Don't want to be evicted

Posted by Jennj2481 on 2012-05-22 09:58:01

Hello. I'm a 30yr old single mom of toddler twins. I am employed part time and have my own place. I usually work extra time in order to meet my bills but my little girl got sick and I had to take unpaid time off of work. As a result I am 700 dollars short on the rent money and I only have 2 days to come up with it. I don't want to take out a loan that I can't afford to pay back. I am really begging for someone's help as I don't want to lose my place. I have no where else to turn. Please and thank you In advance

Being evicted in two days

Posted by singlepregomotherof4 on 2012-05-20 23:58:12

I am a single mother of four and eight months pregnant. I lost my job in Jan. due to "too many call-ins" I was a busser at a sophisticated buffet in a Casino therefore could not lift anymore heavy bus tubs. It was starting to harm my baby. As a result of me having to be call in to go to doctor's appointments and check-ups, I was terminated. I've been seeking other employment although it is difficult for anyone to hire due to I am at my Last month. At this time I am help for my rent. Today is the 20th of May & I will probably be evicted in 2 days. I have never asked for help. In this case, I have four innocent children who will be thrown out to the street. I beg in the name of Jesus for help please. There is a GOD and HE will surely see all good deeds! Please and Thank you very much!!!

medical bills have wiped out my $, dog and i will soon be homeless

Posted by mugwump64 on 2012-05-14 12:58:45

in a couple of weeks i will be homeless. after becoming unemployed two years ago i was living off money which i had from cashing in my retirement account. after taking a couple of months for leisure ( i hadn't had an actual vacation, aside from a long weekend here or there, for the past 12 years) i was in the beginning phase of starting a small business. then i had a heart attack. i had surgery to place a stent in one of my arteries. it seems that i was born with a twisted artery and had been living with it all my life suffering no ill effects. according to my doctor artery walls are fairly thin and pliable when one is young, but as a person ages the walls thicken and become less pliant. when you combine these two factors with the twist of the artery, the result is a cutoff of the flow of blood to the heart. my doctor said that had i waited another day to come into the hospital, i would have died. while the surgery left me weak, it was the anti-rejection medication that i was on which was the problem. it left me so tired and weak, that after a walk to and from the local bodega just two blocks from my apartment , after i walked in the door i had to lay the bags down and sit and rest for a half hour or more, before i could put groceries away or even thinking about standing up and preparing food. quite a change from when i was biking 5 miles a day/ five days a week and lifting weights several times a week. my bank account was swiftly drained due to the cost of the hospital stay/surgery, and to the cost of medications ($130/month).
once i was off the anti-rejection meds and feeling well enough to work, i began searching for a job seeing as my hope of starting a business drained away with the money in my bank account. but unfortunately, with the economy the way it is, i have been unsuccessful in my search. i am now virtually penniless and am being evicted from my apartment. i am have sold off what few possessions i have in order to have some cash to buy the things i need for living on the streets, but the accumulated amount came to less than $100.

monetary donations via paypal are more than welcome,
i have also created a wish list at amazon.com for certain things that will be very helpful for me to have while i am homeless, but which i can not in anyway afford.

http://amzn.com/w/298Q89SP8GLCZ

i have left comments next to each item to explain why i feel the need for it. e-giftcards from amazon would also be helpful.

Disabled vet asking for help

Posted by Armydad on 2012-05-11 13:58:31

I need help to keep me from going bankrupt. I am unable to acquire a job because of injuries I sustained during my deployment to Afghanistan. The army is going to pay me, but that takes a lot of time and paperwork and I am looking at six months before I begin receiving checks. I tried to do college online but had to quit because I can no longer retain new information as a result of my brain injury. I'm married with three children and often find myself running short on groceries at the end of the month. I have let go of all bills that I could (cable, internet, cell phone, etc) but I am still falling short. Any help would be greatly appreciated by myself and my family. I would use contributions to purchase clothing and food, as well as make minimum payments on monthly bills. Once I begin receiving disability I will immediately stop accepting donations, and as soon as I can afford to, I promise to donate at least what I have received in donations back to this website. Again I thank you for taking the time to read this and for having the heart to consider helping a complete stranger.

Replacement money need

Hello, to everyone. My name is Phinehas, and I currently live in
Phoenix, Arizona. I as an ordinary private individual is seeking monetary assistance of $2,500 ( must be in U.S. currency only ) from anyone is in a position to help me. I have no affiliation with any church, charitable organization, or company--business or otherwise whatsoever. Unfortunately, I was deceived by someone that claimed to care. The result of this caused a deficiency in the bank account that resulted in it being closed out by action taken by the bank. This money was used for working on personal project expenses, bus fare to get around to do various errands, and to buy health care products that would not be covered by any government funded health care plan, and food supplements that also which is not food stamp eligible. Prior to my parents passing, they were my sole caretakers, because I was and still am semi-disabled and unable to work. I was placed in an assisted living group home due to not being given more desirable alternative suitable choices. Any assistance that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

A full-time student seeking a sponsor/any help at all

Posted by Raqib on 2012-05-08 17:58:52

My name is Rocky, I'm a 20 year old full-time college student living alone with a kitten, enrolled at North Lake College in Irving, Texas.

I'm relying solely on Financial Aid to survive right now, as I cannot find a job anywhere that is willing to hire a full-time student.

Out of the four classes I took this semester, I failed one. I spent a lot of time just looking for a job, as a result, that cut heavily into my study time.

I have an outstanding medical bill, and I unfortunately received my first-ever speeding ticket today- both I most likely will not be able to pay off anytime soon.

I'm seeking help from anyone I can possibly receive it from. Anything from donations, to even any jobs you may have for me in my local area will benefit me. If there are any positions you can hire me for, please do tell me.

Thanks in advance. - Rocky

Need Back Surgery

Posted by WalkTall615 on 2012-05-06 20:58:41

I am a 39-year-old woman living in the Nashville area who has been off of work without pay for the last month. Though I am employed full-time, I have run out of paid time off and am currently on medical leave until I can have back surgery. The surgery itself is not complicated, but it would entail 3 days of a hospital stay, 2 weeks of physical therapy to assist in regaining my mobility, and 4-5 more weeks off before I can return to work. This surgery, though necessary, was unanticipated and I do not have money saved to sustain myself for another 2 months off. I do not have children, so I am ineligible for cash assistance through local government. I do not have short-term disability through my employer. I am ineligible for short-term disability through the government because my condition does not require that I am off work for 12 months, nor will it result in my death. I am also not being allowed to withdraw from my retirement for hardship reasons because, according to them, I am -only- contributing the mandatory amount. I also do not have -perfect credit- so I am unable to go out and obtain a loan for what I need. I have tried so many avenues and have hit dead ends each time. My goal is to raise $2500 to cover rent and expenses for up to three months: 2 months of actual recovery time and an additional months worth for incidentals and to give me time to return to work and have regular paychecks come in. Please help so that I can regain my ability to walk without pain and return to work. Thank you.

Desperate for car and minor help with bills

Posted by wifeofdisabled on 2012-05-04 11:58:23

My name is Donna and my husband,Tom,is a disabled diabetic. He has been diabetic for 20 years and for the past 7 years, he has been totally unable to walk. He gets SSI but it is not much. I ork but only for minimum wage. Our car stopped running on Feb. 14 and we do not have the extra finances or credit to be able to buy another one. As a result, he has not been to a doctor since to get refills on his medicines or insulin needles. He is getting sicker every day. I would like to get out and look for a better job but can't do that either. I have to push him in the road if he wants to go anywhere otherwise, I walk to the grocery store to buy food. We are behind in all of our bills but only a little bit. We just need someone would could help us with a car and a little to pay up our bills. This has been really hard on my husband. He feels depressed and useless because there is nothing he can do to help and is basically stuck in the apartment. Without his medicine, it gets worse every day. His blood sugar has been staying over 600 and I have no way to get it back down to an acceptable level. It is causing havoc with the rest of his body also. We desperately need a car to get him help. We have 3 grown sons but two are barely making it themselves and the third is in the National Guard and going through a divorce so he is unable to help also. If you can help or have any questions, feel free to email me at ddmedley@yahoo.com. Thank you and God Bless.

For My Sister Tamaira

Posted by tdakhlallah on 2012-04-25 18:58:11

My sister Tamaira was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease several years ago. As a result, her small intestine became diseased and her kidney's are now failing. She will be having a major operation in June of this year. She has a good job but she has no time off left and will be unable to support herself during the two month recovery window. I am seeking assistance for her. One of the saddest things about all of this is, over 6 years ago my sister turned her back on me and will have nothing to do with me or my husband (he's Arabic). I only know what she is going through because my mother tells me about it and, because she's 78 and suffering from cancer, she doesn't have the means to help her. Even with everything that has happened, I would like to help her. If anyone is interested in lending a hand, I would truly and forever appreciate it. I thank you sincerely and wish you and your family all my best. Terresa

Loving married couple need help to pay for IVF

Posted by sarahwease on 2012-04-21 16:58:55

My husband and i have been married 7 years, both work full time but bought a house (when i say bought, i mean got an interest only mortgage on a rubbish deal tied in for 5 year)that was 3 years ago and we pay our way but thats all we can afford to do, we try to save but what pity little we manage to put back is always needed for something, most recently the dentist, needed antibiotics 3 times, £7.50 each time because we work,£17.50 just for the dentist to see me and thats the NHS dentist. Sorry for going on, our problem is that we desperatly want a baby together, we have been through every test the docs wanted and the end result was unexplained infertility and as weve been trying for 7 years he gave us a 1% chance of conceiving naturally , usually the NHS would offer 3 attempts at IVF but because my husband has a son (hes 16 now) who i love and have been lucky enough to have in my life, we are not eligible and will have to pay approx £5000 for 1 attempt at IVF.Obviously if anyone by some mirracle was able to help i would get and provide with receipts or a statement of how much it costs. i havent got a bit of paper with the price on but ill sharp get one and show you. I hate doing this, begging, it's against everything i stand for bar one thing and i would give my life just for the oppportunity. My husband is 43 which to the docs is no issue but im 28, 29 this year so the clock is ticking. ivf is only offered under 36 years for woman.Any help even just advice, we'd be most grateful, please and thank you. I NEED RENT MONEY For At Least 3 Months

I am in a bind.I am a disabled immigrant from the Philippines. My Green Card expired about one year ago. I renewed it last August 2011,but I have yet to receive it in the mail.As a result, outside of doing Avon,I am unable to work legally here until my permanent Green Card arrives. My common-law husband, coveniently decided after 16 years of being together,he throws me out of our apartment this past Apr.1st.The reason I am asking for rent money for at least 3 months,I am eagerly hoping that my Avon business will prosper in that time frame.I am expecting the green card within this time frame.I am in a very temporary living arrangement.I can only remain here until the last day in May 2012. I am looking for $5,000 dollars to last me until I can receive my green card in the mail and find other legal jobs outside of Avon.I am not quitting my Avon business,I just need a helping hand for now.Thanks.God Bless You!

Please find it in your heart...

This is not a beg, this is a cry for help. I am 23 years old, with no kids and no vehicle. I have a good paying job where I make over $30,000 dollars a year working with special needs adolescent. I am in a massive amount of debt that I honestly placed myself in trying to clean up a debt that I already had but was manageable. I took out about 6 pay day loans, not all at once to pay of a bill I was short on and it continued to collect interest and build up and pull money out of my account to a point where I was over drafting my account at the same time and collecting a ridiculous amount of overdraft fees. It took me a month to pay it off and literally the next day the payday loan company's continued to pull out and set me back into overdraft so I'm at an enormous amount of negative now and left my apartment to someone else because I cannot manage. I left my apartment with nowhere to go and not even a car to sleep in and I just want to get rid of these payday loan people but it's quite impossible when they pull out my money every two weeks and it's not there because my bank has eaten it in overdraft fees. I'm stranded I'm desperate I have been thinking I the impossible just to get my hand on $4,700 to clear my situation so I can go back to life. I have been gambling as a result of this because at this point I feel I have nothing to lose. All I am holding on to is my good job. Im miserable and facing all types of depression and stress. I have been biting my lip out of anxiety til it bleeds and I have no one to go to. My enormous pride has let up tremendously through this experience which might have been Gods lesson and I try to be more grateful for what I do have however it's not many more sleepovers I can disguise as I have no where to go.
Please find it in your heart to help me please! I will do any good for this help I am in desperate need of it. I can't promise you I can pay you back right away but I am willing to do anything to get me out of this finacial nightmare.

I am 44 years old, originally from California, divorced in 2005, remarried in 2006, and in over my head. I worked in the mortgage industry for many years and got out when the market crashed. I had many credit problems because of my divorce and as a result could not get licensed with the new procedures to become a loan officer again. Well, some of these creditors, have been trying to attach my checking accounts and garnish my wages for the past 3 years and so, I've had to stay off the grid employment wise.
This has been ok, just very stressful, until now. Everything is coming to a head now and I can't hide from this any longer. With my wife, my 3 yr old son, and baby on the way, I don't even have health insurance anymore. I don't know what else to do. I need some help and like yesterday. My rent has not been paid since the 4/1 and phones will be shut off any day now.
Please help us!!! I love my family and I will never be able to forgive myself if we get evicted or I get thrown in jail. We won't even have money to eat in a few days!! I start a new job on Monday and I pray that I can get help before they garnish my wages.
God bless you and I pray that you can help us!!

Need replacement money

Hello, to everyone. My name is Phinehas, and I currently live in Phoenix, Arizona. I as an ordinary private individual is seeking monetary assistance of $2,500 ( must be in U.S. currency only ) from anyone that is in a position to help me. I have no affiliation with any church, charitable organization, or company--business or otherwise whatsoever. Unfortunately, I was deceived by someone that claimed to care. The result of this caused a deficiency in the bank account that resulted in it being closed out by action taken by the bank. This money was used for working on personal project expenses, bus fair to get around to do various errands, and to buy health care products that would not be covered by any government funded health care plan, and is not food stamp eligible. Prior to my parents passing, they were my sole caretakers, because I was and still semi-disabled and unable to work. I was placed in an assisted living group home due to not being given other alternative choices that would be more desirably suitable for me. Any assistance that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
