Hello. I lost my job when my daughter with spina bifida got severly burned at her fathers house and she had to go into the hospital. I had to call in less than 2 hours before my shift, and they said if I didnt show up for my shift I would be a no call no show. Im sorry but my daughter comes first. That was 2 months ago. I have been viligently looking for a job since, and finally found one. It is to start on may 21st. To answer eveyones first question, I have pawned my tv and wii to get gad money to look for jobs, and to get my daughter back and fourth to drs appointments, and to get myself back and fourth to drs appointments and surgery, as they are 95% sure I have breast cancer. I will know for sure this week. I tried to take out a title loan, but they wont let me due to no income. I am at the point where begging is my only option as I have no family or friends that can help. I have asked the labor workforce and community action, salvation army, ect, and they cant help. I am nit asking for it to be just given, just a loan til I get paid. If anyone can help, even 5 dollars, it would help. Thank you so much.

I don't really know where to start without it sounding somewhat chat show like. I have no family as such none of whom actually talk with me. My grandparents pretty much raised me. My mother and both brothers left at a young age. Dad was an alcoholic due to his own loss and dealing with his own personal issues..a good man betrayed I guess. Either way I ended up living in hostels from the age of 12.. friends floors etc met a guy fell in''love'' or so I thought he was a drinker also I ended up pregnant alone and had a beautiful child who's now 10. I lost my world yet gained my own new world like we all do. Its been tough. Anyway I've had severe eating disorders from being a child which has been undealt with I need help' I'm in severe debts I'm struggling like crazy and my whole world is collapsing. I have noone. We are getting evicted in june we have food parcels kindly offered to us by the salvation army but we can't have anymore they've stopped all of our benefits which is going to an appeal also at the end of june. I can't get any kind of loan. And I cannot work due to mental health and very bad scholiosis. My son has been my rock throughout all of this I'm not a parasite on the community nor do I wish to be one I just need someone to offer me the opportunity to start laying down some kind of solid foundation to help become the person we all deserve to be. I am in desperate need of help at the moment. I have an eviction coming up and if I don't come up with $793 by next week, I'll be forced to move out with my 4 year old son and live in a homeless shelter for women and their children. I have no family up here. All my family is down south and their facing problems as well. All I have is my car and if I don't come up with the money, I'll be forced to either live in my car or in the shelter from time to time. My unemployment is currently in the works. I'll be receiving 150 every week, but that isn't enough to have the full amount of 700 by next week. Time is running out. A little help would be greatly appreciated. We've tried the Salvation Army and they just told us that they wont have anymore money until next month (June). I've also been to churches, but to no avail :-( Please find it in your heart to help us out. This is my last resort. Thank you for your consideration and time.

I have been having trouble finding a job becauase I think my clothing is old and employers think I am messy, but I'm not! I'm just really poor. I don't need Gucci just walmart or salvation army quality clothes would do. If you can send me clothes or donate anything I would greatly appreciate it. Hey everyone,This is my first time doing this,but I had push aside my pride to seek help.I am a 22 year old female part-time student,and was a full time worker.I currently am seeking help for my utility bills because I lost my job due to my circumstances with an ex boyfriend.He abused me physically and kept showing up to my job,so yeah I was terminated for that and missing days of work due to bruises.Now he's long gone and Im stuff with bills and rent,that I have idea how I will pay.I know if something don't come through for me I will end of at a local Salvation Army and Im not saying that would be a bad thing but It would make my life kinda more difficult than what it already is.I am hoping someone will read my letter and is able to spare atleast 10 or 20 dollars,honestly any amount will be appreciated.Here are my bills listed,I do have 240$ in savings accoun, but not enough to help me through this stressful situation.Rent:400,Water:95,Lights:130,and Gas:99(The gas I can go without since its getting pretty warm.

I have been fostering feral cats in my rented home for about a year. They are desperately hungry pitiful creatures and I provide them with food, beds, blankets and shelters on the property. Now my landlord has decided he wants to sell the home and refuses to renew the lease. We are hoping to raise enough money to be able to buy the house and stay in the home. If we have to leave the property then these poor creatures will be lost and abandoned once again. We have been able to bring in some of the kittens but most of them are ferals and they are not adoptable. Their only hope for survival is to continue to come to us for food and shelter. We spend all the spare money we have to feed them and we just do not have the funds to put a down payment on the house. These cats have come to view the home as a place to eat and sleep and feel safe. So much so that one of them was out and got hit by a car. In the middle of the night with a broken hip she managed to crawl her way back to our house where we are currently nursing her back to health. We feel so guilty abandoning them since they have come to depend on our sanctury and wil be lost and miserable if we move. Please please I appeal to all you animal lovers to help us raise enough money to buy the home and take care of these precious creatures who have been completely abandoned to the world. We are their only salvation. Please help our time is very limited.

Hi...We have never done this before and thought we would give this a try. My husband works for a school district and isnt on salary like teachers. So when the kids are out of school he is off work,which shortens the paycheck every month. I have my own cleaning business and have lost 4 clients since October and we are sinking farther and farther each day. This was the 1st year we had to go to Salvation Army to give our kids a Lil Christmas this year. We are about to lose our vehicle and are behind on rent,water,gas and electric. We are just asking for a "Lil Boost" to get us thru February when we get our tax return back!!!!!!!!

My name is Meya Acuna and I am writing you in hopes that you can (or lead me to someone who can help) help bring a Christmas miracle to pass! I am really putting my faith out here because this is something that I've never done before, but am in desperate need. I am a 30 yr old stay-at-home mother to a 4 yr old and 22 month old and am 5 months pregnant. Having turned 30 I have had a revelation that I am in need of continuing my education to not only help my family financially but to be an inspiration to my children who will one day wonder why I did not live my dreams and get a degree in education.

Over 10 yrs ago I began on the right track attending TCU for a semester but with no funds saved up for college it was soon apparent that I would not be able to finish. Much to my despair, I left Ft. Worth and began living out of my hurt by getting into drugs, lascivious living and just keeping bad company. It wasn't until I met my husband, a PK (or preacher's kid), that I realized what I was missing and that I did have hope and didn't have to carry around the shame and anger at not being able to finish school. I stayed home and worked while he got to go out and travel the world in a Christian band, living his dream while I helped to support us and when he got off the road we decided to begin a family. Well no one told us how hard that would be especially financially and I soon left work to take care of my children because the cost of daycare was too much for us (almost 1200 for the two of them!). My husband lost his job earlier this year due to a bad truck accident that left him needing two surgeries and us on public assistance. But we moved to Seguin and he was able to start work at TPS thank God. It doesnt pay all our bills but we are so thankful! We also moved back here to begin work on a ministry with a focus on our youth. We are big volunteers at our church, always making ourselves available to what needs to be done for not only our families but our community. Most recently we've assisted with our youth at the Daddy/Daughter Dance sponsered by the SPD and the Blue Santa wrapping days. It has been hard on just one income and in the past 2 years we have moved 5 times with our children finally settling in Seguin. I am from Austin and had never lived in a real community of people before. I love it here! Everyone speaks to everyone and it is not so rushed. I'm in awe of how a community is supposed to be! Parades, Holiday Strolls, wow!

This past two weeks we have done things we have never had to do before like seek help from Community Council and Salvation Army for utility assistance and visit the EATS food pantry. I'm thankful they were there but I just never thought in a million years I'd be needing those types of services. This is also what pushed me to go back to school. I need to do something bigger than me to feel that I've accomplished a legacy for my children. I won't let them suffer worry and fear the way we have recently. But I need help.

I'm pleading with you to please help me pay $982.07 to Texas Christian University before January 1st for a Loan that I owe. If I pay this loan off by then I will be free to attend a university with Federal funds to attend classes and began pursuing my Associates Degree in Early Childhood and ultimately a Bachelors in Education. I plan on getting a teaching certification and giving back to the community that helped me by working in a low-income school here and sharing my story through hard work that people helping people can make a difference in someone's life. Again, I'm not asking you for money for me or my family or Christmas presents or any "thing". I am looking to pay directly to TCU in Ft. Worth. None of the funds would go to me. I trust that what we need as a family my God will supply, because He has kept us this long and it's only going to get better. Please be a part of this transition out of a dry place into abundance. I'm humbling myself today by doing this and I trust that if you can or know someone who can, you will help me. Thank you for your time and consideration and I look forward to sharing a good report!

My family and I have fallen on hard times. We have been trying to get caught up on bills since we both lost our jobs earlier in the year. Although we have since found employment, neither of us make enough to pay all of the necessary bills. At this time we are homeless. We had to make a choice to lose the car or to lose our place. We chose to lose the place and not the car because we need the car to go to work and to the doctor. I am asking for someone to please help us. If this is something you can help me with it would be greatly appreciated in more ways then you can imagine! I have a posting on here trying to sell my ex's truck IT IS IN MY NAME so I have tried it all, PLEASE HELP again I DO NOT WANT THE MONEY YOU CAN CALL THE WATER COMPANY THEMSELVES AND DO IT. I am looking for some type of help so that my children don't have to go without a Christmas. I am a divorced mother of three who is not recieving child support anymore from their dead beat father. I worked 60 hours a week until I got sick and have to go in for surery the end of Nov (30th) with a 2-4 week recovery. I have been told I will have a job but that is still to be determinded when I am able to return. I have had to get my parents to pay basic bills in the house but they don't have much either. If anyone could help it would be a great blessing for my children. I do have a truck that is on it's last leg and expired inspection since sept because I can't afford to pay for that either. I am greatful for any help that I can recieve. I have been to the local social services and salvation army but the toys for tots are too late I am told. Hi. I am the mother of Jason Mackey who was born with Nemaline Myopathy Neuromuscular Disease (one of the diseases covered by MDA). Jason is 13, is in a wheelchair, has a trach and ventilator, and has home nursing care.

Each year we give back to our community in some way. We generally contribute as much as we can save for: BACH (Brazoria County Association for Citizens with Handicaps), The Pregnancy Help Center, MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association), and Salvation Army. In addition, we consistently give clothing and household item donations to World In Need.

My family and I are asking for donations for the purchase of a wheelchair van with lift. Any kind gesture from you would be greatly appreciated because we are a low-income, disabled family who doesn't make enough money to finance a van on our own.

In 3 days from this post i am traveling by bus for 12 hours. to the city my mother is in. ( we have been told she is living on the streets now) so i am going to find out if this is true. I managed to get enough money together for my ticket there. have arranged to stay at a salvation army at no charge. WHAT i NEED help with will be coming up with the funds to return home. Can you help PLEASE. cost of the ticket is $89.00 i figure i will be able to collect about 30 of that in recyclable's while i am there.
