After undergoing treatments for breast cancer which included chemotherapy, I am still suffering from the side effects. One being the chemo damaged my teeth tremendously which is also affecting my health. I am disabled and do not have dental insurance. I am asking for anyone who is able to help contribute to me to get my teeth fixed. You would think that after have fought and beat cancer I would be smiling from ear-to-ear; but i don't because I am ashamed of my teeth. Please help! Any amount you can give is greatly appreciated. I was married for 4 years to a person who had lied to me about his past and identity. He told me his wife before me was pregnant and killed by a drunk driver, he went to Texas A&M, and that he had earned medals serving as a marine. NONE of it was true. He deserted his first wife as he did me. He never went to college and he ordered medals off the internet. He used my SSN to open an AMEX card online and ran it up into thousands and thousands. I didn't know it existed. My father had to pay it to keep me out of serious trouble. He became physically and verbally violent. Pushed me out of a car on the interstate, held a gun to my head..scared me. I kept everything hidden from the world around me. Tried to keep up my appearance smiling. I tried to get him mental help but he only vanished on me. The divorce was exhausting. I am a first grade teacher, well respected in the community, and it took all I had to get up every morning for my children. I need some money to help me get back into life. Get on my feet. Afford some professional help to heal and move forward, forgive, forget, stop crying and fearing life and people, pay off debt...and to just lift all this burden and be happy again. I just want to be happy and stop crying every morning and night. I can't stand it anymore. I must move forward.

For the first time in my life, I feel like I can make it. I feel shamed and little being on here. But I have only few options now. I start a new job soon, but I need my apartment's security deposit. I will take any cash amount. Please, find it in your heart to help a girl down on her luck, but still smiling for the future. I am asking for any help to get me smiling again. Since being laid-off I have been unable to afford the dental procedures that I need, I have been trying like hell to get into this free dental clinic Ben Massell dental clinic here in Atlanta and they only take the first 25 once per week. If anyone could assist me on getting the help that I need, I would be so grateful and blessed. If you know of any dentist that would help me for free, to donate, pay for any services directly or know of any jobs that will take an intelligent, honest and hardworking person, please let me know.

In recent years I have put so much focus into taking care of the cost of living including rent, car costs, and medical costs for some unexpected health issues. My job does not offer health insurance and when I looked into out of pocket cost I just could not afford it. Health wise I am doing pretty well. But, even with daily care, including brushing, flossing and mouth wash my teeth proceed to decay. I try my hardest to care for my teeth, I do not smoke, I don't regularly drink alcohol, and I invested in a cyber-sonic tooth brush after reading about the over all benefits of using one. I maintain regular normal oral hygiene, but I have defined decay and pain.

I have a family history of poor dentition. When I was a child I used to have enamel treatments in which is they would put a layer of clear acrylic over my teeth once a year. It has been many years since those treatments. Another issue that compacts the pre-existing issues is acid reflux I suffer from while I sleep, which the dentist told me furthers the decay, especially in the back. My teeth desperately need care.

Recently one of my teeth began to hurt, I bought a few over the counter remedies and tried to deal with the pain in hopes it was temporary. The pain persisted so I decided visit a dentist. After examining me he told me the immediate problem was two abscessed teeth both needing root canals. Both teeth combined were $6300. I need far more work than that done and some of my teeth may be beyond repair.

They say the smile is the gateway to the soul. I want to feel comfortable smiling and talking. I don't want to wonder if someone see's my teeth. People shouldn't judge but they do. I just wish I could do what is needed to feel comfortable. At this moment, it seems such a difficult goal to reach. Please help me.

I have been trying to write to Ellen, different Dentists, all trying to find a way to get all of the dental work I need done at once so that I can go a day without pain, and be proud to smile. I grew up in a good family, my parents just didn't pay that much attention to getting up to the dentist and such as much as they should of. I realized when I was starting college that I had quite a bit of dental work that needed to be done, and started going to the dentist. I would leave in tears when they would tell me how much it would cost to get everything done and keep my teeth. I have had to have to teeth pulled, and have more that are basically crumbling. I used to be happy and outgoing, and just always smiling. Now I hate pictures, I hate eating with other people, and I am constantly in pain after I eat. I just thought that if enough people donated a dollar or two maybe it would make a dent, and with a decent amount I could start a serious plan with my dentist. I work full time, and normally am proud to be independant... but sometimes you have to suck it up, swallow your pride, and ask for help. Thanks for reading.

Hi, I'm married, and have 2 children. My wife is unemployed. The amount which I get as salary is not sufficient to run the family. Hence planned for a business. Now I have everything ready, except money. If anyone can help me now to come out of this crisis, please help me. I want my children always smiling.. Thats all I need. Please help..

I live in Miamisburg Ohio with my wife and four young children. The youngest of which was just born on August 26th, 2010. As I write this message, I can't help but feel a wave of guilt and a sense of failure wash over me, because of the intent that this message is being sent. It is, boiled down to it's essence, simply electronic panhandling.....nothing more nothing less.

My wife and I are both college educated and employed, but find ourselves still living paycheck to paycheck. We are not poor and are not in desperate need, there are many hundreds of thousands of others that need more than us, but I can feel the weight of financial burden crushing down upon my shoulders. I do not wish to be rich, famous, or otherwise well off. But I do want to provide for my family, and to have the luxury of enjoying the day to day moments without the fear of financial uncertainty always looming overhead.

I would like to offer a glimpse into our family lives and finally get to the heart of this email....the begging. My wife holds a Master's degree and is employed as a Teacher in the Miamisburg City School district. She teaches a class of moderately to severe multiple-handicapped children. I honestly do not have a clue how she manages to do what she does. She is consistently given the most severely mentally and physically handicapped children because she has a way of reaching these children and getting more out of them than anyone thought possible. I can't count the number of times I've seen her crying as she reads an email from a parent of one of her students as the parent thanks her because they have been able to witness their child smiling and playing in the same manner as his or her typical peers would do. She truly is my hero for the gracious way that she treats these children with kindness and respect even as she comes home every day after being thrown up on, bitten, spit at, urinated on, or any other number of things that happen on a daily basis because of the severe nature of these kids' disabilities.

As for myself, my profession is not nearly as noble as my wife's, I do hold a Bachelor's degree in Material Science and Engineering. I work for a company that does research into air breathing supersonic combustion.

We have four young children, an 8 year old daughter, 5 year old son, 2 year old daughter, and a new baby boy who is only a week old.

This is the part of the message that pains me to write, and I'm not even sure how to go about it. I'm far from an eloquent wordsmith as it is, so to figure out an articulate way to beg for help, is a tough task. So, I'll just be direct and to the point. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, but the magic number that I am asking for is $60,000. That is approximately the amount that my wife and I owe in student loans for the educations that we have received. This would relieve a large amount of debt that we have accrued while trying to better ourselves and provide for our families. We don't have any other credit card debt due to extravagant overspending, as we have always tried to live within our means.

We are middle America, and we ask for your help!

My mom of 70yrs old just had my dad pass away 6mos ago. Mom cant afford her bills because no one will hire her at her age.
