The car I'm currently driving has 230,000 miles on it. It's on its last leg.

I've been saving money for a while to buy a car, and so far have saved $1000.

I happened to find a person in my town who is selling a car that is very special to me. It might not be special to anyone else because it's over twenty years old and hardly fashionable or seductive, but I have wanted an old BMW E30 style car for as long as I can remember. Most people want a brand new car, but I would take one of these old BMWs over any new car any day of the week. I am in love with them and have dreamed of owning one forever.

These cars are very hard to come by where I live, and there just happens to be a person in my town who is selling one in excellent condition. The odds of this are mindboggling.

The problem is that he wants $1000 more than I can give him. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me, and I just can't quite make it by myself.

I have exhausted all of my options to come up with the other $1000 and have now shamefully resorted to online begging. If I were to get this car, it truly would make me the happiest person on the entire planet. It might seem silly, but this has been a dream of mine for a long time. I just wish I had the other $1000. It will probably be sold very soon and I know it's materialistic and petty, but it breaks my heart to think I will miss out on it.

I am asking for prayers. I would absolutely LOVE to open a charity or "pay-what-you-can" diner for people who need help. The idea would be to have a benefactor or benefactors who would support the diner, then, once a week, or as often as financing allowed, I could open to the public, including the homeless and those who just need and encouraging home-cooked meal. It would be an honor system. Buffet style meal, pay what you can, after dinner, clean up your table and load your dishes in the dishwasher. Hi, Im Rosa. Im 32, I work full time and live at home so that I can take care of my elderly parents. I have 2 jobs, 1 fulltime (as a secretary) and 1 part-time afterhours work cleaning offices. I believe that we are all responsible for taking care of ourselves and our families. Ive never done this before.

I am raising funds for a human hair natural wig specifically made for Alopecia sufferers. Its a specialty product and very expensive ($700-$900 start price). I am going for the graduated chin length bob style as the longer styles are so expensive.

Every dollar will go towards this, and every dollar counts, please dont feel your contribution wont matter. As someone who budgets my wage down to the last $25 dollars each week, every dollar counts.

I suffer from Alopecia which is unexplained hair loss. I have had this condition for 5 years and it has gradually gotten worse. I have cut my hair very short to minimise fallout, and been to countless doctors and tried every drug and product on the market – all without success. In fact I am paying off a $3000 credit card bill which I spent seeing every specialist I could.

I find going bald at my age humiliating and embarrassing. I work fulltime so its important that I look my best, but thats very hard when you have lost over 45% hair mass. Its inevitable that I will be completely bald except for the back zone which I will probably shave to wear the wig.

Please help me if you can. I sincerely appreciated it.

I am a 42 getting ready to be 43 year old mother of three. I have worked for 9 years 50-60 hours a week since my divorce to support my children. Life was great for my children until the divorce but I refused to have my children be exposed to a life style of drugs and parting once our business was doing well and he stopped coming home and getting in trouble with the law. They went from a happy home of 2500sq ft to a 900sq ft home and paycheck to paycheck for me just to keep the lights on. I made 22 dollars to much to qualify for assistance from the state and have just been told that I much have a surgery in the end of Nov that has put me out of work and I may never be able to walk again never mind work. Back surgery is serious and I have a tumor that has grown around my nerves and attached to my spine. Needless to say I could use some help. I don't want my children to be placed in different family members homes apart from eachother. My father passed when I was 22 and we can't all go stay with my mother in a one bedroom apartment. I am devistated and sometimes hope that I just go peacefully in my sleep in fear of letting my babies down. Their father has moved on and has 2 other children with a person he met in rehab so mine have put on the back burner with refusal to pay court ordered child support. I do have a court date but it has taken me 6 months to get and not sure if I will even be able to attend that date in Jan. I do not have a bank account, hard to do with no money and with the holidays coming I am hoping to have a place to live. At this point even 20 dollars would get my car inspected that I have been driving for 5 month expired hoping not to get stopped.All my children are honor roll students and good kids. I,ve been homeless for the last four years. Luckily living in vet shelters and Good Will. I have been unsuccessful finding work that will maintain a single man, so my time is up, I have exstuished all my resources and am now living in the woods, I've been trying my hand at being a panhandler.
How very dehumanizing, I can maintain work to some extent, but I suffer with anxiety and depression. I wish I had money to open a homeless shelter hear in Cincinnati(in a tube hotel style). I live in the woods because I know whare I'll sleep to night (most shelters are full). I panhandl for food, bus fare, cleaning myslef and clothes. It's a simple life I live. In the words of Rudyard Kipling

There is a job opening in the same town as me that I would like to apply for. It's for a STNA but some places call it CNA. If I can't apply for that job I can apply for others in the area.
There are classes in the area I can take either day, evenings or weekends. The classes range from 2 weeks for day classes to 6 weeks for weekend classes. Any help will be nice.
Hopefully it will be steadier work that working at fast food or retail stores.

hello. im anthony and am in a rough, bad, scared, lost, just horrible situation. I seem to be the black sheep in my family. I have a wonderful family. I graduated High School in 2002. Moved from indiana to california to go to college at UC riverside. California just wasnt for me. So moved back to indiana and went to Ancilla college. I was going to school on a Golf Scholarship. I worked at the local Country Club for many years. Golf was my life. I spent so much time on the Golf Course it kinda seperated me from my family. Well my parents were earning a very decent annual salary working in the RV motorhome business here in Elkhart Ind. Well when the econonmy took a dive my mother lost her job. So she is now working 3 jobs as a waitress. My dad still is employed but the household relationship has taken a huge hit! About 5 years ago I was giving a chance to "GRIP" on a film set (Set Lighting). I loved it! so I decdied to take a chance in the business. Well its becoming a issue! I love what I do but hate the style of my life! I have traveled over 300,000 miles in 5 years. Living outta dufflebags, vans, hotels, closets, etc! I am now back in Indiana for the recent holidays and have broken down and googled "how to get finacial help" and Im going to fill out a "Beg" on all the websites. I dont expect this to work, but I am also not asking for much! If its only .25 or $25 thank you! If you have a job ill do it! Im so used to catching flights to get to that next movie job, so I will honestly catch a flight if your willing to help me! Thanks for taking your time to read this. I don't have the best life style and work day in & day out to achieve what I can. But enough about me...

My mother suffered from Vertigo a couple of years ago & had to have brain surgery. She is starting to feel symptoms and very ill again.

I really want to help her as much as I can finacially, I am even trying to work extra hours and even considering being a lab rat somewhere. But I don't know if that will be enough. Anyones help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I'm Chris, I am 23, an employed college student & I live in southern California.

I am currently living in the Irvine area w/my family. My family is poor to the point of being destitute. I literally do not eat breakfast or lunch since we either do not have food or the food is of such low quality it will make me physically ill to eat it. I buy & only drink distilled water from a local market because it is the only clean source of water available due to contaminants in the public water system as well as the public water is mostly unfiltered reclaimed runoff water.

Educationally I am currently a student that wishes to study culinary arts but is forced to learn networking protocols due to lack of funding. Culinary schools are a specialty school which require a lot of money to attend. I am training for my CCNA+Linux Admin Certs at a local community college.

My first job was to a physician doing medical claims billing part time. This position had me mostly behind a terminal looking at a blinking monitor keeping track of patient records. Starting $8/hr end 9.50/hr. After leaving due to hours being cutback I got a temp job for a company collecting on medical leins. That didn't work out, so a couple months later got a job as a part of the Technical services dept at UCI medical center. Due to having a personal falling out with my parents at the time I was supposed to be hired, I was kicked out. Unable to go to the interview without a car I missed the opportunity until several months later when the position was needed to be filled again. At this point the project that the position was for had already been completed & the final checks were being done. The position only lasted 3 weeks. $15/hr for doing desktop support @ UCI medical center.

After working at UCI a "friend" of mine whom I've known since freshman year of high school told me he could get me a job at his work. Of course after several months of hearing nothing back I realize its just more of the So-cal area bullshit I am so used to.

Since then I have been hired as a model. The agency is setup so that the company accepts models which the models pay into a certain amount ($30) for the service of being sent information on potential upcoming modeling jobs(underwear ads, online catalog modeling etc).

Throughout all of this I've never made enough money to live independently from family financial support due to the unreasonably high cost of living in this area. $800 - $1200 to rent an APARTMENT. $500 - $900 to rent a SINGLE ROOM, NO GUESTS/GF. This amount may or many not include utilities.

The point of the post is to get help. Help by getting donations to help me start a home business in the style of the cottage industry. I have a small business opportunity I could start with $800-$1000 investment that would start me off on the path to independence. Through this I would be selling a specialized product which should net me an income of 3k per month which would allow me to reinvest into the business & provide me with financial independence until I am able to attend a nice Culinary University.

My dream is to be able to attend a nice cooking school & learn to be a skilled Chef.
