I am a College student with a plee for help among many others. I am doing a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Games Development.
But the modeling and game engine software is insanely expensive. I also require a powerful computer for the creation of these games and the use of the powerful modelling software which i need.
My family can not afford this, so i have to work in College on my coursework. I am not able to work at home as the computer we have is not powerful enough. My Family find it exceeding difficult, especially me as it is showing on my grades because of my lack of work that i can hand in. I can not keep up.

I am a High School senior and will be attending a four year college this fall that I have worked very hard to get into. Unfortunately the cost of attending this school is very straining financially on my parents. I am trying to help out any way I can, so I have come here to ask for your help. I would like to purchase a laptop for school to help my parents a little, and as you know laptops and the software that I need for school are expensive. In 2009, I was made homeless by Hurricane Ida in Virginia. That same year, I became disabled with COPD, sciatica and fibromyalgia. It has been a long, slow process of recovery,pain, poverty,and the accompanying humiliation. I have had to give up my car, my cottage, and my job.

However, thanks to the efforts of very dear friends and some self-made luck I finally have a stable living situation, and the strength to embark on a new career as a writer and self-publisher of Spiritual and New Age materials.
Writing is where I find my greatest joy, (followed closely by my painting) and my experiences have given me rewards of perspective that makes the challenges I still contend with somehow worth it. I'm looking to help others find the inner strength and hope that I found through my own crisis.

My computer, however, is almost 8 years old and between the "pages not responsive" and "Chrome has crashed", system crashes and stalls, etc it routinely takes me up to 3 hours to upload anything to the site. I have very limited energy, and this can take up an entire day.
The the age of the machine means that it is limited in terms of upgrades and networking.
I've learned and done all I can to keep it running this long, but now I need a new one if I am going to be able to do the kind of heavy-duty publishing and posting to make it in this field and become self-sufficient.

I am trying to raise money for new computer software and hardware. I broadcast tv shows and movies on a streaming site with a friend. We are in desperate need for new equipment. We are not in a position to upgrade as we need to. We are a 24/7 site and have quite a following and have had some donations but not enough to get what we need. We have been up for almost 2years. im a 17 year old student in desperate need of $500. the reason i need %500 is that i recently started a college course in which software development is 70% of the course, and 40% of that is coding for apple computers and i products which the iPhones Pods etc can only be made using apples Xcode software which is only available for Macintosh computers. my mother has been out of work for a year and a half now and money is really tight, what money we have goes towards my train and bus fairs to college and back, because of this i cant save up enough money to even get close to a Macintosh computer. i would go look for a job myself, but times are tough and college takes up 5 days a week, in which i wake at 5:30AM and set off at 6:50AM and return home at 6pm and the weekends are filled with essays. if anyone can help out i'd be really greatful, this college course means the world to me, its my future and its the just the coolest thing to be involved with, thanks for reading

Thanks for checking out my page. Like everyone on here I'm currently struggling to pay my rent, bills etc and have no money to spare or save. I'm getting married in March to a wonderful Indian man, who lives with me in the UK. His father has recently passed away in India, so his mother will be spending a large proportion of her time staying with us to avoid being alone overseas. My problem is that she speaks little English. I'd love to learn even some basic Hindi phrases to make her feel more at home, but I just can't afford to buy any teach yourself a language at home software. I've some cheaper books which are no help at all. I'd love it if some people could afford to spare a few pounds for me to put towards the Rosetta Stone package to start learning to communicate with my new family.

I'm a 20 year old female graphic design student trying to live my dream. NYC is so expensive and paying for school is soo hard. I have a 3.6 GPA but I don't want to have to quit school because I can't afford it. I try very hard but it seems it is becoming harder and harder. I'm currently a grad student at NYU and exhausted with debt. I can't seem to catch up. I'm working and going to class full time and it's just a lot to handle. I've acquired about $2500 in credit card debt paying for a computer, software, and books.

I am a 38 years old men from Hungary. I had been married for 10 years and I was absolutely satisfied with my life. I loved my wife very much. We had a child, a little sweet boy and we were living in a small apartment. I was never rich, but I was happy.

But in a "nice" spring day a got an unwanted phone call. A women - who has not revealed her name - told me that my wife had a lover and wanted to leave me. And - as it turned out - it was true. To the top of that it also turned out, that my wife was already pregnant from her lover. My whole world collapsed.

I loved my wife very much, I forgave her everything and asked her to remain with me. I promised her that I will accept her baby as my baby. After lengthy inner debate she decided to remain with me. A few months later her baby was born. I loved her little girl, because she was completely innocent. How could I hate her?

As time went by her baby got stronger. I hoped that things would get better. "Time heals all wounds" - as they say. But once, when I got home from work I found an absolutely empty apartment! She moved to her lover and she took my son with her! There was no word to describe my chagrin! I lost my wife, I lost my son, I lost my whole life just one day.

When I recovered myself I started to beg her to come back to me, because I was unable to process the events. A few months later my wife quarreled with her lover and to my greatest surprise she told me that she wanted to come back. I was very-very happy! I felt that I got back my life!

After she moved back with my son I started to look for a bigger apartment, because our old apartment became a bit small to our increased family. I found one which was large enough, but I had to ask for a huge loan from a bank to buy it. After we bought the new big apartment we all moved there and I thought that the dark period of my life was over. I thought that the moving and the nice new apartment will help my wife to distract her thoughts from her swirling and unstable feelings. This was a big mistake. One year later my wife left me again. She came together with her lover again and she moved to him. Fortunately she didn't take my son with her. This was the only consolation for me.

At last - three years ago - we got divorced. Since then my life is very hard. Due to all these events my financial situation is terrible. We are living from only one income. I am raising my son completely alone, no childcare, no family, no friends that can help me. It is not to easy for a men. I have to pay the high cost of the big flat and I have to pay an installment every month to the bank. I have a mortgage on my apartment. If I won't be able to pay the installment we will loose our home! My ex-wife doesn't even want to know about my awful situation although she was the one who caused the problems. I try to struggle out of this situation but I can't. I really work hard as a software developer but my salary in not enough for me to pay all our bills. I can't sell my apartment because of the economic crisis. Now my debt is much more higher than the value of my apartment.

I am not proud of my story. I admit that I was very-very naive. Maybe I should not have to stick to my wife for so long but I really very loved her. Now I am in a big trouble. If anyone could help me I would be grateful!

I'm a freelance graphic/software designer who already has a paying client with a startup also interested in my services, but I'm having trouble performing at my best because I do not have the money for a dedicated work area. There is a coworking office near my apartment that offers space for $350/month, but to work at full capacity I'd really like to buy the equipment I need for a home office, which runs between $3 and $5k. (At a minimum having a larger monitor and a desk would let me do some of the basic design work I need to do: that's $500-1k.)

Please help me by donating whatever you can spare. I am in a legal program at a university. I wouldn't be asking for help if I was still employed. I lost my job two years ago. Over the last two years, like so many people, I have searched for employment, but haven't been able to find steady employment.

I began school a year ago, but now that my unemployment benefits have run out, I am unable to pay for the necessary expenses related to the program such as the final payment on proprietary software which is a necessity. Even my anti-virus software subscription is coming due very soon and I can't afford to renew. My computer itself is on it's last leg and I've struggled through crashes because it can barely handle the any of the newer programs which are power hogs. I've received notice that I must return a piece of equipment that I was renting and therefore must rent or lease to own from another company now that I've reached reached this milestone. The fact that it's a struggle to meet every day expenses is another subject altogether.

I am raising funds for the best software I can buy. I have very painful carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis and fibromyalgia. I make money selling on eBay and Craigslist. My house is in foreclosure and I am doing my best to save it. I have applied for hundreds of jobs and have only gotten some temp, part-time work.
