The court is issuing an evictionotice within thirty days. I lost my job at Zuma restaruant in downtown Miami due to downsizing of the line cooks. So I am unable to pay first and last month rent on another place to live and cannot payment of any rent until I secure another job. Please help with any amount of donations towards obtaining a new place of residence so that I do not go homeless. Thnak you. Worried Mommy in Foreclosure w/ 2 yr old baby!

Posted by Worried-Mommy on 2012-03-28 19:58:47

Please help! This is a last resort to keep a roof over my 2 year old baby girl's head. I am thirty years old and have owned a small condo for the past 6 years with no problems until we lost our jobs of many years due to the economy. We are currently at about six thousand dollars behind in mortgage payments and received notice that we have went into foreclosure. We still have a chance to pay our delinquent amount in full to keep it from actually being foreclosed and becoming homeless. We have no place to go if we lose our home. It is all we have to our name. I feel like such a failure as a mother that it has come to this and really can not bare having to take my baby girl to live in a homeless shelter. To make matters worse, her birthday is in a few days on April 3rd and we have no money at all to be able to have a party for her or to get her a gift. I've never asked or begged for help from strangers before but it's our only hope. We have no one who can help us so hoping to find kind hearted people that know what it’s like to get down on your luck and kicked while you’re down who are able and willing to help a family get back up. Two months after becoming pregnant with my first and only daughter a couple years ago, my fiancée lost his job of twelve years & has struggled to find a stable one since. About two months after our daughter turned one, I lost my job of seven years due to company bankruptcy. We are currently both unemployed and constantly looking for work and doing as many side jobs and gigs as we can in the meantime. We struggle to eat on a constant basis and can’t afford the basic things in life. We are days away from losing our home. We have fallen way behind in our mortgage payment and are begging for help to get caught up. Anything you can help with would be greatly appreciated! I promise every word I have typed is the truth and we are definitely not the worthless type just looking for a free ride or to take advantage of kind and generous people. There are many things we need money for right now but I am only asking to help us get caught up enough to cancel foreclosure proceedings while we try our hardest to find steady work. I am begging purely for the necessity of keeping our roof over our head and not having to live on the street with our baby girl. Please find it in your heart to help us! If we are not able to raise enough money to keep our home, we are hoping to at least raise enough to find another place to live, so any donations will definitely help us greatly! We are very kind-hearted people who are ALWAYS helping anyone we can so we will definitely PAY IT FORWARD! THANK YOU!

Drowning here....

Posted by tiredmom on 2012-03-07 20:58:23

I didnt know these type of websites existed until today. I'm not good at asking for help and to be honest, I don't really feel that great about doing this, but at this point, I don't really know what else to do. And now, my story: I am a thirty year old single mother of a nine year old little boy, who both works and goes to school full-time. Last semester I was denied financial aid due to the fact that my completion rate was not satisfactory. Taking a semester off was not going to do me any good, so I paid for my classes out of pocket. I knew it was going to be tough and thought that I would be ok. Well, I was very wrong. Life gets messy and complicated and never really works out the way we plan. My car needed work, my son needed glasses, he got pink eye and we both got strep throat. I also just started a new job and dont have insurance (I couldnt afford the $400.00/month COBRA payment from my previous employer). Everything just kind of seemed to happen at once and I fell behind in every financial aspect. In an attempt to recover from this, I reluctantly got a Payday Loan. Well..if any of you have ever done this, you know what a evil perputal cycle it becomes. I got loans to cover bills, and then got loans to cover loans..and now, I'm drowning in them! I have six at this moment all for varying amounts, my checking is negative and I am still behind on half of my bills. I dont feel like there is an end to this. I would get another job if I could, but with work, school and my son, I barely have time to sleep. I dont get child support as my sons father aquired a nasty meth addiction and ended up in prison and my family is struggling almost as badly as I am right now. I take responsibility for my bad choices and I'm not asking someone to completley bail me out. I won't even tell you how much my debt actually is. I just need a little help here..thats all. Thanks!

We need help with taxes

Posted by nt1962 on 2012-02-17 15:58:59

We desperately need your help! We are a small church located in an economically disadvantaged community. We own a house that was deeded over to us by a former pastor and are at risk of losing that property because of our inability to pay some past due taxes on the property.

The house was deeded to the church over 30 years ago by a former pastor of the church who had become ill and subsequently passed away. The house is not located in the same community as the church. (In fact, it is some distance away from the church, and therefore could not be utilized for church-related purposes which would have taken it off of the tax roll). As a result of gentrification in that community, the property values have increased tremendously. The property tax assessment for the property owned by the church escalated to staggering heights during the housing bubble.

Because of this the church has had much difficulty keeping up with all of the taxes on the property (a general tax, a school tax, and a village tax). The rental income from the property is used to assist the church with operating expenses, maintenance of all of the church properties, as well as paying the taxes. Finally, reassessment in the last couple of years has brought down the amount of taxes to be paid and we are better able to handle some of the current taxes due, but some of the older taxes were sold and consolidated in tax lien sales. The consolidation of the prior taxes due has hurt us tremendously. Numerous times the unpaid taxes were consolidated prior to our completion of raising enough funds to pay off some of them in their unconsolidated state. Individually some were $1,000 to $3,000 respectively. They have been consolidated totaling almost $19,000. We are not permitted to pay the liens individually which was viable, we have to pay them in total.

There is a holding company based in the community where the house is located which purchased those liens. That company is now a few months away from being able to begin foreclosure proceedings and take a valuable piece of real estate out from under the church. This would be devastating to the church.

The church has been in the process of trying to sell the house and use the proceeds from the sale to build a much needed new church building in the community it is located as well as to pay off those outstanding liens at closing, and to unload a property that was once a blessing to the church, but has long since become a burden. We don’t want to lose the property. We want to be able to sell it. We had some offers on the house, but at the last minute a promising deal fell through. Previously interested buyers, for some reason now, are less interested. We feel it is possible that there may some collusion within the community where the house is located to wait for the lien process to move forward and that potential purchasers connected with the holding company will be able to take the property and flip it to tremendous financial advantage, while leaving the church with nothing for thirty years of struggling to take care of the property.

It is important that we are allowed to sell the house and build our new church. We are in the final stages of making the new building a reality. All we have to do is secure the construction financing. Receipt of a commitment letter for the sale of the house is all that stands in the way of a 40+ year dream for the congregation. It would give us the down-payment that we need to move forward.

With the construction of a new church, we would be able to operate before and after school programs, have handicap accessible restrooms, and provide better services to the community. We have a senior citizens housing complex across the street from our church, and many of the residents would attend our church but they are unable to climb up and down the stairs to the single-person restrooms in the basement. We also operate a summer day camp which would benefit greatly from having more space in which to operate. We would be able to accommodate many more youngsters, many of whose families are unable to afford the other summer camps operating in the area. We have had to turn down prospective campers because of space constraints.

Our congregational makeup has changed over the years. The financial impact of that changed has been coupled with the severe impact of the economic downturn on our community. We have more retirees now on fixed income, youth, and small children, many of whom have young mothers, and some people who are working age, mostly with working class wages. We need to build a church to better meet the needs of our congregation and community. We operate a food pantry and soup kitchen which would be able to open more days a week with bigger pantry space and a modern commercial kitchen.

As I stated, we are in the final stages of the building project. We have our permits, plans, and contractor selected. We are ready to obtain financing. The congregation, which has always striven to do much with little, has invested much in this projected over the years and the sale of this property owned by the church is the one thing that stands in the way of it happening. Please do not let us lose this property just so a few people can make a quick buck. Help us to pay off these tax liens so that our church will be able to help transform an entire community!

Without sufficient friends or family to rely on, a single person with special-needs pets needs your help in any amount. No steady work in spite of many interviews and diligent searching, multiple health issues, and lack of adequate support network have left this person in a desperate situation. Ten dollars will buy a bag of groceries. One hundred dollars will pay an electricity bill. Eight hundred dollars will help keep this person and the pets in their home. Eighty dollars will help keep communications open so this person can continue to look for work. Eighty-three dollars will buy prescription dry and canned pet food. Twenty dollars will pay for human prescriptions. Two hundred dollars will buy a warm winter coat that fits and which is suitable for job interviews. Five dollars will buy a thrift store garment in the person's current size (presentable clothes that fit are an issue). One hundred twenty dollars will buy a suit for a job interview. Sixty dollars will buy shoes that do not hurt and which are suitable for work. Thirty dollars will help pay for the laundromat for a couple of weeks. Fifteen dollars will buy an herbal supplement to help treat a life-threatening condition.

The financial situation for this person has become very dire due to lack of work. The person is applying for many types of jobs at any rate of pay. This is a skilled and educated individual who is eager to do any work of which the person is capabale. Any amount can help relieve the health-robbing pressure and burden on this person. Two hundred fifty dollars would allow the person to get a needed cleaning for the first time in over two years and to check on tooth pain and a possible jaw problem. Ten dollars will cover the required donation required to visit a low-income medical clinic. Twenty-five dollars will cover most urgent prescriptions for a month.

Two dollars will buy a little bit of fruit. Four hundred dollars will provide a vision exam and new glasses or a couple of pair of replacement lenses as this person is having difficulty seeing with the old glasses.

Please forgive the third person description. It is very hard to write this and just about impossible to use the word "I" in telling this story.

Even a tiny amount will help go for something necessary. No amount is too large or too small to be appreciated or put to practical use to help a very grateful person climb out of a very bad situation and create a more stable and secure life. Thank you again for reading.

PLEASE HELP BEING POISONED, NEED $750 TO GET CONFIRMATION FROM LAB.

Posted by ernestbolds on 2011-11-30 04:58:39

PLEASE HELP ME, I KNOW I AM BEING POISONED. I have a very strong reason to believe I am being poisoned by the tenants or staff I the government owned apartment building I'm living in, based on the behavior of the building staff and tenants as well as the severe fatigue and decline I feel during and after every shower I take, cup of the tap I drink, or food I eat from preparation in my kitchen using the water. I need $750 to have the samples I have already collected on video, confirmed by a lab giving me an substance identification, I then can begin taking the appropriate legal action being that I can already prove beyond a reasonable doubt with videos I already have posted on youtube. Any amount you can spare, even if it's just a penny will eventually make a world of difference. The only thing that has delayed me getting justice on this matter for this long is my lack of funding. My paypal.com account email is: ernestbolds@netscape.net if you do not see the paypal donate button below. PLEASE Help me teach these cowards a lesson that will inspire others to seek justice for themselves.

HERE IS ONE OF THE THIRTY VIDEOS I MADE OF ME RECORDING THE BELIEVE TOXIC FLOWING FROM BY FAUCET AND COLLECTING IT IN A VIAL MADE ON JANUARY 22, 2011: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Scekt7p1ZRo

PLEASE HELP MY FAMILY OF TEN

Hi,
Im a 47 year old woman who recently graduated with my Masters degree in clinical psychology. After graduation I completed my 3000 hours of internship. Unfortunatley I lost my job, due to mental health cuts in my county. My husband is disabled with scoliosis, but was denied disability, he is appealing. My oldest son his wife and their one year old daughter lost their home and had to move in with us. Then my oldest daughter and her husband and new baby (born 10/03/11)moved in due to lay offs. I also have two dependent sons. I apply to job postings every day, I have been on thirty interviews in the past two years. My oldest son is in college, but none of the other adults in the home have been able to find employment. We live in San Bernardino county with a very high unemployment rate. We hired a lawyer to help us with refinancing, but after paying them (and them discovering the loan was country wide and fraudulant) they only increased our monthly payments. We are doing everything we can to avoid becoming homeless, but we are being told we dont make enough to keep our home. I dont know what our family will do or where we will go. If only I could find someone who could help us until I can find work. We wont have a Thanksgiving or Christmas this year, We can barely keep the babies in diapers, we often go hungry, Our electricity has been disconnected, and we have shut off notices for the remaining utilities. We have one barely running car, no insurance, no cell phone, no anything left! Please help. I cant accept through pay pal because we are overdrawn in the bank.

Seperated Soulmates.

I'm a thirty year old working-class guy from Holland, so I'm sorry in advance if my English isn't all that! I've always worked hard for my own money, and eventhough it's been very little money at times I've always been reasonably happy.

My problem is that I've met the woman of my dreams in Australia, and have been working extra-hard to finance my trips to Australia in the last two years. We're in the process of lodging a Visa application for a de-facto relationship, so I'm doing everything I can to earn some money to make this happen, because all I want is to see my girl again before Christmas!

BUT!!

I've lost my job so I'm afraid I'm not going to make it this time! I've already found a new temporary job, but I can start at the beginning of November, which means I'll only have one month and maybe two weeks to raise money for that ticket! (Which is impossible when you're working for minimum wage!)

Hey, I've never begged for money in my entire life, but she's the first woman in my life and I'm very desperate now that we've been seperated for a couple of months, so I'll beg for love! I don't need thousands of Dollars or Euros people, I only need one ticket to Australia, so I'll be eternally grateful for any kind of help!

Oh, and I'm willing to repay all the people who might donate something, but I suppose you'll just have to trust me on that one if you're willing to? (Wether you believe me or not!)

I can't ever thank you enough if you're willing to help me out a little, and I hope you will!!!

:))

I'm no scammer, no illegal immigrant and yes, I'm really 100% Dutch. (And 100% broke!)

I want to thank you for reading from me and wish you a great day, regardless of wether you'll donate something or not. I know it's not going to be the end of the world if it doesn't happen, but it'll really make our days a *lot* brighter if we can spend Christmas together. (And the 3 months after Christmas!)

Thank you so much if you've decided to click the button! (You're really awesome and I'll definitely owe you one!)

Please bring me and the woman of my dreams together this year, because we've been seperated for 3,5 months now! (She's still in training so I can't expect her to pay anything!)

Please? Please? Please? Pretty please?

:))

Enjoy your day,

A.J. (Just a guy who isn't that bad.)

My Brother's Wedding

Posted by mybrotherswedding on 2011-09-04 00:58:12

My brother is getting married 8,500 miles away this December. My husband, my son and I would love to attend, but we can't save fast enough.

Four years ago, my husband married me even though I was in crushing debt. He's never been in debt -- ever. He took on my liabilities, made them ours. He is helping me dig myself out of that hole. Then he lost his job teaching art in the public school system -- in this economy, these are the jobs that are being cut, and no one's hiring. For someone who's always worked, being un/underemployed just sucks. So we moved in with his mother, just so we had a fighting chance. I do have a job, and he was able to find a part-time job, but we can't support ourselves fully, pay off our debt, and still save fast enough in time for the wedding. We do our best, we have never been extravagant. We were this close to finally climbing out of this hole ... but then, last month, we got hit with this ruthless dental bill.

To make matters worse, my husband and his mother are making each other crazy, and she has given us an ultimatum to get out of her house -- March 2012.

In the meantime, my brother's wedding is fast approaching. We can't afford to attend AND move out if we are still in debt when we get on that plane. Not without your help.

We've tried to do things right -- take personal responsibility, pay off our debt, not take on more, raise our kid ourselves ... but there seems to be some conspiracy against allowing us to get our heads above water. I have never been debt-free in all of my adult life, and I have never begged either.

But it is time. For both.

Help us, pleeeeez!!!

The airfare is about $1,500 apiece. That's $4500 for the three of us. On Coach. It's not much, but it's more than we can scrape together by December. The balance on my credit cards is down from thirty grand to $4,000. Only with God's grace, my husband's big heart and my commitment to my husband and son have I managed to bring it down that much! But we still need to get rid of it before we can move out.

Anything we receive over $8500 will go towards getting out of my MIL's house. My husband needs a break, and she deserves her house back.

Please, whatever you can ...

I'm Dead Without Money

All my life I've been grappling with a single canker worm. This incurable disease has always been there busily eating away the moorings of my life- callous, unsympathetic and unrelenting. It is responsible for all my troubles: kept me out of school for the past eleven years; ensures that Mum, my three remaining siblings and I are never together in one place since 1997; prevents me from getting married at thirty-six even though there is nothing I crave for now than marriage to my heart throb and have two or three angels in our own little house. I could have done all the above if my father is not this wicked and heartless man who flogged Mom and us the children mercilessly along with other forms of untold cruelty which culminated in his throwing us all out in 1997. I was a genius in school and I had hoped I'll be my loved ones' messiah when I graduate and get a good job. But alas, I had to leave school in 2000 after the first part of a polytechnic education and have not been able to go back since then, thanks to this same single canker worm. Now what is the canker worm? It's not a terminal disease as you might have been thinking. NO it's worse than that! POVERTY is worse than anything in this life! I need help and I need it quick. I want to go back to school, I want to go into farming so I can get rid of poverty in my life. Any good Samaritan should please contact me through this email address (sundayadejimi@yahoo.com). No amount is too small. Please save my soul.

What Can I do for you?

Maybe you want me to want me to mention your company name to everone I talk to, or perhaps you want me to plant a tree for you, I don't know, my imagination isn't that great but hopefully someone will come up with something more interesting.
Oh, nothing illegal pls - I'm not offering my services to erm, dispose of a rival drugs dealer or anything...
Thanks! Just leave a message at the bottom of what you want me to do.

Lost Our Home/Bankrupt - Mom And Daughter In Need

Posted by knd130 on 2011-07-29 12:58:59

My mom and I recently lost our home and had to file bankruptcy. She is a single mother and has had to raise me with minimal support her whole life. We found a landlord willing to let us move in with no credit check, but we need first and last months rent which is $2,000 total. My mom also found out that she needs $1,200 worth of car repair done. Her car is her only way to get to work. I was accepted into a local college, but will have to postpone going so I can get a full time job in order to help us catch up. We know that there are many people in need at this time just like us, it's just that all of this came up so suddenly. It's impossible for us to come up with this money all on our own within the next thirty days. The landlord is only willing to hold the house until September 1st. We are grateful for any assistance given, and please rest assured we will pay forward the kindness to another person in need when we catch up. Thank you so much!

Please Help !! I'm too young to feel imprisoned in my body.

Posted by fantailnz on 2011-06-26 20:58:47

My story is my body has sustained alot of battlewounds during pregnancy and I hope that the generosity of kind people out there would help me get closer to my dream of seeking plastic surgery with gorgeous getaways. I am a mother of two beautiful children I have a supportive loving partner who works long hard hours to keep our livelyhood ticking over. My reason for coming on this site is because I never put myself before family I'm scared this might devastate us financially. But I am so insecure and embarrassed about my tummy and breasts as they look like they belong to a sixty year old women and not a thirty year old women. I am and always have been petite. I'm an active person by nature, I love running but my stomach is saggy and stretched out from having 9 pound children and breast feeding 2 kids have made me breasts look like fried eggs. I feel like the ugly duckling in my family, my husband is gorgeous and my girls are stunning, I'm so scared my husband is going to turn his attention onto someone else one day. I need to start feeling vibrant and sexier again. Please help me break out of my ugly duckling ways. I have nothing to offer but my friendship and ever lasting gratitude. Thank you for listening to my story sincerely yours NZ
