Hello, I'm currently in a bad spot right now I lost my job all my savings everything including my home. I lived the las few months with no power,gas or water untill I got the notise ov eviction from my morgtage company. All I have left is my car with an empty tank of gas and my cat with an empty stomach. I have exactly 92 cents to my name. I can't even eat. I'm not asking that you donate a lot. I just need some help. Any donations would help. I would just like to eat today. Do you know what it is like to not eat or how it feals? Ill tell you its not a good fealing.

Phone is off, gas tank is very low and me and my daughter need food. I am working but I have to wait another 2 weeks to get paid and I have 84 cents to my name. Any amount would help!

I moved in with my girlfriend 2 months ago. I left Boston to come be with her in NYC. My work had run dry until April. She had just been evicted from her apartment by a slumlord landlord who stole her belongings. We were living from paycheck to paycheck. Supporting each other as best we could. We didn't have enough money to get an apartment of our own, so we got a one month sublet, which ended up being a nightmare-living in a closet with our 2 cats, and dealing with the scum of the earth roommates who made us feel uncomfortable, unwelcome, and awful. During that first Monty, we spent our savings just living. We both work in the creative fields, myself a musician, an she an actress. Work was spotty at best. We borrowed money from friends and family, feeling terrible about ourselves every time. Mid-month, I decided to file for unemployment. (something i had never thought I'd ever do)
The money we were expecting from that would have paid her union dues, giving her a pay bump by about 400%. This would have enabled us to not only survive, but get on our feet and pay back our friends/family. About a week and a half after filing, my boss calls me and tells me I can't file, or he'll go out of business due to the fact he's never paid insurance on his employees. He convinced me he'd cover my unemployment pay (totaling $4,343) if I agreed to recind my claim, thus saving him tens of thousands of dollars in back-taxes. I agreed. As soon as I'd done that- he tells me his lawyer advised him not to do that, and that he never agreed to that in the first place.
I have now been playing phone tag with my unemployment agent for weeks trying to restart the claim, and have the state go after him for the money he owes them.
Meanwhile, at the end of January, we had to move again. We couldn't find a place in time, and ended up staying in a motel in Stamford for a night while we made appointments to see a few places. We awoke to the front desk and housekeeping ladies banging on our door, telling us we have to leave or they'll call the cops. We are still fighting Hotwire.com for charging us for that.
Luckily, we found a place that night. The expenses of having to move though, totaled over $500. (rental car, motel, storage)
The apartment we are in now is shared with 4 other people. It's a two bedroom. There are 3 people sleeping in the living room. There are cockroaches. We once again have to move out, by March 7th. We have applied for foodstamps. (they have yet to be approved)
This time around, we have no money to move with. Our resources have been tapped. We are out of options. Work is still spotty, and we have borrowed from everyone we know.
We have a week to come up with rent, cell phone bills, and moving expenses. Nevermind money for food to ear everyday. (as I type this, we are preparing to go out and sell some things for food money)
I have never been this scared in my life. I doubt that writing this is going to make a difference, but I have to try everything.

If anyone reading this wants a specific number that would get us out of this- its $5,000. Here's the breakdown:
$1,000 rent. (not counting a deposit)
$1760 my girlfriends union dues (which means she makes enough to get us on our feet)
$175 storage fee
$250 cell phone bills (it's a month late, an we're on the same plan)
$130 car rental to get our stuff out of the apartment
$40 rental car gas (they charge $9 a gallon if you don't fill the tank when you return the vehicle)
$1,000 for food for the two of us and cats' supplies. (food,litter)
And the rest would be to pay back some of the people who've already been there for us helping us along the way.

Please. Please help. We are a young couple in love. Scared. Trapped. Out of options.

I need money for gas. Any is appreciated. :) I have a small car so 20 dollars will fill the tank but just 5 dollars will give me a quarter of a tank. I have all my books and stuff paid for but gas is going up so any extra help would be so wonderful. I have just been recently let go from my previous employer so I am job hunting while attending school. I am going to a community college called Tri-County community college and its 20 minutes away. I am a full time student so I do a lot of driving back and forth. So any gas money donated will be used with the utmost optimism. Okay, so here's the deal:

I live with my boyfriend and we had both just started new jobs, we're already late on rent and have NO gas or food at all and no money in our pocket because of so many things that just keep popping up in life :/ My bf got let go at work because he doesn't have a Texas ID yet, still another state ID. Which is lame because they didn't tell him anything about it at all until Saturday when he went to them to ask if he could go home from a bad headache. So yeah, very unprepared. I drive to and from work (which is already at least 20 miles away) on E on my tank, freaking out. . . it takes forever in my county to get any financial help at all, food stamps, etc etc, we have no money or food. Even $1 would help?! Paying off a LOT of debt -- hospital bills, rent, utilities.

I am no different than a lot of people out here. Extra medical expenses and car breaking down has over extended my income of 10people dollars an hour. So now I owe 2 months of electricity bill and can't pay to get gas tank filled for heat. My elective bill is 280.00 and change. They tell me its 450.00 to fill gas tank they wont bring gas unless I fill the tank. Any amount of help will be appreciated. Thank you

I'm not going to go into a long sappy story. I've been unemployed since October, my rent is a couple months behind, my car is about to be reposessed, my gas may be shut off soon and my oil tank is almost empty. I'm just in a bad place right now untill my home business takes off or I find a good job that will justify paying for child care. I don't really know if this whole cyberbegging thing is right or not but I thought I would give it a try. If you are in a place where an extra 5 or 10 bucks won't break your budget maybe you could send me a little something so I can keep my car, apartment and hot water.

Well it's hurt me badly as of recent months. However, I have finally some decent income coming next week. Utility companies do not want to listen to me when I tell them oh I have money coming next week, please, don't shut off my service. Since I am a small business owner I cannot get a payday loan or any type of assistance, I have tried. I have asked friends, neighbors and family to borrow the $ but even begging them has not got me a thin dime.

I need only five hundred dollars, yes, that's a rounded number for simplicity sake; I would love to get a gallon of milk, eggs and some protein in my refrigerator since I tired of looking at my pathetically empty refrigerator and freezer.

I can repay these funds within a week and am completely willing to pay a substancial amount of interest / fees for your trouble and willingness to help me. I do have some collateral , we could discuss. I need the $ before 5pm today, which is cutting it close, I know. Also I would prefer if someone could just Paypal the funds to me (since my gas tank is empty and the rather small time window).

Please help if you can, you will not be disappointed.

hi. not sure how to go about this really. my unemployment has run out, my car has a leaky gas tank. the one i can drive anyway. the other needs the alternator replaced, and two rear tires. i have the new alternator belt and the rear stabalizer bar. i am supposed to be going back to school to become a medical code-ist. medical coding is what it is. i will be walking to school as i will not have the money for gas. good thing its only two miles to get to school. i have been told by my landlord that i need to move by april 1st. if anyone would be willing to donate a few dollars to help i would greatly appreciate it.

This is the first time I've ever had to do anything like this. I've worked since I was 13 until being laid off last year. Trying to provide for 2 kids as a single mom with severe arthritis in my spine is hard. I've been trying to find a job that I can physically do for over a year. I'm falling behind on all my bills. I'm a 58 they call me slowpoke.I got my self into trouble.I invested all my money in a shrimp boat and some I borrowed .the day tank lower line broke( that is the tank that holds the water for the engines)and before I knew it the engines blew up.I'm working but not making enough to repair the twin 671s. I have three impacted wisdom teeth, I have an appointment to get them looked at, but I need gas money to get to my appointment on December 13th. I should be able to make it there and back on a full tank of gas which should be about $60, if I could get some help with this I would be so happy. It's hard for me to eat and that affects my ability to take care of my one year old daughter.

Hello, I'm currently a sophomore at the University of Michigan. I was laid off my job here and I still have many expenses such as rent, books next semester, and my tuition bills to consider. I could really use some help until I find a replacement job.

Due to my family's financial situation, I did receive quite a bit of help from FAFSA, but it failed to cover around $6,000 of my costs this year. In addition to this, rent on campus is outrageous. I am forced to pay $800 a month to live in a rinky-dink apartment that smells like dying cats and usually floods from the sewage tank every other month. I just need a little boost for a month until I can get up on my feet again.

I'm a single mom out of work for the last year. It has been tough finding a new job, returned to school but money goes quick between bills' kid's needs' car and gas. I'm on my last half of tank of gas and still need to be able to take my oldest to school every day. Wall Street and the big banks were bailed out of debt. What happened to us on mainstreet? I posted a plea the other day explaining my situation, but am changing it to read like this.
I owe close to $1000.00 in property and mobile home taxes. Two are considered deliquent. The other two are due the end of Novermber. The longer I can't pay, the more interest is added. My property taxes keep rising every six months. The value of my property has dropped because of the housing bust. Most non-profit charities will not help with property taxes. I work part-time cleaning private houses. It is the only job I can find in my area.It barely-I mean barely- covers my utilities, car insurance, etc. The state can legally take my home just like a mortgage lender if I cannot pay my taxes. I have an old computer with dialup so I cannot join Facebook or twitter due to outdated technology.

Therefore, I am challenging a rich Wall Street banker or other rich banker or anybody with money to burn to help bail me (Jane Q. Public) out of the tank. I cannot pay you back, but I will thank you personally if given the opportunity. I also have other outstanding bills. A doctor bill for $118.00. And I also need the basic necessities of life. Hygiene products, toilet paper, dog food. $25.00 for a flu shot. You name, I can use it. I am in survival mode and have been for the last couple of years.

So, if anyone would like to tweet, facebook me, or whatever to get the attention of a rich, wealthy person I would be eternally gratefully.

I have been homeless for 4 weeks due to a lost of employment in August.

I will be starting a part-time job (something to keep me going until I find a full-time position) and my gas tank is VERY low.

I just need anywhere from $50-$70 to get me through the first week of employment.

I need help more than ever now. My landlord just gave me an eviction notice last night because I'm two months behind on the rent. I have a storage unit in Vista, CA with what little I own in there and I just got a call Sunday that everything in my unit is going to be auctioned off Oct. 15th if I don't get that rent up to date. I owe about $400 on that. Because of my breast cancer and other medical problems I applied for State Disability, which I've been turned down twice for. Last week I had a hearing in San Diego and lost. I guess I'm not disabled enough in their eyes. I'm looking for a job as a Bookkeeper or Administrative Asst. but the unemployment rate in CA if now over 12%. If there is anything you can do to help it would be greatly appreciated. God bless you.

I've been going through breast cancer for the last 15 months. Although I'm now cancer free, the aftermath, the pain, the numbness, humility of having only one breast is worse than when I was going through chemo. At least at that time I was getting some help from a cancer organization based out of Orange County, but they serve San Diego County also. I'm a 58 single woman with no husband, no kids and no one to take care of me but myself. Although I'm emotionally ready to work only part time right now, I was recently hired and working 15 hours a week…. Not much. It’s not enough to pay my rent, put gas in my old van, let alone go out to dinner or a movie with a friend. My resume is on craigslist and I have a great deal of administrative and bookkeeping experience. I have about $2 to my name, my rent is past due and I have no money for gas. My cell phone needs a "Straight Talk” phone card every 30 days I purchase at Wal-mart (which is $45). I'm not getting any help from any organization, I’ve been turned down three times for disability and I can’t apply anymore. I don't know where to turn. I drive a 16 year old van with a transmission that is failing and it cost $90 to fill the tank. I don't want to be homeless again. My rent is $700 a month and I have none of it. I’m now two months behind. The landlord has already given me an eviction notice and I like where I live. I was told God would take care of me. I pray a lot but I feel my prayers fall on deaf ears. I don't know who to turn to or how to ask for help so I’m just putting it out there. Can anyone help me please? I you know of any organizations or individual who are able to help without being strapped themselves, that would be greatly appreciated. Even if several churches helped me with $125 to $150 each (Paid to the landlord, not me, a gas card or Wal-Mart card) that would solve my immediate dilemma. Please feel free to call or email me. My wife are in need of a place to live. We are looking for a RV to live in as the one we are in now is falling apart due to age. The AC quit working there is no hot water as the tank leaks as well as other problems. Any donations of money or even an RV would be of a great help. I am a 23 year old baker who works 30 hours a week and can't find a better job. I make roughly 11, 1200 a month. Rent is 575 before bills, but I manage the bills at my house and they come out to about 400 a month. Im really exasperated with those, but then I also owe 1300 with the banks, who were so quick to give me a credit card when I was 18 and had no job. I just found out my ex-girlfriend is pregnant (our poor kid! :( )and I have no savings, I've just been working paycheck to paycheck. Thanks to the banks and the way they've squandered the tiny amount of money I have with overdraft charges and interest fees, I have no more than an eighth in my gas tank and only the blandest sandwhiches for lunch. I am hoping to find someone with a big enough heart to help us out here. We have two children, 9 and 6, myself and my husband, and my step-mother. My husband hurt his arm in 2007 at work, and we are still in court with his former employer, because he lost use of his right arm. So he is unable to work, and we receive welfare money. I am a really bad type 1 diabetic and have been since I was 5, and am unable to maintain proper employment, so I am on on SSD. We also have my father's (he passed away at Christmas in 2010) fiance, who is may as well be a step-mother to me who lives with us, who has 3 types of cancer, all stage 4, and she is bedridden, and very very sick. (and she is only 57) We lost our baby son to SIDS in 2009, and things have just kept up being really difficult for us, everytime we almost catch up on bills, somebody dies or gets sick, or the car breaks, and then we end up borrowing from Peter to pay Paul. We have a really old house (pre-civil war) which is hard to keep heated in the winter, and hard to keep cool in the summer, and cant afford to fix the furnace, the water tanks, or the windows. Our car is a '99 van thats falling apart worse every day, and alls we do is drive to doctors and the grocery store. I am at the end of the rope here with being able to sell off any collectibles or music, or electronics that we have, I've been recycling bottles from family members, and saving up all the change we find, but it just isn't enough. My kids, I can't even afford them new summer clothes, and they're both growing like weeds. I have been lucky that I always prepare for the worst, and so I have a bunch of canned food, and we have a few chickens that give us eggs, but we are on our way to sinking beyond the point of saving. Please, we are good God-fearing people, we aren't out to buy ourselves some tv or motorcycle, we have no credit card debt, cuz we think its bad to do that, we just have nothing left to give. I would like to be able to fix our furnace, and insulate our hotwater tank, and maybe be able to fix our car better than we've been doing with metal tape and putty. I would like to be able to get a bag of fresh vegetables and fruit for the kids to stay healthy, and I would like to be able to pay our bills this month.
