Praying for help with pelvic surgery

Posted by stillexhausted on 2012-05-25 09:58:31

Hi, I'm a mom with 3 little girls in elementary school and a gorgeous husband and I thought my life, though simple, was perfect. We've never lived beyond our means and have tried to do the best by our family. We've given to lots of charities (mainly World Vision and Red Cross) and never thought we'd have to ask ANYONE for even a penny.
I don't know if "Medical Bills" is the right category but medical is why we can't pay our other bills and are in trouble with the bank over our home payments.
Since #3 was born I have had a bowel resection following them finding colo-rectal cancer - and I thought that was the end of it. I now have a prolapsed uterus (sorry.. this area of my body is a disaster) which I need to have operated on. I have to pay for that operation but also I'm scheduled for a routine staging colonoscopy at the same time. This is TOO MANY BILLS! I am praying that this will be the end of it and I can return to full-time work in the next 3 or 4 months.
There are so many stories of people's difficulties that I'm a little embarrassed to even ask. If you can spare a small amount, our family would really appreciate it.

Need money for heart treatment

Posted by sun007 on 2012-05-19 23:58:21

I need immediately $ 3000 towards my hear treatment. The doctors advised me to go for immediate treatment but I could not go because of my financial position. Though I had enough money I lost in business believing friends and partners. I have helped so many but when I am in distress none is coming for my rescue. Yesterday I prayed to God I god a vision to try through Internet.

Donations needed for starting a deaf school in Mexico.

Posted by Childhelper on 2012-04-25 13:58:22

Hi, My name is Ana Lindsey. I have a vision to start a school for the deaf kids in Mexico. I need $10 million dollars for all the supplies and learning materials. I am a teen, who wants to help children learn better. The deaf kids in Mexico are very illiterate. Many of them grow up to be beggars, and they have no hope for their future. Please help me make their future better by providing education for them. Any donations would be very appreciated and a million thank yous to those who donate to my cause for the 2 million deaf kids in Mexico.

Medical bills are overwhelming me

Posted by l3roken on 2012-03-20 07:58:14

I'm 34 years old and I am here to beg for help. I need help with paying a medical debt, current medical bills, continued health care, and also catching up on household bills as all of those are at minimum 1 month behind now.

I have had a variety of health problems for the last few years, these have also interfered with my employment. While I am still employed part time for now, it is nearly impossible for me to work more than that. The most recent issue had me in a wheelchair and on crutches for several months. I'm walking now, but with a great deal of pain. I don't have insurance and I can't afford the physical therapy I need to help get me back to somewhat normal.

I have several thousand dollars in medical bills. A huge issue at the moment is that one of my many med bills had been sent to collection, then I was sued and a garnishment was granted. My paychecks are not even up to the minimum for garnishment, so they have refiled to freeze my bank account and take my money from there instead. They wouldn't get anything out of it at the moment since I'm broke, but it would leave me unable to use my account to pay my basic bills such as rent, electricity, water, etc.

I also need to see a dentist and an optometrist. It has been several years since I have seen either and I need new glasses and 2 crowns. I've been living on borrowed time with the 2 temporary crowns that were put in several years ago.

I have a very small family and I cannot turn to them because only my stepfather is working and he is already supporting my mother, my sister, & my nephew.

Just to get the bank garnishment taken care of and help me get back to the doctor I need a little over $1900.00. Any more would go to my other medical/dental/vision expenses.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for donating.

HELP ME PLEASE

Posted by tinkerbelle48 on 2012-03-16 06:58:50

My car stopped on me, I have two kids here with me and I cannot be without my car. I'm begging for someone to please help me. I blew the engine driving it with no oil. There is no way that I can afford to have this car fixed. I asked someone to check the oil for me prior to this happening and I was told that there was oil in the car. I'm sorry. I promise I will never do it again. I am a single mom with no job and it's been so hard for me. I'm also vision impaired and it's weird because my state allows me to drive but people won't hire me because of my vision impairment. So you see financially I just suck. Please, I'm begging to please help me

Desperate Situation

Posted by wannabesolvent on 2012-02-12 19:58:48

Thank you for reading this.
I once had as much overtime as I wanted, during which time I had a large mortgage but an income which could cope. Now the recession has hit, overtime is a thing of the past. I have tried so hard to find other work for my days off to provide an extra income, but there is nothing going.
I am now desparate, my outgoings exceed my income, and I fear that I may be about to lose everything. I have this vision of my house being repossessed, and my wife leaving me, all due to lack of income. My wife is older than me, and diabetic, the stress is making her diabetes very hard to control, sometimes I think she would be better off without me, but I keep battling. I just can't turn things around. We have no vices, we don't smoke, don't drink, don't gamble, we don't actually waste any money at all, but it just isn't enough.
If anybody can find it in their hearts to help us out we would be so grateful. Obviously it would be thousands to repay the mortgage, I would not dream of asking for that. But any amount received would go directly to the mortgage, to saving my home and marriage. Honestly, anything would help, however small.
Thank you again for taking the time to read this.
Hello,

My name is Uweye Jenning Onoriode, a Pastor, from Nigeria; I greet you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Peace from God the father and the Lord Jesus Christ. You don't know me neither do I, but don't be chased out, I sent out this message to many over the internet seeking financial assistance for My Ministry.

This may surprise you, as it is kind of strange to see this happen over the internet, but don't be scared, I am a Christian, and I come to you in peace. But before I continue, I want to note a sounding fact here which is that, you may have been a victim of internet scam, and it may have caused you heart breaks; this may have discouraged you from given attention to any internet request or offer. But I tell you, what I bring to you is not just an offer neither is it a request, but it is an opportunity to succeed. Yes! It is!

The reason I ask for financial support on the internet, and what it is been used for is briefly outlined below as you read on. I am the leader of a church congregation, and we are just starting out as a church, as a new ministry, as a vision, we need finances to run some certain church projects. Right now, we are in need of about $800 which is about N120, 000 in the Nigerian currency (Naira). Now, we cannot afford this money all by ourselves. And as a start, we are all young people, majority of us are students because we are starting out in a schooling environment, I mean that we are starting as a ministry on campus, university campus here in Nigeria, and you know that students hardly get good money for feed, not to talk about money to give towards the church projects which is very strenuous for them now at this level.

Now, we need musical instruments and equipments, and also, we need some amount of money to finance some other ministry projects, and all these are costing us money. The estimate of what all these are costing us is $800.

The Bible encourages us to give towards his work, in the Book of Ecclesiastes 11:1;
'Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days.’

This is an admonishment from God the master through the wisdom of solomon to us who are his children that we should sow our seed to the anointing as the waters used there refers to the anointing. The word of God tells us in the book of Psalm 126:5-6,

'May those who sow in tears reap with shouts of joy! He that goes forth weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.'

You see that? Please, don't think in your heart that I am persuading you with the word of God for personal financial gains. Oh no! God is my witness in spirit to genuineness of intentions by this message. But if the Lord lays it in your heart to give to us a token, whatever you want to give to us, whatever you have to give to us, then we will gladly accept it in the name of Jesus! Like I will always say, given to God is personal, so it is not a force, neither of necessity nor of compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver; as He admonishes in the Book of 2Corunthians 9:7-8,

'Each one must do as he has made up his mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that you may always have enough of everything and may provide in abundance for every good work.'

You see this exhortation from the Lord? God always want you give towards every good work. And the good work He is talking about here is the works that advances and promotes his kingdom.

May God richly bless you in this period of celebration as you give to us in the establishment of our ministry in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ!

HELP TO PAY BILLS

Posted by mygod on 2012-01-02 01:58:51

Hi, I am asking for help to pay my bills that add up to 5,000 dollars. I have been assisting my mother who is loosing her vision. While doing so, I got behind in my bills. I would love to pay these bills off. I thank God that these are the only two major bill that I have. I do not want to have these bills hanging over my head and assisting my mom this is very stressful but, I love my mom. I pray that help comes from someone. I would like to say thank you in advance.

Writer Needs New Glasses

Posted by AppreciativeRecipient on 2011-12-18 14:58:10

Please consider helping a writer with a vision exam and glasses. It will cost about $400 for both. It is getting hard to focus on the computer screen and even to read street signs when driving, which is just dangerous. Also am undergoing a job search at this time and have a financial catastrophe happening due to lack of work. Please help if you can. If you give $50, only seven other people would need to respond to help me have safe and clear vision. Any amount will be appreciated. If over $400 is received, it will go to handle other medical needs. Thank you.

Never Thought It Would Come to This--Please Help

Posted by AppreciativeRecipient on 2011-12-18 13:58:58

Without sufficient friends or family to rely on, a single person with special-needs pets needs your help in any amount. No steady work in spite of many interviews and diligent searching, multiple health issues, and lack of adequate support network have left this person in a desperate situation. Ten dollars will buy a bag of groceries. One hundred dollars will pay an electricity bill. Eight hundred dollars will help keep this person and the pets in their home. Eighty dollars will help keep communications open so this person can continue to look for work. Eighty-three dollars will buy prescription dry and canned pet food. Twenty dollars will pay for human prescriptions. Two hundred dollars will buy a warm winter coat that fits and which is suitable for job interviews. Five dollars will buy a thrift store garment in the person's current size (presentable clothes that fit are an issue). One hundred twenty dollars will buy a suit for a job interview. Sixty dollars will buy shoes that do not hurt and which are suitable for work. Thirty dollars will help pay for the laundromat for a couple of weeks. Fifteen dollars will buy an herbal supplement to help treat a life-threatening condition.

The financial situation for this person has become very dire due to lack of work. The person is applying for many types of jobs at any rate of pay. This is a skilled and educated individual who is eager to do any work of which the person is capabale. Any amount can help relieve the health-robbing pressure and burden on this person. Two hundred fifty dollars would allow the person to get a needed cleaning for the first time in over two years and to check on tooth pain and a possible jaw problem. Ten dollars will cover the required donation required to visit a low-income medical clinic. Twenty-five dollars will cover most urgent prescriptions for a month.

Two dollars will buy a little bit of fruit. Four hundred dollars will provide a vision exam and new glasses or a couple of pair of replacement lenses as this person is having difficulty seeing with the old glasses.

Please forgive the third person description. It is very hard to write this and just about impossible to use the word "I" in telling this story.

Even a tiny amount will help go for something necessary. No amount is too large or too small to be appreciated or put to practical use to help a very grateful person climb out of a very bad situation and create a more stable and secure life. Thank you again for reading.

Car Repairs & Other Outstanding Bills

Posted by mistyblu60 on 2011-11-01 13:58:13

I am a 63 year old woman in need of help. I live in Hutchinson, Kansas. Well, for starters, I am only getting $694.00 a month disability to live on. Just trying to keep my head above water, and Thank God too for my Vision Card for Food which I am very careful on what I buy. Just feel like I should let you know a little about myself. I am on kidney dialysis and would love to get out and work, but after my treatments, I am so drained and have to go home and lay down.
Here is a few things I need help with.
I need some car repapirs first and formost, and not sure what it will cost or what is wrong with it for sure. I was told just to put it on a macnine to check it out would cost $65.00 plus tax and hopefully then I will know what I am looking at in repairs for car. I need my car so I can go back and forth to Doctor in Wichita Kansas which is about a 50 mile drive from where I live and to my dialysis treatments which is here in Hutchinson, Kansas where I do live. When I go to hospital for surgeries, I need to go to Wichita Kansas and I want my car in good shape so I can have other people drive it to bring it back home until I need to be picked up from hospital. Now, another thing, I have a couple of credit cards that I am trying to pay down and am trying my best, but the interest is so outragous it is rediculas, and don't seem to make any headway on that. I am only going to ask for even 50 cents, a dollar, any amount will help. So please, if you can see your way to help me out, it would be so much apprecieated. I am praying that I can get some kind of help for these things that I need so badly. God be with you and Thank You so much for your help in advance.

Please help pay for my dog's cataract removal surgery!

Posted by ninrutgib on 2011-10-03 00:58:32

About a week ago, I noticed my dog's eyes had suddenly become a cloudy blue/grey color. He started walking into things, bumping into furniture, and was not able to walk downstairs without tripping. My mom and I took him to the vet a few days later, and the doctor said he had cataracts, and with a simple removal surgery he would see perfectly. The problem is, the surgery would cost $2000-$5000. Neither of my parents have that kind of money, and I can't bear to think that my dog would have to spend the rest of his life (he has a good 5+ years left in him), basically blind. His lack of vision has also made him depressed and embarrassed. He doesn't want to play or go for walks anymore, and he hides in shame after walking into things around the house. If you can spare anything to help pay for his surgery, it would be so appreciated. It's truly heartbreaking seeing him like this.

Single Mother Needs Assistance Re-establishing Home

Posted by outofdestitution on 2011-09-13 14:58:29

I am a single mother of two high school aged children (15 & 17) seeking immediate assistance to pay my debts, bills and secure affordable housing for my family again. We were displaced in April from our home of 5 years.

My family was involved in an automobile accident (not our fault, but thankfully no injuries)in January of this year in the only vehicle our family owns and while it is still drivable and in need of repair, I am still settling the outstanding claim (for the past 8 months) with the other person's insurance company who hit us, which includes fighting in court to recover damages.

Additionally, my income has dropped drastically due to loss of work and we are barely surviving on $500 a month.

Unforeseen hardships, deaths in our family, my childrens' education, lack of involvement from their father and other financial strains continue to take a huge toll on us and our ability to maintain a sustainable home. It seems bleak at times to feel as though we have no sense of real security in our lives. And, it serves only to divide us, which makes it even more difficult for any of us to stay together, focused, driven and motivated..

I am struggling to find sustainable employment to no avail and we had no choice except to move in with a family friend who is retired and living on a fixed income and struggling to save his home from foreclosure. Our combined contributions do not adequately cover the expense of managing the home, but there is little recourse to either of us at the moment to change the situation. We have only patched the situation, not repaired it. It still feels as though the boat is sinking....

I have never sought this type of assistance before and while it makes me feel extremely uncomfortable seeking this help, I feel I have no other choice but to BEG for immediate relief before something drastic happens to permanently alter our lives forever in ways I do not want to even imagine. I cannot allow what is happening to us (be it pride or pity) destroy our hope, my children and their vision for the future. We must turn our situation around to restore balance back into my family's life. Any generosity would be an eternal blessing...

Help Request for 28 Days & Counting

Posted by LovingAuntie on 2011-07-22 00:58:59

As I was writing on my niece’s behalf, I felt to submit a request of my own.

In April, my unemployment benefits were exhausted. May and June of this year found me without enough cash flow to pay my storage fees. However, beginning in late August, I will be receiving retirement benefits, which will allow me to once again maintain a balance until such time I am generating sufficient income to have a place of my own and permanently remove my possessions out of storage.

While I remain diligent in my efforts to secure employment, I am still unemployed and my deadline for paying off the balance of my storage fees is August 18, 2011 in the amount of $822.18 (including late, lock cutting, lien and other fees), incurred during the months of May to August.

The space holds my family’s lifetime of irreplaceable documents and other valuable and very useful practical possessions, representing for me a legacy of work and living I’ve accumulated and experienced these 62 years, and intend to use for at least another 30 years. Many of the books, art work and other one-of-a kind collections I plan to leave for my sons and grandsons.

Vision with me that $30.00 from 28 people is sent to me at least once daily doing it for me. So, if you find it in your heart to give, and your fiscal resources oblige, know that any and all amounts of monetary donations are humbly received and greatly appreciated. Thank you for your consideration and effort.

want to stay out of nursing home

Posted by istroked on 2011-07-10 00:58:32

I have been a quadriplegic since 2001, when I had a brainstem stroke at 36 years old. I cant move, and I use a computer and eye movement to speak. My mom took care of me until she died a year and a half ago. I spent the worst year of my life in a nursing home, where I was basically ignored, was away from my 17 year old Siamese cat and wasn't allowed to eat by mouth, only thrugh my feeding tube. A friend has helped me to get into my own place, with caregivers. I have been in my own place since Oct 2010, with my cat. I have great caregivers and I get to eat a meal a day by mouth. My friend helped pay for a lot of my bills that my SSI wouldnt cover, but she has lost her job and can't help me now. I wish I could work, I was an electrician before the stroke. I am trying to learn how to make money on-line, but my vision isn't great. I am a month behind on my electric, internet and water bills and am worried that I might have to go back to a nursing home. If anyone can help me I would be very thankful. Please contact me at istroked01@aol.com if you can help me. Thank you

I CAN'T SEE AND MY CHILDREN NEED DENTAL CHECK-UPS

Posted by PBJEmerson on 2011-07-04 16:58:52

I FOUND THIS WEBSITE TODAY OUT OF DESPERATION. IT'S VERY, VERY DIFFICULT FOR ME TO ASK FOR HELP; TO ADMIT I CAN'T TAKE CARE OF MYSELF AND MY CHILDREN ON MY OWN ANYMORE. BUT I TRULY NEED HELP NOW. I'VE BEEN GOING THROUGH A BAD DIVORCE FOR 5 YEARS NOW. IT'S BEEN SO DIFFICULT ON MY CHILDREN. THEY DIDN'T ASK FOR THIS AND THEY CERTAINLY DON'T DESERVE IT. WE HAD A NICE HOME AND GOOD JOBS, BUT MY KIDS BARELY REMEMBER THOSE DAYS. ALL THEY KNOW IS THE CONSTANT STRUGGLE TO COME UP WITH ENOUGH MONEY TO PAY FOR SCHOOL LUNCHES, SCHOOL SUPPLIES, FOOD...THINGS OTHER PEOPLE TAKE FOR GRANTED. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A JOB, BUT UNSUCCESSFUL BECAUSE I CAN'T SEE. IT'S GOING TO COST ME $200.00 FOR ANY EYE EXAM AND A SUITABLE PAIR OF GLASSES OR CONTACTS. I'M NEARSIGHTED AND MY VISION IS VERY POOR. IT'S UNSAFE FOR ME TO DRIVE, BUT I DO IT DURING THE DAY WHEN IT'S NECESSARY. IT'S IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO DRIVE AT NIGHT. MY TWO SONS ALSO NEED DESPERATELY TO GO TO THE DENTIST. THEY HAVEN'T BEEN IN 6 YEARS. MY OLDEST SON (HE'S 13) TOLD ME YESTERDAY HE IS HAVING PAIN AND LOSING A PART OF HIS GUM WHERE HIS WISDOM TEETH ARE COMING IN. IT WILL COST ME AT LEAST $200.000 EACH TO HAVE THEIR TEETH CLEANED AND X-RAYS. I KNOW THEY WILL ALSO NEED THEIR WISDOM TEETH REMOVED SOON. I DON'T WANT THEM TO BE IN THE SAME SITUATION THAT I'M IN...I'M 42 AND I STILL HAVE MY WISDOM TEETH. I HAVE A LOT OF PAIN SOMETIMES, BUT THE RISKS INVOLVED IN HAVING REMOVED ARE TOO GREAT.

Need Help Paying for Medical Equipment

Posted by lilysnana on 2011-05-19 22:58:32

I am writing on behalf of my mother, she is a 62 year old woman who worked hard all of her life with the belief that her government would be there to help her when she was in need.

That hasn't turned out to be the case. She is in desperate need of a prosthetic leg, she has been essentially cut off and told that she can't have a replacement leg or shoes because "it's too expensive". Her health has been failing over the years (she now has to have a cathether because her bladder has stopped working). She has very poor vision, can no longer drive and poor hearing and can't afford the cost of a $3,000 hearing aid. Other than myself (I am not able to afford these things for her), she has no family to help her and she wants so much to see her young granddaughter grow up.

She receives minimal disability and all she would like is to have the things she needs to survive.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Closet Project

Posted by ghostly on 2011-04-27 13:58:35

It's no secret, my closet is a disaster. Ten years ago, before my dad died, this was a project of ours we had started. The pole and shelf in my closet had fallen and the brackets had ripped out of the wall. It was our vision to take out the pole all together, that was clearly not going to work with all the weight of the clothes, and just redesign the inside of my closet where I had shelves going all the way up. I have a type of containers that I had my clothes in nice and neatly, one for shoes, and the rest of my stuff I keep in boxes. We had the idea that the shelves would be so much more convenient. Well, when my dad got sick with lung cancer, all of our ideas went on hold due to that he was just too sick. I have all my clothes in bags and just piled in my closet wherever they would fit. My request is simple, I need help with brackets to hold up shelves, and the shelves themselves. I will be more than happy with any help, the right size cut boards for shelves, sand paper, varnish, nails, a stud finder, any supplies I would be grateful to receive more than money to buy them with, but donations would be welcome. I added my PayPal. If you would like to help me with supplies, or if you are a builder who knows how I would measure or can suggest anything that could make my project a reality, I would appreciate any kind of help. This was something my dad and I started when he was alive. My heart would just like to see it completed. Thank you for reading.

Please Don't Lick the Art

Posted by belita on 2011-04-06 20:58:43

I'm just a typical Mom and teacher with a dream. I found the PERFECT location for a live-in Gallery/classroom space. It's in a down-town location of a low-income area even adorned with perfect flower box windows out front to welcome what I hope will be my new students! With an Art- Ed degree, a passion, and a dream- I want to share my vision with the low-income kids in my area to show them that they too can achieve their dream.

Now- what I need is 2,000 for closing costs on my dream home/studio space to give these kids (and my own) what they could really use- a space to create and grow!

Any help would be appreciated no matter how small!
But remember- please don't lick the art!

Disabled person fighting to get SSI

Posted by mrdenny1978 on 2011-03-18 11:58:13

Hello, I am a type 1 diabetic since birth and I am 32 years old. I have been fighting to get SSI because I have a number of complications of being diabetic. My vision is slightly affected. I wear high prescrption glasses. I have numerous other issues that are from having diabetes for a long time and they all prevent me from keeping a job. I've lost alot of jobs because I get sick too often and have to call in sick. I am always in pain to some degree from neuropathy and from having previous injuries to my back, knees and my shoulder. I still try doing little side jobs to keep up with bills but I am rapidly falling behind on everything. In order to advance my SSI case I need to find an attorney to help me out but most of the ones I found will either not take my case or require money up front with no refund if I cannot win. Please help me so I can keep lights, water, gas and an internet connection to keep in touch with my family who lives far away from me, thanks in advance... -Matt
