I feel very uncomfortable coming like that asking money to people I even do not know. It is the first time of my life to acting this way, but we are so desperate that I decide anything to save my mom. We need help of any good soul to save my mom's life. She is 62 years old, a wonderful woman who worked really hard for her family for long time...she's has a diabetic rethinopathy in both eyes and doctors says she needs a surgery as fast as possible to save her sight. Unfortunately there is no technology appropriate where she is living, so she need to travel to have a chance to get appropriate care. And the cost of the surgery is pretty much expansive that we can not afford it by ourselves. She already lost her autonomy and every single day is playing against her. Before this I always work 60 to 100 hours a week. Which also contributed my poor health. In 2008 I had my second heart attack (a minor one). It was actually lucky for me. Doctors installed a defibrillator with pacing technology. My dizzy spells were finally under control. Since then I have been working hard to build strength so I can go back to work and have a normal productive life. My car ..is no longer road worthy. Needs about $2300 in repairs. Now I have trouble making appointments to my Cardiologist, primary care Physician and physical therapy. This year i have missed 6 doctors appointments and had to stop all therapy. I also have trouble picking up medication on time so i go with out them sometimes up to a week. I get $1500/mo from Social Security. $96 of that goes toward medicare insurance premium. My rent is $500/mo. My medications are $400/mo and that is with prescription help. With out that help my meds are $1476. My utilities run $400/on average. The rest I spend on food, car insurance and medical bills ($3000 which i pay $25 to $100/mo when i can). I am asking for any help. If I don't get help my health will continue to decline. I will die within a year or two. I just starting gaining muscles back in my legs and arms I still have a long way to go. I need to get cardiac therapy to make my heart stronger. Hi! I am currently a single mother of 2 preschool children. I left their father after 5 years of abuse. He was an alcoholic and had become addicted to meth. He signed our children away to his mother. My children were returned to me and I left state to be with my family. My family was unable to help me and sent me to a 3rd state shelter. That shelter was unable to help me due to such extreme needs. My 2 year old has special needs such as celiac disease, hearing impairment, developmental delays, and possible down syndrome. This adds to my stress greatly. I am currently attending school for my Bachelors in Science in Information Technology with a concentration Network Management. Recently,on my journey traveling from my home back to school on 12 september 2011, we suffered a car accident. Wall Street and the big banks were bailed out of debt. What happened to us on mainstreet? I posted a plea the other day explaining my situation, but am changing it to read like this.
I owe close to $1000.00 in property and mobile home taxes. Two are considered deliquent. The other two are due the end of Novermber. The longer I can't pay, the more interest is added. My property taxes keep rising every six months. The value of my property has dropped because of the housing bust. Most non-profit charities will not help with property taxes. I work part-time cleaning private houses. It is the only job I can find in my area.It barely-I mean barely- covers my utilities, car insurance, etc. The state can legally take my home just like a mortgage lender if I cannot pay my taxes. I have an old computer with dialup so I cannot join Facebook or twitter due to outdated technology.

Therefore, I am challenging a rich Wall Street banker or other rich banker or anybody with money to burn to help bail me (Jane Q. Public) out of the tank. I cannot pay you back, but I will thank you personally if given the opportunity. I also have other outstanding bills. A doctor bill for $118.00. And I also need the basic necessities of life. Hygiene products, toilet paper, dog food. $25.00 for a flu shot. You name, I can use it. I am in survival mode and have been for the last couple of years.

Hello, my name is Scott and I am here asking for help because I... have run out of every alternative to get my life and my project studio business off the ground. It's at a dead stop. I was laid off in March 2011 due to company downsizing, could not qualify for unemployment because the previous employers "claimed" I'd quit. Job hunted on foot in Chicago from March to August filling out 4-9 applications a day, 5 days a week without a single call from anyone. Exhausted all of my bank accounts, can not get a load due to not owning a car or home, had to sell my car just to pay off debts, lost my apartment because ex-roommate thought it was better to steal from me and lie about having a job than telling the truth. My parents are in the hospital, so they are in no shape to help me.

The only way I have been able to contact people is by relying on my girlfriend's Internet, electricity, helping her cook and clean while "guest staying" at her apartment but know this won't last. I ask too much of her help to watch my cat while I continue to look online.




All I ask is for someone, anyone who can help. My goal is simple: I need to raise enough money to start a art design, publishing studio which would bring in clients who need visionaries to help make their designs, commercials, products, books, ebooks, animation using the next wave of 3D technology, FX special effects for student filmmakers in Chicago colleges, to help bring in interns and show them the pros and cons to hone their skills, and finally bring together Chicago artists who wish to have their talents and skills to create extraordinary work for any and all who wish to see it.

Bottom line, I need help. Financial help. I don't know what else to do. I can't get a job, for whatever reason, I'm flat broke, exhausted from sleeplessness and stress. All I own is a laptop, some clothes, my wonderful artistic skills, (my undying determination, good sense of right and wrong, knowledge of computer programs, business sense, sharp humor and a kind heart to make my dream a reality. I really don't want to live under a expressway but if things don't change, it looks like my next post just might be my last.

I need help! I have no other people to turn to. I want to go to college. I want a better life, and a stable career not a day in and day out job. This recession is doing nothing but breaking me down for money I don't have. In so much debt, and my car is broke down and can not afford to take it to the shop right now. My mom refuses to help me because she is just as broke as me. I am 22 and really do not want to wait till I am 24 to pick up going to college for a career in computer science and technology!!!

To be classified as a "full-time" student, 12 credit hours per semester are required. I am registered for 21 credit hours for fall semester 2011/12 school year.
I am a full-time Crime Scene Tech student (15 crdt/hr) and the Police Academy will be adding an additional 6 credit hours per semester.
The Academy begins Aug. 17 and Crime Scene Aug 22, 2011. I will be graduating with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Crime Scene Technology in May 2012 and the Police Academy in June 2012.

I lost my job end of Feb 2011. I am a single father and live in Florida. While Florida is number 3 in the country in "unemployment", the county I reside "Pinellas" is number 1 in the state of Florida.

I have started a business selling computer software training solutions and my target audience is any "Information Technology" professionals in the field needing continuing education or wanting to get certifications.

The "information Technology" field is continually growing and will be around for a long time. With technology always changing, for example newer versions of Windows, training is a necessity for survival in this profession.

I am looking for some capital to help launch this opportunity. I am looking for about $10,000 to assist me in developing this business as well as being able to pay my bills and not exhaust what little savings I have.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am a stay at home mommy of 3 girls. My fiance' and I had twin girls in Nov of last year. Since then we have had one struggle after another. He has a job but is currently waiting on more work to come through. A friend of mine suggested to place an ad on here in hopes that maybe someone out there could send us some help. I know its a long shot but its worth me doing and even if I do not have anyone respond to this then I would at least be thankful that I tried. I have such a hard time asking for money. And it breaks my heart to see people having to do this very thing. But my pride was gone a long time ago. Two weeks ago, we went to a local church for food and they let me look through the clothes closet. Very thankful for them. Im really trying to better my life for my family. I start taking online college courses for Medical Billing and Coding (they call it Health Information Technology ha) in May and it will take me a year and a half to complete. I mentioned that so you could see that Im not just some free-loader or anything. Im trying to make changes for my life so that my children can have a great childhood. My oldest daughter will be 4 in June by the way. I know that by continueing to have faith in God and faith in my family that good things will continue to progress in our lives.
