We have to pay $315 BY April 29th at midnight or the the next morning our lights will be off and our youngest daughter has sturge-webber syndrome and has seizures so it would be rough with no lights for her she would totally freak out. A yr ago I took in my cousin who is an epileptic, he has grand mal seizures. Supporting two people this last yr has made it that I was able to save any money for emergency situations like this. I am sure you've heard all sorts of stories and this is a last resort for me but I figured I'd give it a try. I am a mother of 4 children with a husband who is disabled due to seizures. Last year he had 36 seizures in 6 hours and was airvacced to a big city hospital out of our town, since then he lost his job and was told he won't be able to work. I have been at home since 2001 and have had a very hard time finding a job here other than maybe babysitting here and tutoring there. We have a great opportunity being offered to us in Texas but we need to come up with the money to relocate our family. I have sold everything we don't need or we can live without but it's still not enough to pay the remainder of our bills here then make the move and get settled there. We have a job offer as well as a house offer but it still takes money to move our belongings and that is what I am asking for help with. I just want to give my children a better life and where we are now that isn't available. Where we want to move to will not only give them better options in schooling,medical care, but it will also give my husband better access to neurologists. We have one son with Spina Bifida and one with growing problems which will soon result in the need for surgery if he doesn't have access to better options. Anything will help!!! We have never had to ever ask for any type of help and have always been the ones people come to when they need help, but now that we have ran out of our savings and we need the help it seems that all of our "friends" have vanished. hello i am a parent of 4 kids and my girlfriend has 2 i have seizures daily my girlfriend has a bad back and can not work nor can i and 2 of our kids have seizures we struggle everyday we pay so much for rent we cant afford a car so that makes getting to a doctor real hard we have bills coming out of our ears so please every little bit help so please give what you can thanks and god bless

My fiance and I were both laid off from our jobs in this past year with no luck finding new ones. My mom has been in and out of the hospital all year with seizures and blood clots. In the past two months my car broke down (unrepairable) and my fiancees car was towed. We were unable to come up with enough money to get it out of the tow yard before they auctioned it off (several thousand dollars).
My mom has worked hard her entire life raising three kids on her own. Last year she was diagnosed with epilepsy and can no longer drive. Around this same time she was laid off from her job. Since she was denied state disability her only source of income at the moment is renting out the spare bedrooms in her house. Because of all of this her home is about to be foreclosed on.
On Tuesday this week she went to the hospital for a blood clot in her leg. During a procedure to remove the clot she started bleeding into her stomach. She has been touch and go for days and while the doctors say they are cautiously optomistic she is far from out of the woods yet.
I'm absolutely terrified that even if my mom makes it through all of this she won't have a house to go home to. Let alone be able to buy basic necesseties. I feel helpless and hopeless that I can't do more to help.
She is my everything, and I am begging for you, a kind-hearted stranger, to please do whatever you can to help us. Thank you.

I'm a 40 year old father of two. My oldest son was oxegen deprived at birth and has seizures and developmental problems. I'm working full time as an apprentice automotive technician. My 2 bedroom hous was build in 1950 and is in disrepair. Although I have been paying on it for 16 years I cannot refinance as my credit is in shambles after my wife of 20 years left me and the kids. She occasionally sends child support but it isn't enough to cover the daycare, medical and other expenses. My drafty house needs work and the roof is in bad shape. My two vehicles are both from the 80s and in constant need of repair. Thankfully I can do repairs myself but cost of parts is sometimes an issue.

I need a miracle. My name is Cristine and I am a 43 year old disabled mother of 4. My husband left me as he could no longer deal with my disabilities, as they cause me to be hospitalized very often. I became ill the 2nd year of my marriage, I was diagnosed with "Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy" and "Status Epilepticus" My husband left me the last time I was hospitalized for a seizure, which was May 21st just 4 days before my 43rd birthday. I came home to find cut off notices for all the utilities, and an eviction notice. My husband took care of, or so I thought, all of the bills. I never knew the bills were not being paid. He is also the payee for my disability check, as I was considered unable to handle my finances due to my memory being affected from the seizures. So now me and my children are living in a motel. The motel takes my whole disability check, so we go to different food pantries when we can to stay stocked up on food. I am unable to obtain a stable residence as my whole check is taken each month and I am unable to save any for a deposit for an apartment or a house, and when and if I am ever able to obtain a residence, I don't know how it's going to work with getting the utilities turned on since I am now in collections. My wife has lupus. As a result we moved across the country to a new state to better her condition. As a consequence, I have not been able to find a job and her insurance is quickly running out. She is getting better, however, she still depends upon a cocktail of medications to ensure her daily well-being.

I have tried for several months to land a job-any job, but with no luck. I am a published author and an historian with a background in archaeology and geology. My wife and I try to lead normal, quiet lives the best we can with her condition. I suffer from epilepsy and as a result I cannot work a night-shift as this will trigger myoclonic seizures.
My wife and I daily make sales on Amazon and eBay and I have been published several times in national publications and have given oral history presentations.

I am trying the best I can in this tempestuous economy to create a healthy, stable home for my wife. However, with the looming threat of limited income and no insurance I can only do so much. I have attempted to create a book dealer business through eBay and Amazon and this has generated some income to supplement my writing income, but this is not enough to support my sick wife.
We try to stay active and engender a healthy lifestyle to encourage her recovery. I am still seeking employment, but as many of you know it is a tough battle. I love my wife very much and am thankful for the care and help she has received thus far. However, I cannot do this alone.

About 2 years ago I started getting ill after moving into a apartment. I am a asthmatic and the 1st year after moving in to my apartment I got bronchitis 7 times, Pneumonia 2 times, 2 colds, 1 flu and mono. I quickly used up all my sick time and had also used up all my FLMA time. One day I had to go to the hospital from work and my employer fired me for it.
I filed for unemployment and won but my Pulmonologist
recommended that I find some other work then call center work due to my respiratory problems. I have a anxiety disorder and recently found out why. I was diagnosed with a hyperactive thyroid and I have a small cyst or growth on my thyroid gland. I started experiencing uncontrolled anxiety and fatigue. I went to counseling for the anxiety but it didn’t help much.
I recently moved out of the apartment that was possibly the cause of some of my respiratory problems because we found mold in the hallway outside of our apartment and believed it was in the building too. I have continued to become frequently ill and my fatigue, anxiety, and asthma are making it impossible for me to find a job. I can’t get disability for my asthma because my O2 levels are not low enough.
We moved into a doublewide manufactured home we bought this with a small settlement I received after a truck ran off the road and hit me when I was putting my then 2 year old into her car seat. I was injured but she luckily was ok. The other driver took off on foot. This happened this winter and even after that I have suffered extreme fatigue. Our old car was totaled out and the car we replaced it with turned out to be a lemon. In less than 3,000 miles it blew the transmission and the rear axel broke. It over heated, and we also replaced the battery, 2 pulleys, and the AC went out.

We spent over $4000 in the different repairs on the car and used all of the money from what we had left from the settlement we were going to use to replace the original roof of our house from 1988. Our roof has already had leaks and needs to be replaced

My wife is trying to find work but she has seizures and can’t drive. My wife has only had 2 jobs her whole life and is having a hard time finding work. Now we are in trouble because we have no income and bills keep coming. My parent’s just filed for bankruptcy and cant help us and my wife’s parents are unemployed.

We also are paying $100.00 per month to pay the fee for breaking the lease at the apartment that was causing me to get sick so often. We still owe $1,100.00

My wife is trying to find work but she has seizures and can’t drive. My wife has only had 2 jobs her whole life and is having a hard time finding work. Now we are in trouble because we have no income and bills keep coming. My parent’s just filed for bankruptcy and cant help us and my wife’s parents are unemployed.

Lot Rent 410.00 per month
Water/trash/sewer $100.00 approximately per month.
Phone and internet for two cell phones $150.00 (my wife and 3 year old have seizures and need a cell phone).
Car and home owner insurance $154.00 per month.
Power bill between $100-$300 per month (I live in phoenix, AZ and it gets hot).
We also are paying $100.00 per month to pay the fee for breaking the lease at the apartment that was causing me to get sick so often. We still owe $1,100.00

To put a new roof on our house will cost about $4,000

I was diagnosed with a hyperactive thyroid and I have a small cyst or growth on my thyroid gland. I started experiencing uncontrolled anxiety and fatigue. I went to counseling for the anxiety but it didn’t help much.
I recently moved out of the apartment that was possibly the cause of some of my respiratory problems because we found mold in the hallway outside of our apartment and believed it was in the building too. I have continued to become frequently ill and my fatigue, anxiety, and asthma are making it impossible for me to find a job. I can’t get disability for my asthma because my O2 levels are not low enough.
