I am 24 years old and have hit a huge rut this month. I just started a new job but have less than two weeks to catch up before the next month and bills come along. My insurance is officially cancelled and have few time before my liscense is sent to be suspended but have been paying a little on everything else that's more important like rent,electric, and my new vet bill due to my dog (my kid) being hit by a car. Its like everything went wrong all at the same time. I don't need much to catch up just don't wanna be chasing my bills once again for another month.I owe 200 to the humane society , have to get insurance for my car atleast 150 or more to start and owe 200 on rent. I was a full time student, with a wife and a little baby when a little over a year ago I developed a mental illness. I subsequently was suspended from the University and racked up $70000 in debt from the illness and living expenses. Things are looking like they are turning around I just got admitted to return to school in September, and I have a job until then. In 2008 I got in a car accident in Texas. It was my fault but there were no serious injuries and I had insurance, but I received several tickets. Like not yielding to the right of way, expired license, no inspection, no registration and no seatbelt. A month later my brother committed suicide after long and hard battle against drug addiction. Then another month later my Father past away from a drug related illness. Then two months later I was laid off from my job. Then that same month my car cracked a head. That year was the lowest I have ever been in my life. I just wanted to disappear. I tried to end it but just couldn’t go through with it. So instead of that and instead of facing everything I just ran. Not the smartest thing I know, but I had just lost it. I left my family and friends and I'm not really sure why. I ended up in a small farming town in Arkansas. It was long and hard but I turned my life around. Meet a great guy and got a pretty good job too. It does not pay much but I have enough to pay my bills. Last week I was driving home from work when a state Arkansas trooper pulled me over. I found out my license was suspended in Texas. I called to find out how I could take care of it and I found it was not that big of a deal if I had over $2000.00. I really need some help. It might as well be $2,000,000.00. I don’t have that kind of money. Yes I can set up a payment plan but by the time I’m done paying it off I will have lost my job, because the county it’s in will not lift the hold on my license till its paid in full. Can anyone help me? Please……………..

I’ve never asked for any kind of help before, and certainly not from people that I have never met! But my situation has become so desperate that I really do need help.
I have, for the last 15 years, struggled to make ends meet, following periods of ill-health, bad luck and catastrophic decision making. My circumstances are now very desperate indeed, and have even considered suicide.
In 1997 I suffered from a period of depression, that became so severe that I was forced to give up my job, and borrowed money to cover my mortgage and keep my house. Unfortunately the repayments on this ever increasing debt snowballed, and I found myself unable to meet my mortgage and household bills. I had ploughed my life savings into the home, and lost it all.
In 2006 I was approached by a friend, who was concerned for my financial circumstances, and suggested that we buy an old property, renovate it and sell it for a profit. I was desperate to make some money, and trusted my friend. I would refer you to full details of this in my Beg, as the project ended in complete failure having been ripped off by an unscrupulous builder. Work that should have taken 3 months took in excess of 9, and I ended up carrying out all the work myself. I regularly worked at the house from the early hours until well past midnight. The long hours left me exhausted, and in October 2008 I had a breakdown. I simply couldn’t carry on, and collapsed at work. My employer at the time was an unforgiving and vindictive man, and he said that I would be suspended if my work didn’t improve. I was afraid that I would lose my job, and under considerable psychological pressure from my employer I was forced to resign.
Following the failed business venture, which had plunged me into further debt, my breakdown and subsequent loss of my job, I simply couldn’t cope and pushed me into a long period of depression that became so severe that I planned to take my life. At the time I was so ill that I was unable to hold down a job, and this simply added to my woes - whilst out of work and undergoing intensive counselling I borrowed further. By the end of 2009 I was £15,000 ($23,250) in debt. I desperately want to rebuild my life now, but it is difficult to do so when I am saddled with a debt that is crippling me. Between 2009 and December 2010 my debt increased - there is no answer to it, and I will never ever me able to clear the £18,000 ($27,900) that I now owe. It is a debt that cripples me and prevents me from having a normal, happy life. I am 50 in February 2012, but have no future. I am tired of being worried, stressed, unable to sleep, and being depressed. Please, please help me start my life all over again. Please read my full story, and contact me if you have any questions. In November my wonderful, pregnant fiancé was suspended from her job as a lecturer and escorted from the building in humiliating fashion. She hadn't done anything to deserve this and after all this time and many, many letters later the college has provided no explanations, allegations, or testimonies to support their accusations.

The college has, however, made numerous unlawful actions since then regarding her status - for example, they have provided a risk assessment to prove they have accommodated her needs whilst pregnant except it's signed by everyone apart from my fiancé who has never seen it before in her life.

The final straw was this morning when her employers paid everyone except my fiancé and now we are left to pay all the bills and the mortgage with my low salary; I simply don't earn enough. Not to mention we are expecting our first child in March and whilst this is supposed to be such a happy time for us, it has been the most stressful. Neither of us can sleep properly and it's affecting my performance at work.

We fully intend to take the college to tribunal but that won't happen until the Summer and that's assuming we can afford to pay for a solicitor to take our case on.
We desperately need money to stay afloat or we will lose everything. Anything you can give, even if it's only one pound, will help. Please let me say a heartfelt thank you if you choose to donate.

Hi everyone, I am asking for you help with donations to help my family. My story is one that involves a split family. It starts in 2006 when my ex-wife took my two children away to another city with out my knowledge. Being in the military I was not able to up and relocate to be close to them. Taking on the debt load from the past relationship and marinating a home for myself and children was the start of my struggle. Thru many lawyers and court appointments I received 8 days a month visitation due to the 3.5 hrs distance between us.
3 years pass and I was remarried. Due to the unfortunate loss of my father we came into an inheritance, we were able to balance out our debt and for once we felt some relief. Still with only 8 days a month we yet again went back to court to try and obtain more access in the summer. As with all messy divorces my ex was unwilling to budge and wanted no more than 2 non-consecutive weeks in the summer for access. Luckily for us we were granted a full month each year.
With that good news came notice to us that we were to be posted to the same city my children lived. Once we were posted to the same city the military deemed that I was to deploy to Afghanistan, with this came a lot of training and travel to complete this all while my wife was pregnant with our son. As I know being in the military not everything will go as planed, I missed the birth of my son. Once my rotation was complete we were able to make new attempts to have more access to my children (in the original agreement between my ex-wife and myself we agreed to a set amount for child support).
Once my ex-wife found out about us wanting to have the children 50/50 she asked for an increase in child support and put my two boys into hockey to try and burden us financially. Needless to say hockey is very expensive and with the increase in child support (equivalent to another mortgage) we started to sink into debt again. My wife was unable to work due to child care costs of over $780/month, legal bills thru the roof and a vindictive ex-wife making all attempts to keep me from my children.
As if that wasn’t enough, my lawyer was suspended from practice, my wife’s and my 19 month old has now been diagnosed as possibly having celiac disease.
To sum it up, we are left with $200 per paycheque to buy groceries, gas for the car and anything else that may come up which in turn we needed to rely on our credit cards. Trying to get my children 50/50 is at a stand still now because no lawyer will take us on unless we have $2000 as a retainer, we don’t qualify for legal aid due to the fact that on paper I make too much.
So this is why I have turned to asking for help, to regain financial stability, gain access to my children and try and provide for my 3 boys and remove the stress from my wife. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We thank you for taking the time to read this.

I am 21 years old..my boyfriend and I live with his mother and she is asking us to move out if we don't find jobs within two weeks.

My license got suspended because I couldn't afford insurance. I don't have any alternate modes of transportation and there are no businesses within reasonable walking distance. There's not much work in the area I live in either. We have sold virtually everything we own and all the money went to bills and now we are stuck again. It is winter and we have nowhere else to go if we are kicked out, we will have to resort to living in my car that is falling apart and risk driving illegally. I am stuck. The restaurant I was working for closed for business and left me without a job. I have no car and it's very hard to get around and find work and be able to balance work/school. I need to fix my drivers license it will cost me total only $900. It was suspended because I got a couple minor traffic tickets I didn't pay so I just need to pay them. Over the years the fees and court costs have kept going up. My dad said if I can pay to fix my drivers license he will buy me a car. I've had so much trouble finding work because I mainly cannot get around to get a job. So please... As is typical with PTSD, I did not seek immidiate treatment for the condition, I was going through a divorce, losing everything, and I was unemployed. I started using alot of drugs and alcohol in an attempt to self medicate and I ended up homeless, addicted and in alot of legal trouble. I have since, remarried,my wife and I have 3 children (2 years, 1 year, and new born) and our 1 year old was born 3 months pre mature and has cerebral palsey as well as several other serious medical conditions. I have over 2 years clean and sober now, and I have not had any new criminal charges in 3 years, i recently turned myself in on the last warrant i had and served my jail time and I no longer have any pending legal charges. My problem is this, due to the warrants I had, my drivers license was suspended in 2008 and now that all charges are resolved, I can not afford my re-instatement fee. I am current on the pay plan for all fines and court costs, but with our limited income, our sons medical issues, and my fine payments, on top of regular living expenses (rent, utilities, diapers, food, etc) there is no way I can pay my reinstatement fee's or get a drivers license. I will worry about getting a car later, but I had a CDL before it was suspended and if I can get it back, I know I will be able to increase our income and achieve self sufficiency. I am a married man and a father of 5 beautiful children. Two months ago I was let go from my job @ home depot wich has supported my family for seven years. I have 2 little boys that i love so much and i hope that their life do not get effected because of my stupid mistakes. About a year ago i lost control of my car and crashed into a fence, the problem is i was uninsured and now i am being taking to court for 10,000 U.S dollars.
