Well to start this off I'm a 19 year male living in socal with my family.I grew up poor and we still struggle to make ends meet.My mother is a single parent.As a kid i grew up with an abusing father and two older brothers who would constantly hit me,my mother and sister.They were alcholics and drug addicts.With all this happening at home i began to form a deep depression that made it hard for me to make and keep friends.I also began to have problems with school,I began to fail classes and miss school on a daily baises.Where was I? Home sleeping my life away,wishing I had no exsistance.When finally i dropped out of high school.Things got worse.I became suicidal and began to cut myself to outdue the pain and lonliness i felt in my heart.I kept looking for somthing tho,something that can make things better,anything.Mabe a passion and thats when i met a guy.He was 18 and i was 15.we spent nights together and after 5 months i realized i was in love.He was the only person who cared for me,took care of me and understood what i was going through without judging me unlike all those fake "best" friends.With a little of support i got into counseling.With a counsler i tryed several times to get back into hs but i kept giving up.and now today im still struggling to live my life.This is basically whats going on.Im still depressed and have really low self esteem.Yes im with my boyfriend(3 years :D) i want so badly to get my ged and start college and get a job.But i have a little problem.it sounds silly but,my acne scars prevent me from living my life!!! they make me feel so self consious.and with low self esteem you get where this is going...i have BDD.(Body Dismorphic Disorder) make face in my eyes looks so gross that i never want to go out and do anything productive or fun :( Im scared ill lose my boyfriend soon because we never go out and do anything fun and exciting.he basically has to force me to go out! And i truely just want to get back to school.ugh my story is to long to keep this going so here it is.I grew up in an abusive home.I was malested.I was bullied in school.I was suicidal.And now i just want to be happy.im tired of always being sad everyday.I have low self esteem and i want to do a procedure to get rid of my acne(i have tryed everything even proactive lol) So if anybody can help me raise money to get laser acne removal.i will truely from the bottom of my heart aprciate it.No this is not a scam.I just want to be happy.Please and Thank you.:) Sincerly Fernando V. I'm 30 years old and struggle with social anxiety disorder and depression. I was laid off last month and haven't been able to find another job. I'm the sole breadwinner of the family (me, my mom, and my little sister), so we have no savings and now our bills are past due. Our water and electricity will definitely get cut off if I don't gather $500 before June 14th (water bill is $350 because of a huge leak in the bathroom that I can't afford to fix). I'm persistently trying to get a new job, applying to several open ones each day. I've only had one call back, but I'm hoping to have two jobs soon, however, no matter what, I won't be able to pay those past due bills in time.

I just need some help until I can get employed again, or my mom and little sister and I will not have electricity or running water! I've already pawned everything that I can (except my computer of course, because I need that in order to look for work), so I have no other options.

Please, if you can give anything, help! I need at least $500 before June 14th. Please donate to help out me and my miserable family. I will greatly appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.

Hi. I was honorably discharged from the Air Force in Jan and I am struggling to pay for food, rent, and car bill. I have been eating bread for the past week because I cannot afford anything else. My savings is gone because I have been unable to find a job. I looked to the VA for assistance but I am not qualified. If someone could please help me out, I have $0.35 cents in my account. No way of paying my $917 rent due by the 3rd of June. And my car bill. I will be living in my car if I do not get some help. I've applied for unemployment and food stamps and I am not qualified.
Any help, even if its $1, would help me out greatly. I need food, I do not have enough bread to last me till next week.
I've served my country and I have been left alone to fend for myself. Please help.

Hello to all and thanks for taking time to view my donation page. I'm 24 years old and I just saved up my last and moved to Nashville TN. I have a very promising future ahead with my music career in Audio Production. I'm in a very tight situation because I needed to get away from everybody slowing me down back home in Cleveland Ohio that does not want to see me succeed (including family, my 2 kids mothers, and people I thought were friends.) I've had opportunities at one point to make theme music for up and coming Disney, HGTV, ESPN and other shows just to name a few. Nobody really wanted to see me make it and help fund a Engineer so my dreams could become a reality. With the last of the money I was able to raise, I kissed my kids goodbye and moved to Nashville with a close friend from high school.
I figured that everything happens for a reason and prior to me moving, I found out that she has been out here in TN for almost a year with no furniture (bed, couch, dining-kitchen table) Its just her and her cat in a empty Apt. She has a job doing what she went to school for in the animal vet field but she's only recieving small pay. I know anything beats nothing but what is that for someone who graduated from WVU with a bachelors of science? She has Student loans to pay back to a actual bank, a car note, rent and utilities to pay for all on her own and her family is In Cleveland as well. They aren't fortunate to help the situation and anybody from Cleveland could understand why considering how the economy is.
Being a good friend(especially considering that im allergic to cats and there is no vaccume), I saved my last and moved down here because I figured I could help her as well as help myself. If we are going to struggle, we can struggle together. That's what true friends are for right? I have been here since Easter and it's still hard to adjust. She has a leased vehicle so im not really in the predicament to double up her mileage looking for jobs and going to school in it. Everything is so far apart here.I had intentions on going to school in the fall for Audio Production but one day i called a local school from one of the commercials and I ended up taking a tour the same day. I was so Excited to see the Music Studio that I wanted to start immediately!!! I then found out that I started school the very next month (May 7th to be exact.)
Now I have to find a job to go around my school schedule which is only 3 days a week but Im having trouble figuring out how I will even get to school. The bus system is different than back in Cleveland. In Cleveland, schools give students bus passes and they even get discounted prices for being students. Here is definitely not like that. I'm not complaining because I'm blessed to at least be away from all of the distraction and I'm enrolled into school. Now I'm just worried as to what it will take for us to be comfortable for a change.
I eat ramen noodles and Vienna sausages just about everyday to make food here last. I'm not complaining at all but I'm sure that after while i will start to get sick from this. The noodles have high sodium as well. Just barely making it is an experience that isn't fun and I wish this upon nobody. This is why I'm turning to a donation community.

Things all donations will go towards:

Food for home, Bus passes for my schooling, Furniture for our apartment (I'm seeing alot we can get for less locally on Craigslist), Internet so I can stay active with my production, More Music Equipment (the equipment is so expensive but im in the right state to get it used) and eventually a vehicle so I could get us around and not worry about my roommate going over her mileage.

Seems like I'm asking for a lot but I grew up knowing that everything happens for a reason and that prayer goes a long way. Somebody I met in passing recommended this site hearing me talk about my situation to a relative. Thanks in advance and even 1 dollar is appreciated.

I am a hard worker! I had a child young and my parents were ot very suportive. I have struggled ever since. I graduated from cosmetology 2 days before I had my son. I worked at supercuts which pays hourly. it wasn't enough so I tried to work on commision doing hair I am now bringing in even less. the salon is slower than I thought. I am so scared right now... I don't know how i will pay my bills. I have been going to school as well part time. I feel like this is never ending. I just want a good job that pays the bills. I dont want to realy on my credit card. please help!!! I have experience in hair, sales, computers, payroll.

We are currently finishing construction on a 2.7 million dollar building that will be used as a community center here in Houston to assist with underpriveliged children, to assist in outreach to other homeless individuals,to function as a auxillary primary school, and to assist as we are able with other community needs. Through generous donations from our neighbors, we have built the entire external structure (approx 1.44 million) leaving only a little more than 1 million dollars left to complete the construction. This is a near and dear thing to my heart, as it's location in Northside houston in a impoverished community would mean so much to helping others in and around the houston area. This community building is sponsored by a local church, which has donated the first several hundred thousand dollars, and we are looking to complete it by November of this year, IF possible. All donors (if they ask) will be given a tax receipt for thier donation, as the organization is a 501(c)3 registered non-profit corporation. First let me start off by saying I never knew so many people were in need of help like myself. Ive gone from feeling bad for myself and my situation to just feeling bad. I am 21 years old and need financial help to get there! My entire family is struggling from severe medical conditions so I am unable to work. I am the only family my boyfriend has, because he was raised in a children's home and left by his parents at a very young age. I hate needing to do this, but I need help. I'm looking everyday for a job, while my 9 year old is in school. I take my 4 year old with me because I can't afford a sitter. We walk because I don't have gas money (it'll be repossessed soon, anyway).
I got my eviction notice yesterday. My cable, internet, and phone are all shut off. Electricity will be any day, now. I'm broke and struggling. I don't know what to do, but I'm trying. Please...if you can help.

I am a single mom struggling with the needs of a disabled child. The father is a deadbeat and I am without financial or emotional support. My son needs some medical/exercise equipment to help manage his Sensory Processing Disorder and I just can’t afford it. To work a second job would mean I am away from him when he needs me and the majority of my pay would go to childcare anyway. I see no other solution. I am asking for help meeting the goal of $20k.
