Post a Beg Now!

This is my story from THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE to now May 23 2012.
I am 26 and live on a little island off the uk . when I was 19 I got a loan out to buy a car, the car cost was about £22,000 thats about ($34,546.6) this was the worst diction of my life about 6 months after buying the car, I found myself out of work and unable to pay back the payment, so the loan company that had been charging me for not paying back my debt had now with the charges taken the debt from £20,000 upto about £25,000 ($39,290) then took my car and auctioned it off for £5,000 about ($7,855) this took my debt down to £20,000 . At this point I realized the massive mistake I had made but noticing this didn't change the fact I was in debt and didn't know who I was going to get out. So I did the best I could and to worked and paid off what I could . I have now got my debt down to about £10,000 that is ($15,705) meaning in the last 7 years I have paid £17,000 ($26,710.4) for a car I don't have. I was getting paid about £11,500 ($18051.55) a year and living off about £9,000 a year for food rent/bills and anything else, the thing is i have just lost my job again because of cut backs and there is no work here at the moment so any help would be amazing. See when I was 19 I wanted to go to the USA and do a ski season or some seasonal work but now I want to do some volunteer work but with this debt I am stuck here . The worst part of this all to me is that when I think at I could be £17,000 ($26,710.4) richer had I not brought that car and could be living my dreams and helping other people instead I am stuck in a hole needing the help. If anybody does help me I will be very greatful and will be happy to return the favour in some way .

Thanks again

I am a 42-year-old man with wife and daughter, and I would like to start my own business. I currently live in a rural ohio community where full-time work can be very scarce. I do a lot of seasonal work such as farming, construction and odd jobs. I never turn down any jobs I simply can't afford to! Because work availability can be so unpredictable for me, and things can get pretty rough when no work can be found I decided to go into business selling things online through ebay. I have been doing a lot of research on items such as electronics and clothing among other things that can be bought at or below wholesale and then resold for a profit. What I am asking for is help with start up capitol for purchasing items that I can sell for profit. I am hoping that I can supplement my current income with money made online and who knows? Maybe I could eventually do this full time! I am an honest hard-working man who just wants the chance at a better life for me and my loved ones. As my dear mother once told me, "pennies make dollars" so any donations would be greatly appreciated no matter how large or small. If you have read this far I would like to say thank you for your time and may all good things be yours! startingfromscratch1969@gmail.com

had to sell my laptop to pay rent

Posted by ryanmaine on 2012-02-09 08:58:07

Alright, this stories probably all over this site. Not surprisingly as, from experience, I can say its easy to pick a place to live over a computer when the chips are down. My wife and I moved back to Maine after failing to find work on the drastically overhyped southern job market. I had a seasonal job at best buy but was recently laid off. Long story short, rent had to be paid. A laptop is necessary for me for a lot of reasons. It provides access to the internet, a crucial tool for job hunting. It serves as a word processor for working on writing (I write short stories and comic books) and it also serves as a home recording interface for my meager bedroom musical endeavors. I realize these are all things that could easily be considered trivial or easily remedied, I know what a library is for instance, but I'm still hoping that someone out there might feel like taking a shot in the dark on a stranger in need. I can be reached at ryanbrunswick@hotmail.com, unfortunatly there's a typo in my accounts email and I can't seem to change it.

desperate mom about to lose home and car

Posted by despmomplzhelp on 2011-12-22 20:58:09

Three months ago my husband beat me and left me to be with his stripper girlfriend, leaving me with a teenage daughter, unemployed, and no way to pay the bills. I am now about to have my car reposessed and possibly lose my home due to being behind on my mortgage payments. My daughter just got a part-time job but it's only seasonal, she'll have no way to get there without a car. There is no work in the town where I live, if I can get a bicycle I may be able to get a job in another town, but in the meantime I need help to get caught up on the car payment and mortgage so we don't lose everything and end up in a homeless shelter. $1,000.00 would be enough to get the car payment caught up, or $500.00 for the mortgage. Once we are both employed and have transportation we will be OK, but right now are in danger of losing everything. My daughter cries every night because of what her Dad has done to us.Please, Please help. We have no family to support us through this crisis.Thank you for anything you can do for us.

Help Save my Best friend! Need help with Vet bill!

Posted by KieraKittie on 2011-11-26 18:58:29

I have had Samson for 13 years, (12 years, 9months)We have been through thick and thin together and always pull through. Recently I noticed him pawing his snout after chewing on his chew bones and realizing after a day or two he started rubbing his snout on everything, it was not getting better. So I took him to the vet, and they informed me he has an back Molar Tooth Abscess. They even showed it to me. "ICK" Estimated bill from the vet is $321.86 - $394.36 depending on complications. If anyone can pass this on or even donate a dollar or two, I would be so thankful in so many ways.

The reason I am asking for help on this vet bill is because my fiancee' was just released from the hospital after a week in Critical care and a week in recovery from a past accident and surgery issues sneaking up on him. We have plans to move to a house in Missouri after the first of the year. I quit my job a few weeks early to take care of my fiancee' till he can walk and get around by himself again, which did not leave room for many more surprises such as this vet visit. We managed to save these last few years for the home in Missouri, enough to make my car payment and insurance, move with, and a little to fall back on till I start work down there. Though I am hunting for a holiday/seasonal job in the area. The vet highly suggest this needs to be taken care of now to prevent risk of infection getting into the blood stream.

I'm terrified of him having to be sedated, and even more so of the tooth infection getting worse, I don't want him to be in pain but I need a hand with this bill. We have already cut out Christmas presents this year so we can afford to move. If not, I would of gladly sold them all to pay for his health, but I have nothing left to sell. Samson's mom lived to be18 years old, and though he is old, he is in the prime of his health and you would never guess his age. I want many many many more years with him at my side.

Thank you for your time, holidays are tough on everyone, money is tight all around. I, out of everyone understand that. Anything will help even a $1. I promise in return I will update his progress with how everything goes.

We need to pay off credit cards

Posted by Familymanindebt on 2011-09-11 21:58:41

Hi there,

Let me tell you a little about us. My girlfriend and I have been together for going on 7 years. We have four wonderful children, her 15 year old son and 8 year old son from her marriage, and our 5 year old daughter and 4 year old son.

When we met, she was a manager in a major retail store. We were accustomed to living on the income we had at that time. Her dream is to own a successful restaurant.

Three years ago, she quit her management job to buy a little diner which has seasonal business. Her parents took out a mortgage against their house to help her make a go of it.

Every year I have given her a few thousand out of my income tax refund to get the diner going for the year. At the cost of not paying something off of the credit cards, which grew out of hand because of our getting accustomed to living on a lower income.

Basically, I make about $1500 a month and pay $900 a month to credit cards. She works 14 hours a day 7 days a week, just so the diner can pay for itself. She cannot bring any money home, to help with the household.

We need $85,000 to pay off the credit cards and the loan from her parents. Please help if you can, every dollar makes a difference.

Thank you,
Don

Northwest Gal Seeks Farm Start-up Financing

Posted by hopefulfarmer on 2011-08-28 21:58:56

Hello out there! I am 28, hoping to start a small, organic farm/homestead with my boyfriend, and I am looking for financial assistance in buying land and start-up costs. I have worked on a number of organic vegetable farms, selling both for market and CSA (community supported agriculture, where individuals or families buy a seasonal share and receive weekly boxes of produce). I have some experience with Biodynamic Farming (and intend to study it more), Permacultural design & philosophy, and natural building. I have the knowledge and will, and now I need the start up money!

Ideally I would like to grow medicinal plants (native & non-native) for seed and to sell as starts. I have some experience with this sort of business as well, and would probably start with some basics: lemon balm, peppermint, lavender, milk thistle, Echinacea, etc. We will also begin with a large vegetable garden to supply our own sustenance and to sell produce at a roadside farm-stand or local farmer's market (depending on our location). We will have chickens for eggs and meat, and, after a couple years, I hope to add goats and/or sheep, for milk, meat, and wool. I have learned to spin, and weave (on a four-harness floor loom), and felt, and I hope that we could add to our income with fiber and fiber arts created from our animals. Also interested in soap-making, but don't know much about that yet. Flowers are another potential crop.

We are looking to buy 10-20 acres, probably in the Pacific Northwest. We do have some money for a down payment, and this is a great time to buy property (low mortgage rates and low prices). Other start-up costs will be: building materials for a home, chicken coop, small barn, and fencing; seeds and potting soil; animal feed; fruit tree & perennial herb starts. Anything you could give would help out!! Thank you much, and happy growing!

I am trying!!

I really just need to vent and can't pay to see a therapist right now. First of all I am fucked in the head. My mother was and is emotionally abusive. I was called a bastard, whore, slut, or bitch most of my life. Luckily I wasn't my sister because she gets called a retard because she has dyslexia and a learning disorder. One time my mother asked me when I was about 13 if I wanted to see a match burn twice. I said sure thinking it was a trick of some sort. My mom lit the match blew it out and stuck the match into the top of my hand. The skin built up like it was melting wax. Now that I am an adult I am trying to make things work. I have tried to pay for school on my own for years now having to take loans out every now and then. Getting not the greatest scores in school because I have to work to provide for myself and not getting any help. Even when I have asked. I should clarify my mom paid for a semester of books for me. My parents for some reason feel they need to help my two middle siblings and not the oldest or youngest, I don't understand. I have gone through a couple jobs. I had a job a few years ago that was helping me stay fairly stable and I lost it due to lay offs. I got into a financial hole then since my family wouldn't help and I had a hard time finding a job, and I enrolled in school. Since then I have been working a seasonal job that helps bring in half the bacon. Trying to get myself out of the hole slowly. The last couple years I have been trying to get out of the seasonal job, getting a job year round. Its been hard though since people won't hire me thinking I will be going back to the seasonal job. I collected unemployment the last two years in the off season, so I could make ends meat and try to finish school. Just last Friday the State is trying to get me for insurance fraud. So I have to fight that now too. This spring my car died and the only way to get around was bike or bus, I mostly rode my bike in 100 + weather. Since the bus schedule didn't work with my schedule. I saved a little money and bought and old motorcycle. Now that is starting to cost me more and more $, to keep it running. I have been trying to save money so I can by a car at an auction or something and everything keeps piling up, it feels like. I have to drop my one class this semester so I am better able to buy a vehicle so I can at least get myself to work. If I can find a job. When will things get better? When can I quit fighting so hard? When will my family help me? I am tired there are days I just want to give up. I just need to try harder.

Need help with rent

Posted by mareean on 2011-06-28 18:58:47

I am a single mom with 2 children ages 8 and 11. My husband and I separated last fall and I have struggled to make ends meet ever since and usually manage to get by. He is not able to help much financially as he just returned to seasonal hotel work in May. On May 29th I lost my job of 3 years and have since fallen behind on my rent and utilities. I was counting on getting Unemployment before the rent was due for July but just got word that I will not be eligible due to my dismissal from my job and will need to earn from another employer before they will pay. I am on a waiting list for Section 8 help with my rent and my DHHS caseworker told me that I would not be eligible for TANF until I was without income for 30 days. My last pay was received on June 2nd so I am getting close but my landlord is very strict about the rent being paid on time and threatened eviction when I was 4 days late last month.
So I am very humbly asking for whatever assistance you are able to give me in regards to getting my rent paid ($650) and my electric bill caught up (about $200).
Thank you for your time and generosity.

A little help for a college student.

I am currently going to college for a masters degree in public administration. Right now, I am very far behind in bills and am having trouble paying my rent which is $550 a month. In order to pay my rent I have had to max my credit cards out. I have a seasonal part time job that just opened for the summer. It is only helping a little and I have exhausted searches for other available work that can help me get ahead. Any help you can offer would be appreciated...I know times are hard for everyone.

Anything you can give.

I work a seasonal job and its on an off season, I have not had any luck finding any job to fill the gap. My rent's due date is getting dangerously close and I don't know how I'm going to make it.
anything you can give is appreciated.

I just want to assure you this is not a scam request.

I just posted a request for assistance with travel to my seasonal job up in Alaska, and I want to assure anyone who is able to help me that I am not a scammer. I am a very hard working woman who is trying to not fall deeper into the awful mess of our economy....I do HAVE a job, just no way to get there. I hope everyone who reads this request has the 'best they can' Thanksgiving holiday.

Please help me get back to my job.

I am a 48-yr old seasonal Alaska seafood processor who returned to NM after the salmon season ended in July of this year. I thought I would be able to find work here in NM (as I have done in the past), but no one is hiring... I have exhausted my unemployment benefits, and my job in Alaska starts the beginning of January and the company pays my way from Seattle, but I have no way to get to there for the fly-out date. My family is unable to help me with a bus/train/plane ticket; any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I would like to contribute to this site once I have completed the fishery season so I can help others who find themselves in this type of situation.

$1 donations to help me get ahead of the bills.

Hello, I recently got laid off from my only seasonal job. I am training for a new job right now, but I have $4,000 in unpaid student loans, $2,000 in credit card debt and no savings left. I recently pawned my deceased mother's gold charm bracelet... its killing me inside, but I had to do it. I don't know how long it will take me to get this job, I have to get a separate license, and even then, no guarantees. I would ask you for $1, I will, of course accept anything you can spare, your generosity means the world to me. Thank you.

Cash As Soon As Possible

Hello, I'm a single mom with one daughter. I've been unemployed for a year & recently benefits have run out. I need $200 immediately to cover expenses that I will receive assistance for, but I'm told will take several weeks. Here's where the $177.50 will go: $80 Inhaler - this isn't covered on the prescription benefit card I received & daughter suffers from seasonal ashtma/allergies. $37.50 for school lunch for 3 weeks - I applied for school meal benefit & again that will take several weeks for approval ($2.50 per day); we need non-perishables (toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc.) $20.00, I have use of a car but I need gas money to take her to school until she is assigned a bus (they said they are expediting this)$20, and finally there are school activity fees I owe $20. If you can give $1, $5, $10 or the entire amount, it will give me some breathing room to look for a job. Thank you, Thank you.

Hello, I am 23 years old and I am asking for help to pay off my school loans. I went to school for psych/rehab and disability. I was thinking that i was going to get a good job when i graduated but i didn't. I have been out for about for about 9 months now and just got a regular minimum wage paying job. they barely give you about 15 hours a week though so its really hard. I have a one year old daughter and my man. My man just lost his job about 4 months ago because it was seasonal so its hard to pay the bills as well. but you all know how it is right now with finding a job and all the financial problems, so i wont tell you all my problems. All i am asking is for some help to pay off my loans . I owe about 34,000 for my school loans, and i haven't been able to make any payments due to not having any income. but i surely will appreciate anything. anything will help. Thank you so much for your time and patience. i will accept donations at my pay pal account - which is hopelove2245@gmail.com thanks a lot ! god bless everyone!!

I opened a small retail store almost 3 years ago due to some health issues that would not allow me to work my normal job. Things went good the first year but then in the second the bottome really dropped out of the economy. We all know what has happened since then.
My business is basically seasonal and winter is not the season.
I only need 1000 dollars to keep my business open for another couple months until the weather warms up.
I am willing to pay interest, enter into a payment agreement, whatever.
Can anyone help me out?
