When you were younger, did you ever dream about how life would be when you got older, that moment when you would finally be independent? My dream is to make the most out of my 21st birthday and to make up for the 21st birthday party my boyfriend never had.

Of course, there is one problem: I am a broke college student and my boyfriend is a broke college graduate. . .With the high prices of hotels, flights, and, of course, Vegas gambling, it is nearly impossible for a college student on financial aid and a recent grad in today's job market to enjoy Las Vegas on their own pockets.

That is where, hopefully, you come in. Dreams do cost money. After creating a budget, I have calculated that, in order to fulfill my dream, I will have to raise around $2500.

I am so embarrassed that I have no other avenue to turn to, and believe me when I say that my entire being depends upon have a way out of this jam. It happened three months ago when I moved back to Las Vegas because I couldn't find a job in AZ. A friend of mine offered to let me stay on his couch until I could find a job and I thought things were gonna turn around for me at last. Days turned to weeks and weeks into months and still no job. Anyway after 4 months my welcome had worn out and my "friend" said I needed to find somewhere else to live or if I wanted, he could get me some side work to pay rent. I of course, accepted. Two nights later, he called and told me to meet him at an address by the airport and I could make $250 in one night. When I arrived, I was told that I would be sucking off about 10 guys and allow them to anally penetrate me - I had little choice in the matter and allowed these men, some with enormous penises to use me at some points in the evening, 2 and three at a time. By 6am I was violated every way possible - that's when my friend walked up to me and forced me to lick his butthole and swallow his juices in front of everyone. It turns out that they filmed the whole thing and now I need $2500.00 to buy the video or it will be put on the internet. So please help me and save my life.

I am a single mom that just makes it each month. I have 3 kids at home and work hard o give them a place to live, food and clothing. I rent a house that is "as is". I did not know all the problems in the house when we moved in. We went through a summer in Las Vegas with no A/C and are facing a winter with no working heater. I had to pay over $700 to have a pipe fixed and now have a huge water bill because of it. I have to pay $262.58 by 6 pm tomorrow or we will lose our water. I have started photography about 2 years ago, and it has grown to be my passion. I am looking to open up a photo gallery with some of my photos in San Diego, California, to bring more art and culture to people. My family and I are moving there from Las Vegas to start a new chapter.

The money would be used to buy new camera equipment and operational money to run and market the gallery.

My wife and I like to give our time to help people, so part of the sales will go towards, children with mental and physical disabilities. There is a place down here in Las Vegas called: Opportunity Village. If you Google it, it will give you an idea of the great things the people are doing for these disadvantaged kids. And I would like to contribute to things like that through my photography.

My only daughter is getting married in Vegas where she lives, I live in Toledo Ohio and cannot afford to fly there, let alone help pay for the wedding. it is in Novemeber, any donations would be greatly appreciated.All donations will help me to get there, help with the wedding and get back home.

First off,I am not an addict.I do not drink,smoke,or do any drugs.I am ablebodied and willing to work(desperate for it,in fact!)but despite all my efforts I have not been able to work for 2 and a half years.I sleep under a freeway bridge.I find my food in trash cans.I am typing this on a computer I use at the library.Despite knowing how to survive with no money all I want is to work again and have an actual life like i used to.

Let me explain.In 2008 my marriage broke up and with no reason to stay where I was,I moved to Las Vegas in the hopes of finding a job with the casino industry.The week I did so my out of state ID expired and it took me 2 YEARS to get Social Services to help me get my birth certificate!One complication after another delayed it and until I produced that I could not legally work anywhere!No one would hire me.

Finally I got the birth certificate and my ID and made it to my final destination,my old hometown of Anaheim CA,only to find out the job market is even worse here than it was in Vegas.Here I now finally have the documentation but I can't find a job!

I am limited in what I can do because I do not drive(I can but have never had a license or my own vehicle;even when I was working I never needed it!)nor can I commute.No bus money means I can only apply to places I can physically get to!

I do not have good clothes or shoes for interviews nor do I have a phone number that a prospective employer can reach me at so if I don't get hired in the interview I don't get hired.

I don't need a big job.I'm happy with staying at my camp.I just need something small,part time so I can afford to go back to college and finish my degree.I have a scholarship but until I get SOME income I can't even afford to register(I need a local ID to do even that!)

I am deeply ashamed of my situation.I don't want to beg in the streets and I use every cent to try and keep myself and my clothes as presentable as possible for jobhunting but I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.I don't look like a beggar so no one will help me.Yet I don't look presentable ENOUGH(or smell presentable enough,believe me,a much harder problem to solve!)for most jobs.

I am desperate,desperate for something to change.I need help.I can't get out of this situation alone.

There are three ways you could help that would do the most good:

1.Gift cards to stores like Wal-Mart or Target,locations that have both clothing and hygiene items.
2.A check.I do have the ability to cash a check provided your bank is in my area.My only ID is out of state but still valid until 2014.It's the one I finally got after 2 years of trying!
3.An actual cash donation of any amount whatsoever.I only list this because the only way to widen my search radius for jobs is to be able to commute.Actual money is the only way i know of to pay bus fare or do laundry since I don't have a credit card.

I go out every day in search of work but without someone helping me I don't know how long I can keep going.I can't get unemployment(I haven't worked in so long).And i don't want to move because I have shelter from rain and a constant food supply where I am at.But really anything that anyone can do...!

I moved to the Las Vegas area almost two months ago for school. I made the move using the only money that I had, but the idea of getting a bachelor's made using that money worth it. Since I got here, I've been turning in job application after job application, still nothing. I was just going to deal with having no funds until I found a job.. but finding a job is going so horribly. Now to forget about myself.. My roommate is needing a $5000 surgery, or there is a good chance of her going blind in the next year. We're artists; she's going to school for a degree in graphic design and has one year until she's finished. If she goes blind.. so goes her current future. I've heard her cry when she thinks no one is listening.. it pains me knowing that I can't help her and her family won't. My point is.. I will forget myself, just to help her. I've gone hungry before. Compared to being blind.. I'm SURE it's nothing.
So I implore. There must be someone out there with enough kindness to help me help my roommate

My husband and I have been married for 5 years. We put off a honeymoon at the time of our wedding because we really couldn't afford any kind of vacation. Five years later, we have an opportunity to take a short trip to Las Vegas, but still feel the modest costs of a rental car from California to Vegas and 2 nights in a hotel are beyond our means. With mountains of student loan debt, we are really scrounging to have an opportunity to take some time to enjoy each other without our small child! Any amounts of money would help us get there. I'm on unemployment and my savings has vanished.
Am part of a union and since Mr President has been misunderstood everytime he opened his mouth regarding Las Vegas the work picture here has gone down hill.
Getting far behind on my rent, made a partial payment for last month but now the new month is approaching and still dont have the remaining for last month and the upcoming months rent. It sucks.
