Well to start this off I'm a 19 year male living in socal with my family.I grew up poor and we still struggle to make ends meet.My mother is a single parent.As a kid i grew up with an abusing father and two older brothers who would constantly hit me,my mother and sister.They were alcholics and drug addicts.With all this happening at home i began to form a deep depression that made it hard for me to make and keep friends.I also began to have problems with school,I began to fail classes and miss school on a daily baises.Where was I? Home sleeping my life away,wishing I had no exsistance.When finally i dropped out of high school.Things got worse.I became suicidal and began to cut myself to outdue the pain and lonliness i felt in my heart.I kept looking for somthing tho,something that can make things better,anything.Mabe a passion and thats when i met a guy.He was 18 and i was 15.we spent nights together and after 5 months i realized i was in love.He was the only person who cared for me,took care of me and understood what i was going through without judging me unlike all those fake "best" friends.With a little of support i got into counseling.With a counsler i tryed several times to get back into hs but i kept giving up.and now today im still struggling to live my life.This is basically whats going on.Im still depressed and have really low self esteem.Yes im with my boyfriend(3 years :D) i want so badly to get my ged and start college and get a job.But i have a little problem.it sounds silly but,my acne scars prevent me from living my life!!! they make me feel so self consious.and with low self esteem you get where this is going...i have BDD.(Body Dismorphic Disorder) make face in my eyes looks so gross that i never want to go out and do anything productive or fun :( Im scared ill lose my boyfriend soon because we never go out and do anything fun and exciting.he basically has to force me to go out! And i truely just want to get back to school.ugh my story is to long to keep this going so here it is.I grew up in an abusive home.I was malested.I was bullied in school.I was suicidal.And now i just want to be happy.im tired of always being sad everyday.I have low self esteem and i want to do a procedure to get rid of my acne(i have tryed everything even proactive lol) So if anybody can help me raise money to get laser acne removal.i will truely from the bottom of my heart aprciate it.No this is not a scam.I just want to be happy.Please and Thank you.:) Sincerly Fernando V. I'm 30 years old and struggle with social anxiety disorder and depression. I was laid off last month and haven't been able to find another job. I'm the sole breadwinner of the family (me, my mom, and my little sister), so we have no savings and now our bills are past due. Our water and electricity will definitely get cut off if I don't gather $500 before June 14th (water bill is $350 because of a huge leak in the bathroom that I can't afford to fix). I'm persistently trying to get a new job, applying to several open ones each day. I've only had one call back, but I'm hoping to have two jobs soon, however, no matter what, I won't be able to pay those past due bills in time.

I just need some help until I can get employed again, or my mom and little sister and I will not have electricity or running water! I've already pawned everything that I can (except my computer of course, because I need that in order to look for work), so I have no other options.

Please, if you can give anything, help! I need at least $500 before June 14th. Please donate to help out me and my miserable family. I will greatly appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.

My kid brother needs help! He has End Stage Kidney Failure/Disease the Dr. Office has it where we can get his meds for $20.00 each and he is on 6 different medications. The ones he needs now are the most important ones for his survival. He is just a 29 year old young man who is very sick right now. He goes in 3 times a week to have his blood cleaned just to maintain his life. I am begging as an older sister who is a single mom with no income for either of us; please find it in your heart to help him get his required medications. Every little bit helps! Even if we can get 20 people to give $ 1.00 that would help him get one medication. Thank you for taking the time to read this. My daughter, mother, sister and myself are all that we have left. Lung cancer killed my dad, prostate took my grandfathers, breast took my aunts, colon took my uncles. I have cried everyday, all day. We have very little family and very little money. The funerals costs, the bills, took everything we had. We are flat broke. We are behind in all of our bills, rent,utilities, credit card and we really need help. My daughter is 7 and she cries and understands that we are very poor and we don't know anyone who we can turn to. I am begging with a sincere heart in hopes that any amount can be donated can save our small family and keep us going. I am constantly looking for work, but with my mom fixed income, my sister's disability and a young child I am always needed to get medicine, or to wash and clean my family and care for them. Me my sister and she husband live in rented house, where we share expenses. Recently we found out that my brother in law (my sister’s husband) is dieing of lung cancer . at this point treatment is not an option .all that can be done is keep him as comfortable as is possible until the end .which will not be long from what I am seeing, dr told us it a matter of days now. when he finally goes this will leave a problem . we split the expenses and with out his help I and my sister will not have the money to keep a roof over our heads . so I am posting this to get raise funds to help pays the bills and hopefully keep a roof over my and my sisters head. plus pay the costs of the funeral .

I am entering my senior year of college. I have been working full-time throughout my college career to help support my family--my mother, who has been laid off and unable to find a job that pays as high as she needs, my sister and her daughter (my eight month old niece), who I also babysit whenever possible, and my boyfriend, who also lives with us. We all work as much as we can -- my mother works three jobs. We need assistance, to keep our home, to keep necessary hygienic products and food in our home, to pay college debt, etc. Absolutely anything will help.

I don't know where to start. I signed for a home that was supposed to be a shared mortgage with my sister. But as soon as I bought it she left me. I have been struggling for 2 years now in and out of work to keep it. I love my home I am in need of $30,000 by the end of the month to keep it and so badly need financial help. I'm a college student considering dropping out in order to help my family with the rent and bills that have been piling up. I'm supposed to be taking care of my mum, but instead, she's taking care of me, my drop out sister and drunk of an ex boyfriend, neither of which are willing to help her financially. I have given everything I could, but its still not enough.

I need to get my credit down again so I can start pumping out rent, or we'll lose our place. We've already lost cable and we're shaky on electricity. I recently put 600$ towards an investment where I was supposed to have a table at an art convention, but my table was lost due to an "administrative error" and my investment was completely lost. I've tried making up for it by promoting my art online, but with little success.

Anything would help. Anything.

When my daughter was born in January of 2011 she had to be extracted via a fast emergency c-section. She had been engaged in the birth canal but she disengaged herself and the umbilical cord came out. The doctor was concerned that the cord was strangling her and took my wife to emergency surgery. My daughter survived and is now healthy. My wife developed an infection from the procedure and spent three months with a wound vac and endured two more procedures to try and remove the infection. In the time since I have changed jobs and moved my family back to where I grew up so we could get help with child care for both the baby and her 6 year old half sister from my parents because of the costs of day care. My wife can no longer work. I tried for several months to sell my home. When the opportunity presented itself I moved my family and ceased making the payments on the home I was trying to sell. It is now being foreclosed on. We are covered up with medical bills both from her past before we were married and also from the procedures to stop her infection and also credit card bills that are partially thanks to my ex-wife. After reading through this site I have decided that I guess I am not too proud to ask for help from compassionate people. Please contact me if you have any questions or thoughts on my situation.

Greetings, my family was recently victimized by a terrible theft. My mother and sister had all of their jewelry taken. Much of it had sentimental value class rings, family heirlooms, etc. There were also a number of electronics taken, some with family photos. I also lost a number of things. I was saving up money but that's gone and now it seems like a nightmare. But mostly I feel awful for my mother and sister. I am a struggling single mother of two daughters. I can't afford child care so i cannot work long hours. My moms house is falling apart but can't fix it because of her medical problems. She was diagnosed with cancer on valentines day of 2007. On top of that, my triplet brothers have sever autism, my sister has arachnoiditis and my other sister has Multiple Sclerosis. I try to help my mom around her house but i have my family to take care of also & have a hard time keeping up with the bills. I just need a little help to get us through these times.

I know this my sound weird to you or it may come across as a scam, I
wouldn't blame you for feeling like that after reading my letter
because if I was in your shoes, I would also feel the same.

I am in a desperate financial situation, January this year I lost my
job due to retrenchment . I have 2 unemployed sisters , we sharing 2
bedroom flat together with my single mother who is also unemployed.
Losing my job has made things very difficult in the family since I was
the only bread winner, I am unable to support them financially ,let
alone keeping up with my rent which I am also 2 months behind. Being
the only man in the house , I decided to take an initiative to seek
financial help from anybody who is willing to learn a helping hand.

I cannot give you an exact figure on how much I need since I don't
know how long it will take for me to get myself a new job so that I
can provide for my family.

In essence , what I am asking from you is to help me with my family
with money to pay for my rent for a few months in advance and buy
enough groceries to last us for some time.

If I am unable to raise the money , my family will continue sleeping
with empty stomachs and it may lead to us  being evicted from the flat
due to none rental payment and we will end up on the street.

I will really appreciate it if you can consider learning a helping
hand , I will also understand if you unable to help.

My sister has recently had a newborn baby, she died due to after-birth complecations with her placenta poisoning her, leaving us with a newborn baby girl, no idea who the dad is, funeral costs and need for a bigger house,
please help us by donating so that we can buy the essential baby items we need such as nappies, cot, formula, bottles, clothing, anything. We are a low income family as it is, we have a son of our own and we are trying to find any of his clothes that will fit her but he is nearly 2 now,

I am writing this because my mom has fallen on rough times and I am trying to find ways to help her but am currently running out of options. My mom is a phenomenal person, she raised me and my sister practically single handedly after my dad took off. While she was doing this she put her self through a masters program and achieved her dream job! To top this all off she did this while diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis!!! Well that disease has started taking her down hill and now she is looking to have to retire early because her health is going down to fast, to the point I am very worried. When my dad left, he pulled the medical insurance from under her and now she is left with a mound of debt which she cannot get out of. I have been selling about all my possessions, taking additional jobs etc… to try and find ways I can help more but as I said am out of options and looking for any kind souls to throw anything our way to help her out. I appreciate anything that you can do and thank you for your kindness.

My name is Sadie, I am 25 and I am from the UK. 3 years ago my twin sister went to Australia for 2 months but never came back. She struggled to find work after graduating in England and felt prospects were much better in Australia.

I have always felt like my life is on hold until she returns - but until then I dream of going over there to see her. Maybe even suprise her! She has a new life now but I am desperate to go and see her for a holiday and meet her new friends.

Flights are really expensive - they are at a minimum about £1000. I have been trying to save and have managed to save £125 so far but I am a long way from my goal and would like to see her soon :)

my name is donald an im a 73 year old vetran from the united states air force.I just found out that my sister is dying of cancer they gave her 3 weeks or less.I have no money to go see her an I would really want to. I too am dying of liver cancer an another type of cancer im doing kemo only to prolong my time here they said that if i didnt do the kemo then i would only have a few months give or take but if i do kemo id live forone year. Hello. Im writing this with my pride put aside because i've let the love of my life down as far as im concerned and need help in order to pay the remaining past due rent for this month. This is not easy for me to do because of the overwhelming feeling of failure that just eats me up inside. We have been together for more than 12 yrs now and we have always managed somehow to make it through some extremely difficult times. This women is an Angel of Mercy for those who know her and to her family she is simply the rock. She is 1 of 5 sisters, all having 2 children a piece, and to which all 10 children she has taken in under our roof for extended periods through all the years i've known her. She is the most positive and giving person I have ever met! I LIVE FOR THIS WOMEN and have always reassured her that I could never at any cost, no matter how tough things got, give her reason for serious concern or not be able to get us past any finacial issues no matter how bad it looks. Yes im feeling very sorry for myself because I was a truck driver and lost my job because of an accident that was my fault and where knowone was injured, resulted in a dollar amount that was too high for my company to retain insurance in order for me to continue in thier employment. Week to week we got by and then back in December the freight slowed and my checks that the bulk of our bills and all the rent came out of, was now barely making the household bills. We fell behind Dec and Jan rent and was given such a break from an understanding landlord and we caught up in Feb with every dime of our tax refund given to a thankful landlord but one that stated, from that point on, we must be on time. After all the struggle we went through and the extreme patients and understanding of our landlord....now i've lost my job! We have spent the first half of this month calling and talking to and submitting applications to so many programs for assistance but getting turned away with no solutions. We have no more time and if forced to moved i will have let down the last person on earth that deserves it. Our rent is $675 a month and sent $300 yesterday and it was everything we had. we need $375 and nothing more. if anyone can help, you will find knowone more greatful beyond words can trully express and any additional info needed for your consideration can be provided if requested. I am 38 years
old and have been separated from my
wife for the past 16 months. I have two
children whom I have not been able to
see without being supervised for the
entire time we have been separated. I
was diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes 11
years ago. My wife claims that I am not
a fit parent because of my disease and
that being with me puts my children in
danger. I have been fighting this in
court the entire separation, but I have
the unfortunate disadvantage of going
up against a family that has much more
money and much more power than I. I
came to the United States 16 years ago
from Ireland, where my six brothers and
sister and my parents still reside so I
do not have a lot of support here in
the United States. I am going public
with my story now because I am losing
out on precious time with my children
and there does not seem to be an end in
sight. If I had the money or legal help
to fight this battle, I believe that I
would have won back the right to spend
time with my children long ago. I am
being treated like a criminal because
of my disease. I am not attempting to
gain sole custody, I am only looking
for joint custody with the right to be
able to spend time with my children
without the direct supervision of my
soon to be ex-wife.

I am a sophomore at a local community college. I am currently staying with a family member, since I lost my job 2 years ago. We are about to lose our electric because my sister is the only one working and her income barely covers rent. We have no cable etc at home. I can not start my next semester of college because I owe the school 600 dollars after having to drop 2 classes this past semester because my mother became very ill early in the semester. I was left with her final bills as well. So I just need a break, and anything would be greatly appreciated

I am a single mom living with my parents. I am helping out with the finances as much as I can. My sister is also living with my parents and is unable to find a job. She has 3 kids that are here sometimes. My other sister is graduating college (today) and has so far been unable to get a job. My mom is a retired school teacher and my dad is a soon to be retired farmer as he is no longer capable of the physical labor. As you can see money is VERY tight. My mom has had some major health problems and right now we have a $2300 hospital bill over our head as well as $130 in additional medical bills. She is diabetic and has recently been diagnosed with bleeding retinas and could go blind at any time. I am trying to get the money together to get the hospital paid off so we can take her to the Grand Canyon which has always been her dream.
