I have recently graduated from university, living on next to nothing and commuting. I have drawn up vast debts to be able to finish my degree. During recent months of not being able to find work, I have increased my debt and unable to afford my rent, falling increasingly behind. I only have a part time job to try and make ends meet, unsuccessfully. I have signed up for the army but will not start until the end of this year. £1000 will sort out my whole life get me on the right track. I am recently divorced. As part of the divorce agreement I agreed to assume the vast majority of our marital debt. My ex has residential custody of our four children and therefore I pay her child support which equates to 40% of my net pay. On top of that I was ordered to pay her $1000 a month in maintenance for the next four years. Depending on how much overtime I get in a month, I currently give my ex between 60 and 75% of my take home pay. My monthly minimum credit card payments are $540. Some months after I pay my wife,credit cards, and car insurance. I don't even have the money to cover the bare necessities in life for myself. I am forced to rely on the good nature of my family. I am not capable of providing for myself and have not had much luck in finding a second job.

My current amount of credit card debt that I have assumed is $18,000. I do not want to file bankruptcy as I always want to honor my debts. I also don't like asking for charity. However I am a charitable person and have always given when someone is in need. I am turning to the good nature of my fellow Americans and asking for help. Please, anything you can offer will be greatly appreciated. When I can pay it forward I certainly will.

We were one of the ones who lost there house in this mess,the job i was working was gone.I started working for myself doing home repairs, digging in the trash to find junk metal to cash in.Then we lost everything in a fire. Got back out there and kept on trying. since then i have become disabled and am wait to hear from ssdi. The lawyers say it could be 2012 before i know if i will get money. I dont care, I would rather work.
Saved our tax return to pay bills but that just ran out. I sell my plasma sometimes but that is not something you can do all the time. We have 3 girls that are growing out of their clothes,Electric is due,house payment,etc. I have nothing left to sell and not sure what to do. I found this on a google search for help. I have a vast knowledge of home and auto repair. At the very least if you are reading this and I can help you with some advice on repairs give me a shout and I will help you save money.

I am a college student studying anthropology abroad in Spain for my last semester before graduating. Being as I come from a family of limited means, my trip here was only made possible due to the promise of financial aid in the form of federal grants. Upon my arrival in September, I was promised a certain stipend from the university which was to be paid to me in installments, and I budgeted accordingly. about 5 months into my stay, I was told that the original figure I had been promised was a mistake, and that I would be receiving no more financial aid for the rest of the school year. I have been trying my best to find work in madrid, but because I am not a citizen of europe, it is nearly impossible to do. My family has given me all the financial support that they can afford, but being as our house burnt down this past year, a vast majority of their very limited income has gone towards dealing with the after affects of having lost our home.
My flight home is scheduled for mid June but I do not have the financial resources to make it through to the end of my stay. If I leave now, I would need the money to pay for a flight change, which I barely have. This would also require that I drop out of school, ONE semester short of graduating. It has always been my dream to visit the USA, and when the opportunity to go on a school trip to see the sights of New York City and Washington DC the opportunity was just too good to miss.
