I am a homeless, honorably discharged, US Army veteran, looking for help replacing a lower back molar tooth that had to be removed due to multiple cusp fractures. A dental implant appears to be the best long term option to restore my chewing ability on this side of the mouth. This procedure is pretty expensive, possibly running in the thousands of dollars, and quite frankly, I don't have the money to pay for this. I am hoping somebody can help me get this procedure done. Thank you.

I am a 48yr old married woman who has had to give up my job as a staff nurse (since 1979) due to back and knee complaints. The trust I formerly worked for will not accept that these problems stem from my nursing career and are therefore dragging their heels over my small pension payments, likewise the benefits agency. My husband works 50+ hours a week on the minimum wage and then has to come home and do the housework and prepare meals as I have also been diagnosed with depression and anxiety which renders me some days unable to even get out of bed. Anything I do causes me so much pain due to my back and knee and I am having to use crutches to mobilise which is problematic. We are in the process of losing our family home(this is the home that I and my siblings grew up in) and would be heartbroken if this were to happen but we cannot at the moment pay the mortgage or secured loan on the property. Please Please can somebody help us at this desperate time and restore our faith in human nature.

It has been a difficult month. The dog got attacked by cats over Thanksgiving and had to go to the vet. The day after we took her she was grabbed by German shepherds. Though she's fine physically, I worry that she is going to need training to calm her down on leash again. A drunk driver hit us last week and totaled our car. We have student loans that are due and precious little to eat in the house. We have one income but we need two, we need two cars but the one we had to buy is two years older than the one we lost because we didn't get much from the insurance company. Nobody is willing to hire me at the moment, after family emergencies, marriage, and full time classes kept me out of the work force for two years. Once I graduated, there was nobody willing to hire, and I got caught in an unemployment trap, stuck with a clean slate, all the right education, and no experience at a time when experienced people are filling entry level jobs. We worry about the coming year with rising rates and costs, and we wonder if we can make it any more. I would really like to be able to pay down on my loans. It feels like it's too late for Christmas, really. Our extended families are all limited income so they can't help at all. There's not a lot of hope around here and a whole lot of worry. I would really like any help at all. A little cheer, especially in the holiday season: a little bit of help for the car, the rent, the student loans, the fridge. I don't ask much, just if you stop by this, don't ignore it; contribute and pass it along. Help restore hope to our fledgling family. Help me show my husband that not everyone in this world is interested in taking and destroying.

I lost I have no running water. I am making payments to the water company, but they will not restore service until it is completely paid. Any help is greatly appreciated. As soon as I have enough money to restore water service, this ad will bebtaken down. Please help if you can.

I am a single mother of two high school aged children (15 & 17) seeking immediate assistance to pay my debts, bills and secure affordable housing for my family again. We were displaced in April from our home of 5 years.

My family was involved in an automobile accident (not our fault, but thankfully no injuries)in January of this year in the only vehicle our family owns and while it is still drivable and in need of repair, I am still settling the outstanding claim (for the past 8 months) with the other person's insurance company who hit us, which includes fighting in court to recover damages.

Additionally, my income has dropped drastically due to loss of work and we are barely surviving on $500 a month.

Unforeseen hardships, deaths in our family, my childrens' education, lack of involvement from their father and other financial strains continue to take a huge toll on us and our ability to maintain a sustainable home. It seems bleak at times to feel as though we have no sense of real security in our lives. And, it serves only to divide us, which makes it even more difficult for any of us to stay together, focused, driven and motivated..

I am struggling to find sustainable employment to no avail and we had no choice except to move in with a family friend who is retired and living on a fixed income and struggling to save his home from foreclosure. Our combined contributions do not adequately cover the expense of managing the home, but there is little recourse to either of us at the moment to change the situation. We have only patched the situation, not repaired it. It still feels as though the boat is sinking....

I have never sought this type of assistance before and while it makes me feel extremely uncomfortable seeking this help, I feel I have no other choice but to BEG for immediate relief before something drastic happens to permanently alter our lives forever in ways I do not want to even imagine. I cannot allow what is happening to us (be it pride or pity) destroy our hope, my children and their vision for the future. We must turn our situation around to restore balance back into my family's life. Any generosity would be an eternal blessing...

My name is Mike, I'm 22 years old, and have been living independently for the last 5 years. My parents kicked me out of the house as soon as I graduated high school. I went to college and graduated with a bachelor's degree last spring. Since graduation, I have not been able to find any work anywhere, from janitorial to fast food. I've had to sell off my possessions one by one to avoid losing the roof over my head, including a family heirloom left to me by my grandfather that can never be replaced, and my car (I get around on a bicycle). I'm out on the streets every day searching for anything I can do to make enough to stay fed. Currently, I'm in debt with my landlord in excess of $1500, which is about 3 months rent.

My parents are not a feasible option, as they have disowned me. I have no one else, so here I am, literally on my knees (I have no furniture), praying that someone who cares will see this and help me to not only get back on my feet, but also to help me restore my faith in the goodness of humanity.

Due to my landlord switching over my light bill last minute, my electric bill added up outrageously! It was disconnected due to non payments, it was disconnected and it is nearly a hundred degrees here in chicago. I have no where else to stay, no food, no air and has a history of passing out frequently. I am SCARED living there alone and if something happens, I have no one to turn to. They will not restore my service unless I pay and it is impossible! I have no where else to go and no other help to turn too. Any help would be appreciated. PLEASE

I believe in miracles and in God's mercy in times of need...so here I sit in great hope that this message reaches the right person/people somehow and somewhere who are able and willing to assist my family in any amount they can or see fit to give. A little bit of background on us: We are a husband and wife with three young daughters who are trying to provide as best we can for our children and keep them happy. We have been struggling for the past year now with finances as my husband's job could not provide the income we needed to survive. He has attempted to find something with better compensation numerous times but has come up empty in his search. Over the past year, we lost our townhouse and were forced to move in with relatives that don't even have enough room for us to stay.We now are unable to continue staying with them on the account that there is not enough room for all of us. My husband has joined the Army as a way to try and save us from becoming homeless and without a future, however, he does not start basic training until October and we do not have that long to stay afloat.That is a year that we cannot afford to keep up with. Plus we will not receive housing until he is finished with individual training for his job so we wont have housing assistance at all until next June.. So, this puts us in an unfortunate bind with no place to live because we cannot afford to pay the high prices of housing, without employment with pay to suffice for our survival(my husbands pay is below poverty level) and no way to pay for childcare so I can go and find employment. We have one car and are about to lose that also. We have lost all hope that our lives can be sustained despite our great effort to improve the outlook of our situation. I'm pleading for anyone who can offer any kind of help to us, to please donate to help us have a roof over our head and restore our faith in humanity and the world we live in as a whole. Please help us help our children who are innocent and undeserving of this instability. I have never felt so low in my entire life and need the miracle of kindness to overjoy me and show me mercy. I want to recreate a british sport car that was never made because the company went bankrupt and recently the designer and owner of the original company sadly died Mr Jack turner the man who kickstarted the british sport car industry back in 1950s. the car itself is called a Turner Imp there were plans draw up and moulds made but it was never finished and the moulds destroyed in the 1970s.
