I am a struggling 18 year old mom of a 3 year old boy. He is the highlight of my whole day. When he was 9 months old he was diagnosed with AML. I have done everything i can as a parent to fight this disease with my son. I have gotten myselfina ton ofdebt due to hospital bills.The worse thing is that my son was cancer free from 1 1/2till 3 weeks before his third birthday. He started acting really quiet and not really wanting to walk. I put him down for a nap and started seeing bruises on him. I took him into the hospital and they told me that he had relapsed once again. this was devasting news since i am ready so behind in medical bills. They told me that he needs a bone marrow transplant. We are currently on the waiting list for a tansplant and he is at the childrens hospital recieving chemotherapy 3 times a week through iv.I am just asking for any money that people can givetohelp me catch up on these medical bills. I am currently in nursing school and i have a highschool diploma and a job and i still can no even make a dent in my medical bills. Like most twenty-something's in this day and age, I have credit card debt. Oh yes. You wouldn't have guessed it. And like most twenty-something year olds, I'm working full-time slogging my guts out for the little pay that makes being a bin man look worth it. They get paid more. Trust me, I've tried. They have an entrance exam for the local council. As daft as that sounds, I'm not joking.
I got done over by my ex who decided a "system" for roulette was a sure-fire way to make money had more alcohol in his veins than blood. Ditching the sucker was the best half hour conversation I've ever had with anyone in my life.
I moved back in with the parents, wished I'd never left, seriously regretted the tattoos and trying to get on with life but with this debt hanging around my neck like a noose, its exceedingly difficult to do anything else other than worry about the swinging axe over my head.
In the long run, I want to finish my part-time university course and move out of the house - hopefully near a white chocolate ski-slope but I'm not hopeful.
If any of you kind souls wish to help, I'm looking to pay off a chunk of the debt of £10,000. I'm trying every which was possible to save money and at the moment, 80% of my wage each month goes toward getting rid of this weight on my shoulders. 20% goes on Asda Price food stuffs like baked beans, cheap bread made of brick dust and cheese (or at least it resembles cheese).

Please help, it would seriously mean the world to me.

Without telling you my whole life story and perhaps making you cry for hours, I'll highlight some of the big things that led me to this site.

I grew up with one parent. My mother, who struggled to make ends meet working as a CNA. When I was 16 I had two jobs to help with the bills my mom had.

When I was seventeen I was sexually assaulted by a supposed friend and conceived a child which I of course kept. I had my daughter only four days after graduating high school with very good grades.

Went to College for criminal justice in hopes of becoming a law enforcement officer or work at a correctional facility. Then I met a guy I fell in love with, we had a child together. He asked me to Marry him, and then 6 months after we got engaged, left me for someone ten years younger than me.

Here I sit. Single Mom, two kids. I did graduate college, and get a job in my field, however that isn't helping at all with catching up on all the bills my ex left me with and my student loan debt which is in default because I'm going paycheck to paycheck.

I don't qualify for any type of help, I wanted to file bankruptcy however an attorney is at least a thousand dollars which would take me like two years to save up for so I'm trying to file that myself to help my situation. My family is dysfunctional and I have no rich uncles or grandparents.

I dont understand why god thinks I have such strong shoulders! I can't carry this burden of life I have. It seems like there isn't a way out!! I'm facing losing my home, my paychecks that keep me going due to student loan ganishments, and I'm so stressed out I ant even think most days. How did I get here? I ask myself if I'm that bad of a person Karma has to hold me down and suffocate me?

I wish I could get any kind of help in life, even someone to tell me what to do!! I tried donating plasma but they kicked me out because my veins roll, I can't get anyone to hire me for a second job with the hours I work, and damnit my life just flipping sucks!!!!

Filed and completed a Chapter 7 bankruptcy in Jan 2005. Thought that would get me back on my feet. Was affected by Katrina in Aug 2005. Bills and recovery from the hurricane started snowballing and adding up. Lost majority of the house items due to a fallen tree through the roof. Just couldnt catch a break. Managed to get another house even with the bankruptcy, which eventually was foreclosed on. Struggled thru years of money issues and still managed to give 100% to the military. Retired in 2007. Retired pay, nearly half, new it was coming but didnt sink in til it was done. Rated 60% disabled thru the VA. Currently helping 21 year old daughter with cell, auto, and insur, as she attends college. Sadly we are unable to help our 23 year old in college with anything. Luckily, she is very independant and understanding, but the guilt is unbearable. Currently attempting to support our family now including my 18 year old step son with a truck, insur, gas. Wife is out of work. Not enough cs money for food which is supposed to help son from his deadbeat father. Need help to get caught up/ahead, pay off medical bills, and common utilities. Been a very long while since we've had a time to sigh and not have a heavy load on our shoulders. My 21 year old has blessed us with our grand daughter but we can only do so much to help them, nothing extra. We manage to appear happy and the things we do have is it. Have rearranged bills in every way possible and yet again, money spent before the deposit. Any amount would be appreciated. We just need a breather. Please.

I was only sixteen when my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. She was 52. As if Alzheimer's was not unfortunate enough, early onset occurs at a much faster rate than Alzheimer's in an elderly patient. My mother's condition has progressed to the point that she requires a full time chaperone. I am currently 21 and a full time college student seeking a degree in biology and while I would love to assist my family more, my studies often take up the majority of my time. My dad, a nurse, recognizes the importance of a college education and refuses to let me drop out and find a job and help out my mom. Due to the cost of my education and my mom's medical bills, we are having a tough time finding enough money to hire someone to assist my mom while my dad is at work. I am an only child and it seems much of my extended family has turned their back on us.
My dad would kill me if he knew I was doing this and I hate to beg, but I am not sure what else to do. We need help. I can't stand to see my dad so stressed out. He is a champ and, outwardly, he shoulders life's burdens with such grace. I don't want monetary stresses to rob me of the only thing I have left of my little family and I want my dad to be able to retire one day.

I know there are so many people on here, so I have no idea if my beg will even be read. But, I have been in the hospital 2 times since November 19th, for 4-5 days each stay for a massive kidney infection and klebsellia pneumonia in the kidney. My last stay was from Dec. 22nd, to the 26th. (yes, i spent Christmas in the hospital, so my kids opened gifts in my hospital room). Due to the chronic infections, I haven't been able to work. I don't qualify for any financial assistance from the state, and I am behind on my rent. I am in jeopardy of losing my home, because it's a month to month lease. I have a mortgage as well, as i own a modular home. My rent is 230.00 a month, and the mortgage is 258.88, which keeps me at 500.00 a month. I have 3 boys, and they don't deserve to have the worry of losing their home. I am scared and don't know what to do. I have contacted all the community action agencies in my county and surrounding areas. They are all out of funds due to the amount of people out of work. All I know is that I can't loose my lot. If I don't pay my rent, I will be kicked out, and have to move my double wide. That will also cost money I don't have. I am more than willing to give whoever would offer to help me the name, address, and contact information for where I pay my rent. That way the money would go directly to the company, not to me. I will give my email address at the end, and if anyone is able to help, it would be greatly appreciated. Anything is better than what I have now, which is nothing. I also would be more than willing to offer any type of voulenteer services, for legit services if the help comes from someone in my state, Indiana. I don't believe in just getting something for free, I just know I am scared, have a chronic kidney issue, and am willing to do whatever my body will allow me to do if someone can help keep me from losing my home.

I am not the daughter referred to in the title of my post. She is much too proud to beg for anything. I am her boyfriend and I am the one she talks to every night as she cries herself to sleep. I do not wish to be overdramatic in attempts to get money but this is truly what happens each night and it breaks my heart to see her in such pain, what is worse is that I can do nothing to help her accept provide her with comfort.
Her name is Lindsey Hill and all she wants to do is go to college and leave her parent's nest. Her parents have told her that God has told them that she shouldn't be leaving home. They want her to remain in her hometown and go to the local JC. She has lived in her hometown for the last 18 years of her life. Everyone she knew has moved on with their lives and moved out. She was very depressed while living in her home town and does not want to return to live under her parent’s roof where they set strict rules and regulations on everything she does and everywhere she goes.
Because her parents have decreed that their intentions are the will of God they see what they want as absolute truth, therefore they have begun sabotaging every aspect of her financial life in order to prove themselves, and their ultimatums, right and just and get her back home. They have stopped paying for everything. Insurance, phone bills, living expenses, everything. She is 18 and away from home for the first time in her life in a big city and is completely and utterly financially independent. She has worked hard to keep her head above water since she has moved. She even moved down before she could get a job lined up which was a necessity and almost put her on the streets. She is barely getting enough hours at her job to keep a roof over her head. She rents a small bedroom and her dream of going to college to pursue higher education is completely out of the question for her financially.
Her parents say that she has to choose between living a life of sin and labor without education where she is at, or listening to God and coming back to the light. They want her to live with them and go to the local JC or else, they threaten, she will become just like her "messed up" sister who moved out a few years earlier and is now underemployed with no hope of going to school. Her sister left because she couldn't handle living under her parent's insane household. She is a beautiful and brilliant girl but is stuck in a rut in her life due to a lack of support from her parents. She makes enough money to live in a small home and has no intentions of being able to pay for college. Lindsey loves her sister but has big dreams and an amazing head on her shoulders; she does not want her lifestyle to end up like her sister’s.
Her parents will continue to do whatever they can to get their daughter on the streets including guilt tripping her for not visiting but refusing to help her pay for the $200 gas bill that it takes for her to make the trip.
I am not saying that religious people are all crazy. I, myself, am a Christian who studies his bible weekly and is often at church. That is actually how Lindsey and I met. We both try to live Christian lifestyles and we often encourage each other in our faith.
She is a brilliant girl. Only 18 and is exceedingly bright, fiercely compassionate, and a relentlessly hard worker. She is already getting raises at her competitive job but hates it there with a searing passion. She wants to go to school and have a better future but she cannot find any support from her parents. God is telling them to tear her down and bring her back to the nest by any means necessary (of course this is not how they see things) All I know is that these folks desperately need to learn a lesson or they will lead very bitter lives without the company of their amazing daughter. I don’t want that future for any of them!
I do not claim to know the will of God but the one thing he tells me in my heart as I pray is that what Lindsey's parents are doing to her is wrong. Please help me to provide a better future for my beautiful Lindsey. I feel powerless and I want to give her the world. Her parents believe that their will matches Gods and is absolute truth and I need anyone's help to counter this ignorant assault on the future of an amazing woman who is just trying to live her life after spending 18 years in a town she hates with people she is finding it increasingly hard to appreciate. Please help Lindsey go to college.

I am unemployed with 3 kids, 2 in which are in school. My 21 year old son has moved in with us so he could help out. This is just to much for him even though he doesn't complain one bit. He makes minimum wage and I feel so guilty that he feels this burden is his to bear. He deserves to be out and enjoying being young and not trying to take care of my responsibilities. I am asking for some financial help to get my bills caught up, so my son can breathe and maybe keep a roof over our heads. I am a 32 year old working mom of three beautiful children and I have the most wonderful husband anyone could ask for. We have the perfect mid-west life. We both work full time (and enjoy what we do), have a nice home, we're able to afford some luxuries in life although in moderation, that is enough for me. I enjoy cooking, and entertaining in my time off from work, and spending family time with my kids, parents, and neighbors. My children are Jordon (age 13), Logan (age 10), and Brianna (age 9). The kids are active in sports, and in our small community we are well known, and frequently can be seen volunteering at community events, church, and our local high school, of which we are both alumni. I live less than two miles from the home I grew up in. Sounds perfect if you ask me.

On February 18th, 2011 our son Logan (age 10) was diagnosed with a large brain tumor. He was not having many symptoms only occasional headaches. I was concerned that he may have been developing migraines and so I took him to see our family physician. His physical exam was normal including a rather thorough neurological exam. Dr. Arntz agreed with my initial thought and prescribed him some migraine medication. What a relief! He asked us to get a CT scan of Logan's head only as a precaution and he even stated that he didn't think there was any real concern, just a precaution. 5 days later, we were heading to the University of Michigan; Mott's childrens hospital because his precautionary CT scan had confirmed the worst for us. A 6 cm brain tumor in the posterior fossa of Logan's brain. Causing the cerebral spinal fluid to back up and create pressure in his head (hence the headaches).

Before leaving the house for the hospital we gave Logan a brief description of the problem, and explained to him that we didn't know what was going to happen next but we were going to the hospital to find out. You could see the worry on him but he was tough, shrugged his shoulders and said, "Well, I guess I better call it something, I think I'll name it Steve." So off we went, notifying family on the way to the hospital, and completely sick to my stomach.

Three days later we would embark on the scariest days of my life. Logan was promptly scheduled for surgery the following Monday and we were told there was a high probability that the tumor was cancerous. Dr. Cormac Maher performed 14 hours of brain surgery on Logan on Monday February 21st, and confirmed our fears that Logan indeed had a cancerous brain tumor called medulloblastoma. Then more bad news the post operative MRI showed that they had been able to remove all of the tumor and Logan would need more surgery. The next day he underwent another 6 hours of brain surgery. We caught it early but based on where the tumor sat he may not be able to talk or walk normally for 3-6 months. Lucky for us he talks and walks very well all things considered. But there has been radiation therapy and chemo therapy will continue until February or March of next year. There is a 75-80% chance of survivability, I feel blessed with those odds.

Logan is doing very well but this situation has put an incredible financial burden on us. I am falling behind on bills and need help. Andy is working constantly and I even started a second job on the weekends to try to help supplement the lost income from prescriptions, gas to and from the hospital, and just having to take time off work for appointments and Logan's sick days... I don't know what else to do. The banks have tried thankfully to work with us but our circumstance is not going to change for quite awhile longer. Our family's do not have a lot of money, and have already tried to help so much that I think it may be putting a strain on them as well. The church sends gas cards occasionally but there is just not enough to keep us going for the next year.

Here' s the kicker, Logan started his own Relay for Life team. I had taken him to a local expo about 3 weeks after he had been discharged from the hospital because I thought it would be good exercise for him to walk around and there would be lot's to look at, and there was a booth for the American Cancer Society. He walked up to the lady at the booth and he said " How old do you have to be to have a team?" She signed him up on the spot. Logan Bailey's Super Survivors have raised $8300.00 for the American Cancer Society! He's only a little more than $1600.00 away from his goal of raising $10000.00 for the Relay for Life. We've held auctions, bake sales, and concerts. It's been a wonderful distraction for him and he is super excited about reaching that fund-raising goal. We have asked our friends to contribute to his goals in lieu of giving us personal financial assistance. It's more important to me that his endeavors to do more for others, are successful.

We cannot change Logan's circumstance. He will always be a brain cancer survivor, and I will forever be a medullo-mom. But, if we can make this even minutely easier for others having to face it after us then we will do it. Logan donated "Steve the brain tumor" to medical research and he volunteered to participate in a medical research trial for his treatments. We hope that the money raised for the American Cancer Society will make a difference in research and support for anyone suffering with a cancer diagnosis. We hope that the research will make the work of wonderful, selfless, people like Dr. Maher and his team easier and more successful. If I had been diagnosed with this same type of cancer at the age of ten it would have been a terminal diagnosis... the research is working!!

I need help, I need financial help for my family so that we can stop the worrying over finances and concentrate on bringing our entire family through this successfully looking at it in a positive light and remembering that we did it with hearts full of love and with others in mind. Logan is a truly remarkable child and I am so proud of him. I anxiously await your response Thank you for your consideration.

Hello, everyone. I'm a neuroscience undergraduate student at a top fifteen school who is scheduled to graduate this upcoming May. I have a 3.82 GPA at this time and have been involved in research, community-service, and leadership activities during my undergraduate years. I plan on starting my application to medical school this next cycle, but I need to figure out a way to pay for it. Paying for college has been very hard for my family for several reasons: My family is originally from Latin America and so has not had much of a chance to build a savings cushion. In addition, even though both of my parents (divorced) make a decent amount of money, my dad decided to not contribute towards my tuition (he wanted me to attend a school that was closer to him), which left the burden of a $42000/yr tuition on the shoulders of my mother (I've contributed as much as possible). Unfortunately, I have not received financial aid because my school doesn't recognize these circumstances, even though I gave them a signed letter from my father stating his intentions. I want to go to medical school -- I've enjoyed every minute of the time that I've spent shadowing physicians --, but I don't want to burden my mother financially any longer. I respectfully ask for a donation to help me move closer towards my dream of becoming a physician. Any amount will help my cause and will be appreciated tremendously.

Hi... I am a stay at home mom of two kids one 4 year old and a 16 month old.
My eldest, a girl, is about to start school this year in september.

My little girl has always been special and she is the most loving thing on earth. We didn't realize till about 6 months ago that she has a condition called opticnervehypopasia and that she is considered legally blind. The time before that we knew there was something wrong with her but none of the doctors could figure it out until we went to a bigger city in our state to a childrens hospital.
Because of her condition, she is also very small for her age and just isn't thriving like other 4 year olds. She has to take growth hormone shots and thyroid medicine and may need sex hormones later in life.

I hate giving her shots everynight.. she cries and it breaks my heart and i don't do it when my husband is home because it just stresses him out to the point he can't go to sleep. (he also does a lot of overtime.. so him not sleeping is very bad... especially since he has to drive a ways to get to work)

My husband works while i take care of the kids and we are doing the best we can.. but like so many other people these days, we are barely getting by. Some months we aren't. We arent' getting social security or medicaid for disabled children either, everything is tied up in paper work. We have family around us but they have been sick and are struggling financially too.

We can't pay all of our bills and it reallys kills me inside to know that we owe doctors that have helped us and family too, but... can't pay what is due to them. We have had to borrow $50 here $100 there more than a couple of times just to keep the electricity on.

My daughter hasn't had a lot of interaction with other kids her age and as a result she is socially awkward on the rare occasion she does see other children. She watches TV and she says she wants friends and to go to "school". With how things are going now, i'm not sure how my husband and i can make that happen for her.

I really want this badly for her... i just think that denying her this opportunity is just going to delay her developement even further. I have worked with her at home with her numbers, letters, shapes and so on..... and she can read simple words already. but she is such a talkative, outgoing kind of kid that loves to make people laugh that I do feel like at the tender age of 4 she senses that she IS missing out on something already...

And that's what i am hoping someone out there will help us give her. There is a preschool close by where she will be able to socialize and find friends and just be a little kid!

That would also be great for my youngest because that would allow him to be 'the baby' a little more. Since my daughter has had a lot of things going on with her where most of our attention had to be foccused on her since she is a high needs child.

The preschool is 3 hours a day 5 days a week and costs $5 a day and $2 for snacks.

My husband finally got a job after being unemployed for two years, he lost a job of 22 years prior to this. We moved so my husband could take this job and we had to borrow money from my father in law. I would like to repay him so we do not have this burden on our shoulders, he was so nice to help us and he does not have much himself. If anyone could help with any amount we would be so blessed and appreciate the help. As a family of 6 just meeting our normal expenses is so difficult at this time. I've been looking to get a motorcycle, and I found a good condition one that suits my needs and wants perfectly and need 3000 to be able to get it and gear to be safe.

A motorcycle will help me save money because it gets better gas mileage than a Prius. I plan to use it to get to school and sports practice etc., and have a 4.0 and am working on my Eagle Scout.

My parent's aren't always able to drive me around everywhere, and not only would this greatly benefit me, but it would take a burden off their shoulders as well.

I would really love to be debt free. Especially having kids it's so difficult. My bills are piling up and my debt is just getting greater. I have a 7yr old and my youngest boy is 3yrs old and was born deaf. I constantly have to keep taking him to doctor and audiology appointments. He recently had surgery to get an implant and I thank God that we at least had some type of insurance help pay for this and make him able to hear. Because of his surgery and constant appointments, I have been missing alot of days at work. I also thank God that my job is understanding with my situation, but they can only help me so much. It would be so much better to get rid of this weight on my shoulders and at least have something to show for it. I would love to get a car so i wouldn't have to borrow money for transportation or ask people for rides to appointments. At least if my debts are paid i could concentrate on actually getting a car to help me going back and forth.

If anyone can help, any amount, that would be wonderful! I never thought I would do something like this, but when you have kids and they need you, you will do anything to make them happy. I do not want them to always have a memory of their mommy always sad because she couldn't give them a happy and wonderful childhood.

Hi i am Sean Boyd not your typical beggar one of the very proud men, but how things have changed. I will not waste anyones time just let me say that i have always been there to help others and would absolutely go way out of my way to help people with any problem they had. Well today i need that help and there is basically no one i can turn to. I have tried the lotto no luck, i have tried praying, lord how i tried praying still waiting for the answer. My marriage has basically deteriorated to continuous fights and i can actually feel my head dropping lower and lower.
