I am middle child of three brothers. Currently, my older brother and I are currently unemployed looking desperately to find a job again. Back in November, my mother was diagnosed with acute leukemia. A day after she was diagnosed she had a stroke and my mother has not been the same since. The stroke caused a condition called "Broca's Apasia" which affects the speech part of your brain. Basically with this condition she can understand everything spoken to her, but it's her finding those words to speak back which has been affected. No complete sentence hardly ever. Well my brother and I quit our jobs to become her caretakers at home. In to a few weeks of this we had to take her to intensive care at MD Anderson because she had developed MRSA infection (Hostpital Super-Bug), and she went into septic shock. Septic shock summed up is your organs going into failure. She was put into a sedated coma for a little over a month. She was then slowly brought out of the coma and transferred to a ICU at a Hospice/Rehabilitation Facility where the doctors estimated her recovery program to take 2-3 years. We all now how much money this will accumulate to. Her insurance is fixing to run out, and when she is put on medicaid they can take all of her assets to cover medical costs. So my brother and I had to put our house (Mom's House) up for sale so they wont take the house to cover her medical costs. If the house sells right now while my brother and I are unemployed we will be homeless. I dont know how or if websites like this really recieve donations, but it is worth a try. Blessings to all! I am a Christian wife and Mother of 4 beautiful children and one grandson. My husband of almost 23 years is on a fixed income of $1251.00 per month and the bills are piling up since losing my job December 16, 2012. I was blessed with an interview next week. So keep me in your prayers that I get the job. I have already claimed it. Unfortunately, I don't have enough funds for the bills until I get a paycheck. I am doing some babysitting for a pastor to help ends meet, but it is not often enough to completely sofice.

Speaking of a job, we live out in the country 30miles from the nearest town, either way we go; therefore, the importance of the Internet ranks very high. Infact, it is how I do my job hunting (3-4hrs per day/4days per week). Should our phone get cut-off, the Internet is gone. Also, the possible gig I've got going for next week will only respond via email. Also, not too long after I lost my job, we took out some payday loans (2 infact) and were paying on them until we had some repairs and insurance hit us all at once. Either I have to pay the settlement for the loans or go to court by June 11, 2012. We have about $16.00 cash at this moment and the checking account is in the negative. I donot want them to close our account. If so, we cannot get his social security. At this point, I will note:

phone bill=$220.00 due via tomorrow by 5PM. 4pm so I can get it their in time.

I would like to add that this is just a hard time. I am college educated, but got laid off from my job. I never thought we would hit hard times this bad and this fast.

I am a 31 year old full time student. I have been steadily employed for the last 12 years, but recently lost my job just around the same time I had to move out of my house and take on a whole lot more in bills. I am looking for work and have just started a part time job, but the hours aren't enough to make the bills. I have to pay to register my car and fix my headlight so I can keep driving my car. I have to pay my rent for June. I have to eat and feed my cat.

I am a hard worker who has just fallen on some hard times. My mom died a few years ago and my dad can't help me out either. I've run out of people I can ask for help. I don't need or want a lot of money, just enough to keep me going until I can get back into working full time.

I could use about $1000 to get myself on steady ground. I realize that might be a lot to some, and maybe nothing to others, but to me it means everything right now. Hello to all and thanks for taking time to view my donation page. I'm 24 years old and I just saved up my last and moved to Nashville TN. I have a very promising future ahead with my music career in Audio Production. I'm in a very tight situation because I needed to get away from everybody slowing me down back home in Cleveland Ohio that does not want to see me succeed (including family, my 2 kids mothers, and people I thought were friends.) I've had opportunities at one point to make theme music for up and coming Disney, HGTV, ESPN and other shows just to name a few. Nobody really wanted to see me make it and help fund a Engineer so my dreams could become a reality. With the last of the money I was able to raise, I kissed my kids goodbye and moved to Nashville with a close friend from high school.
I figured that everything happens for a reason and prior to me moving, I found out that she has been out here in TN for almost a year with no furniture (bed, couch, dining-kitchen table) Its just her and her cat in a empty Apt. She has a job doing what she went to school for in the animal vet field but she's only recieving small pay. I know anything beats nothing but what is that for someone who graduated from WVU with a bachelors of science? She has Student loans to pay back to a actual bank, a car note, rent and utilities to pay for all on her own and her family is In Cleveland as well. They aren't fortunate to help the situation and anybody from Cleveland could understand why considering how the economy is.
Being a good friend(especially considering that im allergic to cats and there is no vaccume), I saved my last and moved down here because I figured I could help her as well as help myself. If we are going to struggle, we can struggle together. That's what true friends are for right? I have been here since Easter and it's still hard to adjust. She has a leased vehicle so im not really in the predicament to double up her mileage looking for jobs and going to school in it. Everything is so far apart here.I had intentions on going to school in the fall for Audio Production but one day i called a local school from one of the commercials and I ended up taking a tour the same day. I was so Excited to see the Music Studio that I wanted to start immediately!!! I then found out that I started school the very next month (May 7th to be exact.)
Now I have to find a job to go around my school schedule which is only 3 days a week but Im having trouble figuring out how I will even get to school. The bus system is different than back in Cleveland. In Cleveland, schools give students bus passes and they even get discounted prices for being students. Here is definitely not like that. I'm not complaining because I'm blessed to at least be away from all of the distraction and I'm enrolled into school. Now I'm just worried as to what it will take for us to be comfortable for a change.
I eat ramen noodles and Vienna sausages just about everyday to make food here last. I'm not complaining at all but I'm sure that after while i will start to get sick from this. The noodles have high sodium as well. Just barely making it is an experience that isn't fun and I wish this upon nobody. This is why I'm turning to a donation community.

Food for home, Bus passes for my schooling, Furniture for our apartment (I'm seeing alot we can get for less locally on Craigslist), Internet so I can stay active with my production, More Music Equipment (the equipment is so expensive but im in the right state to get it used) and eventually a vehicle so I could get us around and not worry about my roommate going over her mileage.

My kid brother needs help! He has End Stage Kidney Failure/Disease the Dr. Office has it where we can get his meds for $20.00 each and he is on 6 different medications. The ones he needs now are the most important ones for his survival. He is just a 29 year old young man who is very sick right now. He goes in 3 times a week to have his blood cleaned just to maintain his life. I am begging as an older sister who is a single mom with no income for either of us; please find it in your heart to help him get his required medications. Every little bit helps! I have 4 children, two in school, my oldest son is autistic, and a set of twins. I want to Go to school for phlebotomy. I am basically raising money to go take this phlebotomy class hopefully by the fall. All I want is to do better for my family, and city colleges dont pay for certificate classes so fafsa is out for me. I have been looking for, interviewing, and applying for jobs since I got laid off in 2010, yet, to no avail have I gotten lucky. Alot of places want you to have a degree now a days and I figure if I start off small then I can acheive more for myself and my family. Hello due to unforseen reasons I got behind on my mortgage and when I had most of the money to pay Chase they did not want to take it but they wanted all of the money at once. They now have a sell date on my home for the 5th of next month and I have until May 29 at 5pm to have all the money plus lawyer fee totaling 9,155.30. I have 3,000 of it and my twin said she can come up with 1,200 of it. Please can someone help me I will pay you back. Checking around to different shelters has caused me anxiety that i never experienced. As the days goes by i cant function nor think because I feel helpless with this date clicking away. My 1997 Chevrolet has stopped running. I overpaid $2700.00 for it, and now to fix it, it will cost more than it's value. I live far away from my job where I just started working this week after looking for work for more than four months. So in a nutshell, I'm completely broke.

I decided that the safest route to go would be to buy a scooter, as they're more convenient, there's less likely for something to go wrong, and they're cheaper and better on gas. However, I have absolutely no money to buy one, and since I have no vehicle or transportation what so ever, I won't be able to make it to work, and this will only make my situation worse.

I have found some very nice used scooters for $500 on craigslist nearby. I would so incredibly grateful if you could help me with this $500 and I will have NO problem paying you back $100 or more a month via. paypal until I have paid you off. I can't take out a loan because I'm only 20 and haven't developed enough credit to do so (trust me, I've been down that route).

If you do this for me, I will be able to get to work, by groceries, and keep on going until things get better for me. Also, I was recently accepted into Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and a scooter would be perfect for getting around a place like that.

I recently started my own business which I am running out of my home. I am not making any money. As a matter of fact, it is putting me in the hole more than it is helping me out. I need money to help me out with this situation. I have a 2 year old son that I have to support and it is really hard when i never have more than 200 dollars at a time in my checking account. Just two weeks ago we got the word from the Feds that my daughter would have to begin paying off her education debt to the tune of $1,533.00 per month. This is to bring down a total debt amount of $200,000 + dollars.

Yes, that's $200,000 dollars!! What??? While they are working to determine if this is actually the amount owed, she still has to pay this money back starting on May 28, 2012.

Unfortunately, she is not a doctor, attorney, or any other vocation that allows her to have this kind of money to pay this humongous bill. She is a social worker who makes about $33,000 per year. Although she could seek to get another part-time job her current job does not allow her to do that. Her working hours are 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. many nights (with no overtime - that sucks!!). Last night she did not get home until midnight only to have to be back at work at 8:00 a.m. this morning.

I so want to help her but I am unable to do so at this time because I am retired and am receiving a very small fixed income. I am looking for work myself so that I can help out. In the meantime however, the first payment is due May 28 and I'm (we're) desperate to get some help.

So please, whatever you can share to help her in this dire need would be most appreciated. And, if there is someone who could pay one or two months forward on this, we would surely be forever grateful and thankful for your generous gift.

I will be adding my two cents worth just as soon as I get a job. In the meantime though, whatever you can send to help her pay this bill on Monday, May 28 would help to take some of the pressure off.

You see, if that money is not in the bank by then, they will garnish her next check which means that she won't be able to keep her place to live and her car to get to work. No car - no work. She lives in a rural area and has to drive to get to work. There is no public transportation available and the beat goes on. If she has No place to live - she then becomes a social worker in need of services herself. That would be messy and wouldn't allow her to keep her job. So whatever financial help you can provide will be very much appreciated.

My husband is a disabled, retired Army veteran. About 10 years ago he purchased a camp in Maine that he planned to fix up and move into for his retirement. Unfortunately he has suffered flood damage twice, once he had flood insurance, or thought he did, but the insurance company refused to pay saying they hadn't processed the payment on the day he opened the policy and the flooding occured over the weekend so he was not covered! The second flooding FEMA came in and didn't bother going under the house so they only gave him $800! Both times the flooding destroyed all the insulation and a great deal of work. He now has to jack up the house, have a foundation put in, then level everything in the house. He cannot live there. He applied for an equity loan from the bank as the property is valued at $139K and there is no mortgage. But we have moved to Nevada as I was offered a job here that paid better than back east. We want nothing more than to get this house fixed up in Maine so we can either sell it or possibly retire there. Right now if someone was willing to give an equity loan of $40,000, we would take that instead of begging. Please consider helping us before this Maine house gets flooded again and we lose everything there. If each person who reads this can only give $1, it wouldn't take long to reach our goal and then we could give back in the future!

I find myself embarrassed as I am typing this note. I am a mother of three boys who has been out of work for over 2 years. Every day I beg agencies for work, any type of work! I post my resume and apply for jobs every morning. I owe income tax money, college money, private school tuition, mortgage, gas and electric and the list goes on and on. Hi I am a 25 yr old male, who is a single father. I recently lost my job that I was with for seven years.

I really hate begging, but it's my last hope. I was working full time and just barely staying afloat with my basic bills (electric, rent, car insurance). I got injured at my work a month ago and haven't been able to return to work. It's doctor visit and testing over and over again. I am currently fighting to get workman's comp but they said it may be a while. I am a single mother and a 3 year old.
