We are currently finishing construction on a 2.7 million dollar building that will be used as a community center here in Houston to assist with underpriveliged children, to assist in outreach to other homeless individuals,to function as a auxillary primary school, and to assist as we are able with other community needs. Through generous donations from our neighbors, we have built the entire external structure (approx 1.44 million) leaving only a little more than 1 million dollars left to complete the construction. This is a near and dear thing to my heart, as it's location in Northside houston in a impoverished community would mean so much to helping others in and around the houston area. This community building is sponsored by a local church, which has donated the first several hundred thousand dollars, and we are looking to complete it by November of this year, IF possible. All donors (if they ask) will be given a tax receipt for thier donation, as the organization is a 501(c)3 registered non-profit corporation. Hello. Im writing this with my pride put aside because i've let the love of my life down as far as im concerned and need help in order to pay the remaining past due rent for this month. This is not easy for me to do because of the overwhelming feeling of failure that just eats me up inside. We have been together for more than 12 yrs now and we have always managed somehow to make it through some extremely difficult times. This women is an Angel of Mercy for those who know her and to her family she is simply the rock. She is 1 of 5 sisters, all having 2 children a piece, and to which all 10 children she has taken in under our roof for extended periods through all the years i've known her. She is the most positive and giving person I have ever met! I LIVE FOR THIS WOMEN and have always reassured her that I could never at any cost, no matter how tough things got, give her reason for serious concern or not be able to get us past any finacial issues no matter how bad it looks. Yes im feeling very sorry for myself because I was a truck driver and lost my job because of an accident that was my fault and where knowone was injured, resulted in a dollar amount that was too high for my company to retain insurance in order for me to continue in thier employment. Week to week we got by and then back in December the freight slowed and my checks that the bulk of our bills and all the rent came out of, was now barely making the household bills. We fell behind Dec and Jan rent and was given such a break from an understanding landlord and we caught up in Feb with every dime of our tax refund given to a thankful landlord but one that stated, from that point on, we must be on time. After all the struggle we went through and the extreme patients and understanding of our landlord....now i've lost my job! We have spent the first half of this month calling and talking to and submitting applications to so many programs for assistance but getting turned away with no solutions. We have no more time and if forced to moved i will have let down the last person on earth that deserves it. Our rent is $675 a month and sent $300 yesterday and it was everything we had. we need $375 and nothing more. if anyone can help, you will find knowone more greatful beyond words can trully express and any additional info needed for your consideration can be provided if requested. Im posting yet another beg which wont do any good since the previous three only got me response from people wanting to scam me,and its sad of people not to help one another and only take advantage of thier situation..my daughter was depressed and in bad health i am told now shes happy and her health has improved tremendously since she found out im her daddy and she finaly has a daddy..im very happy about that,and still need to be with her in june,but as i see or the lack of seeing any help,i pray i get that ticket to be with her so she remains happy and healthy,but again i know i wont get any help the past post have proved this,and im very sad to be a human,when we cant reach out to one another when in need..but i promise to myself i wont be like the rest and when i can ill help those in need. I have several cronic illnesses. Including scoliosis:Scoliosis is a sideways curvature of the spine that occurs most often during the growth spurt just before puberty. While scoliosis can be caused by conditions such as cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy, the cause of most scoliosis is unknown. My scoliosis curve got worse, the spine rotated and twisted, in addition to curving side to side. This caused the ribs on one side of the body to stick out farther than on the other side. Severe scoliosis can caused back pain and difficulty breathing. In my case In severe scoliosis, the rib cage may press against the lungs and heart, making it more difficult to breathe and harder for the heart to pump.I also experience harsh neurological affects of Muscle weakness, Numbness and Abnormal reflexes. To save my life I had to have surgery.
Surgery involves correcting the curve (although not all the way) and fusing the bones in the curve together. The surgeon lays bone grafts across the exposed surface of each vertebra. These grafts will regenerate, grow into the bone, and fuse the vertebrae together. The bones are held in place with one or two metal rods held down with hooks and screws, helping to support the fusion of the vertebrae.I went through all this at age 13. But now with the onset of sevral more cronic illness complication from the surgery that once saved my life now slowly kill me.
Years later I began getting sicker and sicker by the time I was 20 my spine was degenerating causing horrible pain, I had to have my appendix removed, then gallblader went bad. We never dreamed these all had a common factor. Doctors just shook their head proclaiming :you are just so young for your body to be failing like this". Eventually it was discovered I have Lupus and severe arthritus. Lupus is an autoimmune disease, meaning that the body' s immune system mistakenly attacks healthy organs and tissue. Lupus can affect any part of the body, causing inflammation and damage in joints, skin, kidneys, heart, lungs, blood vessels, or the brain. More than 90% of people with lupus have skin rashes, often triggered by exposure to the sun, and about half have kidney and lung problems. Because lupus affects the joints, it is considered a rheumatic (arthritis) disease.
Upon this discovery things began to make sense. So doctors now knowing why began a body wide check up to see what all has been affected. One test was A bone mineral density (BMD) test measures how much calcium and other types of minerals are present in a section of your bone. Your health care provider uses this test, along with other risk factors, to predict your risk of bone fractures in the future and detect osteoporosis. Bone fracture risk is highest in people with osteoporosis. They found I indeed had osteoporosis at the age of 22. SO now My bones are weaking causing damage areas all over my body, but the most serious being in my spine. Now comes the arthritis/lupus, they see these damaged areas and my own imune system attacks. Eating at the damaged areas creating even more damage, which increases the area the lupus attacks. It is a vicious circle. I have now been treated with medication over 10 yrs. But they can only slow the illness there is no cure, and dure to my scoliosis and the metal rods in my back surgical treatment options are very limited.
The damage is so severe I was decared legally disabled by the age of 23. My only income is SSI. I have to support my children and I on 658.00 a month. Thank God the court issued my ex to pay my rent in lue of child support. I am asking for help to cover upcoming medical bills. In the last 14 months I have had 5 seperate kidney surgery. My right kidney is damaged and I will soon be having a 6th surgery. This one to remove damaged section of the tube that leads from the kidney to bladder. then they will reattach at a higher section of bladder. I will aslo be having several Jaw surgeries. Due to exposure to radiation, osteoperosis a excessive vomiting of stomache acid my teeth are breaking and falling out. The doctor needs to repair what they can and put in inplants for what they cant. This will slow the degineration of my jaw. Without this treatment my jaw is going to cave in. Currently I am only able to eat mushy foods. I have drastically lost weight and my body is stuggling to heal due to the stress, pain and infection. So I hunbly beg of you to help me 1.00 or 50.00 anything would help. These procedures will not only improve my quality of life but aslo help extend my time here on earth just a little ehile longer. I just want to be with my kids as long as I can.Whith each dollar you donate its like adding an hour to my life.....What would you give for a few more hours with the ones you love?

I wish I could give my kids something. I am a 47 yr old divorced dad of 4, 6 yrs ago my back broke and damaged my Sciatic nerve.Doctors told me never to work again, eventually they said I will be in a wheelchair.Because of all the Dr. bills, I'm broke, cant even afford to dream anymore.It hurts not being able to help your children,a home, thier first car... I couldnt even give my daughter lunch money for school...That Hurts. So,my 763.00 a month disability doesnt allow me to give my kids anything, I have nothing, so I will beg for help, and I will pray. Hello everyone I am very new to internet begging as they call it. A little background about me. I am a Paramedic working in a rural area in Michigan. I have been working in EMS for 6 years now. I love doing what I do everyday, saving people and helping them in thier time of need is very rewarding personally. Unfortunatly Being a Paramedic is not very rewarding finacially. I consistantly work 72 to 84 hours a week to try and make ends meet. These hours have been cut due to budgets being cut down to 48 a week. The overtime is just not there anymore. Without this overtime I am having a hard time making my car payment. I currently pay $300 a month in a car payment for my Jeep. I love my Jeep, anyone who has experince a rural MI winter knows that 4 wheel drive is a must have. However with rising gas prices and the high monthly payment I am having trouble paying it. My name is James..I am a caregiver to my parents..they are barely keeping thier home they worked for so hard over the years..my teeth are in horrible condition..I am bipolar..I am under the care of the state mental authority..my teeth give me constant pain ..not to tell of the embarrassment and shame they cause me..I have a disability case underway and was trying to wait till I have medicade to get dentures ..how long that will be I have no idea..or if they even cover dental..I have had several teeth pulled over the years at the state mental hospital..but that is not an option now for my fathers COPD ..he cannot be left alone..I worked hard over the years till my condition got to where my paranoia kept me from being able to work productivly..I am accepted in my church but people are people and first impresssions are what they are..Ive never asked for charity before from anyone for anything..but im at the end of my rope and a life free of pain seems unreachable..God Blesses those who Bless me...Ive seen it alot these last few years when I lost everything including my wife..I knnow God plced me here because there is no one else that could take care of my parents at this time..teeth could change my life and what I can do for others with my condition..please consider my request..James Causey

I am a single mom trying to take care of a son who has a mental disability, and trying to keep another son in college..thier father refuses to be a part of thier lives..In June of 2010, the man I loved and planned on spending the rest of my life with passed away with bone cancer. I was his primary care giver. We thought we had more time to put things in order, but time ran out quicker than we thought.He was my support, mentally and financially. When he was in the hospital, dying, his family made me leave his house, which he had told me I could stay in,,but since the wedding had not taken place yet(wedding date was in July and he passed in June) I had no say so..ever since I have been struggling to keep afloat, taking care of endless hospital stays with my oldest son,and trying to pay for his medicine and trying to keep my youngest in school so he can have
a future.I've barley made the bills,but am finally to the point of my utilities being cut off, and haven't been to the grocery store in over a month. Please someone find it in thier heart to help me get on level ground..I work for the American Red Cross, 60 hrs a week, but just isn't enough lately.I found an in home business that could bring me more income,doing marketing, but to make it work, I need about 2000 to gain traffic..All I want to do is keep us going, my boys depend on me, I'm all they have..

hello. my name is Darren, recently we lost our trailor, in the country, on the beautiful land we purchased in hopes of building a home on someday. Because our nieghbors changed thier land zoning from agriculture to residential, which because we dont own enough land automatically changed our zoning so we got a 30 day notice to get rid of our home. forcing us to move into seperate homes staying with friends until we can get a double wide home to be legal on our land. my signifigant other, Melinda, has recently lost her job and has no insurance and 9 days ago fell down a flight of stairs breaking her pelvis, L-5 vertabrea, 3 ribs, tail bone, skull and orbital. she had surgery on her pelvis a week agoe, and cannot yet even stand. with no home to rehabilitate in and no insurance, it just seems like everything is crashing in around us. It is slow where i am working which with her not working and medical bills from my recent neck surgery piling up, and having to get another vehicle because ours finally kicked the bucket, its just to much. 2 weeks agoe my significant other fell down a flight of stairs, she has recently lost her job and has NO insurance... she broke her skull, orbital, coller bone, ribs 2,3,&4, L-5 vertibrea, pelvis, and tail bone. We also recently lost our home (trailor) due to a zoning issue. We got a notice and had 30 days to move out and get rid of it. We got a storage shed and went to stay with friends... seperate friends. We have two girls both 10 and things have been really hard on all of us. We already have enough medical bills with my recent neck surgery, and with this... it seems like there is no end to our peril. Ive been staying at the hospital because my love can not yet even stand so ive been by her side. The kids are staying with relatives but I dont know what to do. with no home to rehabilitate in and no insurance no one will take her in when the hospital releases her and she still needs care... PLEASE IF ANYONE CAN HELP OR TAKE THIS STORY TO THIER CHURCH... IM KINDA LOOSING ALL HOPE. Racing can get expensive. There are many items that need to be taken care of just to get out and race. You have to get a car, strip it completely, get it running (buy parts, tires, fuel) and even paint it! (someone has to paint the Sponsors name on the car). You have to store the car someplace when it is not in use, and you need a shop to work on the car. On race day, after you already paid the entry, you have to get the car to the race track, and bring it back home with you to prepare for the next race. You have to provide a scorer and crew, all of which is separate admission to the track, and feeding the crew and keeping fluids in them helps keep them on their toes to make any quick fixes! All of this, and all the time spent by all the team members add up, and most if it comes from our own pockets. Now go one step further and multiply this by about 36 races for the season, It adds up. Ive been working for 11 years.

This year i have been forsed onto benifits due to having a bad back and an illness called spondillitus.

We got our eviction notice this week as we owe £750, I have sold most of what we own to support us over the last 6 months, Leave my poor 2yr old daughter with no dvds or TV.

If we dont pay in full by 11th jan, They willl force us out within 14days, My family deserve so much better than i can give them at present and untill I see specialist and hopfully get help they cant reley on me as i can hardley move.

To see my daughter and wife been put on the street because i cant support them will kill me in so many ways.

My wife and I are struggling to open our home to at risk kids. We wanted to buy a small, working farm to help children with Developmental disabilities transition to helping themselves by hands on therapy and life skills.... Unfortuantely, our government, The United States, doesn't see a purpose or need for such a place and keeps denying grants and help... My wife is an occcupational therapist and I am a certified chef. We opened our home to an at risk young woman last year and have been rewarded with the leaps and bouds she has made developmentally... We are a family of 9 that consists of my disabled father and his wife, my disabled sister, my other sister, my husband, and our three children. We just moved to Arizona and because of all the high deposits they want out here for utilities and rent deposits we have no money for our children for christmas, at this point we don't even have a christmas tree. First off,let me start off by saying i hate doing this. I dont like asking family for money,much less complete strangers,but i have reached my breaking point and i feel as if there is no where else to turn. Me and my husband have always finacially struggled. He is a logger, its what he has always known,but between the rain and the snow and the broke down equipment,he doesnt get to work very much. Up until about 4 months ago,we were living with my parents,including thier home we have lived in 11 different homes and 3 different states in the last 3 years. We always have to follow the work. We have finally found a decent home in our home state,and finally felt as if we were going to be alright. Unfortuantly,that is not the case,as it never is. In the past few month,he has had to miss a ton of work due to weather and crappy equipment,getting us behind on bills we had just recently caught up on. This includes the rent,and his child support. He has always tried to do right by his children,but when he gets behind,his childrens mother throws the book at him. She has had him served for another court date and is threating to not let him see his children anymore,as if she lets him see them regulary anyways. She has money and had no problem with hiring a attorney. We desperatly need money to hire our own. Everytime we have had to go to court he has been ordered to pay amounts that there is no way he could afford. We just need help right now,and i know that there are plenty more deserving people than us out there. And if their is no one willing,i completly understand. My Wife and I are both disabled Americans. She has had a major back fusion and two knee replacements as well as some heart woes. I myself have just had my second major back surgery, I have an implantable Cardiac Defibrilator and one total knee replacement.
We are both on a very low income, myself on Social Security Disabilaty, she on School Employees Retirement Disabilaty benefits. We have a vehicle that is almost twenty years old and on its last legs.. I am certain you get many letters like this everyday but we really would like some kind of assistance. We would love to be able to move to Vermont where we can be near our children and Grandchildren as they grow and flourish into strong Americans ans be near our Parents as they live out thier golden years. I know we are asking a lot but if there is anything you can do to truly show your compassion , we will speak on every t.v. station, every radio station, make posters, whatever it takes. The state of Ohio in its infinite wisdom is considering stopping paying my Medicare part b and take away my medicaid because we, "make too much gross income" by the time we pay all our bills we have maybe 50.00 left to last an entire month.
My Wifes Information::::
I was Married to a very wonderful man for 31 years. He developed heart disease and diabetes. He fought valiently but finaly succomed to the medical problems. I became very sad and was almost at the brink of a mental breakdown. I did become involved with the local Greif Counseling service as this helped me to ease my burden a small amount. I began talking to this nice fellow on Pogo.com which is an online gaming site where one may play all sorts of games such as Solitare etc. We hit it off and began internet dating in August of 2008. We arranged to meet in November and upon viewing each other we knew the bond we had felt over the air was a real bond and Leo dropped to his knees and askeed me to Marry him. We married a week later in November of 2008 and have been together ever since. Since than we have both become quite medically burdened ourselves, Leo has a thing called Sudden Cardiac death Syndrome and has had to have had an Automatic Implantable Cardiac Defibrilator instaled recently. We both suffer from back woes and must seek care frequently. Now we do have a 1996 Chevy Blazer that runs when it feels like it, the airconditioner is broken and what with being in the Midwest is very hot to have to drive around with the windows down. A computer part that costs 1500.00 for the A.B.S. system is out and we just can not afford to fix it. We love the vehicle as it was my first ever fully owned vehicle from a bank loan in my life. If We appreciate everything we have and are greatful for both this site and for all the kindness of others. My Information::::
My Wife and I will be Married for three years on November 28th.We met in late July or early August of 2008. She had just lost her husband of 31 years. I was myself looking for a somewhat different lifestyle than I was in currently. I was living at home at over 40, disabled with a moderate spinal disease and more or less going nowhere. Debbie and I hit it off right away and we were engaged in October and Married in November. We each have been each others rock and best friend and companion. I have since went into the Ministry and have undertaken many courses towards helping others to live as good a life as possible. Debbie is a great personal loss counselor in her own right. I recently became a heart patient and have had to have an Automatic Implantable cardiac defibrilator installed in my upper chest which has a built in pace maker. All this at only the age of 49.Debbie has had to have undergone major back surgery herself and have screws and cages ut into her lower back. This makes us totaly disabled yet we both have a teriffic outlook on life and are always willing to help others. Life is what you make it, not a series of bad events that bring you down. We both appreciate each day given unto us and are so greatful for all our friends, family, and fellow searchers of lifes Grace. If we were chosen to receive a New SUV as we live in snowy Ohio and may move to new England to be closer to some family we would make certain that it was put to good use and everyone would know the generosity of others. I am a single mother of two and we are currently homeless,i was working and had my own place until i was injured at walmart in march I lost my job and in april lost my apt.during that time my son said mom come to flda i will help you ,i havea company which was all a lie he had a small 1 bdrm and his grilfriend,was very mean so 2 weeks into are stay they kicked us out in the streets we now have been in the streets of flda for 4 months with no where to go my childrens father is in jail and cant help us.i am strugling to make it I am pledging for someone to help us .we have now been on the streets 4 months it is hard on all of us ,i dont recieve help for food or anything.so it is soley on me ,ALL I am asking is help to get us apt so i can go back to work,i cant return now because i get a shower everyfew days.please if there is an angle out thier please help us,GOD BLESS ALL.

Hi, I am in need of help with paying my rent, all of my utilites are included in my rent, I am single, no children, and no family to turn to. I have always worked, but I had fell behind due to the fact that my lanlord raised my rent and for about 3 months my work laid me off so needless to say that didn't help matters. My landlords are good christian people, but they need thier money. I am working now but I do not make very much and since I am working and trying to make it in life, most places(for assistance) will not help me because I work & do not have children.
