I'm studying in a university and I'm not able to pay my final 2 semesters fees...... I need to pay around $1000 per semester.Can someone please donate me some money so that I can continue my studies. I am a 36 year old single mother of two awesome teenagers and I'm trying to fulfill a life long dream by going back to school.

For as long as I can remember I have always wanted to be an archaeologist and history professor as well as wanting to move to Norway since first reading the Prose Edda at the age of 11. Unfortunately those dreams got put on hold when I had my first child at the age of 19 and my second at 21. My children are now 15 and 17 and about to go off to university and begin their own lives and so it is time for me to revisit my dreams. This is going to consist of 3 steps each of wish I need help funding as I do not qualify for student loans/grants and cannot afford to quit my job to be elligible.

As the first step in this process I have been accepted to the University of Leicester to begin work on my BA in Ancient History and Classical Archaeology and am scheduled to begin classes on June 4th 2012 via distance education. In total the 3 year course will cost £10,350 with £1150 installments due every January, May and September 1st. Along with this one module requires me to go to England in year 2 for field school at Borrough Hill as well as a second trip over in year 3 for lab work. There is also an option to make a third trip for the graduation ceremony if funding allows. Each of these trips will cost roughly $2500 - $3000.

The second step in this plan is to complete a Master's degree in Nordic Viking and Medievil Studies at the University of Oslo in Norway. At this time UiO does not have tuition fees however they do require that international students have NOK 80,000 (roughly $13,500) per year of study. And Norwegian law prevents international students outside the EU from working while persuing their studies.

Finally the third step in the process much like the second involves doing further studies at UiO in the form of persuing a PhD in a topic related to Viking Metallurgy.

I have already taken steps to start covering costs on my own by working as much overtime as I can get (though this option is going to be limited once school starts as I will need to focus on school work) as well as moving from the house I was renting to a smaller, cheaper apartment with a roomate to cut costs. Unfortunately these measures alone aren't going to be enough to get me there. Any help you could give would be very much appreciated.

I am a graduating college senior in a bit of a financial predicament.

1. I still don't have my cap and gown. I had one, but my car got stolen and I stupidly hadn't taken it out yet, and when I got my car back it was gone. That's $89.

2. My family is coming for graduation. No one has any money, and I just want to pay for their hotel for one night so they can see me graduate. I'm the first in my family to graduate from a major university, that's $100.

3. I would love to cook a huge meal for my friends and family while they are here for my graduation. I could work wonders with just another $100.

4. My bank account is overdrawn. If it doesn't get paid in two weeks, then I can't get my financial aid from my new graduate program I'm starting in a few weeks. Its my only bank account and I won't qualify for another one because I've made some major financial mistakes while in college. Its $75 overdrawn.

5. My phone bill is due in 6 days. To avoid service interruption, I have to pay 2 months worth of the bill, since I'm behind one month. The full amount due is $175.00.

6. I was lucky enough to find an apartment I can live in for really cheap for the summer, until my full time job I just got starts and I get my financial aid from my program. The deposit for the apartment is $150, and I have the rest of May absolutely free and can even pay the rent of June when I get my financial aid from my grad program.

7. The last 11 dollars is just to have something in my pocket, since I seriously do not have any money.

I'm a single mom of two that has been working as an EMT and going to school. I'm going to school right now to at a community college and already done to start going to the nearby university where I have one year left but, need 3800 dollars that I need to pay off to go back. This week hasn't been the best starting week I have no car right now it's getting repaired due to getting severe hail damage and I just found out I got laid off due to my company losing a nursing home contract. I am a woman with cerebral palsy who is wheelchair-bound. I am looking for part-time employment. I have a bachelors of science in criminal justice. I also have some postgraduate training in public administration. I am looking for employment because I have to repay a $10,000 loan I took out my graduate education. Unfortunately I was unable to complete my graduate degree because I became ill. Now that I have recovered I would like to have steady work so that I can pay off my loan debt and hopefully once that is paid off return to school so I can fulfill my lifelong dream of helping military veterans have a better quality of life. I'm an actor. I've known this all my life but didn't take it seriously. For years I thought only vain, shallow people went into acting. Or people who were a lot better looking than I am.

Well, now I'm 41 years old and not vain about my looks. I have no illusions about becoming a Hollywood A-lister. I just love the craft, the art of acting and am going back to school for it.

There are very few grants available to acting students. Although I've registered for classes and have been cast in next fall's University production, I'm not sure I'll be able to afford tuition, books and housing.

Background:

I was born in Argentina, but have lived in Texas since I was 5. I had no say in it; my parents decided that’s what was best for me since Buenos Aires was so crime-ridden. I graduated high school like normal kids, went to a community college right afterwards, and worked part time to cover its costs. I got an Associate’s in Science (Nursing) and then dropped out since I couldn't afford to attend a university nor decide on a major. My GPA was a 3.4 at the time.

I'm now 25, working full time (Geek Squad, can’t do much with an associate’s), studying electrical engineering, married to my high school sweetheart, and have my goals set! I just have one thing holding me back...MONEY. Since I backtracked when I changed majors, I had a few sophomore classes to take. I'm finishing them at the same community college, and I'm registered for the Fall semester at the University of Texas at Dallas (Junior level courses). I have gotten nothing but As since I've been back!



Why I Need Your Help:

Now, you may be wondering, why can't I use FAFSA? Well, I recently obtained my permanent residence. That was a big roadblock growing up. One of the agreements I had with our nation was that I would not use federal funds (welfare, food stamps, grants, FAFSA, etc) for the next 10 years. I work full time and attend as many classes as I can per semester; I have no time for lollygagging.

Sallie Mae can only loan me so much, and banks nowadays make it very difficult to borrow from for school. All the scholarships I’ve looked for require either citizenship or full time enrollment, neither of which I am. (Can’t enroll full time because I need to work full-time to make ends meet) My father is a construction worker and I don’t know my mom, she left us when I was 7. I just sold my laptop on eBay and made myself a cheap one from recycled parts. I've tried getting internships, but I'm not deep enough into my career to be eligible yet. Nearby family members don’t have any spare cash, and don’t make enough to co-sign a loan for me….So I’m here, hoping some kind strangers can help me out.
