Hello to all and thanks for taking time to view my donation page. I'm 24 years old and I just saved up my last and moved to Nashville TN. I have a very promising future ahead with my music career in Audio Production. I'm in a very tight situation because I needed to get away from everybody slowing me down back home in Cleveland Ohio that does not want to see me succeed (including family, my 2 kids mothers, and people I thought were friends.) I've had opportunities at one point to make theme music for up and coming Disney, HGTV, ESPN and other shows just to name a few. Nobody really wanted to see me make it and help fund a Engineer so my dreams could become a reality. With the last of the money I was able to raise, I kissed my kids goodbye and moved to Nashville with a close friend from high school.
I figured that everything happens for a reason and prior to me moving, I found out that she has been out here in TN for almost a year with no furniture (bed, couch, dining-kitchen table) Its just her and her cat in a empty Apt. She has a job doing what she went to school for in the animal vet field but she's only recieving small pay. I know anything beats nothing but what is that for someone who graduated from WVU with a bachelors of science? She has Student loans to pay back to a actual bank, a car note, rent and utilities to pay for all on her own and her family is In Cleveland as well. They aren't fortunate to help the situation and anybody from Cleveland could understand why considering how the economy is.
Being a good friend(especially considering that im allergic to cats and there is no vaccume), I saved my last and moved down here because I figured I could help her as well as help myself. If we are going to struggle, we can struggle together. That's what true friends are for right? I have been here since Easter and it's still hard to adjust. She has a leased vehicle so im not really in the predicament to double up her mileage looking for jobs and going to school in it. Everything is so far apart here.I had intentions on going to school in the fall for Audio Production but one day i called a local school from one of the commercials and I ended up taking a tour the same day. I was so Excited to see the Music Studio that I wanted to start immediately!!! I then found out that I started school the very next month (May 7th to be exact.)
Now I have to find a job to go around my school schedule which is only 3 days a week but Im having trouble figuring out how I will even get to school. The bus system is different than back in Cleveland. In Cleveland, schools give students bus passes and they even get discounted prices for being students. Here is definitely not like that. I'm not complaining because I'm blessed to at least be away from all of the distraction and I'm enrolled into school. Now I'm just worried as to what it will take for us to be comfortable for a change.
I eat ramen noodles and Vienna sausages just about everyday to make food here last. I'm not complaining at all but I'm sure that after while i will start to get sick from this. The noodles have high sodium as well. Just barely making it is an experience that isn't fun and I wish this upon nobody. This is why I'm turning to a donation community.

Things all donations will go towards:

Food for home, Bus passes for my schooling, Furniture for our apartment (I'm seeing alot we can get for less locally on Craigslist), Internet so I can stay active with my production, More Music Equipment (the equipment is so expensive but im in the right state to get it used) and eventually a vehicle so I could get us around and not worry about my roommate going over her mileage.

Seems like I'm asking for a lot but I grew up knowing that everything happens for a reason and that prayer goes a long way. Somebody I met in passing recommended this site hearing me talk about my situation to a relative. Thanks in advance and even 1 dollar is appreciated.

I've never been more uncomfortable asking for anything. I always felt ashamed. My mother once told me, it's how you view yourself, and that you shouldn't feel bad or ashamed. Well for me asking for help from people I do not know makes it hard. August 18th of 2012, I will be getting married, first wedding, and Im happy! Unfortunately, my fiance and I need help. I won't go into the total of the wedding, only b/c we both work and are trying to go it alone. When I purchased this home back in 2004 after finally getting away from an extremely abusive marriage, all I could see was that the price was right and that I would finally be safe - hundreds of miles away from my now ex-husband. As a single mother of 3 children on a limited income, I saw how I would be able to live completely mortgage and rent free. I didn't however see the major repairs that this house required - nor did I have the money to make such repairs. Over time, of course things got worse - and it brings me up to the point of where I am today.

The roof on this house is so badly deteriorated that it is leaking very badly in the downstairs bathroom, dining room, kitchen and front door areas. It has leaked so badly that now mold has started to form in the bathroom ceiling and the drywall has slowly been falling away on the one wall. The slightest wind and you will find shingles blown off and laying on the ground. The roof is so bad that I am fearful that even the boards underneath the shingles may need to be replaced.

Realize that this is my last resort in trying to come up with the funds required to get this new roof. I have tried applying to government grants for home improvement but unfortunately I do not qualify because 1. my property taxes are not paid up to date (I owe approximately $2000 just in property taxes), and 2. the size of the house is larger than the specified guideline parameters. Nor do I qualify for a loan of any sort as 1. I make a mere $200 a month working and 2. have bad past credit (being a single mom has taken some serious tolls on me - including financially!).

So the goal here is to get a new roof installed - and as soon as possible so that any further damage to the house is avoided. I also worry about the mold forming in the bathroom especially and one day the roof caving in in there. While my children have grown to teenagers now, I still have to worry about their health.

I have uploaded pictures and this story at Chip-In to show you the extent of the damage done especially in the bathroom area - and a view of the shingles as they are right now on the roof. Admittedly I realize that my house also needs some repair on the stucco, windows and such but right now my main concern is the roof. I'm surprised it hasn't caved in on me by now.

Hi, I am aspiring to be a music producer. About two years ago I decided that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life, which is why I spend so much time practicing, every spare minute I have is spent learning new aspects of audio production. I'm so dedicated to this, all I wan't to do is produce music.

I still feel that my skills are lacking in a few different areas, so last year I started sending out applications to studio's around the UK, the replies that I got stated that I need a degree in Audio Production to be able to work in a recording studio. So since last year I have been searching for an institute to study at and found an amazing place to study called SAE Institute in Liverpool. The course is a 2 year BA/BSc (Hons) Degree in Audio Production, and after the course ends you are prepared for work in any sector of the audio production industry, from music production to live sound and broadcast, post production for film, video and TV. So there are many different roots I would be able to go down if I was lucky enough study there.

I have managed to save £4000 up to now, however, the fee's and living expenses amount to around £29,000, (this is a link to view the living expensis http://www.saeuk.com/downloads/FeeSchedule(Combined)Liverpool.pdf) Unfortunately, I cannot get funding for the course and a bank loan is not available to me but by the time the course starts on 07/10/2012 I will hopefully have saved around another £4000.

After looking for ways to generate the funds I need to be able to study at SAE I came across this website, I think it's an amazing way to help someone out who is in need. I'm just really hopefull that there will be someone out there who has been in the same situation as I am now, who know's how it feels to wan't something so bad that it hurts. Stated Goal: $2,000.00 (by March 21st, 2012) for tuition, books and some new pants to get my academic career going... Breakdown of $1,288.33 for tuition/fees, approximately $400.00 in textbooks/supplies for the quarter, and the remainder for some pants and necessary travel expenditures for the first month of school.

I know you have many options with where your hard-earned money goes - some may make you feel GREAT about shedding a few pounds in the wallet, and others will leave you feeling downright dirty. I know this, because I was once in your shoes; money in my wallet, left only to my vices as to where to spend it. I never felt right about just handing it over to someone who, in my opinion, would merely go drink it away, drug it away, etc. It's funny how life throws these things all back into your face sometimes, and as such I find myself in need and hoping that the right person(s) will have the faith to invest in me - that's right, I said INVEST.

I don't believe in a handout, but I DO believe that sometimes we fall a bit harder than we are prepared to do and as such are put into situations that we neither expected nor are comfortable with. I opened a business that was going rather well for its first 7 months of operation. Then, through an anonymous post from someone online that "appeared" to be from my company, me and my business partner got black-balled from the industry (VERY political/bureaucratic in that particular industry). When this went under, though, it took me and everything I own with it - my vehicle, my home and much of my personal belongings. Prior to that, I spent 11 years on active duty military status in order to protect and serve this country. Yes, I've earned the G.I. Bill and fully intend to use it for its designed purpose. TheMy defining issue, however, is that the Bill pays for school on a month-to-month basis, at the END of each month of training. For example, my school begins this April 2nd so I cannot claim my benefits until the end of April, which will cause my first G.I. bill payment to get sent out in early May. The school, however, requires payment up-front and as explained above, I currently do not have the capital to get started. Once I've started, the Bill will sustain me, therefore I merely ask for assistance in getting the first quarter of classes paid, including books. I have a great academic history, and this is truly where I excel. My purpose is to some day acquire a PhD in pharmaceutics and do research to find new and improved medications for the benefit of the masses.

As for the pants, I have two pairs remaining and both have holes in the legs and crotch. While these DO technically work for all intents and purposes, it gets a bit breezy on these cold days and nights, and is probably unsightly (at best) to any of my would-be professors who may not appreciate an instructor's-eye-view of these things. As such, I figure I might like to buy a couple of pairs prior to matriculation.

I have been fostering feral cats in my rented home for about a year. They are desperately hungry pitiful creatures and I provide them with food, beds, blankets and shelters on the property. Now my landlord has decided he wants to sell the home and refuses to renew the lease. We are hoping to raise enough money to be able to buy the house and stay in the home. If we have to leave the property then these poor creatures will be lost and abandoned once again. We have been able to bring in some of the kittens but most of them are ferals and they are not adoptable. Their only hope for survival is to continue to come to us for food and shelter. We spend all the spare money we have to feed them and we just do not have the funds to put a down payment on the house. These cats have come to view the home as a place to eat and sleep and feel safe. So much so that one of them was out and got hit by a car. In the middle of the night with a broken hip she managed to crawl her way back to our house where we are currently nursing her back to health. We feel so guilty abandoning them since they have come to depend on our sanctury and wil be lost and miserable if we move. Please please I appeal to all you animal lovers to help us raise enough money to buy the home and take care of these precious creatures who have been completely abandoned to the world. We are their only salvation. Please help our time is very limited.

Ok..I really hate doing this but I feel like I have no other option. Let me first explain my position. I am a second year computer science student, last year I became the sole provider for my two younger siblings, one of whom has a serious medical condition. Things have been very, very tight but we just make ends meet with me working two partime jobs, while squeezing in my studies. The problem I now face is that my computer decided to spectaculary kick the bucket at the beginning of the year. I really have tried everything to either fix my old computer or find a way to replace it. The most cost effective solution I came up with is to buy a second hand system. The thing is I need at least $80 and no matter how hard I try to rebudget I can't get hold of this amout in anything close to the time I need to.

I kindly ask that if anyone feels if they can help me out, could you please lend me this amount to my Skrill(MoneyBookers) account durmonte@yahoo.com . I really feel debased at having to write this but I feel determined to consider any help that I may recieve as loans since I feel deeply commited to paying them back with interest. all the boys clothes are actually mens size I guess. Nothing crazy, straight up jeans, from 31/31-34/34. All worn once or twice due to a growth spurt. Printers all good condition, need ink. have a couple small tvs, good for bedrooms. Lots of vhs tapes and cassette tapes. Also have an amazing quality poto equipment someone gave me to sell to pay for bills, but having trouble finding correct place to go-its a toyo view large format.

I am suffering from diabetes, depression, giddiness, backache, tension headache, anxiety, high cholesterol and on daily medication. I have no money to see Doctor for a medical check-up and medicines as I need the medicines urgently due to my daily medication have finished. It is very dangerous to stop taking medicines for the chronic diseases. My age, 59 years old, unemployed due to poor health.

My only son is living with me and his age, 33 years old, unemployed due to poor health. He is suffering from asthma, high cholesterol and eczema and on daily medication. Every time he went out, he have to bring along his inhale. He wish to study the University of London (UOL) Diploma in law for full time course in April, 2012. He was told to pay his school fee $12,700 to ITC and UOL now in order for him to attend the said class at ITC next year April 2012. Appreciate if you can help him.

My wife was separated from me since 2009 living us in the lurch.

I am asking for help so I can pay off my bills and loans. I have taken out loans upon loans in trying to get caught up in my debts, but it seems I am falling deeper and deeper into a hole. I just had my car engine blow up on me and I need money to fix this. Last week the loan car I was using the transmission went bad. And atop of this I owe money to family members. Is just one thing after other. This is my last resort and I am just asking all of you that view my site to just donate $1 or anything that you can afford. I am not a greedy person and I know every little bit helps. I have two children ages 13 & 5 and I have no college education funds set up for them and this is one of my goals to do in the future. My name is Clarence Tracy I’m 24 and live in FL. I got hurt at work after a few 2 months they finally got me to a specialist. After a few moments of talking to him and he taking a quick look at my injury. He told me to get some more test and sent me on my way. He didn’t give me any paper work and I went home. I was in so much pain that I wasn’t thinking right at the time. I also had medical transport waiting for me. I get home and am waiting for an email form the workers comp to get my apt. The email doesn’t come I see that I also didn’t get a workers comp check. So I emailed my lawyer and I didn’t get a response so I got on the phone Google Voice because we don’t have a phone. I called workers comp and talked to the guy. He told me that the doctor released me on full duty. I said okay so, and told him that i had apts to go to and he said. The doctor didn’t send any request for that, So i have the feeling that they are screwing with me. I’m still hurt the pain hasn’t gone a way. I don’t know what this doctor is thinking. I have asked for a new doctor 3 weeks ago. No answer back!, I also have tried to get back to work but they are giving me the runaround “O well i have to talk to this person and this person has to talk to this person” and so on. I am now not getting any workers comp checks no medical and no work. The law firm that i have my lawyer threw is a really good for worker comp cases. I just cant get a hold of my lawyer. Not for a lack of trying mind you, so here I am I have 2 step kids and a wife. She is trying to get a job but its hard. She was a stay at home mom when i was working. We get 117 a week for children support but that is not close to half our bills. We have $100 electric $40Gas and $650rent, we have a $47 internet bill but that is so we can have a phone and able to try and find help/ talk to my lawyer and worker comp. I am at the end of my rope I don’t know what we are going to do and I’m really depressed about the money and not being able to do every thing that i could before I got hurt, and still no pain meds. to deal with the pain I’m taking aspren right now but I’m on the last few pills. I have started to sell off my things. I really need help I don’t know what to do or what the out come of this is going to be. I just don’t feel like this is worth it any more and if I cant pay for my kids to have a good life then what worth am I? Hi. I cant believe I;m begging online. I expect no response to this, but view it as a place to vent. Good things just haven't happened to me for a long time. Here I go anyway... I am writing because I am in desperate need for help. I am a 35 year old single dad with a 9 year old daughter. Let me begin by explaining my situation. My former employer, in the building supply industry, went out of business a few years ago. The economy has not rebounded making building industry jobs scarce. I have since then put myself through schooling to become an emergency medical technician as I stand a chance at getting hired by my local fire department if the economy improves. I am aiming for a career change to get back into the work force. I had to change careers for economic as well as health reasons. Shortly after my company went out of business, I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, a debilitating disease affecting the digestive tract. The disease caused me to lose 75 lbs (30% of my body mass) in 8 months. I have been proactive in drastically changing my diet and getting the proper medical care and medicine (Thank God for Medicaid).
Even with medical care, I am still sick every day but I am making the disease more manageable. I applied for disability and received a response back that my condition is indeed disabling, preventing me from working, but would resolve in a year. Hopefully it does, but it is classified as an incurable disease that leads to repeated surgeries in 75% of the patients diagnosed with the disease. On the flip side of that statistic is a growing hope that alternative therapies may work… but take time to custom tailor to the individual. They are also expensive and not covered by Medicaid or private sector insurance. I have spoken to a disability attorney who is ready to represent me if necessary. I am only seeking disability as my “Plan B” if all else fails. I want to become a productive member of society again. I do have a “Plan A”, but I have a LOT of obstacles ahead of me.
This has all had a devastating effect on my finances. Last summer my gas was turned off the day after my daughter’s heart surgery. The gas was turned back on based on medical necessity. As of this week, my gas is turned off again and LIHEAP cannot assist me. I can’t seem to ever have the “Timing” right to get assistance. My electric is also on the verge of being shut off. My home is in foreclosure but the bank has agreed to work with me if I can find employment fast. I have just received a job offer that I graciously accepted. I start in a week. Just before receiving the job offer, while biking with my daughter, I had a mini stroke which caused me to go unconscious while riding. I crashed, broke my ribs, clavicle, hurt my spine, bruised my brain and lung, received several stitches, etc.. I pray that my health stabilizes to allow me to work. My daughter lives with me in this house. I would like to save it from foreclosure mainly for her sake. It’s where she has grown up. It’s a few blocks from her school where I want to keep her. My adopted 9 year old daughter, who I love a lot, has a very difficult speech impediment and learning disability. She already has special education and speech therapy in place with professionals that have worked with her for many years and know her needs. It would be very difficult to have to move away and have to make her start over in another school. I love my daughter a lot and will do anything to provide for her a life that she deserves… with my own limited resources. I say all that to illustrate “in short” that I need help. I have asked relatives and friends for help throughout the year and they are “Tapped”. My church is also in the same situation. I have sold most of my possessions to afford my phone bill, auto insurance, and auto fuel. My daughter and I currently have Medicaid and SNAP food assistance.
My goals are to:
1) I need to rebuild my professional wardrobe. I have lost a lot of weight and consequently have been working on buying dress clothes for my new job. I am to wear solid black suits. I am a 44L with a 38” Waist and 34” Inseam. Size 14 Black oxford shoes. I will graciously accept presentable used items. I can buy 3 inexpensive nice black suits for $80 each. $50 for shoes.
2) I have to keep going to my doctors and maintain and improve my health. I have just been referred off for advanced level care. The travel expenses are going to be very high. I will have to stay overnight in a hotel somehow for some procedures.
3) I will have to afford to drive to work. I will have to keep myself insured and afford the initial cash outset for my first 2-3 weeks of work. I am traveling far to work and it will cost me about $125 a week in fuel. $60/ month in insurance.
4) I have to get my gas turned back on. I am looking at having to come up with an impossible $5000 to get it turned back on.
5) I just bought and installed an used electric water heater and dryer. I have no way as of yet to heat my house this winter.
6) I have to catch up on my $1500 electric bill. Hopefully I can do so or I will have to abandon my house and give up hope. I may have to move to a different state with different utility companies.
7) If I can accomplish the above goals in a short amount of time, I stand a very strong chance at getting my mortgage modified and staying in my home. I can then only have to worry about the basics of life in addition to my health and my daughter’s heart and special needs.
I am facing some tough challenges. I cannot do it on my own. I have nowhere to turn. I would appreciate any assistance or advice on where to go for assistance.

First of all let me begin to say that I am not a begging person. This is killing me to do this, but I have no other options right now but to ask for ANY donations from fellow Canadians/Americans.
My Name is Sean Coutlee and my wife's name is Penny Coutlee, I am 44 and she is 46 years old. We were married June 7th of 2010 in Hamilton Ontario Canada and my wife has been up here with me now for 17 months since we have been married. She is originally from Alabama and we both want to get home to her parents ( which I have still yet to meet ) who live in Falkville, Alabama. My wife draws Social Security Disability through the states which is barely over $600 per month and right now I am in between jobs making what I can to make ends meet. Funds for both of us to take the 1400 miles trip to go to Alabama is well beyond what we can afford. and I am asking anyone who has a heart to please make any donation to help me get my wife back home to Alabama to see her parents and also get the medical treatment my wife is overdue for since she is a Diabetic and has Diabetes Neuropathy. My wife speaks to them on the phone when she can, but her heart aches to want see them in person, hold them and know that she is once home again, because she really doesn't know how long her parents will be around. My Story
This campaign is to help me achieve my goal of attending college at Ringling College of Art & Design.

I am an artist that loves to paint, digital paint, draw, and be creative. Since I was in elementary school I was interested in art. In high school I was in Art Honor Society, Business Professionals of the World, DECA, and Art Club. After high school my dream was to attend an art college for Game Art & Design. I applied to Ringling and got accepted which was the best thing that ever happened to me. So that I can better myself and become a professional in the Game Industry. Coming from a family that is low on funds it is hard for me to attend school and pay for supplies for each class. I apply for financial aid but I always have a huge gap left over that needs to be payed. I want to continue my studies at Ringling college and become something great so that I can help my family and be successful. Both my parents do not have good enough credit to take out huge loans for school which is why I am making this campaign to help me on my path to becoming a professional artist. Please help by donating anything you can. Even a dollar can help and it will add up!

If the campaign doesn't come through I may not be able to attend my second year of college. As a full time student it will be hard for me to work and attend school. I will have to work while attending school to try and afford payments on tuition if I do not reach my goal.


With the money I receive I am going to give it to my school to pay for tuition for this year. If I can at least raise $2,200 I can work on making payments for the rest of the tuition cost. Anything will help bring the balance down for tuition this year at Ringling College of Art & Design.
