i am a fifty year old woman. i was married to a very abusvive man for 23 years because i did not realize i had options. i have three children and five grandchildren and because of the damage my abuser did to my credit, i have not owned a home since i ran for my life. i want to have a place for my grandchildren to come and visit. i now work for a not for profit organization helping battered women. I really hate begging, but it's my last hope. I was working full time and just barely staying afloat with my basic bills (electric, rent, car insurance). Hello everyone, my name is Ryan and I am 18 years old. I live in Baltimore, Maryland. I suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after witnessing the sudden death of the closest person to me in the ENTIRE world, my best friend who lost his life 7 months ago. Many times I become anxious or depressed, and my SSRI medication allows me to function in a normal society. Have been a great nurse for 36 years, now unemployed and have not found a job. Certainly did not think the job problem would affect nursing. I know God has a plan for me, and hope for a sign/guidance soon. My savings are almost gone to pay bills/mortgage. Don't get me wrong, I am so blessed in many ways. Am trying not to worry, but have no health insurance, all my savings will be gone in a month and I don't know what to do. Am trying to be positive, since being out of work allows me to help my future mother in law (she is 94)My fiance and I are trying to keep feeding a colony of cats, some ferel, but some have become very loving and they all look forward to our daily visits, and the food we bring. Any help would be so appreciated. Hopefully I will be able to get work soon and be able to help others.

Hi, I am a 21 year old woman... in December my daughter was born via emergency c-section at 27 week weighing just 495g.. She survived for 71 days and fought through so much, 4 operations, gaining weight, battling infection however in the end her tiny heart stopped... she weighed 3lb 3oz by then... My daughter died in the February to my suprise i found out i was pregnant again in April only to miscarry at 6 weeks... My family disowned me because i buried my daughter in her fathers hometown even though my 'family' did not visit her in her 71 beautiful days of life.. i never left my daughter and even argued with a registrar one night after being admitted to hospital that he was to let me away for 2 hours to say good night...I need a short break and would greatly appreciate any donations...

I’m an ordinary Grandma who would love to visit the Grandchildren I have never seen. We have worked hard all our lives but a combination of ill health, the recession in the UK and being unable to obtain work, primarily because of our age, we are struggling financially. Everything started to fall apart 4 years so when my husband became ill; I became ill 18 months later. He lost his job & has been unable to obtain another. My illness prevents me from being employed. I have still the last 4 years tried to run various businesses on the internet but with no success & our old age pensions (mine was due next year) have been put back by the UK Government for another 4 years.

We have 2 grandchildren we have never seen. They live in Portugal with my daughter & her husband. They are poor & struggling too so they cannot come to the UK nor pay for us to go there.

The cost of 2 flights from the UK to Porto or Lisbon will be around £800 for both of us. The cost of car hire (we need to hire a car to as they live in a tiny village inaccessible by public transport a couple of hours from the airport) is around £600 for 2 weeks

The first 2 weeks in August would be a lovely time to visit as they are on holiday from work & school.

I would so love to see my grandchildren, play with them, hug them. It hurts not seeing them more than I can say.

My husband says I’m wasting my time but I believe that there are good, generous people around who will help just as we have helped other people in our good times.

my grandmother is in stage 4 of pancreatic cancer - we don't know exactly how long she has left, she really could go at anytime, so it'd mean to world for me to be able to visit her one last time. I haven't seen her since 2007, when I moved to the other side of Nebraska. I've been in contact with her, and she'd like to see me as well. She lives in Crawford, Nebraska and is only 67. It's so sad because she had just beat breast cancer last year.
I currently live in Baltimore, MD and I need to catch a Greyhound bus to Cheyenne, Wyoming - from there, I'll either get a ride or catch the Denver Coach up to Alliance, Nebraska, where my father lives. I intend to stay there for at least one week while visiting, longer if possible)I have my own health issues and need to keep my doctor appts, but I'm wiling to shove those aside should I have the chance to stay in Nebraska longer). I am on SSI, so I cannot afford a ticket on my own. If I leave immediately, the ticket to Cheyenne is nearly $350 from Baltimore - a ticket for the Denver Coach from Cheyenne to Alliance will run me around $100 and I'd also like to get some extra for gas for my dad to return me to Cheyenne, or enough to catch the Denver Coach back to Cheyenne, not to mention food while there. Food is cheap out there so I wouldn't need much to avoid mild starvation =P

Hello. In July, 2010, my husband Theo was diagnosed with West Nile Virus and Encephalitis causing him to lose his motor skills and become an infant in a 40 yr old body. The virus is gone, but the effects linger. He has been out of work for almost 21 months. We live in Orlando, FL and Theo has been receiving treatment in St Louis, MO for the last 7 weeks. The treatments are working and the Dr wants to keep him for another 6 weeks. We are trying to raise $3000 to cover the costs of his stay, the Dr visits and his flight home. Hello our there for anyone really reading this. I am a married 22 year old with a two year old. I could really use some help do to everything. I'm in and out of doctors office constistly do to my thyroid being so large and slowly killing me. Do to all of my do to all of my doctors visits has put us really behind on bills. Both me and my husband work over 40 hrs a week but it doesn't seem to be enough. No matter what we do we cant get caught up and on the verge of losing our house and car due to a title loan we got thinking it would help but it only helped for a min. My father was diagnosed with Lung Canger, Stage Four a month ago. He worked all of his life to support his family and has always helped others out. Two months ago he thought he had a pnemonia and called his doctor to set up an appointment. She failed to find an infection and refered him to get further testing. The test results came back that he in fact has lung cancer and it has spread to his brain, liver, and lymph nodes. The cancer also caused extra fluid to accumulate around his heart which they drained. He just finished his first round of radiation treatment and is undergoing Chemotherapy twice a month. The doctors gave my father a prognosis of 18 months.
My parents have a mortgage and many of bills that are currently falling behind due to my father being unable to work. He was approved for Social Security Benifits but there is a 5 month waiting period with no exceptions and therefore he needs to wait until September to see his first check. I tried everything I could to see if there was an exception and the Social Security office told me that I would have to talk to my Senator. I plan on writing to him regarding this, but I know it will take a while before I hear back from any of them. Seeing my 56 year old father in such agonizing pain is hard enough, seeing my mother in a constant state of depression is extremly hard and trying to come up with plans to get fincancial help for my father seem to all be for nothing because he got not qualify for financial help due to my mothers pay. They dont put into consideration that they have a mortgage and a vehicle to pay for and with all of the doctors bills and presciption costs; they do not have enough money.
I am looking for any help that I can get. Any donated money would go directly to my father for his bills and mortgage payment. It would also go to presciptions and doctors visits so that he can continue to get good care. I have tried so many ways to find a solution to his financial problems and this is my last hope. I am a type 1 diabetic and I'm only 25 its hard on me right now. I do work two jobs but thats only enough money for my medications and test strips and doctor visits. I hav tried applying for medical cards and etc. but I'm always denied and its very discuraging to me. but right now my problem is my teeth they are getting really bad and I need to get them fixed, all I know is that they said it would be about $200 for each tooth to get pulled witch i need 4 pulled and after that I need the rest filled and fixed witch is like another $1,000 wow thats alot..not done yet then when thats done I'll need implants or fake teeth, partial dentures, what ever they call them because the teeth they will pull are my mollers (i cant spell) i wont hav any mollers to chew with :(.dont know what else to do, I'v never asked for help befor, someone told me about asking for help online so here I am. I recently had to move away from my fiancee as I was unable to find work where we were living. I have not been home in almost 6 months. The only job I've been able to find while living in another state is minimum wage, and I've been working long hours and not making enough to even save 100 dollars a month... I typically make just enough for gas and a little food.

If I am not able to save even just a little money, I don't know if I'll be able to see him again. I'll be stuck here. In a dead end job that won't allow me to ever save enough to finally go home.
