I really need to get my son. I'm a fulltime college student with a part time job. My son lives with his father in Florida and after our divorce I lost everything including my special little guy. I'm not a bad mother I just ran out of money during the proceedings and his dad trounced me. I haven't seen him since last Christmas and working as hard as I can I still don't have enough money to send for him. The only time I have visitation is during school breaks so this is my only opportunity to see him until Thanksgiving. I miss him so much.

Hi. My Name is Robert. I am a 28 year old male who has recently moved to a new state in search of a better life. I have not had the best of luck with jobs. The job lined up for me fell through, and I began working temp jobs to make ends meet. I was staying with family and was out of work from Thanksgiving to New Years. I found a new job in mid January and then was asked to move out of my families house on February 1st. I am doing all that I can (working 70 hours a week) but unfortunately it isn't enough. I am late on rent and need $825 to cover March and April. I am also past due on car payments and approaching 60 days late. I am needing $550 for that. I have tried applying for loans and continue to be denied. I am also stuck in the payday loan cycle and am paying interest every two weeks to refinance. With just $3,000.00 total I will be able to get caught up and take the training courses I need for my job to increase my salary and be able to continue to pay bills in a timely manner.

I know there are others here who need help more than I, I just am at my wits end with phone calls and letters demanding payment. I have considered sleeping in my car just to make the payment. I do not have anyone in my family who can help and I am not an irresponsible kid living beyond my means. I am currently sleeping in an empty bedroom on an air mattress and going hungry 2-3 days a week just to pay what I can.

I moved into an apartment with my fiance weeks before the birth of our son. Shortly after my fiancee lost his job. He began drinking and has been diagnosed with mental issues. He began to become very aggressive and hostile. I have also been looking for jobs but have had no luck. Around Thanksgiving I found out he was cheating and he told me he no longer loved me among other hurtful things. My girlfriend and I have 4 children between us. We live in Indiana. My girlfriend works but only part time which is commision based. I rehab houses but have been out of work since Nov., before Thanksgiving. Our children have been staying with our parents back and forth, because NIPSCO turned off our lights and gas in Jan. We have rent due now and utilities within 3 days and only have $7.50 LITERALLY in the bank- we truly need a blessing and a financial breakthrough to get us through this time. Hi. I am a low-income disabled woman in need of some financial assistance. In August 2009, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had surgery in October 2009 to remove both breasts along with reconstructive surgery. In December of '09, I started 6 rounds of chemo followed by 35 radiation treatments. Although the bills were astronomical, I was struggling along trying to pay them. My only income is social security disability. My healing was progressing until I developed a hernia from the reconstruction surgery (they took part of my abdomen along with my abdominal muscles to construct my breasts).

In Nov.'10, I had surgery to repair the hernia as well as the second phase of reconstruction to my breasts. I was to only be in the hospital overnight but due to complications, I ended up hospitalized for 2 weeks. I returned home the day before Thanksgiving but still was not doing well. The Sunday after Thanksgiving, the paramedics were called to take me to the hospital again. It was determined that I was in acute renal failure due to a bowel obstruction. I was in ICU for a number of days. While in the hospital, I was placed on dialysis with the hope that my kidney functions would kick back in. After another two weeks in the hospital, I was released to go home.

On New Year's Day of 2011, I began feeling ill again and was taken to the ER. After several tests, I was admitted again and scheduled for a colonoscopy to determine the problem. It was discovered that a section of my colon was almost completely closed off. I was scheduled for surgery to correct this. I Thought they would just remove the bad section, sew me up, and I could go home in a couple of days. I woke up with a colostomy which I had until April of 2011.

All this time, the medical bills were steadily racking up. On top of all this, Ever since the chemo treatments, my teeth have been feeling like they are about to fall from my head. The chemo did damage while undergoing treatments.

I would really appreciate it if I could receive some assistance in paying these bills and getting my teeth fixed. I am on a fixed income and can barely make ends meet. I receive food donations from time to time and that helps me tremendously with groceries.

o be helping a great five year old girl who was extremely sexually abused by her family. She fits in great on our farm and is making alot of progress, at Thanksgiving my front bridge broke and now I am missing my three front teeth- it is becoming very difficult to advocate and speak with therapists and lawyers and judges, as this seems to be the focus and not what I am saying. I was denied by our insurance for a new bridge so I am begging for any and all help.Thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I am ashamed to be on here asking for help, but I don't know what else to do. I am in the position of having my gas and electric disconnected due to being in the hospital inpatient 2 times in the last 2 months for a massive kidney infection. I spent Christmas in the hospital, and almost spent Thanksgiving as well. I tried to set up payment arrangements with my utility companies, but they're not very lenient, or caring for that matter. I have tried to get help from any community action agencies or the Red cross, but they are out of funds due to the amount of unemployed in Indiana. I just don't want to loose my gas and electric in the winter with 3 boys. I don't know how to explain to them that we wouldn't have any gas to keep warm, and electric for the lights and to cook. I would not ask that the money come to me. I would provide the companies that I have my utilities thru, and any information that would be needed to help. Any help would be appreciated more than you know. And, if the person who helps happens to live in Indiana, I would be more than willing to do whatever work my body would allow, like cleaning house, helping with church events, anything. I am just unable to work right now due to the chronic issues with my kidney. But, the bills don't stop, and the companies want and deserve the money for the electric/gas that I have used. I normally am able to keep up with my bills, I just didn't expect to get sick, and for so long. November I was inpatient for 4 days, and never fully recovered. So, on the 22nd, I was put inpatient and didn't get released until the 26th, so my kids opened their gifts in my hospital room. It was still an amazing Christmas, family is what makes a holiday, it doesn't matter where you are as long as you're together. It has been a difficult month. The dog got attacked by cats over Thanksgiving and had to go to the vet. The day after we took her she was grabbed by German shepherds. Though she's fine physically, I worry that she is going to need training to calm her down on leash again. A drunk driver hit us last week and totaled our car. We have student loans that are due and precious little to eat in the house. We have one income but we need two, we need two cars but the one we had to buy is two years older than the one we lost because we didn't get much from the insurance company. Nobody is willing to hire me at the moment, after family emergencies, marriage, and full time classes kept me out of the work force for two years. Once I graduated, there was nobody willing to hire, and I got caught in an unemployment trap, stuck with a clean slate, all the right education, and no experience at a time when experienced people are filling entry level jobs. We worry about the coming year with rising rates and costs, and we wonder if we can make it any more. I would really like to be able to pay down on my loans. It feels like it's too late for Christmas, really. Our extended families are all limited income so they can't help at all. There's not a lot of hope around here and a whole lot of worry. I would really like any help at all. A little cheer, especially in the holiday season: a little bit of help for the car, the rent, the student loans, the fridge. I don't ask much, just if you stop by this, don't ignore it; contribute and pass it along. Help restore hope to our fledgling family. I really need help to catch up on my bills. I have fallen behind and am barely getting by trying to pay the past due. I have 4 kids ages 11-3. one is my stepson that we have custody of. his birth mother does not help us with anything, no medical, dental or no child support. he has ADHD. i his step mother deal with the teachers and doctors with no help from his birth mother. We just expierenced a death in the famil my children's great grandfather that was basically their grandfather since they have none. he passed away and was buried the day before thanksgiving. that made it even harder for us. we used to see him and visit all the time. i just really need help to catch up on our bills, electricity, house, utilities desperately. thank you. I am sooo down right now i feel like i am going to have a break down. we been starting to go to church to turn to the Lord. the way i figure it i would need between 1,000-1,500 to catch up.i am litterly sick to my stomach right now stressing... thank you in advance if you can help us.

Our crisis started a year ago when my little sister went missing the day after Thanksgiving 2010. No one knew anything about where she was, well my mother and I didn't know. My mother broke down she didn't know if her youngest child was cold or hungry or safe or worse dead.She was on a downward spiral. She started contacting places to help look for my sister, months went by with no news moms birthday came and went and nothing from my sister. In March of this year all the stress of my little sister took its toll on my mother and she was let go from her job of 7 years. Then just two weeks after loosing her job my grandfather passed away. The same week my grandfather passed away my mother and I found out that my grandmother, aunt, older sister and dad and his whole family were hiding my little sister. We found out that my little sister ran away because she wanted to drop out of school and my mother would not let her. So my moms whole family and ex-husband helped her to stay on run for almost a year. She was picked up in October of this year. We have gone to some family therapy and after my sister went through some in patient treatment for her depression she will get to come home on the 23rd of December. The only problem is we are being evicted on December 19th if we do not have the $1475 we owe in rent by then. See I am in school working on my nursing degree I work part time but it is not enough. Mom has been unable to find another job she gets unemployment but it did not start for 13 weeks after she lost her job and we were so far behind at that point that our gas had been shut off so no hot water or heat. Any way by June we were $2050 behind and rent was coming due again. We both worked very hard to catch things up over the next few months, but the landlord knowing our situation has decided that 6 days before Christmas our $250 a week payments (All my moms unemployment checks) was no longer good enough and on Dec 19th will be going to court to evict us. If we could just get enough help to get caught up we will have enough to maintain. All my mother wished for all year was for my sister to be found and come home safe and now she is loosing our home and my sister will not be able to be with us for Christmas. I really need a miracle to save my mom she is so depressed and sad all the time. I love her so much and can't stand the thought of something happening to her, I still need her:) I hope Santa sees this and helps my family for Christmas. Im a single mother who just got layed off from my job the week after Thanksgiving. I signed lease and gave deposit for a new place for my girls and i so we wouldnt be around the drug neighborhood anymore. the week after i did that and started moving in our new home i unfortunately got layed off. I applied for unemployment that is still pending,used what little check i had for food and personal products for new place. new landlord will not wait for anything. its cold out,the holiday season is here and as of right now if i can not get this help for rent that i so desperately need im going to lose everything including my new home and everything i own in it but most importantly my two girls who i have supported for the last 6 yrs alone. the children services board told me i had until dec. 16th( my oldest girls b-day) to get things taken care of with this problem or they were going to take my girls from me that afternoon. plz my prayers are that someone out here will have a very huge heart and be in xmas spirit and me and my two girls have a warm place to lay our heads and be together for xmas. we are all each other has . god bless everyone but especially to the ones who can and will help my girls and i have a good xmas together. I am a 25year old single mom, struggling to make ends meet. I have a custody order witch does not allow relocation out of state, so I am here alone. My family all lives in other states. My parents would love to help me however they r on fixed income disability so they r not to hot themselves. I work part-time as housekeeper, about eight hours a week. Not enough I donot recieve child support and am really close to eviction notice I ride a bike to and from work and continually looking for more work. I am sitting at home alone on thanksgiving dat. I am not able to even enjoy the holiday with family due to income. My 4yr old lil girl is with her dad today and this is my first time ever to spend a holiday alone. It is more painful due to my landlord has already been knocking wanting rent and I have no money. I haven't got to work all week. So any donations .... Would mean the worlds to me. I am writing this to you as a last effort to aid in my families dire situation. 4 years ago I was diagnosed with Spondylolisthesis, A chronic and crippling disease of the spine. As a father of a 3 year old, this disease renders me unable to do a lot with my son. Social Security Disability has denied me, and to add to it, we have no health insurance.
I find it hard to work due to the constant pain of my disease. I cannot afford treatment, nor am I able to keep up with my current bills. (which is not "out side my means of living", but are basic needs. Electricity, HEAT (in these very frigid times in upstate NY). We had 2 phones given to us last year from medicaid, all which are exhausted of minutes from calling looking for work.
My fiance Has finished school leaving her with student loans to be paid back in an ever so declining job market. This does not help our situation. We are very capable of working with in our means, but to no avail.
This will be my sons first Christmas where he actually knows something is going on. We have unfortunately had to cancel all lay a ways, and events we had planned for this holiday season. Our thanksgiving consisted of canned soup and baked beans. (not to sound materialistic) but it was heart wrenching to me, thinking to myself, " I cannot provide for my family"
Then, with all these situations plaguing us, our car becomes in operable. With more repairs than the car is worth. We are now left, in danger of not only having our heat and electricity shut off, but we face eviction unless we can come up with back rent owed of 4 months. We do not blame this on our landlord, as she lives in the same times as us. Her hand will be forced to evict us.
I have never brought myself to do such a thing like this, asking for money. But I guess I am hoping that there are still caring individuals in this world that can extend a hand to a fellow human being. So with the greatest humility I ask of you to donate what you can. This is not a long term goal to just see how much I can "panhandle". I am a 29 year old man, sitting typing in tears, at a public library. This is my last hope. We have sold everything we owned in order to keep our heads above water.

Hello and God Bless You for taking the time to read my story. I am an Industrial Electrician awaiting a new job assignment, as I have been for a while now. I work for a Temp. Staffing agency based out of Ohio. With the holidays coming up the jobs are few and far between right now. I have been looking into other employment options every day, but with our economy its horrible. This really kills me to ask for help but my children have not grew up like I did, poor and without. They have always been very blessed, although this year is looking terrible. I sat and cried for hours the other night because my son asked "Why isn't the tree up yet Daddy" My Christmas Tree is always up at Halloween and filled with presents by then as well. This has been an extremely tough year for us we have had to move twice this year already and that is not us. Its breaking my heart, I call my company daily and harrass them to get me out on a job, just nothings available right now. Im getting unemployment right now but in Tn thats a whole 270 a week, once we get grocerys and pay bills im going backwards. I could really use some help right now to obtain a descent Christmas for my children like they deserve. Thank you for taking the time to read this posting, It's strange I'm usually the one getting names off the tree's at walmart to help other kids, because when im working full time I make really good money and I too love to help people, Its just weird being on the other side of this, and now I feel like Im all alone in this battle. I pray to God every day to send some work my way to help me out of this bind I am in right now, And I know he will I just have to be patient and keep my faith strong. I am staying in a Hotel for thanksgiving, which is tomorrow. I have sold what little valubles I have left to pay for my room, and tomorrow is my last night here. I was staying with my boyfriend for awhile but he left me about a week ago due to a drug addiction that was unknown to his family and I. When he left he took just about everything I owned including my clothing, shoes, coat, anything to make a quick buck. My wallet also was taken, so I have no sort of Identifcation to get any help from shelters or churchs or governemt funded foundations, I have three dollars to my name that will be spent on food for thanksgiving. All I am asking is for someone to help me pay for a room, or food, or even a warm outfit w/ boots and shoes. I am very thankful for what I do still have but sometimes a person needs a little help now and then. I have always put others before myself and tried my best to give them what they want and or need, but in my time of need my friends or people whom I thought were my friends are nowhere to be found. I am not from denver, so the few people that are there for me cannot do much more than they already have. I am not a greedy person and I will not give up hope or lose faith that there are still good in people and in todays society. I would be forever greatful for all the help I could get. Im a 47 year old woman who recently graduated with my Masters degree in clinical psychology. After graduation I completed my 3000 hours of internship. Unfortunatley I lost my job, due to mental health cuts in my county. My husband is disabled with scoliosis, but was denied disability, he is appealing. My oldest son his wife and their one year old daughter lost their home and had to move in with us. Then my oldest daughter and her husband and new baby (born 10/03/11)moved in due to lay offs. I also have two dependent sons. I apply to job postings every day, I have been on thirty interviews in the past two years. My oldest son is in college, but none of the other adults in the home have been able to find employment.We live in San Bernardino county with a very high unemployment rate. We hired a lawyer to help us with refinancing, but after paying them (and them discovering the loan was country wide and fraudulant) they only increased our monthly payments. We are doing everything we can to avoid becoming homeless, but we are being told we dont make enough to keep our home. I dont know what our family will do or where we will go. If only I could find someone who could help us until I can find work. We wont have a Thanksgiving or Christmas this year, We can barely keep the babies in diapers, we often go hungry, Our electricity has been disconnected, and we have shut off notices for the remaining utilities. We have one barely running car, no insurance, no cell phone, no anything left!Please help. I cant accept through pay pal because we are overdrawn in the bank.

Im a 32 year old father of 3 thats never been this broke before ,didnt know where to turn so I figure I give this a shot,I moved from ny to nc to avoid high living cost on a low budget and now I cant find a job down here and I should not have moved I am looking for anytype of job now and will keep trying ,I was a boat mechanic at ny, my rent is late and im about 15 grandin debt but that was before hand ,If anyone donates anything it will be beyond greatful ,thankyou and happy thanksgiving

i have no electric (as of this morning) insurance, phone, internet/cable, and gas is almost out! I don't get paid again til the 2nd. Timing always is off in my life, lol!
