Some moths ago, I came home from a normal day at work, happy to see my two little boys (Josh 3 and Liam 4 months) and what I used to consider my better half. I walked in to find the house empty - no note, no indication of what had happened. I toyed around with calling the police, but it was clear this wasn't a missing persons case, or a robbery or anything else other than what it was. Everything was gone. Phone disconnected, bank accounts cleared out, credit cards closed. Suddenly it was me, the house and the car and nothing else. After a few days of searching, talking to family, friends and yes even filing a police report - not they cared much - I discovered I had been dumped for a guy my wife had been seeing for months. We has only just signed the lease less than a month before, and I thought we were really happy together. There were no signs - nothing that I saw at least. This really isn't the part that hurts, I can live with all this; it's her life and her decision. What really hurts is not seeing my boys.

During the first few days I didn't work, too busy trying to piece together what had gone on and why and how it had come to this right under my nose. The rent still needed to be paid, even though the house was unfurnished and too big for me alone. I was (and still am) locked into the lease! Problem number one.

Problem number two is rather more complex. Last Friday I received two letters. The first from a solicitor (our version of what you would call a lawyer) informing me of divorce proceedings and the second was sent a letter from the Child Support Agency informing me my wife is seeking child support payments from me. Now, I'm no deadbeat dad! I think all parents should pay for their children's needs but here I am - rent on a house I don't need, no furniture (some friends have lent me a TV and cooking utensils and a couch), no money to contest the proceedings and on top of that she wants me to pay child support while she's shacked up and living a 'normal' life with my boys, whom I haven't seen since.

I've seen a solicitor who advised me he wouldn't bill me for the first meeting - we talked about the situation, and what he could do from here... It requires more than I have, to achieve what I want and what I think is fair! All I want to do is split our assets 60/40 her favour (she has the kids). Get out of this lease that I'm legally locked into, and get shared custody of my beautiful little boys. Problem is she has the assets and without a court order to either return a portion to me or divest herself of some of the assets so I can be compensated, I can't pay a solicitor and barrister to get the money to do all this. Once it's all settled I'll happily pay my child support requirements, see my boys and leave her out of my life, seeing that's what she wants.

My solicitor has told me I could be up for as much as $10,000, but $6000 should be a good starting point. His firm wont proceed without knowing they'll be paid - fair enough, but what's a man to do in this situation?

I am literally begging for $6000. I haven't wanted for anything in my life - I've always worked and worked hard for what I had, but when it's all taken away from you, you realise how vulnerable we all are. I'm pledging that whatever I receive from this site that's not used in the case, I will pay forward, to another needy soul from this site. Please help... My heart and thanks, and that of my boys will go out to you.

Update: 6th Jan 2012. I've managed to get the proceedings heard at a later date, due to my personal situation. But nothing has changed. I still don't have the funds to fight this and to date not one response to my plea for help. I'm begging - literally for some assistance. I haven't seen my boys since December and I can't fight this without your help.

Update: 25th May 2012
I have nothing to fight her with. No funds, no will and no motivation. The house has been re-leased and the owner has started legal proceedings against me, I have nothing but what she left me. I am trying my hardest to provide some money for my two kids - that I haven't seen since December. I can't go on like this. No-one can!

I figure no one wants to hear my problems - we all have enough of our own. I'm just looking for generous people who will donate to this poor, unfortunate soul.

I feel very uncomfortable coming like that asking money to people I even do not know. It is the first time of my life to acting this way, but we are so desperate that I decide anything to save my mom. We need help of any good soul to save my mom's life. She is 62 years old, a wonderful woman who worked really hard for her family for long time...she's has a diabetic rethinopathy in both eyes and doctors says she needs a surgery as fast as possible to save her sight. Unfortunately there is no technology appropriate where she is living, so she need to travel to have a chance to get appropriate care. And the cost of the surgery is pretty much expansive that we can not afford it by ourselves. She already lost her autonomy and every single day is playing against her. I am a wise genuinely trustworthy woman and straightshooter..I will not exaggerate to make my situation out to be worse than it is. I have been out of work for a few months and I am in need of approximately

my bad luck started on the way home from adopting my son. our finances were nil from the adoption, but my wife and i were happy with the knowledge that her son was now mine, and the finances would work out. we were WRONG. on the way home, our van died and needed repairs, then all of the overtime i had been working to help pay for things dried up. fast forward two months, now we're on the verge of loosing our home, our gas is off, so we have no hot water and only dried goods for food. the electricity is scheduled to be shut off in a week. and the laptop i tried to sell to make up the money we needed was stolen. if there is a kind soul out there that reads this, we desperatly need $1500 dollars. and i do mean desperate. as in im trying to figure out how to cash in on my life insurance...that desperate. please help!

I have several cronic illnesses. Including scoliosis:Scoliosis is a sideways curvature of the spine that occurs most often during the growth spurt just before puberty. While scoliosis can be caused by conditions such as cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy, the cause of most scoliosis is unknown. My scoliosis curve got worse, the spine rotated and twisted, in addition to curving side to side. This caused the ribs on one side of the body to stick out farther than on the other side. Severe scoliosis can caused back pain and difficulty breathing. In my case In severe scoliosis, the rib cage may press against the lungs and heart, making it more difficult to breathe and harder for the heart to pump.I also experience harsh neurological affects of Muscle weakness, Numbness and Abnormal reflexes. To save my life I had to have surgery.
Surgery involves correcting the curve (although not all the way) and fusing the bones in the curve together. The surgeon lays bone grafts across the exposed surface of each vertebra. These grafts will regenerate, grow into the bone, and fuse the vertebrae together. The bones are held in place with one or two metal rods held down with hooks and screws, helping to support the fusion of the vertebrae.I went through all this at age 13. But now with the onset of sevral more cronic illness complication from the surgery that once saved my life now slowly kill me.
Years later I began getting sicker and sicker by the time I was 20 my spine was degenerating causing horrible pain, I had to have my appendix removed, then gallblader went bad. We never dreamed these all had a common factor. Doctors just shook their head proclaiming :you are just so young for your body to be failing like this". Eventually it was discovered I have Lupus and severe arthritus. Lupus is an autoimmune disease, meaning that the body' s immune system mistakenly attacks healthy organs and tissue. Lupus can affect any part of the body, causing inflammation and damage in joints, skin, kidneys, heart, lungs, blood vessels, or the brain. More than 90% of people with lupus have skin rashes, often triggered by exposure to the sun, and about half have kidney and lung problems. Because lupus affects the joints, it is considered a rheumatic (arthritis) disease.
Upon this discovery things began to make sense. So doctors now knowing why began a body wide check up to see what all has been affected. One test was A bone mineral density (BMD) test measures how much calcium and other types of minerals are present in a section of your bone. Your health care provider uses this test, along with other risk factors, to predict your risk of bone fractures in the future and detect osteoporosis. Bone fracture risk is highest in people with osteoporosis. They found I indeed had osteoporosis at the age of 22. SO now My bones are weaking causing damage areas all over my body, but the most serious being in my spine. Now comes the arthritis/lupus, they see these damaged areas and my own imune system attacks. Eating at the damaged areas creating even more damage, which increases the area the lupus attacks. It is a vicious circle. I have now been treated with medication over 10 yrs. But they can only slow the illness there is no cure, and dure to my scoliosis and the metal rods in my back surgical treatment options are very limited.
The damage is so severe I was decared legally disabled by the age of 23. My only income is SSI. I have to support my children and I on 658.00 a month. Thank God the court issued my ex to pay my rent in lue of child support. I am asking for help to cover upcoming medical bills. In the last 14 months I have had 5 seperate kidney surgery. My right kidney is damaged and I will soon be having a 6th surgery. This one to remove damaged section of the tube that leads from the kidney to bladder. then they will reattach at a higher section of bladder. I will aslo be having several Jaw surgeries. Due to exposure to radiation, osteoperosis a excessive vomiting of stomache acid my teeth are breaking and falling out. The doctor needs to repair what they can and put in inplants for what they cant. This will slow the degineration of my jaw. Without this treatment my jaw is going to cave in. Currently I am only able to eat mushy foods. I have drastically lost weight and my body is stuggling to heal due to the stress, pain and infection. So I hunbly beg of you to help me 1.00 or 50.00 anything would help. These procedures will not only improve my quality of life but aslo help extend my time here on earth just a little ehile longer. I just want to be with my kids as long as I can.Whith each dollar you donate its like adding an hour to my life.....What would you give for a few more hours with the ones you love?

They are 14 and top of her class 3 years in a row, 12 on the honer roll,6, and 2. We have another on the way 4 months along. We own a very run down home with little furniture in it.2 beds a dresser, piano, various end tables and a tv. We can not seem to free up any money after bills. house payment, lights, gas, water and insurance. He holds down a nice job where he started a horrible affair. Our marraige suffers because of that affair that crippled my soul in 08/09. I am embarresed that our 11yr relationship problems have made me extreamly depressed. Hi everyone! My name is Sean Arcand and I am 11 years old. My very bestest friend Maya is our family Golden Retriever mix and she just came back from the vet yesterday.

My mom says Maya needs surgery and her bladder is not working right. I asked my mom if Maya will have her surgery soon but Mom told me she doesn't have the money to pay for the bills.

I cried last night. All night because I knew I wouldn't see Maya for long.

Then Maya came into my room and nuzzled my tummy. I love her so much. But I know without help I will lose her.

This morning Mom told me that if I could find a way to pay for the bills then she will take Maya to the vet for a trantsplant.

Desperately seeking help, I am a disabled older gentleman (50's) on a limited income. Who through much searching has found the Love of my life. However circumstances beyond our control are keeping us apart, since she too has a limited income. I am a model, who is looking to get a lil help with some cosmetic surgery. I have been in magazines, book , and movies. I became a momny, and love my lil ones with all my heart and soul. Upon becoming a mother, I put my career on the back burner. Now that my kids are grown and can be watched my a family member, I am getting back into the swing of modeling, and even have been asked to be on a tv reality show. I am nervous yet excited that the industry is still interested in me, now I just need a lil help gettingbmy body camera ready. Two months ago my partner proposed to me and what I thought was suppose to be the most beautiful day of my life is turning into a nightmare. I had to have surgery and didn't have the time off and ended up loosing my job. My partner is also a full time student and works full-time to support us. We are suppose to be getting married (AUGUST 4, 2012) and if I hadn't started the process and sent out invites I would just cancel until we can afford it. My parent were suppose to help but once they thought about me marrying a woman they quickly bagged out. My partners sister was going to help be then she was deployed to Afghanistan. Which left us stress and crying thinking maybe this is a sign. But I am a true believer that this is my soul mate and that we were brought together for greatness. I have cut back on my wedding sooooo much but still in the need of $5,000.00 I know that people can not give me all of it, but whatever anyone would help me with I will forever be thankful to you.
