I'm a freelance graphic/software designer who already has a paying client with a startup also interested in my services, but I'm having trouble performing at my best because I do not have the money for a dedicated work area. There is a coworking office near my apartment that offers space for $350/month, but to work at full capacity I'd really like to buy the equipment I need for a home office, which runs between $3 and $5k. (At a minimum having a larger monitor and a desk would let me do some of the basic design work I need to do: that's $500-1k.)

I've not been the best when it comes to finance though I rarely buy anything extravagant, I don't entirely understand it. I've just made lots of bad decisions and I'd love a chance to start afresh without letting my parents know how much debt I've racked up as I know they will never trust me again if they do and we already don't have the best relationship.
My main dilemma started about 2 years ago when I was in my last semester in college and I did not pay for my tuition that semester. I have not received my degree as a result and charges have been added to what I owed since then and finally my University sent the debt to the state's revenue department for collection and they've added their own fees. Things have really come to a head now because I am actually an international student and after spending the past couple years in mostly unpaid internships because I have no certificate to show employers and being unable to work other jobs that do not require a degree because it's illegal with my status, my visa has expired and I have to leave the country in a couple weeks and I don't have the degree I came to the US to get.
With the little payments I've been able to make subtracted, I now owe $11633. I know that that is a great deal of money especially as I've racked up other debts that takes the money I'll need to truly get out of all trouble to about $15000. But I really have nothing at all right now and any amount of money at all will help, $5, $100, anything.
And though I know paying back $15000 will take years for me to do if anyone has that to spare, I would want to do that for my own peace of mind. But it's obvious that anyone willing to lend me that with no security and just my intention to finally get out of this rut, get a good job and pay back over a period that will hopefully not exceed 5 years will probably be someone who can comfortably give away that amount but respects my need to eventually pay it all back through paypal probably from another part of the world.
I know I am completely to blame for all the stress in my life today and this is no sob story but my problems are very real and you will be bringing great relief to someone in trouble who has not been able to think about anything else for a long time. Thank you.

Because of the Greek economic crisis, many of small business face a serious problem for the debt repayment such as their suppliers, bank loans , the electric bills , rent etc. , the result of all this is the closure of businesses

One of these small business it's my little shop which is the only source of revenue for my family ! If I don't pay off my loans and bills , unfortunately my shop will close and my family depends from this little shop , that means , no home , no food , nothing absolutely nothing

I am writing this letter to you in the hopes I can appeal to your compassion.I have been working in a job for two years now making minimum wage, where I bring home $1000 or less for a family of four. I am not writing this letter asking for a handout, but a hand up. I know that entrepreneurs sometimes give to charity, again I am not asking for charity but proposing a charitable donation to help me form my own business.

I had worked for a Criminal Defense Investigation firm here in Albany, Or. for four years between 1999 and 2003 and was making $3000 per month plus expenses. I was laid off due to Government cutbacks in indigent defense and was off work for three years taking care of my autistic son while my wife worked. I have since returned to work and she is now the stay at home provider for our son. At the beginning of this year I reacquired my Private Investigators license at the hope that my old boss would consider hiring me back, which he did not because he only hires people in the preferred workers program.

My research shows that there are only three investigators in the area and that two of them are ready for retirement. um, (my old boss) does not perform indigent defense anymore and would pass any work to me. As of now I work partial full time during the day to where I could not perform investigations without losing time off for work, (which I cannot afford) and the time I do get off in the afternoon is too late to start investigations.
I know that with my experience I could make this a growing business and could make enough money to keep it running and take care of my family.
I have already spoken to several of the Attorneys that I had worked for in the past and have been told that they would definitely engage my services if I could provide services at regular hours.

I would like to come up with ideally $50, 000 which would cover the cost of me leaving my job for a year and leave me with $38,000 to purchase most of the basic equipment I would need for start up. If I could come up with $12,000 that would give me the capital to keep my household expenses covered for 6 months to a year, which would give me the time to get established in the business.



I know from experience that I could make this work, and that it would generate revenue of approximately $100,000 to $150,000 per year. Myold boss is making over $450,000 per year now and only performs surveillance.

My Background in this field is roughly 15 years experience, I was a Reserve Police Officer for three years through 1995-98, I resigned when I was ordered to file a report which was false and would have cleared an Officer of a wrongdoing. I refused, so I was harassed and passed over for full time employment for having integrity.
I have four years as a Criminal Defense Investigator and in those four years conducted over 250 cases with a 95% success rate. The people I kept out of jail or prison were innocent and wrongly accused by the Police. My boss stated that I had a natural instinct for investigations and I was given cases ranging from Assault to aggravated murder. I also have two years surveillance working inside a casino, where during my employment I was responsible for over 200 drug related arrests and even received a letter of commendation from the Polk County Sheriffs Office.

I have looked into every option I can think of to try and start this business on my own, Grants, Small Business Loans and Personal Loans (which you need good credit for both) and have come up with nothing.
My last option is to write to entrepreneurs like yourself and try to convince you to help in my plight.
The State of Oregon now pays $35-$45 per hr. for indigent defense, and the Federal Government pays $65 per hr. I know from experience I can work 4 to 5 cases per week as a single investigator, paying my wage of $15 per hour plus expenses. Leaving $20 to $50 going into the business every hour worked. That would give me a $600 per week salary and put $800 to $2000 per week into a business account. Yearly business income could be well over $100, 000 at the higher range of pay.
This business would greatly improve the community in which I live, giving fair and honest investigations to those accused of crimes unjustly and providing jobs for my son and others as the business grows.

I hope I have appealed to your charitable and business nature and let me thank you in advance for any assistance you may give, be it monetary or information.

Put very simply, my girlfriend of 6 months and best friend of nearly a year needs money for school. Due to her and her family's lack of money she can no longer attend the school where we met. The alternative is a community college except that it is 45 minutes away from her house. She will not even be able to generate enough revenue from her two jobs to pay for school and gas to get to school. It is heartbreaking for me to watch the girl that I love go from a top flight university to not even being able to go to school. To further the problems, the community college has a limit on the private loans you can take out. She needs about $15,000 dollars for things to feasibly work out. She can use loans for 7,000 of that. Her mom lives paycheck to paycheck to take care of the three kids and her dad is out of the picture since he cheated on her mom and left. This is my last ditch effort to help her out. I guess I am not expecting this to work but it's work a try, right? I want to extend my deepest gratitude for anyone who gives this the time of day or even sends their sympathies.

IM A 39 YEAR OLD MAN, THE LAST TWO YEARS HAVE BEEN THE WORST. i do not remember ever feeling this low, i am scared, lonely, not secure with my financial situation WHEN I HAVE a job! much less now HAVING BEEN LAID OFF in january of this year-2011-NOW IM REALLY terrified. i havent been able to eat, get rest-proper sleep in a long,long time (over a year),afford food. i have been using the help of the food pantry's in my area, and that is because i havent the time to go to department of social services from 9-5, i MUST SEEK WORK! this is the most insane feeling, i think im about at the end of it-i can no longer say i can "HOLD ON". to WHAT? ive no family-a few "friends"-but not like the ones im used to from waaaay back. and those? families and lives of thier own, no time for me, just a "facebook-fakie" hello or request for this or that from me for game crap on there-get real. also, the small town i come from knows me as a liar (i was one), a theif,(was that as well and an addict.(rehab lst year has left me sober since December of last year-i feel great but am terrified daily of not being able to get enough $ together everyday so i do not hve to make it on the street, the cops here-RUTHLESS for CITY REVENUE. tie your shoes on the wrong day? ticket.when u cant pay it, warrant. cycle repeats.....
ive started seeking counciling and have even joined a support group. i was quiet until last year about what i am about to tell you here-and i am not game playing-saying this for sympathy-any of this...i said this out loud for the first time at 38 last year-my father molested me from the ages of 6 through 14, until i was big enough to fight him off, or threaten to hurt him if he touched me one MORE TIME.
he violently raped me, my face in the pillow, told me " this doent make you gay or anyting". i realize NOW, it was about control, this sick man, i have filed police reports in both the county where i used to have an apartment, and the county in which it occurred. nothing, and i mean nothing, has been done by the police, i keep calling and asking-to no avail-nothing gets to resolve.
as i work on the inner me, my life has slowly financially unraveled. my father has had sleep apnea forever, my mother died in 2007, in october, suddenly, and slept eveynight of my whole life with earplugs. i firmly tell myself she didnt know. i have to. PLEASE, HELP ME TO GET TOGETHER enough for a deposit, moving truck, first months rent. NO MORE THAN 2,500 IS WHAT I NEED. that would turn my living situation aroud, i am seeking to move where jobs are easier to obtain in the field in which i am trained-mechanic. here where i am, i cant get hired for this! why? others are willing to work for LESS than min wage, HOW AM I TO COMPETE WITH THAT?cant. no one can.

Please help us. We have been doing business as a contractor for over 25 years and because of the economy we have put ourselves in tremendous debt trying to get more work. With the slowdown in building and housing, we lost a major part of our revenue. Also we have customers that owe us over $100,000 which is almost impossible to collect. I never thought I would have to ask for money this way, but I need to do anything to help my employees and myself keep working to support our families. Scentsational Bliss is an event planning company with a twist. At our parties our clients get to make products like lip gloss, lotion, and body mist. We do Princess, Diva parties and Mad Scientist parties for boys just to name a few. We provide decor, games, food. The decor includes chair covers, table cloths, balloons, etc. The client picks fragrances and labels and decorates the bottles and containers. We have different packages to fit the needs of our clients. There is currently not a business like this in my area that allows the client to make products for their events.
After three months of business we have had eight successful parties. However, we are seriously in need of funding to keep up with the demand. We need additional supplies to keep going. The money we have made from the parties has gone back into the business for additional needed supplies. It is a unique idea with a lot of potential but, we don't have the capital to give it a fair start. Our goal is to have a retail location to have ready made products as well as being able to make products on demand. The location would also have a party room. That way we would not have to rent out a space when we do a party. It will also be an alternative for the client if they don't want a home party. We would also rent linens and other party supplies as another means of revenue. At this point we have not been able to receive funding from a traditional source. We are currently looking for an investor, or a blessed individual who can provide a small donation. We are trying to raise $5000.00 to get supplies and a small retail location. I was working a 40 hours a week for the past three years and one day, I think it was on a Friday when my shop manager walked up and said he had some bad news. He proceeded to explain to me that the owner needed to free up some revenue so needless to say it was my paycheck that the funds were coming from. My wife was working and then she lost her job that was a double hit, we are both actively searching every day. So here I am on the verge of loosing our home and needing help this will not be a long term situation. The amount you give will be up to you any thing will help God Bless You and Your Family.

My car was stolen last February 14th, on Valentine's Day, and it was recovered one week later because the guy whom stole it had it parked illegally. He had gotten three tickets on my car; in my name. In the midst of contesting the tickets at the Department of Revenue, back and forth between the District Department, my car was booted. Because there weren't place open to pay the tickets on the weekend, my car was impounded.

In order to get the car back I had no choice but to pay those three tickets, boot fee, 2 days overnight for the boot, 2 days overnight storage at the impound lot.

At the impound lot, I was told that they couldn't release my car because the car's plates had expired the day before. It was a mess. Anyway, this situation BROKE me and I could really use some help on my tuition and books. I'm too close I can't drop this time to put more of my focus on work.

I am a young man aged 25yrs,living with parents or rather at their mercy.I completed my education by securing a Master's Diploma in Advanced Biotechnology and was previously employed as a Business Development officer with a Pharmaceutical concern.But things had never been easy with me.

The company I worked used to exploit my abilities vastly and I was paid only USD 1800 a year.They also delayed every incentives that was earned by me,eventually this led to a aversion for the job and the company I worked for and I did Quit it a couple of months ago.They are yet to pay me my dues........

I always had a dream to become a big entrepreneur someday and always had thought I would develop and venture the family business into new arenas where there would be lots of revenue.But my Dad never consents to my ideas and treats me as if I am a retard.He always challenges me to begin a business on my own and generate revenues greater than him in order to prove myself.

Hence my financial freedom is at great stake now........even after being educated and having been honest in the way I lead my life I have lost the basic essence of living a life being separated from my financial freedom,career and the Entrepreneurial dream which is now desperately begging your help.

My idea of Business: my nation of stay is a large agro-based economy.The major percentage of its revenue comes from agriculture.The most needed product in the agriculture industry is Fertiliser.But the Government is now encouraging the use of Biofertlisers more.Many big corporate houses has already ventured into this market and earning the profits.But as is the way,in the very competitive market of our country two things say the final word : Money and Hard Work.......the market demands and the supplier has to deliver,quality and high price doesn't finds the buyer nor does smart ideas.

Now for such an Industry,money is needed of all things even to step out a little and so long I have found no concerns that is ready to lend money without some conditions like:
1. Mortgage of Property:I don't have any,I am a little more than a slave for my parents.
2. Credentials form a past Business: If I really had a Business of my own,I wouldn't have went to ask money from a lender.
3. Smart Business plan: I have made many plans but none of them seem to satisfy any investors who always looks for whats in it for them........I am tired convincing them honestly and I have no money to build a flawless project report from experienced consultants.

Hence,my last resort is here,to grab a pan and beg a fortune.Gentlemen,I know the amount I ask for might be enormous except for the lucky millionaires and billionaires who spends such an amount overnight partying or buying an expensive vehicle for their near and dear ones........but it is also true that this amount can change an unlucky man's life forever.

I am not the kind of person who would login every other day and spam the net with heart breaking stories and ask someone else to pay my bills for eternity.........

I am someone who wants to take control of his own life that had been massacred by misfortune.

For that,I need your help now.........any benevolent person who had been blessed with wealth and opulence please help me take control of my life.For me it would be a miracle and as my last resort,I would be convinced that there are kind souls still on earth for whom money is not everything but greatness is.

My husband and I separated some time ago. I have been struggling to get on my feet with my children and recently lost my job. My bank account was just wiped out by a garnishment I had no knowledge of. In researching it I discovered that Mr. Wonderful has an unpaid Department of Revenue debt for his business. Community Property being what it is...I got the brunt of the debt. I also discovered there has been a lien placed on my home and my car. I have to pay off HIS debt or I will lose everything.
