I am a stay-at-home mom with two adorable children. My husband left me today, taking all the money and the car. AND today is the day I usually buy groceries, so the cupboards are bare. I have never begged for money or help and to be completely honest I hate that I am sitting writing this now, I am normally the kind of person that just gets on and deals with a situation.

I have slipped into a seriously bad financial situation, I lost my job and have got myself into a cycle of payday loans I just cant control the situation anymore. I really need help and quickly.

I am becoming very depressed and have pretty much sold every thing I own to try and raise extra money, it is effecting my relationship and my family are starting to become effected too.

I am a graduating college senior in a bit of a financial predicament.

1. I still don't have my cap and gown. I had one, but my car got stolen and I stupidly hadn't taken it out yet, and when I got my car back it was gone. That's $89.

2. My family is coming for graduation. No one has any money, and I just want to pay for their hotel for one night so they can see me graduate. I'm the first in my family to graduate from a major university, that's $100.

3. I would love to cook a huge meal for my friends and family while they are here for my graduation. I could work wonders with just another $100.

4. My bank account is overdrawn. If it doesn't get paid in two weeks, then I can't get my financial aid from my new graduate program I'm starting in a few weeks. Its my only bank account and I won't qualify for another one because I've made some major financial mistakes while in college. Its $75 overdrawn.

5. My phone bill is due in 6 days. To avoid service interruption, I have to pay 2 months worth of the bill, since I'm behind one month. The full amount due is $175.00.

6. I was lucky enough to find an apartment I can live in for really cheap for the summer, until my full time job I just got starts and I get my financial aid from my program. The deposit for the apartment is $150, and I have the rest of May absolutely free and can even pay the rent of June when I get my financial aid from my grad program.

I have several outstanding medical bills which have not only seriously affected my credit but just make me feel badly, nervous & ashamed they aren't paid yet. One of the biggest is for $200 for a replacement motorized scooter I needed in 2009. My Medicare paid all except this amount & I have been unable to pay it at all. I've always done well in my life I guess, I have always given to charity, and I've always helped others when they've needed money and so forth, I truly believe there is no better satisfaction then being able to help someone through a tough time when they're in need. In fact there was a time last year when I was walking past a homeless man in the street, it was bitterly cold, I bought him lunch so he wouldn't go hungry for a day, just so he could have that few hours of not going hungry, I felt great in being able to genuinely help someone, especially a stranger.

My situation, I suffer from severe depression and an anxiety disorder, which has seen my mental health decline over the past year, I was forced to leave my job and have suffered a mental breakdown which saw me hospitalized for a few days earlier this year, I took an overdose of anti depressants and was seriously ill, I regret it, but we all have a period in our lives where things can get to tough. I've lived off what's left of my wages which has now ran out.

I have ran out of money, I know it takes a lot for someone to extend a hand of kindness in giving just a small amount, but I will be truly grateful to anyone who can extend a helping hand and donate a small bit of money to help me right now.

I posted a beg online because I need help and so far all i have gotten is two guys offering help(Scams). One wanted my name, address, phone number and wanted to send me checks so i could take out some money for myself and and send the rest to orphanage in Canada. The other took me through a long process of how he could know for sure I needed help. He made me believe he was sincere and genuinely willing to help. at the end of the day all he wanted was my bank account info. He said the only way he helps people is thru chase bank wire transfers and credit cards. When I told him I couldn't get a chase bank account he never contacted me again. If somebody is willing to help you they will donate via PayPal. I have not received any help yet but I hate scammers. I may have just gotten on begslist but to attempt to exploit already down on their luck individuals disgust me and If I am ever contacted by another person attempting to scam me I will make it my personal mission in life to demolish their sorry asses. Hello, I am 40 years old and I need help with my mortgage! any help would be greatly appreciated. I have 4 kids ages 5,7,10,and 14. We only have enough money for food and no money for our bills. the mortgage alone is $2,000 per month. In total, we have to pay somewhere around $3,000! We seriously need some help, our electricity will be turned off May 2nd, our rent is due May first and the late fees are $25 per day after the first with no max. Our house is total electric so no heat, air, refrigeration, hot water, or ability to cook once the electric is off. Our credit isn't good enough for anything and the only option is payday loans. We keep having garage sales, however it only provides enough money to get staples (bread, milk, butter, a little gas to get back and forth to work). Like many others I have a job, but it keeps us just over broke. Not enough to deal with a crisis. In one week we learned my mother and father were trying to live off $35 a week. My mother eats a bowl of cereal in the morning and a $1 banquet meal for dinner. She takes care of my ailing father 24/7 who has Alzheimer's. So we decided to make a 10 hour ride one way to go see what we could do to help. We gave them what little extra money we had to fill a deep freezer and pay off a loan with crushing interest! While away we learned that my wife's stepmother is dying from cancer. She has stage 4 lung cancer and isn't expected to make it past the end of the year. We need extra funds for my wife to be able to make the 1800 mile trek to her hometown in NY so she can have the opportunity to say her last goodbyes. To top it all off we purchased a car last year through a company known as JD Byrider, a buy here pay here bad credit dealer with an extra perk, for all the extra money you spend on their vehicles they offer a warranty during the term of the loan. Our JDB car blew a head gasket, this should be covered under terms of the warranty. We had the car towed to the dealer for them to make the necessary repairs. The shop said there was nothing wrong with the car, it just needed an oil change, and it was running fine. I promise you a car that won't do over 60 mph floored on a straight stretch of highway ISN'T fine. So we were forced to trade it in, which cost us an extra $5000, making us negative in our bank. Along with all of this is the need to take care of our three children at home, and constantly having to buy diapers for our grand daughter because her parents can't find work and welfare doesn't give enough cash assistance to keep diapers all month long. We are selling everything we can afford to in order to get out of our current situation, but it won't be enough. Right now we need $725 to make rent and $206 for the electric bill. I can spread other bills out over the course of the month, but these two are critical. We have enough food and just enough money to cover gas for the next two weeks. I am willing to provide services for any donation made. I have very good editing skills, and have helped students go from a D paper to a B+/A- paper without changing the content, merely correcting spelling, punctuation and structure. I'm an actor. I've known this all my life but didn't take it seriously. For years I thought only vain, shallow people went into acting. Or people who were a lot better looking than I am.

Well, now I'm 41 years old and not vain about my looks. I have no illusions about becoming a Hollywood A-lister. I just love the craft, the art of acting and am going back to school for it.

There are very few grants available to acting students. Although I've registered for classes and have been cast in next fall's University production, I'm not sure I'll be able to afford tuition, books and housing.

Ive never done this before so i dont know what to expect from people, i'm just in desperate need of money and am running out of options. Basically me and my parter (21 and 19) moved out together about 5 months ago, she's at college and im still desperately looking for a job. Until now we have been able to just about get by by living off income support, only things have taken a turn for the worst. Our cat Yugi was hit by a car and needed surgery on his leg. I now realized that my financial woes are much worse than before. Now my state forced us to now spend $282.00 in a now state mandated Medicaid spendown that will take a good chunk of our monthly checks that both my husband and I make together. Our combined total is $2,114.00. According to the state, they claimed "We make way beyond the limit". But one thing they don't understand that other expenses takes a good bite of our checks also. Rent is $1,200.00.00. Cell phones, $170.00. Cable/phone/internet, $190.00. Leaving me/us with little or noting to my/our names. What's worse is he is in a nursing home and it's stressfull enough for me already. Carfare is also expensive to see him every day and it all adds up. My family put more financial pressure to help them also and makes me feel small inside because of what I get each month. It's difficult to have substancial amount to for any entertainment purpose. I hate to go anywhere empty. My pets did not get any of their shots because our finances are high and we can't afford it. With all that I had mentioned above, I'm seriously and desperately need financial help at this time. Whatever I'm getting every will never get me by and I'm barely hanging on a string struggling to make ends meet and I get little or no financial help anywhere else, please. I can't live like this.
