I hope I don't have to go through that. I have until May 25 to pay my power bill or they will shut it off.

I have been unemployed for a time, have had yard sales and have nothing left to sell.

I make a few bucks doing yard work but not enough. Things should be turning around for me soon but for now, if I lose power my fish will die and I will loose all communication (ie computer etc..)

I am a huge believer in Paying It Forward and would greatly appreciate any help at all, and when I am on my feet I will surely help others that are in bad times.

I also need to get my thyroid meds by next week.
And I could use some help with buying some basic supplies for me and the cats, like food and toilet paper.

Hello our there for anyone really reading this. I am a married 22 year old with a two year old. I could really use some help do to everything. I'm in and out of doctors office constistly do to my thyroid being so large and slowly killing me. Do to all of my do to all of my doctors visits has put us really behind on bills. Both me and my husband work over 40 hrs a week but it doesn't seem to be enough. No matter what we do we cant get caught up and on the verge of losing our house and car due to a title loan we got thinking it would help but it only helped for a min. Eight years ago, my wife was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Disease, a thyroid condition that really wears her down. She had to stop working as she could not make it through an 8-hour day. We had insurance coverage until last October when I lost my job. We have exhausted our resources. She finished the last of her medication in March and cannot get refills until she has the thyroid lab tests done and reviewed by a doctor. The tests are very expensive ($600-$800) and to maintain her medication will be another $100-$200 a month. If you can help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

hubby is disabled and doesn't receive any money. my car needs repairs, some to pass inspection (about $350). tapped out on loans, so can't get any more. car needed for hubby's appts as well as mine for serious medical concerns (diabetes, precancerous thyroid, etc) any little bit will help.

I have been on a medication for the last ten years of my life.I was getting by fine until I was fired from my job and my mother got diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Im 31 years old, My mother was diaganosed with thyroid cancer a year ago, I am recently unemployed due to a work injury. I got the temp fix then was fired a month after returning to work, Well my back injury was not properly fixed and I continue to have problems. I have a huge heart and help othere wherever I can. I never in my life thought I would ask for anything, no matter how tough things got I always managed to pull through, but I am in need of help. I had 2 jobs but recently lost 1 and have been activity looking for 3 months. I only make 800 a month now and that barley covers my rent. I know I will eventually find employment because god is good and I am determined but right now I am struggling so bad. I have 4 boys all under age 15 and bills are piling up. My children don't know how bad things are. Between the medical bills / prescriptions due to my thyroid, hypertension, anemia and power bill and daily necessities I don't know what to do. i have been fighting malignant melanoma for 3 years now, my husband lost his job 2 years ago, and with it went my health insurance. i do not qualify for medicare because we own our home (we don't really own it yet as we do pay almost 1000$ a month in a mortgage). i work part time but, at 8.50 an hour that's hardly enough to support our young so who has been diagnosed with autism. this past summer doctors found a lump in the front of my neck, after a biopsy, it was revealed to be life threatening and needed to come out.the surgery cost is $20,000. dr. bills come almost every day, and i still have appointments to go to! melanoma is a life long cancer, in that to keep it from spreading and growing i have to see a dr. several times a year and undergo biopsy's of anything out of the ordinary. the thyroid cancer may or may not be related to the melanoma, they don't really know, it has been removed but i still owe thousands of dollars to doctors and hospitals. i am afraid that if i cant pay my medical bills the doctors will no longer be able see me, and my cancer will return unchecked, please help if u can, thank you

I am a asthmatic and the 1st year after moving in to my apartment I got bronchitis 7 times, Pneumonia 2 times, 2 colds, 1 flu and mono. I quickly used up all my sick time and had also used up all my FLMA time. One day I had to go to the hospital from work and my employer fired me for it.
I filed for unemployment and won but my Pulmonologist
recommended that I find some other work then call center work due to my respiratory problems. I have a anxiety disorder and recently found out why. I was diagnosed with a hyperactive thyroid and I have a small cyst or growth on my thyroid gland. I started experiencing uncontrolled anxiety and fatigue. I went to counseling for the anxiety but it didn’t help much.
I recently moved out of the apartment that was possibly the cause of some of my respiratory problems because we found mold in the hallway outside of our apartment and believed it was in the building too. I have continued to become frequently ill and my fatigue, anxiety, and asthma are making it impossible for me to find a job. I can’t get disability for my asthma because my O2 levels are not low enough.
We moved into a doublewide manufactured home we bought this with a small settlement I received after a truck ran off the road and hit me when I was putting my then 2 year old into her car seat. I was injured but she luckily was ok. The other driver took off on foot. This happened this winter and even after that I have suffered extreme fatigue. Our old car was totaled out and the car we replaced it with turned out to be a lemon. In less than 3,000 miles it blew the transmission and the rear axel broke. It over heated, and we also replaced the battery, 2 pulleys, and the AC went out.

We spent over $4000 in the different repairs on the car and used all of the money from what we had left from the settlement we were going to use to replace the original roof of our house from 1988. Our roof has already had leaks and needs to be replaced

My wife is trying to find work but she has seizures and can’t drive. My wife has only had 2 jobs her whole life and is having a hard time finding work. Now we are in trouble because we have no income and bills keep coming. My parent’s just filed for bankruptcy and cant help us and my wife’s parents are unemployed.

Hello thank you for taking the time to listen to my situation. My name is Joe I am a 28 year old married father of 2 daughters. My oldest is 3 years old and my youngest is 7 months old. I was a call center worker for 12 years and did mostly sales, collections, and customer service.
About 2 years ago I started getting ill after moving into a apartment. I am a asthmatic and the 1st year after moving in to my apartment I got bronchitis 7 times, Pneumonia 2 times, 2 colds, 1 flu and mono. I quickly used up all my sick time and had also used up all my FLMA time. One day I had to go to the hospital from work and my employer fired me for it.
I filed for unemployment and won but my Pulmonologist
recommended that I find some other work then call center work due to my respiratory problems. I have a anxiety disorder and recently found out why. I was diagnosed with a hyperactive thyroid and I have a small cyst or growth on my thyroid gland. I started experiencing uncontrolled anxiety and fatigue. I went to counseling for the anxiety but it didn’t help much.
I recently moved out of the apartment that was possibly the cause of some of my respiratory problems because we found mold in the hallway outside of our apartment and believed it was in the building too. I have continued to become frequently ill and my fatigue, anxiety, and asthma are making it impossible for me to find a job. I can’t get disability for my asthma because my O2 levels are not low enough.
We moved into a doublewide manufactured home we bought this with a small settlement I received after a truck ran off the road and hit me when I was putting my then 2 year old into her car seat. I was injured but she luckily was ok. The other driver took off on foot. This happened this winter and even after that I have suffered extreme fatigue. Our old car was totaled out and the car we replaced it with turned out to be a lemon. In less than 3,000 miles it blew the transmission and the rear axel broke. It over heated, and we also replaced the battery, 2 pulleys, and the AC went out.

We spent over $4000 in the different repairs on the car and used all of the money from what we had left from the settlement we were going to use to replace the original roof of our house from 1988. Our roof has already had leaks and needs to be replaced

My wife is trying to find work but she has seizures and can’t drive. My wife has only had 2 jobs her whole life and is having a hard time finding work. Now we are in trouble because we have no income and bills keep coming. My parent’s just filed for bankruptcy and cant help us and my wife’s parents are unemployed.

We need help with our bills and to pay for our basic need’s
Our bills are as followed.
Lot Rent 410.00 per month
Water/trash/sewer $100.00 approximately per month.
Phone and internet for two cell phones $150.00 (my wife and 3 year old have seizures and need a cell phone).
Car and home owner insurance $154.00 per month.
Power bill between $100-$300 per month (I live in phoenix, AZ and it gets hot).
We also are paying $100.00 per month to pay the fee for breaking the lease at the apartment that was causing me to get sick so often. We still owe $1,100.00

hi im 24 years old,have 3 kids ages 6,4,2. my youngest daughter was born with no thyroid, a cleft palate, and heart defects. i am currently going through a divorce however its getting so complicated between the two counties that me and my husband live in, that i will need a lawyer. ive talked a good lawyer down to $500 to retain him and will be able to make payments after that, however im having a lot of difficulty trying to come up with the money. i also have just lost all my state benefits, because my hours at work went up a by 3 hours per week. the problem is that it states that i am getting child support each month, even tho i havent received anything since november 2010-but my social worker for the state says thats how it works so there is nothing she can do. so my 2 year olds doctor bills have been coming in and piling up, especially for her daily medication. so ive been even using change to be able to feed the kids and have gas. plus a lot of my money just went to school supplies. if there is anything you can do to help, that would be greatly appreciated. thank you soo much for even taking the time to read this :)

Thank you for taking some time to read my story. Today I found out that I had lost my job of eight years. Trying to stay positive in this economy. The last six months have been rough for our cats. In March we had to have Nick our black cat put to sleep because of kidney failure. his bills added up to $500. Then our cat Betty had to be put to sleep for a failing thyroid and her last bill was over $250. In June and July our Orange Tabby Rusty had to have blood work done and we found out he has FIP. That stands for Feline Immune Peritonitis. His bills added up to $500. My wife rescued a Silver Tabby. Her name is Bella and she is about three months old.Although she is a young healthy cat her bills have been shots and boosters adding up to $200. All of our cats have been strays that we adopted. We keep them in the house and buy the best food we can afford. Rusty really needs AD which is a prescription only diet and the cans are $2.50 a piece. compared to .50 cents a can for the other stuff that has meat by products which is euthanized cats and dogs. I can't bring myself to feed that to our cats.We love our cats, but the bills have been a bit much. Not to mention my car needs about $1000 in repairs for tires, brakes and struts. My last bill looming over me is $20,000 in student loans. Give what you can and our family appreciates your generosity very much.
