 1st 2011 but that is all he will do for me, he is and forgive me for saying this being a hard nose. (Long story there)

Also a friend of the family is willing to drive the moving truck for me but I would have to get him back to Tacoma Washington.

I would be taking a route that takes me thru Hemet California so that I can pick up some other personal belongings in storage there. (Another Long Story)

I really feel this is the best move for me, a fresh start in a new town where there are opportunities for me to find work and once again become a productive self supportive independent individual. Also it takes me away from bad memories of a relationship gone badly and the loss of a child.

If you would like to know the whole sordid story of how I ended up in the mess I am in or exactly how much ot will cost to accomplish, if you wish to mail a donation email me at geoherms@gmail.com.
Hello Everyone!

My name is Trent Mahoney and I have been selected along with fellow University Students to travel to Fiji later this year, to work as volunteers on various areas that will help to improve the lives of relatively impoverished Fijian villagers.

The organisation running this important project is called VESA (Volunteer Eco Students Abroad) and you can view their website here:

http://vesabroad.com.au/volunteering

This organisation is not actually a "Registered Charity" as such, so any donations you kindly make will not be "Tax Deductible" as charity donations...but I hope that does not deter you from helping me raise the funds I need.

The REASON I need to raise funds (as do all my Fellow Uni. Students that have been selected!), is that I (we) need to help PAY for the cost of our travel expenses and accommodation whilst IN Fiji, doing our important volunteer work!

PLEASE...help me, as I am (as I said) a University Student (full time!) and I have VERY limited income from only a part-time job on the weekend, which barely pays for my general living expenses. Also, my Mum and Dad (divorced) are single income earners...on pretty mediocre incomes and can do little to help me themselves personally...to raise the funds I need!

Please help me...I really want to do this volunteering work and will NOT be able to go, unless I can help to offset the cost of my expenses in getting and staying there!

Kind Regards: TRENT.

Mid-Life Crisis, Career change, need a little help

Posted by Darawishful on 2011-04-06 13:58:01

My career as a property developer is unsuccessful because I cannot consistently stay employed, and it is only worse with this recession. Now I want to start a new career writing travel articles and volunteering overseas. I need a financial safety net so that I don't go broke overseas. So please help with whatever you can while I am making this career change. I have no wife and family with children, and am now in my early forties. Perhaps I can start a new life if I can manage a successful career change.

Help us start an orphanage in Hati for HIV+ Children

My friend and I have been volunteering in Haiti for many years but always with others establised organizations. Her dream has been to open a home/orphange for HIV + or AIDS children. It will be small only 7 kids so it will have the feel of a home. Well we are very excited that the dream is now a reality. As of last week we have found the perfect house to make a home in Leogane, Haiti. We have already put down a holding payment of $2,000., but we still need to raise an additional $10,000 to pay the first yrs rent. Unfortunately in Haiti you have to pay for the entire year in advance. We have a blog and a website. Some donations are coming in slowly, but we arent even close to what we need by the begining of May. Not only do we have to come up with the rent money, but we need to obtain all the things nessecary to fill this empty house. Its alot of stuff. Just look around wherever you are sitting now and thats probably only a small fraction of the same stuff we will need. We also need to get a generator, inverter and batteries just to keep the lights on. We also need to get a water filtration system and pump to make the well in the backyard work!!! Thanks for your help. We promise to give back to the community.

Help me get into Med School

Posted by nickcooper on 2011-01-10 23:58:58

I am a 15 year old guy with a passion for helping people. I decided about a year and a half ago that I wanted to devote my life to medicine, specifically Emergency Medicine. I decided this when I watched someone get hit by a car just up the street from my house and I couldn't help. I am currently volunteering in a hospital to get exposure and I am on the honor roll at my high school. I am not asking for a lot of money, anything you can give would be great. If you can't donate anything, no worries, just keep me in your thoughts.

Thanks,

Kandi Boo Animal Rescue

We are in the process of opening a "NO KILL" animal rescue center.
We rely solely on donations as we are a “NOT FOR PROFIT CENTER”, IE: Dog/Cat Food, building supplies, voluntary transportation of animals, veterinarian vouchers for animals that need medical assistance....so on and so forth.
We have been volunteering our time and donations to several other "NO KILL" rescue centers and have been asking ourselves what would be the best way to reach out and save more animals.
Through much prayer and allot of consideration our family has come to the decision to open our own "NO KILL" rescue center.
Along with 2 co-founders that also have been active with other animal rescues.
Everyone involved is 100% volunteer.
However, the home we currently reside in is a leased home, and even though the leaser has allowed us to RESCUE 4 dogs and 2 cats they will not allow us to build kennels or a kitty haven to start our center.
Therefore we are reaching out to our community to help us find a 3 bedroom mobile home and a small amount of land.
We are in constant contact with numerous LARGE companies willing to donate some of the items that we need to build; however we have no-where to build.
If you could find it in your heart to reach out to us and help us save more dogs/cats and possibly even small farm animals buy donating a 3 bedroom mobile home and a small piece of property you would be saving the lives of many helpless animals that are as we speak on the HIGH KILL list for euthanasia for no other reason than the fact that Animal Control population is overwhelming and their only option is to euthanize.
PLEASE REMEMBER, YOUR DONATION IS 100% TAX DEDUCTABLE AS WE ARE A NOT FOR PROFIT CENTER
May God Bless and Keep You
And thank you so much for taking the time to read our story.
Hope to hear from you in the very near future.
