I'm a rising senior and i need help paying for a class in summer school and the total cost is $1385. I need this one class in order to be able to graduate with the 2013 class. I have two kids and I'm struggling. Any amount donated will be very helpful and useful.

Training at work going well but need a car for further training and husband's health is getting worse every day. Sugar is staying over 660 and blood pressure is rising without that medication also. Now is at 220/190. Don't know what I am going to do. Had to walk to store 3 times the other day to get groceries and, in Florida, it is getting hotter all of the time. Not to mention the rain now too. I really hate to ask anyone for help or "beg" but I really,really need help getting a car.

I'm a college student from Portugal seeking help so I can stay in college. For the past two years, despite working, having my parents do two jobs and having student loans a lot of debt has kept rising. I currently have overdue bills, tuition and rent. Despite trying hard to try and save as much as I can cutting back on some things I still reached a point of no return. In the next two or three months the debt will be too high and going for too long and I will have to cancel my college registration and start paying the student loans, witch in my current situation and with the debt that I have I won't be able too. I do not need a lot of money to get things going. With 3000$-3500$ I would be able to pay my overdue bills and tuition, pay the rent and ease the pressure my parents are having to help me. With this amount the 450$ I earn each month would be enough to pay for the monthly bills, rent and food. And I would be able to save up until next year's tuition.

My sitiutation is not uncommon. I was promised to be re-hired and my employer decided to hire someone less experienced than me instead. Leaving me with no options as my field of work experience for the last 10 years has been in 'groundskeeping'. And all prospective employers have already hired their crews.
I live 12 miles outside the major city and with the rising cost of gas it is almost impossible to drive in to seek work on a daily basis. I have been going in 2 to 3 times a week with no results.
My monthly bills are begining to pile up on me. My 1990 Jeep is in fair shape, though it needs repairs.
I have 6 weeks to get caught up and meet my obligations which now total $2500.00.
Anything given would be so very much appreciated.

I have roughly 100,000 in student debt. I graduated with a 3.8, and I have been systematically denied employment post graduation. The system is broken, and i need you to help me get out from under it so that I can get on with my life. Any amount is helpful. Do something positive for this country and aid me. It benefits nobody to let students languish in debt and bad credit. 50000 would rid me of the private loans that I needed to make tuition above the federally available funding. I never spent a dime of it on housing or food; it all went to school and books. My husband and I could get on with our life, start a family, pay our taxes, and pay for health insurance. It's a civic duty to insure that the youth of this country are allowed to succeed; not be crushed under debt. We have the skills, you have the capital. 99%? What about the 49%?

I do not believe I have any dedicated followers to this blog that I started about a week ago. I have added to the end of my blogs a donate button and I feel I need to justify the decision to do so. That is what this blog is about, and it probably should have been my first post.

It seems like there are three groups of people in America.

There is the rich. They get tax breaks simply for being rich. The philosophy is that if they spend less on taxes then they will invest it into production and buying stuff and it will “trickle down.” I am all for it if it works. But it doesn’t. They have had their tax breaks for about ten years and there isn’t anything trickling down my way.

Then there is the very poor. They claim to be incapable of working 40 hours a week because of mental or physical issues. They don’t get up very early in the morning, they don’t worry about the way they look. They collect social security, food stamps, unemployment and whatever else they can get for free. I know there are some people that legitimately can not work but I think there are a great deal of people that can and choose not to.

Instead of the 99% movement lets start a 49% movement.1% is uber-wealthy. About 50% pay no taxes and/or are a drain on our society. So that leaves 49%. I am the 49 percent and that fucking sucks! We can’t get ahead and we can’t get a hand.

Let me tell you a little more about myself. I work 60+ hours as a salesperson, which is non-commission based position. There are some things we can sell and if we sell it at a certain margin we can get a “spiff.” Unfortunately I sell building materials and not a lot of people are building right now. Also the the things that you can get a spiff on are high-end items that are difficult to sell in a good economy. I still try like hell though. In the interest of getting as many hours as possible there is no job I will not do or that is too menial. I will sell, I will work out in the yard and drive a forklift, do deliveries, stack lumber, shovel snow, sweep, empty trash, stock shelves, answer the phone,work the register or anything else that will keep me from getting sent home or laid off.

I started this blog about a week ago. I was looking for another way to make money doing something I enjoyed in my “spare” time. As well as working 60 hours a week I am also a divorced dad that takes his kids every weekend. So there isn’t a whole lot of time for a second job. I looked into the Ebay thing and realized I really don’t have anything left to sell.

Also looked into doing surveys. On average you can get a dollar for each 45-60 minute survey you take. I still do this occasionally. If I have time and can find a few that I feel are worth my time. Any little amount helps.

I thought I might eventually be able to monetize this blog by putting up enough content to get advertisers interested. It will probably take several months and a lot of writing before this might be possible. Until then I will keep the donate button on here.

My point here is that I started looking for a way to get my head back above water a week ago and things have gotten far worse since then. I went to the grocery store yesterday and in my estimation prices have gone up close to 25% on most of the things I buy. In a week!

And the price of gas....

My job is about a 25 minute commute from where I live. There is no public transportation where I live and I do not think a 25 minute commute is unreasonable. But even with a car that gets 28 miles to the gallon and gas prices being what they are it is a huge strain on the wallet. They are talking about the price of gas going up twenty cents over one weekend! I topped off yesterday in the hopes of saving two bucks.


I don’t have the answers but it seems like this system of government and politics doesn’t work. We elect a Republican for 4-8 years and when they fail to fix everything we elect a Democrat. They don’t make our problems go away either and in another 4-8 years we try another Republican and so on. Its like having two cartons of milk in the refrigerator. You take a sip of one carton and its sour, you take a sip from the other carton and it is sour too. So you try the first carton again. What? It’s still sour? Weird. Maybe we should try the second carton again....

Come on people! Can’t we get together? We need to throw out the rotten fucking milk, get off our dead asses and get down to the store and buy some fresh fucking milk!

I was already falling behind. Then it only took one small medical emergency and one car repair to put me even further in the hole. Between money I had to put up for office visits, medical procedures that had to be done, car repairs, and lost time at work it cost me over a thousand dollars that I did not have to spend. Now I am possibly facing eviction.

And I know there are people out there that need the money far more than I do. I don’t have cancer, my kids do not need a life-saving medical procedure and I am not living on the streets yet. All I am asking is that if you understand where I am coming from and you like what I have to say help me out and donate a couple of bucks. I am not asking you to “give until it hurts,” and if you don’t have it to give then I don’t want it.

If you can’t help me out by donating money, then help me out by sounding off in the comments and telling me how I can make this blog better or what I should do different. I openly welcome harsh criticism and all opposing viewpoints.

I am not looking for millions of dollars, thousands of dollars or even hundreds of dollars. I would be very happy with tens of dollars. Ten bucks accumulated over a week from several people would be a huge shot in the arm right now. If I made an extra ten bucks from donations it would buy me enough gas to get back and forth to work for two days. Or it would cover the rising cost of my grocery bill. Right now that would be huge.

Give what you can. Every penny counts. Or offer your suggestions or both. Donate some obscure amount and put that same amount in the comments or send me an email telling me the obscure amount you donated and I will reply personally to those comments and emails. I will probably respond whether you donate or not.

Hello everyone I am very new to internet begging as they call it. A little background about me. I am a Paramedic working in a rural area in Michigan. I have been working in EMS for 6 years now. I love doing what I do everyday, saving people and helping them in thier time of need is very rewarding personally. Unfortunatly Being a Paramedic is not very rewarding finacially. I consistantly work 72 to 84 hours a week to try and make ends meet. These hours have been cut due to budgets being cut down to 48 a week. The overtime is just not there anymore. Without this overtime I am having a hard time making my car payment. I currently pay $300 a month in a car payment for my Jeep. I love my Jeep, anyone who has experince a rural MI winter knows that 4 wheel drive is a must have. However with rising gas prices and the high monthly payment I am having trouble paying it. I am asking for any help that you can donate to me to help alleviate my costs. I really do appreciate any and all. Thank you to anyone who donates! I truely am greatful!

I'm a student. I owe 3500$, in tuition. In the last few years my family and I have been struggling through a foreclosure, rising credit card debt, taxes, tuition, unemployement. I have been paying tuition little by little,but with interest associated to the payments, the effort its canceled out.
I've never begged in my life, but as they say: "It's best to beg than to steal."

The college I want to go to is pretty much my dream college! It’s so
awesome! It has the best Vet program in my state if not the only
program in my state. It’s most likely the only college that offers
actual vet Med and not just the per-requirements in my state. Their vet
program is what first got me interested in my sophomore year of college.
I got to looking at it and it became the school I most wanted to go to.
It just seems like a really good fit for me. I would really really love
to go here! It has everything I would need. i cannot for the life of me
find another college I would rather go to, but even if I did I would
still need to do this to raise money for my college fund because as you
all know tuition prices are rising every year and it’s getting more and
more expensive to go. I’m 22 now and would really like to get started on
my college career. I’ve been to community college with the help of a
pell grant, but that just isn’t going to cut it. I really have to go to a
university to further my career. I don’t want to be waiting around too terribly long to be
graduating college or even really getting started good. It would mean
the world to me to get to go to college sometime in the near future. My
mental health also rides on going. I’m depressed because I’m not going
and I see what others in my high school graduating class have
accomplished and well it depresses me too because I’m no where near
getting close to getting a job in my field of study. Where as they have
finished school and working in their field or is in the internship
phase. Either way I’m ready to get started on truly accomplishing my
dreams and getting a career. I do not want to end up like my parents and
grandparents and have no college degree even though I want one. I want
to do something they didn’t and what they told me to do if I could and

Well anyway the cost of the college is $25,000 a year, but this doesn’t
include professional costs which will be closer to $40,000 for Vet Med.
Though I’m only looking to get $25,000 for right now. I’ll just want to at least get to go for one year.

Tuition and fees for year are $8,698, Books and Supplies
would be around $1,100, Room and Board will be around $9,992, Other that
they charge will be around $5,166. I should get a pell grant, but I’m
not sure I may not but that will most likely only pay $2,000 if I’m lucky $3,000. I’ve applied to scholarships, but I don’t stand out so I’ll be lucky to even get one if that. With my luck I won’t get one. So I’ll still need a good bit.


So as you can see it will be very
expensive. I will greatly appreciate anything you donate to help me
afford to go to college. I know I most likely won’t get the amount I’m
going for, but I hope to
get most and try to keep from having to take out huge loans.

I don’t to have a huge debt coming out of college if I can help it.

Hi, My name is Rob. I am a Scot by birth. I have been stuck in South Africa with my wife and 5 yr old son since 2006. We met while working for the same company and after 2 good years together in Scotland decided to marry. Our original plan was to come to SA to get married. My wife’s family is all from here and it was too costly for them to travel to the UK. Besides, the weather is far better for a wedding here. The currency was also very favorable.
After we were married we looked round and decided to give “the new South Africa” a chance. What a mistake that has turned out to be! The work situation for white people only held out until 2009. I am a self employed builder and carpenter with some 12 years experience and many successful projects to my name. My wife Lee is hunting for a job at present, she was retrenched in December. Due to the fact that we have legislation here in SA that denotes which jobs can be given to whites and which have to be given to non-whites. Here I fall into problematic territory. There are practically no jobs that I can even apply for! We have been surviving on small jobs to keep money coming in, however the situation for whites here is getting worse. As a sole trader I am unable to apply for tenders, quotes etc. This makes finding profitable jobs almost impossible. The jobs that come in usually get me around 100 rand per day (equivalent to 20 US dollars per day). It is barely enough to feed the three of us. Food prices are rising rapidly here. We are getting nowhere! The downturn here made short work of what savings we had. The only saving grace has been that we have stayed out of debt. I honestly don’t know how much longer we can stay that way.
You may be wondering where all of this is leading to, let me explain. We have applied for many jobs in the UK over the last 2 years. We have been accepted for several positions with included accomodation. As a UK citizen I can return with my family and work there. However, We cannot get enough money together to relocate the three of us back to the UK! Our target is 5000 US dollars. This will allow my family and I to get flights with some left over to see to emergencies. (with a five year old you never know!!!)

Has your power been shut off? Do you qualify for utility assistance programs and still struggle to pay for your energy bill?

We are making an independent documentary about energy. One of the issues the documentary deals with is the rising cost of energy, and how those rising costs are making it difficult for people to pay their monthly energy bills.

We are looking for someone who has been struggling to pay their utility bills who would be interested in sharing their experience to put a face to this important issue that many Americans are dealing with today. In the wake of the economic downturn, rising energy costs were some of the leading factors that kept families from being able to pay their monthly bills.

In 2007 I purchased an old 1982 O'day 25 sailboat on Ebay. It needed a lot of work and I went about fixing it up and outfitting it to sail. I'll post some pictures in the future or email you some to show you. I re-launched her in June 2009 under her origional name; Shadubie. The plan was to sail around Buzzards Bay out of New Bedford, Ma until I was confident enough to sail or cruise longer distances until one day I would venture away for ever. It's sounds foolish, but it's my dream and slowly it has been coming true. As of 2009 I've sailed Buzzards bay and Narragansitt Bay and out to Green Port, Long Island. I'll be sailing all the Islands in the area for another year or two, But money has become an issue. So much so, that I may be forced to sell the boat, or even abandon it to rising marina costs. I am looking for funds to keep her sailing. This is a real great boat and it is strange to say that I've developed a love for her akin to having a girl friend. It has been a difficult month. The dog got attacked by cats over Thanksgiving and had to go to the vet. The day after we took her she was grabbed by German shepherds. Though she's fine physically, I worry that she is going to need training to calm her down on leash again. A drunk driver hit us last week and totaled our car. We have student loans that are due and precious little to eat in the house. We have one income but we need two, we need two cars but the one we had to buy is two years older than the one we lost because we didn't get much from the insurance company. Nobody is willing to hire me at the moment, after family emergencies, marriage, and full time classes kept me out of the work force for two years. Once I graduated, there was nobody willing to hire, and I got caught in an unemployment trap, stuck with a clean slate, all the right education, and no experience at a time when experienced people are filling entry level jobs. We worry about the coming year with rising rates and costs, and we wonder if we can make it any more. I would really like to be able to pay down on my loans. It feels like it's too late for Christmas, really. Our extended families are all limited income so they can't help at all. There's not a lot of hope around here and a whole lot of worry. I would really like any help at all. A little cheer, especially in the holiday season: a little bit of help for the car, the rent, the student loans, the fridge. I don't ask much, just if you stop by this, don't ignore it; contribute and pass it along. Help restore hope to our fledgling family. I am an economic migrant in UK and settled in UK. I have got some loans which I need to pay off. I was doing very well with paying off however recent money squeeze and rising cost of living has ended up me being short of money every month and going to work appears to be a aimless thing.

Hello. I am a commercial driver in need of financial help. My situation is 100% verifiable. On 9/20/11 I was driving a tractor trailer in Lamar, Pa, delivering a load to New Jersey when my truck caught on fire. To escape certain death I had to jump out of the burning truck, sustaining injuries in the process. A few minutes later the truck exploded and was incinerated. There was no driver error. Everybody who hears my story tells me that I'm lucky to be alive. However, Ive been out of work ever since. I do have legal representation in a workers comp case pending in Pa. My lawyer informed me that it may take up to a year before I start receiving workers comp benefits because my employer failed to have workers comp coverage while operating his business in Pa. I have absolutely no income. I lost my home and is now staying with a relative, sleeping on his couch. My car was towed due to expired tags. My bill to get my car out of the tow yard is now $2500 and rising daily. If I dont get my car out I will lose it in less than two weeks. I'm in serious pain daily from my injuries but cant get medical treatment because I dont have medical insurance and is forced to wait until I begin receiving workers comp benefits before I can get medical treatment. I applied for and was denied public assistance because I have only joint, and not full, custody of my 6 year old daughter. Even though NC Dept Of Social Services sympathized with what happened to me they told me that nc dss policy dont allow a parent with only joint custody of his child to get public assistance despite the fact that the nature of my occupation (over the road commercial transportation)prohibits me from having full custody of my child. I cant work until I receive treatment for my injuries. I dont know what else to do for money while waiting for my workers comp case to go through.I currently cant even provide food for myself and my daughter. Everyday I'm sinking deeper and deeper into destitution, anxiety and depression.I am sincerely hoping that somebody will read my story on Begslist and decide to help me. I am a 21 year old disabled student. I only get paid once a month and it seems FPL does not understand that i am about to be disconnected and i dont know what to do i asked them if they had a payment plan we could work out and they told me no. I am lost looking for assistance and advice on how to handle this situation my electric bill is rising almost to 700 but i have to pay 286 before they come and turn me off. Some one please help me with advice or whatever you think you can offer

Wall Street and the big banks were bailed out of debt. What happened to us on mainstreet? I posted a plea the other day explaining my situation, but am changing it to read like this.
I owe close to $1000.00 in property and mobile home taxes. Two are considered deliquent. The other two are due the end of Novermber. The longer I can't pay, the more interest is added. My property taxes keep rising every six months. The value of my property has dropped because of the housing bust. Most non-profit charities will not help with property taxes. I work part-time cleaning private houses. It is the only job I can find in my area.It barely-I mean barely- covers my utilities, car insurance, etc. The state can legally take my home just like a mortgage lender if I cannot pay my taxes. I have an old computer with dialup so I cannot join Facebook or twitter due to outdated technology.

Therefore, I am challenging a rich Wall Street banker or other rich banker or anybody with money to burn to help bail me (Jane Q. Public) out of the tank. I cannot pay you back, but I will thank you personally if given the opportunity. I also have other outstanding bills. A doctor bill for $118.00. And I also need the basic necessities of life. Hygiene products, toilet paper, dog food. $25.00 for a flu shot. You name, I can use it. I am in survival mode and have been for the last couple of years.

So, if anyone would like to tweet, facebook me, or whatever to get the attention of a rich, wealthy person I would be eternally gratefully.

Yes, I am angry like millions of other people in our country. We need help and we need jobs to support ourselves properly. I hate having to beg for help. But what else can I do?

Help!! My sister needs another operation! This will be her 7th one. Between to co-pays, and medical insurance $561 a month and our monthly bills, car insurance, medications, food, gas, and home. Hello, my name is Jon. I really don't know what to say. I would love to give you my whole life story, but i feel it would be a waste. I could give you my recent happenings, but you would need to know the story before hand to fully appreciate my situation now.

What i will say is this. I am a 28 year old male that lives in Texas. I am a hard working man that is taking care of his sister and her baby, my 4 year old nephew. Up until the past couple weeks i have held a decent job, but was unable to save any money. With the rising gas prices, a minimum round trip of 90 miles a day and food for 4, the 1400 a month i made at my job was just barely enough to keep up. The 4th person was my brother, he recently volunteered to move in with a friend of his to help out. My sister and I do not have this luxury. So the 2 of us are about to starve/become homeless, if something doesn't go our way soon. The reason for the dilemma is 2 weeks ago (April 15th) I lost my job. I have 2 pay checks to survive on until i find a job, which rent($550) is due on the 1st and the utility bill($150) is overdue. I we have a total of $730 with no source of income, family members are in tight situations, the job market for our skills is seemingly filled and we don't know where to turn. We live 10 miles from the closest city we both only have about an 1/8 of a tank of gas, neither of us have car insurance anymore as they have lapsed, and only my sister has a phone now (paygo phone with 3$ left on it *3 days of use max*). I don't know where to turn. I normally have a few months of living cost saved up but with such a small paycheck supporting 4 people i was unable to do so.

I'm not even asking for money exactly, and even though it would be GREAT, a job would be BETTER! I'm willing to do anything! NO SHAME! If any of you have anything you need done online I might be able to do it! If you live near or in the east side of Dallas(we live outside of the metro area by about 30 miles)I'm willing to keep your yard up, wash your car, pick up trash, clean horse stalls, build a deck, build cabinets, dance around to humor and entertain... It really doesn't matter to me at all what it could be. But if not, money is the next best thing. FOOD!!! Food would be a HUGE help! Heck, I would work for food! (Unlike those people you see at intersections).

If you are able to help us at all with anything it would be greatly appreciated! The things we need are Food, Rent, utilities, gas, phone and internet too as it would aid in job seeking. Neither of us have outstanding debit or owe anyone money. We have lived by the saying "Live by your means, not your wants." which is probably the most important pieces of advice i have ever received while growing up.
