I am working full time, not getting child support, supporting my whole family. I am barely making enough to cover all of my bills and daycare, and haven't been able to save for tires. I came across this site, and thought it couldn't hurt to try. ANYTHING would be helpful, my tires are completely bald, and 1 of them is a spare. I desperately need to get a set of tires so I can continue to have reliable transportation for me and my kids.

 I am a 32 yr old mother of 3 who has never been in a situation of desperation such as the one I am about to present to you.  Early last year I worked at a job which paid more than enough money to take care of me and my children.  The problem was that the hours were from 3p-3a, which gave me no time to spend with my kids.  My oldest which is of school age only seen me on tue & Wed, which were my only days off, the rest of her time was spent with my sitter.  My job also had me work holidays and sad to say their birthdays as well.  Soon my daughters grades began to drop and my young children no longer wanted to spend time with me.  They cried for the babysitter and soon started calling me by my first name.  I went to my job and pleaded with them for a schedule change, they declined stating that my personal life wasnt their problem and they have 1000's of people who would love to take my place.  So I was forced to make a decision between money and my kids, I chose my kids.  I quit my job after saving enough money to pay the bills for a couple of months while I search for a job with earlier hours.  I felt this shouldn't be a problem due my previous work experience and my associates degree.  The 3 months I had given my self passed by very quickly without me finding new employment.  Because tax time was approaching and my lease was almost up I decided to use my tax money to find a much cheaper home (unfortunately in a much less appealing neighborhood) and use the rest of the money to pay for rent and utilities for another 3 months.  I have no family who can help me out and my kids father is nowhere around.  I have yet to find employment despite the many interviews and applications I have done.  A truck recently cracked the windshield on my car, my tires are bald, and the engine is going bad.  I cannot afford to fix these things and am now desperate to find a job before I lose my transportation. I would love for a great job lead or even an agency which can help me. A small donation would also help and if you send me your email address, as soon as I get on my feet I am willing to pay it back. I have always had a job. I am 53 years old. My wife is recovering from breast cancer. We have already lost our house and now about to be kicked out of our rental. We need tires and brake on our car . We need about $2500 in the next two weeks. I promise you help me. When things are better i will help someone in return. This is all I know to do is beg for some help.Any help would be appreciated. I've never done this before, and really wish I didn't have to. Just recently my significant other lost his job and has not been able to find any work, we have a 3 year old son and we have been struggling to keep current on all of our bills, and now we are 3 months behind on our gas/electric, and at least a month behind on water, phone and credit card bills. To top it off my car has stopped running and my significant others car is not running well and needs new tires, which definitely isn't good considering how far I have to travel for my job. I am pregnant with twins and have a deductible on my insurance. While I am paying on that (which we can handle), the AC Condenser, clutch fan have gone out on my car. My car also needs new brakes and tires, The estimated cost is about $2000 on this more than we can afford at this time. My fiance uses this car for work and we badly need these parts replaced as quickly as possible. Money is especially tight right now since chronic migraines have drastically reduced my hours. Any and all help raising this money is appreciated -

Long story short. My car is not road worthy. It does not pass inspections. Needs bodywork, tires, exhaust, Windshield. Normally I wouldnt ask. But i am disabled and cant walk to doctors appointments, to get meds, go to therapy. I am getting sicker because i cant do these things. My car needs about $2300 in repairs. Thank you

I am an Unemployed, Disabled Veteran who can not work because of my service connected disability. I served for over 11 years. I have not been able to work since I got out of the military in 1997. And what I get from the VA every month for my disability barely pays my bills every month. And right now the tires on my car are bald. And I do not have the money to buy new tires or even used tires, as I need 4 new tires. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

me and my fiancee have a 7 month old baby and Im the only one working right now due to her looking for a job constantly and not a single call back we drive a 85 Buick century that is just falling apart its alignment is shot and we have to buy tires every few months it has exhaust leaks, broken motor mounts,axles, radiator leaks and my power steering is going out. every time i fix something on it something new and worse pops up i know its not safe for my family but its all i can afford right now on a tight income i would love to be able to get my family a small reliable car. if i happen to get a car before this i would like to be able to possibly put a down payment on a house or nicer apartment due to our apartment being way to small for us and has a ton of problems that our landlord puts off the problem or says there is no problem at all. it would mean a lot to my family and me if we were blessed with this money.

Racing can get expensive. There are many items that need to be taken care of just to get out and race. You have to get a car, strip it completely, get it running (buy parts, tires, fuel) and even paint it! (someone has to paint the Sponsors name on the car). You have to store the car someplace when it is not in use, and you need a shop to work on the car. On race day, after you already paid the entry, you have to get the car to the race track, and bring it back home with you to prepare for the next race. hi. not sure how to go about this really. my unemployment has run out, my car has a leaky gas tank. the one i can drive anyway. the other needs the alternator replaced, and two rear tires. i have the new alternator belt and the rear stabalizer bar. i am supposed to be going back to school to become a medical code-ist. medical coding is what it is. i will be walking to school as i will not have the money for gas. good thing its only two miles to get to school. i have been told by my landlord that i need to move by april 1st. if anyone would be willing to donate a few dollars to help i would greatly appreciate it.

I have a 1995 Honda automobile which is my only kind of transportation. It needs the engine to be repaired and new tires as well. The windshield is cracked and needs to be replaced. Any help will be appreciated.

I've been unable to find employment in Atlanta and I have finally gotten a job interview in Albuquerque. My vehicle needs brakes and tires, so driving isn't an option.

Help! We got hit by a drunk driver on dec. 02. The guy that hit us had a BAC of .246, and ran a red light. We got 2700 for our car from insurance. WE are trying to repair and rebuild our credit ruined because of student loans so we had no wish or extra income to finance. We wound up getting a 1994 Ford Taurus wagon. They put a new engine in it that's going to be done friday, but it's still a 17 year old car that will probably need repairs. WE are on a tight budget, and we would appreciate being able to build a rainy day fund for the car so that we don't have to worry when something will go wrong. We're fairly good at fixing most things. Our last car was a 1996 Taurus and we fixed the brakes, rotors and calipers, replaced the battery and terminal wires, spark plugs and wires, changed all fluids, repaired hoses, and we were about to replace the catalytic converter on our own when we got hit. Previous cars we've worked with have taught us how to replace tires, radiators, water pumps and fuel pumps. We plan to maintain our new car in a similar way so that we can keep it for a couple hundred thousand miles. It's not just about keeping costs down, it's about keeping a serviceable car on the road and out of crowded landfills. It's about a car that you love through a long relationship, a vehicle that you understand every quirk. It was that way with my '96, and I just know it will be that way with my '94 With a rainy day fund I would feel much more secure when it comes to fixing the inevitable problems that come with a comfortable old lady like a 1994 taurus LX wagon. She is getting a new engine so the head gasket issues of the second generation Taurus's 3.8L essex are going to be mitigated if not eliminated for at least the next 100,000 miles, but the tranny and AC especially, followed by suspension, electrics, brakes, steering, pumps (fuel and water), and of course the routine tires, oil, wipers, brake pads, etc. are all possible future repairs. All the fun of having a car that you can't lightly trade in. Parts usually run $80 average if it's anything like the '96 in terms of maintenence, ommiting outliers like tranny and AC. Any help you can give would be appreciated. I know I'm starting to sound like Ray Stantz talking about the pile of 1959 caddy that became the ghostmobile.

Oh and also, I'm up to suggestions as to what I am going to name this car. So far we've had a 97 dodge stratus named Pearl, a 1994 Buick LeSabre named Einhander, and our last car was a 96 Taurus named Wyrd (after the goddess of Fate). Yeah I picked the name after the first 2 listed died in the same month and we scrapped both for this one. Ultimately totalled in a wreck with a drunk driver was a fitting end for such a car with such a name, but it still makes me sad, that much AMERICAN BUILT and ENGINEERED chicago assembled car with the 3.0 L vulcan engine, cast of iron in the forges of Ohio and not a single leak despite topping 153k. Only 145 HP but it got the job done beautifully and dependably. You just don't get cars like that in the new millenium. *sigh* i will miss my 3rd gen taurus. Every day i see a dozen of them being driven bearing the characteristic curves and oval rear window. Anyway. . .a rainy day fund would go a long way towards helping me to learn to love her older sister. Right now I'm thinking of calling her Providence.

I thought I married the man I would spend the rest of my life with, I had planned on only doing it once. I do not work right now. I was doing hair when we met and he wanted me to quit and stay home with our son until he started school. I saw that our relationship was heading downhill and not getting any better and decided I need to go back to school to finish my Bachelor degree in Business Management. I am hoping to finish up by July or October of next year, 2012. I want to open my own business so I can support my wonderful children and give them the things they need and some of the things they want. My 2 children and I, along with our 2 small dogs, had to move in with my mother, uncle, grandmother, and brother. We have been here for a year on Dec 10th and have been separated from my husband that long. He has given me very little money for support in the past year, spent all the tax return, took out a loan on my previously paid off vehicle and spent that money, and ended up getting me in trouble with a bad check to our previous landlord. We had a 2007 Dodge Ram Quad cab, I was primary on the loan, he was secondary, and he said he was trading it in for a Chevy Equinox, better gas mileage and cheaper payments. this was 3 months ago. I am now realizing, how can you trade in a vehicle when the other person on the loan never signed the papers? So now I have people calling me saying they are coming after me for the Dodge truck. I have no clue what I'm going to have to or be able to do on that.

He put a bunch of our stuff in storage when we separated, we moved to Missouri with my mom and he moved in with a friend in Iowa and then LOST it, so I don't have a lot of stuff I've worked for and had before we even met. The list of stuff he lost...5 seat sectional with chaise lounger, 37" flat screen tv, PS2 and about 12 games, Wii and 2 games, new surround sound, 5 disc stereo system, new bluray player, box of my season dvds like Smallville, Friends, One Tree Hill and ER, a huge box of my Disney VHS that I had been collecting since high school, nice new short entertainment center, 2 end tables, 2 lamps, washer and dryer, refrigerator, tall dining table with chairs, vacuum, electric can opener, butcher block knife set, corelware dishes, stainless steel pots and pan set, toaster, king bed, bookcase, desk, riding lawnmower, 2 weed eaters, etc. I probably could keep going.

I'm living on the good will and love my family offers and my small student loan refunds. I get NO child support. I am looking to pay off $15,000 in student loans, the $6200 loan on my Tahoe, the $1100 bad check and a couple hundred in lawyer fees, and the $1,400 Target Visa he ran up and let go bad. I need 4 new tires, an alignment, and a new windshield on the Tahoe. I would like to build my children and I a house in the next 3-4 years.

My goals...
~ Finish my BSBA in Management, end of 2012.
~ Thinking about getting my MBA.
~ Open my business, if you are interested I can tell you about it. Looking for potential investors. Working toward fall of 2012, may have to be fall of 2013.
~ Build my kids and I a house, which my mother will eventually come live with us. Right now she is taking care of my grandmother. If my business takes off like I foresee, I would like to build as I have the money so I don't have a mortgage, or put 50% down and get a loan for the rest.

I am an honest Christian woman and I believe that the bills should be paid first BEFORE you go out and blow any money on luxuries such as eating out. He eats out a lot!

I am the single mom of 3 great kids. I work two jobs to support my family. I just can't seem to fit new tires into our tight budget. Once it snows, I won't be able to get to wrok, since the tires on my car are close to bald now. Can someone please help??
