My 1997 Chevrolet has stopped running. I overpaid $2700.00 for it, and now to fix it, it will cost more than it's value. I live far away from my job where I just started working this week after looking for work for more than four months. So in a nutshell, I'm completely broke.

I decided that the safest route to go would be to buy a scooter, as they're more convenient, there's less likely for something to go wrong, and they're cheaper and better on gas. However, I have absolutely no money to buy one, and since I have no vehicle or transportation what so ever, I won't be able to make it to work, and this will only make my situation worse.

I have found some very nice used scooters for $500 on craigslist nearby. I would so incredibly grateful if you could help me with this $500 and I will have NO problem paying you back $100 or more a month via. paypal until I have paid you off. I can't take out a loan because I'm only 20 and haven't developed enough credit to do so (trust me, I've been down that route).

If you do this for me, I will be able to get to work, by groceries, and keep on going until things get better for me. Also, I was recently accepted into Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and a scooter would be perfect for getting around a place like that.

That's all I need, just $500. I'll pay you back monthly, I'll also give you any information you need in order to prove to you that I'm good for it. I can even set up a contract (if need be) stating that I WILL pay off said vehicle by a certain date. Anything you give will help. I'll be extremely grateful for any amount you send and put it all towards a new mode of transportation so I can make it to work.

Just two weeks ago we got the word from the Feds that my daughter would have to begin paying off her education debt to the tune of $1,533.00 per month. This is to bring down a total debt amount of $200,000 + dollars.

Yes, that's $200,000 dollars!! What??? While they are working to determine if this is actually the amount owed, she still has to pay this money back starting on May 28, 2012.

Unfortunately, she is not a doctor, attorney, or any other vocation that allows her to have this kind of money to pay this humongous bill. She is a social worker who makes about $33,000 per year. Although she could seek to get another part-time job her current job does not allow her to do that. Her working hours are 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. many nights (with no overtime - that sucks!!). Last night she did not get home until midnight only to have to be back at work at 8:00 a.m. this morning.

I so want to help her but I am unable to do so at this time because I am retired and am receiving a very small fixed income. I am looking for work myself so that I can help out. In the meantime however, the first payment is due May 28 and I'm (we're) desperate to get some help.

So please, whatever you can share to help her in this dire need would be most appreciated. And, if there is someone who could pay one or two months forward on this, we would surely be forever grateful and thankful for your generous gift.

I will be adding my two cents worth just as soon as I get a job. In the meantime though, whatever you can send to help her pay this bill on Monday, May 28 would help to take some of the pressure off.

You see, if that money is not in the bank by then, they will garnish her next check which means that she won't be able to keep her place to live and her car to get to work. No car - no work. She lives in a rural area and has to drive to get to work. There is no public transportation available and the beat goes on. If she has No place to live - she then becomes a social worker in need of services herself. That would be messy and wouldn't allow her to keep her job. So whatever financial help you can provide will be very much appreciated.

Where to begin? Well Im currently pregnant, close to 7 months and working part time. Ive stepped in some muck lately but it just gets deeper, trying to get out though. I have a roof for which Im thankful but have nothing to cook on, I have an ok job but no transportation, Im being blessed with a second child at my age but no bassinette or car seat, I barely make the bills and have a disabled mom to support, but I get up every day and try. Im only asking for a little relief from worry as I near maternity leave (unpaid of course). If anyone can just donate spare change thats a few cents off my mind, and believe me worry weighs more than an elephant! Anything would be a blessing, pennies from heaven or a quarter from the ashtray in the car :) Thank You

As I said I am sure you heard someone saying they need help. If you are reading this. It is hopeful that you are here to help someone with a request. AND I am more hopeful you have come to my ad to help me.

You see, I have been waiting for the last four years for what I call my turn. In that I have been waiting to find a job. Not much luck there. For my turn to live in a better home, with stuff that does not have bedbugs because there is no help in the area for beds and that do not come with those little blood suckers. My lags are still littered there bit marks.

It is so depressing because I am gaining way to much weight. AND because I only get food stamps. I cannot really afford the healer stuff. Out side my rent. I get less then $30.00 a month to live on ($29.00). That is $14.50 every two weeks. I barely have enough to buy the essentials. I am more then just struggling. I am almost suffering.

MY past makes it hard for me to get a job. AND I cannot improve my past if I cannot get a job. I have a hard time getting to school to get my GED. Because I have a lack of reliable transportation. AND that is in part of why I am here.

I am asking ANYONE. With the ability to help me with any little bit they can. Your generosity, will go towards helping me pay off my debt, buy a vehicle (and register it and insure it), and with any luck get on my feet.

You see, I have this plan. If I could get as close to $10,000 as possible (I am willing to pay back anyone willing to help me-upward of twice that if you can help with all that at once). To one pay back as much of the $1,000 give or take a few dollars (or close to because I could likely get the company to settle for less. Then I will like to buy me a truck (heavy duty or a former U-Haul) fix it up, register it, and insure it my guess is something like $8,000. The rest will go toward buying a bed that does not have bed bugs. Get a new par of boots (which cost about $50.00 locally). Blankets, pillows (again with out the bugs), and some other little bits and tickets.

But if I could get help with even half that I will make it work some how. (not to sound ungrateful). I appreciate the time it took to read this. AND To read others stories. I wish I could get on my feet it might very well be a day I will return and help someone out on here to. But like everyone else, I am in need to.

Now in closing. I do not know if I am more deserving or not. But if you could help me, perhaps make it my turn. I will not let what you help me with pass me up. Please help where you can. Even if all I get is like $500.00 I could buy me a bed. AND those little twinkets. I was talking about. Every dollars counts. Thanks for helping me, and other people.

I recently got divorced and my ex-wife took our car that was paid for to leave me with the car that I found out she hadn't made a payment in over a year on it. I thought we were a few months behind and when I ask for the bank payment slips with the bank phone number on it so I could call and arrange a weekly payment schedule to get caught up she didn't know where it was. She had actually thrown it away so I wouldn't find it. Its a small bank the wasn't even in our town so I couldn't drive up there to talk to them. I asked for the bank name so I could google it but she supposedly didn't know. Well about 2 months ago I was at work and the car got towed! I'm stuck without a car and can't work because I have no ride. She had planned to divorce me and then leave me stuck with a car that wasn't being paid for so it would be towed and leave me without means of transportation so I could work. She always paid the car payments and screwed me over so bad. It sucks. I always use to work 2 jobs and made the most money in our household. She had us move back to her home town in a house that her brother and his girlfriend lived with us so that when we got divorced I would be forced to move out. I'm staying with a friend but I pay rent and it's so hard to pay rent and save for a car when I can't make it to work most of the time cause he or his girlfriend are working and their jobs are far away. I would be so happy if someone could help me get back on my feet by getting enough money for a down payment for a car or even enough to buy a really old cheap car that can at least help me to get to and from work ok! I beat cancer 2 years ago so I know if I could beat cancer I can overcome this obstickle with just a little help from some kind hearted generous people! I pray that someone will help me. I'm not looking for $20,000 for a brand new car I just need to raise $500-$1500 so I can use it for a down payment on a decent used car or just buy a running cheap car. I would need a few extra couple hundred dollars for my first insurance payment also. Once I get that I can go back to work full time and pay my payments on my own and also my rent. I recently lost dependent status and access to the base, along with all of my insurance. I have no money and next to no clothes because everything I managed to take does not fit anymore. I'm trying to find a job and go to school but haven't been able to do either because I have no money to get around. My credit card is over the limit, and has been piling up higher and higher, and I can't afford the payments. It is currently at $1024... I'd like to be able to afford transportation for a job, college, and money for clothes and food... with this, I would be able to not struggle and continue with my plans, and perhaps find somewhere to live soon, as well. I recently started a relationship with a nice guy that has helped me financially, even though he has no obligation with me (20) and my daughter (4). As a college student I have been struggling financially but with his help I was doing better. Unfortunately, he has not been able to work because his truck was stolen and dismantled. We filed a stolen report but when they found the truck it was too late. Then we used all the savings we had to buy a cheap car just to move around. Unfortunately the car was taken away by the police because my boyfriend has no license and well his not able to get a license. For the past months we have struggled a lot because we have no method of transportation but the worst part is that his not able to work as much because he has no truck or car. What is left of the truck is in the junk yard and the car is still in the impound because we cannot afford to take it out. I am desperate to ask for help because we are running out of money, I have 1000 left in the bank and we only have about 200 coming in every two weeks. If we do the math we won’t make it until I receive my next financial aid in Sept. That’s four month that we have to pay bills, which sum: rent, student loan, credit cards, gas & electricity, food, phone & internet and more, 435+90+65+65+65+65+90+20+20= 915 x 4 months = 3660. Please help us pass this rough patch, so I can keep my small family and continue my education.

Iam a single mother in desperate need to get some financial assistance for move in costs for me and my daughter to finally have a home we can finally call (OUR HOME}after living in a motel for the last two years. Full time college student, with a two year old son, needs transportation to get back and forth from school and daycare. I'm out of options and running out of time. I’m an ordinary Grandma who would love to visit the Grandchildren I have never seen. We have worked hard all our lives but a combination of ill health, the recession in the UK and being unable to obtain work, primarily because of our age, we are struggling financially. Everything started to fall apart 4 years so when my husband became ill; I became ill 18 months later. He lost his job & has been unable to obtain another. My illness prevents me from being employed. I have still the last 4 years tried to run various businesses on the internet but with no success & our old age pensions (mine was due next year) have been put back by the UK Government for another 4 years.

We have 2 grandchildren we have never seen. They live in Portugal with my daughter & her husband. They are poor & struggling too so they cannot come to the UK nor pay for us to go there.

The cost of 2 flights from the UK to Porto or Lisbon will be around £800 for both of us. The cost of car hire (we need to hire a car to as they live in a tiny village inaccessible by public transport a couple of hours from the airport) is around £600 for 2 weeks

The first 2 weeks in August would be a lovely time to visit as they are on holiday from work & school.

I would so love to see my grandchildren, play with them, hug them. It hurts not seeing them more than I can say.

My husband says I’m wasting my time but I believe that there are good, generous people around who will help just as we have helped other people in our good times.

Could someone please help this old Grandma & Grandpa so they can see their grandchildren at least once. Any donations would be wonderful.

 I am a 32 yr old mother of 3 who has never been in a situation of desperation such as the one I am about to present to you.  Early last year I worked at a job which paid more than enough money to take care of me and my children.  The problem was that the hours were from 3p-3a, which gave me no time to spend with my kids.  My oldest which is of school age only seen me on tue & Wed, which were my only days off, the rest of her time was spent with my sitter.  My job also had me work holidays and sad to say their birthdays as well.  Soon my daughters grades began to drop and my young children no longer wanted to spend time with me.  They cried for the babysitter and soon started calling me by my first name.  I went to my job and pleaded with them for a schedule change, they declined stating that my personal life wasnt their problem and they have 1000's of people who would love to take my place.  So I was forced to make a decision between money and my kids, I chose my kids.  I quit my job after saving enough money to pay the bills for a couple of months while I search for a job with earlier hours.  I felt this shouldn't be a problem due my previous work experience and my associates degree.  The 3 months I had given my self passed by very quickly without me finding new employment.  Because tax time was approaching and my lease was almost up I decided to use my tax money to find a much cheaper home (unfortunately in a much less appealing neighborhood) and use the rest of the money to pay for rent and utilities for another 3 months.  I have no family who can help me out and my kids father is nowhere around.  I have yet to find employment despite the many interviews and applications I have done.  A truck recently cracked the windshield on my car, my tires are bald, and the engine is going bad.  I cannot afford to fix these things and am now desperate to find a job before I lose my transportation. I would love for a great job lead or even an agency which can help me. A small donation would also help and if you send me your email address, as soon as I get on my feet I am willing to pay it back. Hello and thank you for taking your time to read this ad. My husband is in college now but he needs everything from cloths to transportation. Public transportation is not an option because it’s almost 2.50 a ride. He walks from downtown to the college every Wednesday. I am out of work and have been for the last three years. Currently, we are living in a low income apartment and sleeping on the floor. We had to throw out our furniture because the building is infested with bed bugs. I HAVE TWO LITTLE BOYS. I am a struggling mother who has lost everything. I was evicted from my home last month and had to check in at an extended living place that I can not afford. I was let go at my job today because I couldnt afford transportation. Now I have no home, no job, no transportation, and I dont have any mother or father to help me. While I have no felony convictions or anything that would bar employment, I am forced to rely on public transportation to get around at this time.

I am a recovering addict and I have been on methadone treatment for almost 5 years. I am on a low dose and I am having difficulty paying for my medication. Both my father and I have been having very tough times, I am bi-polar but haven't had issues of any kind in quite a while. I like in the south east of england and i am 16 turning 17 on 31 of may :) live a fair distance from my place of education and i have no mode of transport as i have just moved away from the area, I have tried finding a job, no such luck as my area is highly built up and jobs are scarce. I'm from Mississippi, went to Oklahoma last year to see my mum, sistera, uncle.. started helping out an old friend/employer & one evening while fixing the boss' dad's computer for free, met a girl, love at first sight. Then, my parents got me to come back to MS to try out a job. I got the job, very enjoyable, $10/hr, but couldn't forget the girl, she was going crazy thinking I was ignoring her online, I was working & didn't check my messages frequently enough. So I missed her, she missed me.. I came back to OK the day after my birthday & we started our relationship. Everything was perfect. Then, she started losing it, getting stressed for no apparent reason. It turned out the boss had been feeding her meth.(this was oklahoma, after all) so we move out to be happy together, all december we just spent the money I had accumulated working in MS, then stayed in bed together until about New Years, when the boss came around.. we went to casino with her and started working for the ol' boss again, because my job search attempts during December had been fruitless without a vehicle or $ for transportation. So, living with the boss again, problems/drama came back around, my girlfriend would occasionally disappear for 3 days with no communication. I would worry about her, couldn't sleep, worrying/wondering.. we took off to Kansas to get away from the meth-heads. left everything behind, just took a few clothes & ewch other. Everything was perfect.. then my girlfriends aunt started feeding her lies and meth. Effin' meth. girls really get hooked on the stuff. so my first Valentines day was ruined because my girlfriends aunt fed her drugs and lies (i must be a cop because i wont smoke meth with them) and made her think she hates me. She also broke my phone in half and physically assaulted me, but I don't hit females, no matter how obnoxious.. I went back to Oklahoma to work with the boss. this was okay for awhile, but being depressed and lonely, having nothing else to livs for, i stuck with it, no matter how stressful. I was working(for weak pay, but i had free use of vehicles and a place to stay, this was Meth City, Oklahoma, after all - I was the only licensed, insured driver & trustworthy worker they had. I was hoping to accumulate enough funds to take a trip to KS and rescue her from corruption, or at least get her an android to keep in touch, but that never happens when the boss pays you then borrows it back. eventually, the boss' husband went crazy, thought everybody was supplying his wife drugs, or having sex with her, neither of which was I doing, but he kicked everyone out except his nephew, which turned out to be who the one who had sexted his wife from my phone. They were having a relationship, aunt & nephew, which disgusts me.. Anyway, I w(as kicked out as well, my grandparents wanted me to come to Florida to help, meanwhile, my ex comes back from KS with a boyfriend, i get a greyhound ticket to FL.. then the ex kicks her new bf back to KS, comes over needing a place to sleep & get away from meth. I give her uninterrupted sleep, feed her, etc.. and pretty soon we are together again. Nobody helps me get her a ticket to FL for what happened in KS, and before long, matching tickets are sold out. After a hellish, lonely journey in Greyhound, I end up in what seems like paradise, lonely, depressed. My girlfriend wants to get out of Meth City, and I've been trying to make the money with no luck. its been about a week now. My GF texted me how she is heartbroken and wants me to get her out of there. I need to fly her to Jacksonville airport, get her a ride to the nearest airport, and feed her, and I think it can all be accomplished for about $400. I do have intentions of repaying anyone that helps, once I start making money out here. All i need is about $400 to get her out of that drug infested town and out here to the country where she will be away from it all, distracted by lizards, squirrels, bunnies, etc. This girl means the world to me, she's had a rough life, and I want to make her life better like it should be. $400 will get her here to FL with me and I can take over from there, and when I repay, it will be more than was originally contributed, as it should be. this is "begslist" so: Pleeeeeeeease?
