Posted by Iwantalife on 2012-05-24 21:58:34

Well to start this off I'm a 19 year male living in socal with my family.I grew up poor and we still struggle to make ends meet.My mother is a single parent. As a kid i grew up with an abusing father and two older brothers who would constantly hit me,my mother and sister. They were alcholics and drug addicts. With all this happening at home i began to form a deep depression that made it hard for me to make and keep friends.I also began to have problems with school,I began to fail classes and miss school on a daily baises.Where was I? Home sleeping my life away, wishing I had no exsistance. When finally i dropped out of high school.Things got worse.I became suicidal and began to cut myself to outdue the pain and lonliness i felt in my heart.I kept looking for somthing tho, something that can make things better, anything.Mabe a passion and thats when i met a guy.He was 18 and i was 15.we spent nights together and after 5 months i realized i was in love.He was the only person who cared for me,took care of me and understood what i was going through without judging me unlike all those fake "best" friends. With a little of support i got into counseling. With a counsler i tryed several times to get back into hs but i kept giving up.and now today im still struggling to live my life. This is basically whats going on.Im still depressed and have really low self esteem.Yes im with my boyfriend(3 years :D) i want so badly to get my ged and start college and get a job.But i have a little problem.it sounds silly but,my acne scars prevent me from living my life!!! they make me feel so self consious.and with low self esteem you get where this is going...i have BDD.(Body Dismorphic Disorder) make face in my eyes looks so gross that i never want to go out and do anything productive or fun :( Im scared ill lose my boyfriend soon because we never go out and do anything fun and exciting.he basically has to force me to go out! And i truely just want to get back to school.ugh my story is to long to keep this going so here it is.I grew up in an abusive home.I was malested.I was bullied in school.I was suicidal. And now i just want to be happy.im tired of always being sad everyday.I have low self esteem and i want to do a procedure to get rid of my acne(i have tryed everything even proactive lol) So if anybody can help me raise money to get laser acne removal.i will truely from the bottom of my heart aprciate it.No this is not a scam.I just want to be happy. Please and Thank you.:) Sincerly Fernando V. Ps sorry for the bad grammer,im a drop out remember? lol

I am 26 years old and unemployed. I have a little boy who turns 3 next month and a baby on the way. I don't have a job and have been on the hunt for 3 months now. I've been to interviews, career fairs, and job fairs all over. Meanwhile, I am sinking in debt to pay for my bills. My girlfriend and son have moved in with her parents and I am living in my car with an iPad that I go to free wifi spots to communicate. I have used credit cards to pay for my car payment so I have a place to sleep. I am $9000 in credit card debt and now maxed out. I can't lose my car too as I would be completely homeless. I need to get my son and girlfriend a place to live so I can be with them. It is hard for me to ask for something like this because like most other men, we are too prideful. But I don't know what else to do. I don't qualify for unemployment benefits and have absolutely no money. I need help. If anyone could be so kind to help me with a donation through Paypal, I would be more than thankful. I want to be with my family :(

a small home

Posted by isleofview on 2012-05-22 21:58:00

me and my son is renting all our lives.single parent and has unstable income.I really need to have atleast $1500 to build a small house so I can breathe from renting a house. It is getting too much to bear. We usually run out of other basic need because of the house rent. No matter i saved some, it just never get enough. I am tired, I am afraid that we get to sleep on the street one day.I have a small lot I bought years ago..I only worry the cost for a small house. This will mean a lot if anyone out there can help me get started..It's just me and my son. Parents are gone and siblings has the same situation as me. I do not know where to find way. My son is 8 years old and I am 33. thank you very much to anyone with a big heart. every cent count...

Please Bless this home we pray...

Posted by bless_me_please on 2012-05-21 09:58:24

I have no other way to help my 6 yr old son and I. I lost my job and my car was repossessed over a month ago. I have less than 10 days to move due to eviction and no means to do it. I have no family left that can help us. I never thought i would be in this situation.
This time has been trying but I am faithful and hope that I will be Blessed. I do cry at night while my son sleeps so that he does not see my tears. In 9 days I have no idea how I will explain how we have no home or that he can only take with him that which we can hold in our hands.
If you are able to Bless me I thank you and please know that your kindness will be paid forward when I am back on my feet. Even if all you can offer is prayer for my son and myself, I thank you.

Need Money To Prevent Eviction

Posted by HelpACS on 2012-05-20 23:58:53

I really need help, I couldn't sleep tonight. I actually googled , "I am about to get evicted and I need help paying rent" and this website came up so here I am. If this site really works and there is anyone out there willing or able to help I sincerely need you now! My rent including late fee is $725 and as of today I m 21 days late and only have $80. The reason for this is that I work part time and get paid every 2 weeks. While my pay is usually enough to cover this, I did fracture my toe and sprain my ankle 2 weeks ago causing me to miss a week from work. I'm also a freelance designer so I can work from home but I have not received any new projects so no money coming in there.
I am willing to trade services/work for whatever I can get, I design logos, websites and more, you can see my portfolio at raisincanearts.com that way I will be earning instead of begging.... really need help please someone, anyone this is not a scam, I need money any amount helps as long as it brings me closer to that $725 but that is my end goal. I don't have any friends or family that can help me so this is really my last resort. If you need any graphic design in exchange for donation my email is canr.raisincanearts@yahoo.com. Thank you

desperate need for help

Thank you for taking your time to read my letter.

I know this my sound weird to you or it may come across as a scam, I
wouldn't blame you for feeling like that after reading my letter
because if I was in your shoes, I would also feel the same.

I am in a desperate financial situation, January this year I lost my
job due to retrenchment . I have 2 unemployed sisters , we sharing 2
bedroom flat together with my single mother who is also unemployed.
Losing my job has made things very difficult in the family since I was
the only bread winner, I am unable to support them financially ,let
alone keeping up with my rent which I am also 2 months behind. Being
the only man in the house , I decided to take an initiative to seek
financial help from anybody who is willing to learn a helping hand.

I cannot give you an exact figure on how much I need since I don't
know how long it will take for me to get myself a new job so that I
can provide for my family.

In essence , what I am asking from you is to help me with my family
with money to pay for my rent for a few months in advance and buy
enough groceries to last us for some time.

If I am unable to raise the money , my family will continue sleeping
with empty stomachs and it may lead to us  being evicted from the flat
due to none rental payment and we will end up on the street.

I will really appreciate it if you can consider learning a helping
hand , I will also understand if you unable to help.

Thank you so much for taking your time to read my letter.

Regards,

Fire took everything, but our family.

Four months ago, my children and I came home to find alarms, smoke, and fear. The garage next to our apartment building was going up in flames. Knowing that our family car was parked inside, our hearts began to sink. The fire department arrived, and seemed to have the situation under control, until cars parked inside the garage began to explode. The flames reached our apartment building, and it too began to go up in flames. From across the street, our family, and several others, watched our homes disappear behind clouds of black smoke. For the next couple of hours, fireman tried to put out the flames, but by the time the fire was contained, our home was nothing but burnt brick and ash. We thank God that our family wasn’t in the building, and that no other residents were hurt.
We have our family, but we lost everything else. Nothing was salvageable after the fire. Trying to explain that to my two little girls was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. You never realize how much clothing, food, beds, or a teddy bear, mean until you don’t have any of the above. With the blessing of a few local charities, we have been given some clothing and access to food pantries. With the loss of our vehicle, though, I was no longer able to work for my employer. I found another full time job, and am thankful for the opportunity, but I am making far less income now. We now live in a motel. It is close to public transit, and it’s a place to lay our heads.
Local housing agencies have long waiting lists, and cannot help us at this time. We want, so badly, to have a place to call home. My two wonderful little girls have taken this whole situation in such stride. They are thankful and excited for the most basic things, and it makes me so proud. They are what get me through these hard times. We are struggling to keep afloat, and dream of rebuilding our lives. To sleep in your own bed, have the ability to cook dinner on a stove, or write an address on a form, seem like such trivial things, but these are things our family can’t do. I want more than anything to make a new home for my girls.
Our family is asking for the help and kindness of others. We are asking for any help you’re willing to give, so that we can start to get our life back on track. It would be more than a blessing to our family. It would be a home.
