Hello all,

Ok, the universe has finally done it. I've had enough, I can't take anymore.

After having about 5 months of ungodly high electric bills ($400 to almost $500.00 every month!)...I haven't been able to pay those AND our rent and keep up with my other bills.

So, guess what...Today my water and gas got turned off. Straight out of the blue, (they usually let it get to at least $300 or $400 before they will shut you off).

So I usually have time to recover from the "summer rates" of the "electric company" and then get back on track with my water and gas company. Just in time to use the gas for heat.

Not this year, believe me, if it can go wrong, it has for me and my autistic/mildly mentally retarded son this year. I am ready to pull out my hair!

I have been today to every single agency here in town, got referrals to churches, programs, etc. EVERY SINGLE ONE is "out of funds". I have even contacted organizations from the internet, and also programs in other counties from my state!

I could live without it, I could make do.

But how do you explain to an autistic child why the "water" doesn't work when he wants to take a bath. Or why it is "so cold" in the mornings when he is getting ready for school?
