Hello, I've never done this before but, I'm desperate.
I'm 19 years old and my family is going through a divorce, my mother never furthered her education and has been a house wife for the entire 20 years they have been married and simply supported my dad and all his pursuits.

When I turned 18 my dad left for a gas station woman he'd known for maybe a total of a few months. Let me state he tried to have an affair with her, it wasn't till my mother confronted him that he said he wanted a divorce; My dad is a repeated cheat, I was never aware of this till the day he left, then all the lies came out of the closet.

We run a small chimney sweep business, the office is located at my mother's as she sets the appointments. She does not receive a pay check because during their marriage it was easier on taxes, they have decided to keep it this way and instead dad just covers the bills.

Now the business is great in the winter but we are in spring now and as you may already know no one uses their fireplace in the middle of warm weather! No they go outside and have bonfires. Now my dad is going blind due to diabetes and simply cannot work, we have hired a friend to do the jobs now while my dad just tells them what needs to be done and oversee's the work to the best of his ability. However, his reputation of leaving his wife and daughter for a woman he barely knows has
gotten around and I've heard the clients say they don't want business from a man like that.
My dad also wants to spend money we do not have, he is trying to sell an old sports car so we can put another work truck on the road, we don't have enough work to keep the one truck going we most certainly can't afford the regular expenses of another! My parent's can't even afford to legally divorce, and he want's a new truck. The one he has is fine, I don't understand why he won't use that money for bills.

Now any money I earn myself I have to give to my parents to help alleviate the burden of the bills, but what I contribute is not enough and now we have received the nasty call from the mortgage that they are foreclosing. While I hand all my savings to my parents can't save for my education, and being homeless will make it almost impossible. I've no famly or friends to turn to and we do not have a shelter here. I'm under the age of 24 so I cannot get any financial aid for school without a legal guardian to sign for me, and my parents refuse to think realistic; When I ask them what are we going to do? they say "Winning the lottery is the only thing that can save us." They have lost hope, I understand things are bad... but is it so bad that they can't help me get financial aid?

We currently need $136,000 to pay the house completely off, I'd love to have that, if you find it in your heart to give us our home I'd never be able to forget it. I'd be forever grateful and I'd love to return the favor someday so please feel free to give me an e-mail to contact.

My name is Donna and my husband,Tom,is a disabled diabetic. He has been diabetic for 20 years and for the past 7 years, he has been totally unable to walk. He gets SSI but it is not much. I ork but only for minimum wage. Our car stopped running on Feb. 14 and we do not have the extra finances or credit to be able to buy another one. As a result, he has not been to a doctor since to get refills on his medicines or insulin needles. He is getting sicker every day. I would like to get out and look for a better job but can't do that either. I have to push him in the road if he wants to go anywhere otherwise, I walk to the grocery store to buy food. We are behind in all of our bills but only a little bit. We just need someone would could help us with a car and a little to pay up our bills. This has been really hard on my husband. He feels depressed and useless because there is nothing he can do to help and is basically stuck in the apartment. Without his medicine, it gets worse every day. His blood sugar has been staying over 600 and I have no way to get it back down to an acceptable level. It is causing havoc with the rest of his body also. We desperately need a car to get him help. We have 3 grown sons but two are barely making it themselves and the third is in the National Guard and going through a divorce so he is unable to help also. Greetings, Me and my family are farmers located in one of the most remote and rugged regions of Himalayas in India where there are no access to roads or transportations. Our home and fields are situated over the mountain approx. 3500 feet above sea level where the weather is unpredictable which makes farming very hard and life unbearable. All the farm work is done manually by hand by the members of my family. We normally grow garlic in small quantities which we sell to sustain the family for a whole year. As there are no access to roads we have to carry the loads on our backs at times 50 to 80 KG to access the nearest road which is couple of hours down the mountain and is a back breaking process. Even to get small food items we have to be going through this exercise everyday for our survival. Our everyday diet consist of five or six rotis (wheat flour and water mixed and roasted like a pancake) with mostly dal (gravy made out of pulse) with occasional rice two times a day. At times we collect wild vegetables from nearby forest to supplement our diet. Because of lack of nutrition our health conditions also suffer many times in a year. Here even today babies are born in the house. Birth is supervised by one of the older village woman as there are no doctors or any qualified medical people. In cases of emergency we have to carry the patient on our back to the road and any medical attention can be gotten 15 kms further down the road. This has resulted in many deaths in past years with young and old.
Since last two years due to changing weather conditions and untimely rainfall our fields could not yield crops properly. We are poor farmers just scrapping through life trying to stay alive. Added to these problems last year three of my family members one of whom is a six month old baby had deteriorating health conditions which needed hospitalisation and medicines which cost us major portion of the money we could earn by selling our crop. Normally we earn about 50,000 INR in a year by selling garlic and we grow small quantities of wheat and corn enough to keep the family through the year. Due to these sufferings and extra expenditure am now in great distress to be even able to buy seeds to grow crop in our field to sustain ourselves. To have one morsel of food has become a nightmare for all of us and we are nine members in the family with two small babies of 8 months and two years. The future of our survival looks very bleak given the conditions and lack of health and finance to tend the field.
I would be highly grateful if your goodselves would consider me and my family a worthy cause to extend your help to us with 5000 USD which I can use to buy necessary seeds for the crops, few essential medications, a mule for transportation, fix the leaking roof of our home, do little maintenance to our field for yielding more crop and get me, my family andour field back on track as our field is the only source of our survival. Hi, Im a married father of 4 great kids. We live in up state SC. I found this and thought I would give it a try. We live a simple life. We dont have a cable bill, or a car payment. We drive older cars with over 200K miles. (I do most all my own repairs) We only go out to eat on birthdays. We dont go to movies. So you can see we save where ever possible. Having 2 kids in college is a real stretch to our finances. When one of our kids fell asleep and ran off the road it did a lot of damage to our car (theyre ok) but it really put us behind in our finances.

My fiance and I have been through it all in the last year and a half. We met almost two years ago, and it was love at first sight. We had found our other halves. We were both in the process of divorce, and knew we had a long road ahead of us. Little did we know, it was going to get much worse. After his awful settlement, in which he lost the fight for his kids, he was then wrongfully terminated from his job last September. While all of this was going on, I was battling ovarian cysts and the uncertainty of my health. We have wanted nothing more than to celebrate a new beginning with our families, but have been struggling to make the bills, while balancing each of our 4 children. There is so much more to our story that has led me to this website and this plea. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. We have almost finished planning a small wedding and are going to have to cancel it, if we cannot find help with the reception and the photographer. We already had to cancel the honeymoon, and lost a $700 deposit on that. Everything else is paid for, and would all be a loss, should we need to cancel. Our children, our families, our friends, want nothing more than to see us start our new life together the right way. I have found my happily ever after, but unfortunately we don't all come from kingdoms far, far away. We are looking at a donation of $8,000 for help with the costs. I'm not sure where to even begin. In the last year we have hit many of bumps in our road. We were rear ended in Oct 2011 after my fiancee lost his job due to a surgery on his shoulder. We then were forced to take the very small insurance check to move into a small one bedroom apartment from a lovely house we lived in. Due to eviction because of loss of job and car. I unfortunately haven't been much help, I've been disabled since May 2011 with chronic back pain, and am currently recovering from a gallbladder removal surgery. I'm fighting for disability with no luck, and due to insurance laws (the type we had) didnt cover much of anything. We are struggling to keep our heads above water right now, and it doesn't help that we just got hit with a water bill we didn't expect. hi please help me since i left school age 16 iv been employed as a road worker im now 24 and have had in all that time 4 days off work total. I work 6 days a week 7.00 til 5.00 and i work to the best of my ability never causing trouble to make sure i can afford the important things like food rent heating and have never asked for a handout but just before xmas i started experiencing trouble with my breathing and get a bad cough. I couldnt afford to take time off work as i dont get sick pay and any medical visits our also none payable so i jsut fort through the trouble and it started to get better until last weekendf when my breathing trouble got a lot worse to the point that as my fiancce drove me to the hospital i was unable to talk and was close to passing out due to lack of oxygen on arrival i was russhed into a and e and into the medical assement unit where i remained for the next 4 hours i was then moved onto a ward and told that i had pnemonia and that i would be required to stay in hospital for 3 days and then would have to rest at home for a further 2 weeks meaning i would miss 15 days of work and 15 days of pay. Unfortunatly i work in a company where alot of workers would abuse the sick pay benefit so it got written out of our contracts years ago. i was never one to do this but if i wanted to keep my job i was forced to sign this contracrt now im worrying if i dnt go back to work now i wnt be able to afford rent food heating but also if i do go back i may make myself worse and end up back in hospital its catch 22 please if you can give anything i would be grateful. thanks you in advance

I was in the hospital for months fighting this and was told I would not live. I am lucky to be alive 15 years later. However the staph damaged my heart. It enlarged it and over time I developed heart failure in 2004. Then I became diabetic in 2005. The staph also destroyed bone in my chest. I had to have my sternum removed. I also developed irregular heart beats leaving me dizzy most of the time. This left me disabled on Social Security and medicare (which I appreciate but dont like being on "the system .. its wrong). Before this I always work 60 to 100 hours a week. Which also contributed my poor health. In 2008 I had my second heart attack (a minor one). It was actually lucky for me. Doctors installed a defibrillator with pacing technology. My dizzy spells were finally under control. Since then I have been working hard to build strength so I can go back to work and have a normal productive life. My car ..is no longer road worthy. Needs about $2300 in repairs. Now I have trouble making appointments to my Cardiologist, primary care Physician and physical therapy. This year i have missed 6 doctors appointments and had to stop all therapy. I also have trouble picking up medication on time so i go with out them sometimes up to a week. I get $1500/mo from Social Security. $96 of that goes toward medicare insurance premium. My rent is $500/mo. My medications are $400/mo and that is with prescription help. With out that help my meds are $1476. My utilities run $400/on average. The rest I spend on food, car insurance and medical bills ($3000 which i pay $25 to $100/mo when i can). I am asking for any help. If I don't get help my health will continue to decline. I will die within a year or two. I just starting gaining muscles back in my legs and arms I still have a long way to go. I need to get cardiac therapy to make my heart stronger. Doctors installed a defibrillator with pacing technology. My dizzy spells were finally under control. Since then I have been working hard to build strength so I can go back to work and have a normal productive life. My car ..is no longer road worthy. Needs about $2300 in repairs. Now I have trouble making appointments to my Cardiologist, primary care Physician and physical therapy. This year i have missed 6 doctors appointments and had to stop all therapy. I also have trouble picking up medication on time so i go with out them sometimes up to a week. I get $1500/mo from Social Security. $96 of that goes toward medicare insurance premium. My rent is $500/mo. My medications are $400/mo and that is with prescription help. With out that help my meds are $1476. My utilities run $400/on average. The rest I spend on food, car insurance and medical bills ($3000 which i pay $25 to $100/mo when i can). I am asking for any help. If I don't get help my health will continue to decline. I will die within a year or two. I just starting gaining muscles back in my legs and arms I still have a long way to go. I need to get cardiac therapy to make my heart stronger. It isn't something I can do at home because I need to be monitored the whole time. Please help. Time is important I have already lost 5 months of therapy and i am getting weaker. I beg you. Please.

Long story short. My car is not road worthy. It does not pass inspections. Needs bodywork, tires, exhaust, Windshield. Normally I wouldnt ask. But i am disabled and cant walk to doctors appointments, to get meds, go to therapy. I am getting sicker because i cant do these things. My car needs about $2300 in repairs. Thank you

I am a 48yo male. I have had a heart condition since i was 21. About 15 years ago I went for heart surgery and got a staph infection in my chest. I was in the hospital for months fighting this and was told I would not live. I am lucky to be alive 15 years later. However the staph damaged my heart. It enlarged it and over time I developed heart failure in 2004. Then I became diabetic in 2005. The staph also destroyed bone in my chest. I had to have my sternum removed.
