I'm a Little Short on Cash
Posted by TheFuzzyTomcat on 2012-05-01 17:58:51
I honestly don't know how to say this. I mean, I know my situation is unusual, even bizarre.
Let's start simply. I'm a young real estate agent. I suck at it, so I work part time at two places in the mall. It's hard to keep it all under control, but I manage. I'd rather work six days a week than have a roommate. Really, though, I would get a roommate to ease up a little more money before I'd even consider begging, but fate has conspired against me. I now have two roommates who can't pay - my dwarf parents.
Yes, yes, I know. My father and my mother are little people. I'm a normie, though. My dad lost his job at Intel as a system administrator and so has accumulated a lot of debt. You could say he's up to his eye-balls, but that would be hardly sufficient. He wanted to postpone boarding in my house for as long as possible, but this is, it seems, how it has to be.
So, I'm majorly strapped for cash constantly, because I've become responsible for two other people. They need rides, and they need food, and it's costing me a lot on utilities. I've been dipping into my meager savings for the past two months. I've been doing nothing but work, and I just need a break. I want to sit down and drink a good cup of coffee with a girl, or read a book, you know? I don't want to just slowly keep dying, I want to live.
We all want to live, and so I'm asking you share just a little, just enough for a little extra strength of spirit against a cold, crazy world. Every cent is appreciated. =D

Please help Ava!

Ava is our adorable pup that we adopted through the
Penny Foundation. Ava is a rescue dog from Mexico. She has filled our
lives with joy and happiness. Ava turned one year old in February. She
is a very active, playful pup who is full of life. A month ago, the exuberant Ava was playing in our backyard. She slipped, and ripped a
tendon in her right hind leg. Upon initial vet exam, she was deemed
fine. However, the condition persisted and she refused to play or go
for walks (VERY unusual for Ava). We took her to a different vet a week
later, and the diagnosis came in â Ava would require surgery. There was
no other option. The injury would not heal on its own. The vet told us
that Avaâs breed is prone to this type of injury. We were very sad to
hear this, as Ava is so young and the surgery would require two months
of recovery time. The surgery is also expensive â $3000 minimum. My
husband and I are not rich people, and are therefore trying to raise
some money to go towards Avaâs surgery. Any amount will help. We want
Ava to make a full recovery, and get back to her normal, fun, playful
puppy lifestyle. The vet told us the prognosis after surgery is very
good, and that Ava should return to full function. Please help Ava.
Thank you!

Hardworking female needs a loan not a handout desperately!!!
Posted by toseemydream on 2012-02-25 05:58:47
My request is unusual in that I am willing to sign documents to repay funds loaned to help me get out of debt and start my own personal concierge business. I need US 50,000.00 to pay off debt, buy a used car and market my business.
I am a 42 year old single black female. I have had to support my mother and pay for my brothers funeral and then I lost my job last year. My savings are depleted and I have several personal loans from friends to repay and I have no security for a loan but have excellent references and experience and am a very hard worker.
A handout would be great but the opportunity to earn my way from anyone who has been able to fulfill their dream and can help would be a godsend.
I have bought the lottery tickets, applied for jobs, prayed and now this. There are two other options which are worse than international begging so why not try these first ?
Can you help me please?

hi there!
i am asking for help to buy myself a new wig! unusual request i know but it makes life completely different for me!
i have suffered with alopecia since i was 4, it is a hair loss condition, since getting older and more conscious of my looks i started wearing wigs to feel more feminine and confident in my apperance. however for a descent wig it costs about £700 i make one last for a whole year before buying a new one, previous years i have had help from family and when i was younger the nhs. but i am now 21 and facing another year of trying to find the extra cash for a new wig. i work full time but my wage just seems to meet the bills each month and not alot more. like every young person i am trying my best to save for a house, car and all the usual things. but it is so hard in this climate. any help even if it were $1 would be so appreciated! as a girl it is the worst thing to loose your hair, wearing wigs is a savier to me, so thankyou so very much!

Surgery Correction
Posted by rosed1x on 2012-01-09 23:58:50
I was born with an endocrine disorder. At puberty my symptoms started to appear. 14 years ago I underwent surgery to correct a breast deformity. Unfortunately my right side was left scarred and with the need of more surgery. I have never had enough money to go back for correction. I'm self conscious about it and hide it, but I'd like to go swimming and have never been able to because it's noticeable. I know there are other causes to donate to, but that's why I placed this under unusual requests. I don't have any relatives and my medical conditions have me on SSDI. Can you help? Even if it's a nickel at a time?
Overwhelmed

My wife, two kids and I are lucky to still have a house over our heads. For now that is. We are overwhelmed, as many are these days, with a mountain of debt that is never-ending. We will never see the light of day without help. Our story is not unusual but we ask for your help to begin digging out of this hole. Anything would help! Please do what you can if you are able! Thank you and God bless.
Huge Medical Bills are Sinking Our Family
Posted by BrownFamily on 2011-11-04 19:58:39
We are a family in crisis in so many ways it's hard to know where to begin. My husband was hurt on the job over ten years ago, and recieves no compensation or medical help. Our daughter was a passenger in a rollover wreck this summer and we now have over $50,000. in medical bills. Our other daughter was bitten by a deer tick and has second stage Lyme disease. The medical bills are mounting. We are uninsured, because we are married. We were told if we divorce, our kids can get medical care from the state! We won't do that, of course, but it makes us sad and frustrated that so much in on us, and we can't get help because we are married. Right now we are behind in every area possible...rent, about to lose our car, driving with no auto insurance, need winter coats, you name it, we need it. We're just an average family, with unusual problems. If you can help us we would appreciate it so much. We have been known to help others when times were better for us, and it never occurred to us that we would need someone else now. Thank you.

Please help our son
Posted by beroc on 2011-10-30 20:58:02
My son was home schooled on his last year in high school. He applied to the University of Alaska and was accepted and also was granted financial aid. Being a home school grad, he was required to take a test or GED. He opted to take the test so I agreed to send him to Alaska but he failed it by 2 points. Then he decided to take the GED and attend class Spring 2012. One day when he dropped his friends at school, he was stopped by a policeman (i don't know what for) and then was taken to the police station and detained for questioning for at least 8 hours. He asked to speak to a lawyer 2x but no lawyer was provided and they stopped talking to him. While detained, the police searched his apartment, truck, took his laptop, and cell phone. His apartment and his truck did not have any of the items they were looking for. They released him and 20 minutes later they arrested him. The only evidence the police have so far is that one of defendants also being accused of the same crime stated that my son was involved. This other defendant, come to find out has a record of stealing. My son insist that he did not do this crime and he is innocent and that he was not even in the area when the crime happened. He has an attorney now and has taken a look at my sonsâ case. So far the DA has a photo of his truck at a gas station near his apartment at 6 P.M. This is not unusual since this is where buys his diesel fuel. The crime happened between 10-45-11:00 P.M. after the store closed. This is all the evidence so far. I am writing to beg you for a donation to bail out my son until his court date. We are asking donation for the following: his bail is $40,000 which we need $4000 cash and we are putting up our house as collateral for the remaining $30,000. The lawyer fee is $7500 and our balance is $2400. In addition to the bail, court also requires a third party custodian before an inmate can be released on bail. A custodian is someone who will watch over my son 24/7. My husband, daughter and I will be his third party custodians and we will fly to Alaska and set up another household. We need the 3 of us to be custodians because we also have another son who is a senior in high school and we the parents both want to attend his graduation. When we get there, we will go to my sons bond hearing and also for approval of third party custodian. My husband and I will alternate every 30 days so we can see both our sons. When my youngest son graduates, my daughter will be the custodian while we attend the graduation. We also need approximately $3500 for living expense until I get my first check from work. I have secured employment in Alaska and my son will also look for and secure employment. He has been in jail since Sept 20,2011 and we want to bail him out on Nov. 4, 2011. Total donation we are asking for $9900.00. s Can you find it in your heart to donate money to help us?

Lost job, need help until things get better
Posted by stonedog57 on 2011-07-01 07:58:59
I was laid off from my job on Aug 13, 2008 and have been trying to find work since then. I've sent out 100's of resumes and made 100's of cold calls but have yet to secure an interview, much less a job. I've never been out of work this long since I was 15 years old. The job market for those of us over 50 is very tough. I've already gone through 99 weeks of unemployment compensation and have been living off savings. I have yet to miss a payment on anything but the money is getting low and I'm going to have to sell the house. When,or if, the house sells me and my dog have no where to go. I won't give up my dog, she is a dear part of my family and my great companion.
I have been helping out my two brothers who live in Florida, one who has several severe medical problems, and that has also put a financial strain on me. I've told them I can no longer send any money as things are getting desperate for me up here.
I need money to help pay the mortgage until the house sells and need money to buy a cheaper house for me and my dog someplace else where I could hopefully make a fresh start. I'm not one to ask for help very often, I pride myself on being independent and self sufficient, and I certainly hate to beg, but these are unusual times and I find myself in a difficult position. I continue to look for work but could use some help until things get better. Anything you could send would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Family of four with young children are trying to use our creativity to get on our feet after a rough setback - just need a bit of help to get started!

Hello all,
First of all, I am so grateful for those of you who come to this site with the intention to donate or tithe. I believe that giving like that will increase prosperity and I usually aim to give as much as I can in my life.
My family is experiencing unusual circumstances. We are very hardworking people with two small children who have never been late on bills in our life. My husband experienced an injury on the job that requires him to train in something new for the first time in 15 years! He has been self employed and we did not pay for unemployment benefits so now he has no income - just at the time our second child came and I cannot work at the moment!
We have a plan! My husband is a skilled fine woodworker by hobby (although he has worked in construction for many years. He has been working in the back yard for weeks with whatever lumber he has on hand to begin to sell planter boxes and furniture on Craigslist. We could not believe that the first postings we made actually worked and he sold several things! This brought food to the fridge for our children and ourselves and although we are late on bills we have faith that he can pull us through with this new work. As luck would have it our digital camera just died!! We have no ability to post his work to sell it and no cash to purchase one. If any kind soul out there would be able to donate something towards a fund for a camera...we would be able to be in business again. This is our only way to bring in an income at the moment. Even a very small donation will bring us closer to being able to bring money in for our family!
I am so grateful for anyone that has taken the time to read this and I assure you that this posting is sincere and heartfelt and made with the best of intentions. If you are able to help we would be SO very grateful.
Sincerely,
Maggie S.

IRS Taxes, Credit Card Debt, No Job, No Insurance: HELP WITH EYEGLASSES
Posted by ProudMary on 2010-12-18 14:58:58
The laundry list is long of all the things gone wrong...
Hell my life IS a song--one of those bad backroad country tunes people listen to. Anywho. My grandma didnt get run over by a reindeer, but I've got two big problems that need immediate attention.
1. IRS is after me for some old tax debt from an innocent mistake on a tax return I didn't even know about years ago. They don't care about anything but their money and in this economy I read they're putting the screws tighter to people than ever before.
2. Can you help me get a new pair of glasses? Can't see without em. Law requires current eye exam so got to pay for that too. High prescription.
I recently lost the only job I could find after a long search (and it was lousy). Surviving by charity of friends and family. Maxed out the credit cards with gas, food and necessities. Don't have enough left to buy a pair of glasses (old pair just broke and not repairable).
I believe in the kindness of others as I have given when others have needed me. It is unusual that I find myself in these circumstances. SERIOUSLY. My heart aches, I don't sleep at night, I don't eat right. Poverty makes you old before you're time. My good looks are starting to fade (ok I'm only slightly better than average looking but still)...
I NEED ABOUT $3,000 JUST TO GET SOME BREATHING ROOM
Trying to keep my spirits up. Your donation will mean the world to me. $1. A quarter, a penny--anything to start closing the gap. THANK YOU!!!!

I know I´m an unusual person to post a beg here as I am from Finland - but sadly in my country these kind of pleas for help are forbidden. I´m a 34-year-old woman and I´ve never been in this bad a situation before.
In April I had to quit my little sewing business altogether, haven´t had any income since January, and Im starting to be desperate. Nothing goes well, no luck with job applications, loand that I used to be able to pay okay are now all falling apart and I´m getting bad credit, which will make life difficult for several years.
I had to move outside the city to be able to afford a rented flat, so now I´m all alone, every day all day long, losing my faith in life completely. I can´t remember the last time I laughed, I have no one to talk to, as it seems all my "friends" abandoned me as soon as I wasn´t useful to them anymore. My parents would love to help me, but they´re both retired and only get a small pension.
So, please, anyone who can spare me a dollar - even that would help tremendously!
I´m an arts&crafts person, and try to make these lovely crocheted & sewn bags to sell, so I can always make you one of them as a thank you - unfortunately that is all I have...

My name is Elena I am 33 and I am from Cyprus.I am not going to lie. I dont need money for medical bills or for a sick partner or relative.
My story is quite simple, however the debt I am in would take me a year to cover if I put my whole salary to it and IF I find a new job.
As soon as my partner and I moved in together we both lost our jobs because of the recession. We were taken by surprise as the last thing we expected was to lose our jobs simultaniously. We have been paying our bills and rent by our credit cards for the last 4 months and we have both reached our limit. our next rent and bills are due by the end of this month and we have no idea how to come up with the money or how to repay our credit cards. we may not be facing eviction yet, but if we continue to delay payments we will eventually be thrown out.
I would kindly ask anyone out there who is better off than we are to help us. Any amount can make a real difference to us.Thank you all for getting into the trouble to read this not so unusual story. thank you for helping, and being such a kind person

-There was a dog named Rope
-Whose first owner gave up hope
-This pup's got a winner's lope
-And so much heart it's no joke!
My name is Pat and My email is: ebonyauthor2@aol.com.
I found a doberman-mix pup abandoned in our local Kmart parking lot. He was a bag of bones with a filthy rope around his neck that he'd been tied with. He was frantic and frightened as cars came in inches of hitting him...no one cared.
I scooped him up and took him home in my car with the idea of taking him into the SPCA near my house. I was told to take him to the other location 10 miles away so I decided to keep him over night and feed him...my mistake. I named him 'Rope'.
Our local SPCA is overwhelmed with aniamls and I realized more than likely he would be euthanized...I couldn't bear that thought. I kept him even though I already had a dog.
Rope LOVES children and people in general so I tried to find a family for him with no such luck. He developed demodic mange which was very agressive due to his malnutritioned state.
I have been unemployed since 2008 and existing on unemployment insurance but pinched pennies to take him to the Vet. I've since learned this may be a life-long condition and hope there's a caring Vet or dog lover out there who might help me with the expenses to get him healthy.
I feel Rope is a great dog; he LOPES like a horse, tucking his back legs under him in the most unusual manner. It's really something to see! Everone who sees this laughs their heads off and gets much joy from it.
He has an adoreable little face and the sadness in his eyes disappears when he sees children or when he lopes around the cul de sac in lightning fast circles.
Won't someone please help as he's currently in his third atttack of the parasites and his fur is falling off and he has many sores.
This information can be confirmed at Care Veterinary Clinic @ 559 625 8549.
Please help this dog, he has so much potential. He would be a perfect candidate for a dog food commercial.
