I have not ever asked anyone for money before, so please bear with me as I am not sure entirely how to put this in words. I was born with a recessive jaw... when people look at me and my weak chin they judge me and make me feel inferior. All I want is to have the normal chin I should have been born with, that some mutation took away from me. My brother has a normal jaw, and everyone looks up to him even though we are almost twins besides this one flaw.

All I need is a chin implant and my features will fall into place.. I can finally feel normal and live happy and have people stop judging me for my looks. I am a 42-year-old man with wife and daughter, and I would like to start my own business. I currently live in a rural ohio community where full-time work can be very scarce. Stated Goal: $2,000.00 (by March 21st, 2012) for tuition, books and some new pants to get my academic career going... Breakdown of $1,288.33 for tuition/fees, approximately $400.00 in textbooks/supplies for the quarter, and the remainder for some pants and necessary travel expenditures for the first month of school.

I know you have many options with where your hard-earned money goes - some may make you feel GREAT about shedding a few pounds in the wallet, and others will leave you feeling downright dirty. I know this, because I was once in your shoes; money in my wallet, left only to my vices as to where to spend it. I never felt right about just handing it over to someone who, in my opinion, would merely go drink it away, drug it away, etc. It's funny how life throws these things all back into your face sometimes, and as such I find myself in need and hoping that the right person(s) will have the faith to invest in me - that's right, I said INVEST.

I don't believe in a handout, but I DO believe that sometimes we fall a bit harder than we are prepared to do and as such are put into situations that we neither expected nor are comfortable with. I opened a business that was going rather well for its first 7 months of operation. Then, through an anonymous post from someone online that "appeared" to be from my company, me and my business partner got black-balled from the industry (VERY political/bureaucratic in that particular industry). When this went under, though, it took me and everything I own with it - my vehicle, my home and much of my personal belongings. Prior to that, I spent 11 years on active duty military status in order to protect and serve this country. Yes, I've earned the G.I. Bill and fully intend to use it for its designed purpose. TheMy defining issue, however, is that the Bill pays for school on a month-to-month basis, at the END of each month of training. For example, my school begins this April 2nd so I cannot claim my benefits until the end of April, which will cause my first G.I. bill payment to get sent out in early May. The school, however, requires payment up-front and as explained above, I currently do not have the capital to get started. Once I've started, the Bill will sustain me, therefore I merely ask for assistance in getting the first quarter of classes paid, including books. I have a great academic history, and this is truly where I excel. My purpose is to some day acquire a PhD in pharmaceutics and do research to find new and improved medications for the benefit of the masses.

As for the pants, I have two pairs remaining and both have holes in the legs and crotch. While these DO technically work for all intents and purposes, it gets a bit breezy on these cold days and nights, and is probably unsightly (at best) to any of my would-be professors who may not appreciate an instructor's-eye-view of these things. As such, I figure I might like to buy a couple of pairs prior to matriculation.

I have had a chronic illness my entire adult life.
My family don't 'do' illness and have no support from them other than keeping in touch. I get on well with people but they really don't understand ME and so have no found any offers of help. Amazingly I am now working and that's good, but it doesn't pay for my recovery and i'm so ready for that now.

I have done alot of research and the cost of a private clinic programme which includes some contact with a practitioner, tests and treatment costs around £2000. That's to fully recover! (There is no recovery programme or treatment for ME on the nhs, just 'management) £2000 to recover from a debilitating illness is nothing in the wider scheme of things, and nothing to someone even on a reasonable wage for your health. Its such a dream for me. ME is so hard to live with, with daily pain. My entire life is geared around managing it and but now I see I could actually recover. I have much yet to do in life but need financial help to do this programme.

I work, I am not entitled to any benefits whilst working and do not have the energy for a second job. My disposable income after food and petrol is £50pcm. I have applied for many other jobs but my sickness record and my tiredness has stopped me gaining them.

I would be eternally grateful for any donations towards this recovery programme and if it ends up, as I hope, with me well and getting a reasonably paid job I will pass on all that I have been given to someone else in similar circumstances.

My grandpa has been very sick since August--losing weight . . . The doctors were unable to diagnose him, but in October, his kidneies began to fail. He began dialysis straight-away; however, his condition only worsened. He was admitted into the hospital in November, but still he continued to lose weight, due to an extreme loss of appitite. In December, he was given a feeding tube; while in there, the doctors took a sample, and it was concluded that he has stomach cancer. Being that he's already been through chemo-therapy, and it is terrible, he does not want to procede with that option. I cannot not have my grandpa. We don't have the typical grandfather-granddaughter relationship; he's always been so much more: my best friend, my teacher, my mentor, my dad . . . I have done research on alternative medicine, and I have to give it a try. Unfortunately, these medicines are not anywhere close to my price-range. You see, I am a military wife with four children, and we just simply cannot afford it. Yesterday, I went to see if I could get a loan, but the cost is too great for the collateral we could have offer. Like I've implied, I'll do anything; I have to try. Barely scraping by. I am self employed, but not bringing in much at this time. Need to get back home to see my animals and get my belongings. Only wanted to be gone from my home for a small amount of time and have been "stuck" in my current rut for longer than expected. I am writing to share that my son has been accepted into the Fork Union Military Academy, located outside of Richmond, Virginia.

Me and my family are excited about this huge opportunity for my son. The road to get there was not easy however, but God answered our prayers. Alejandro Jr. has always been a very active child with an even more active imagination. As a baby, me and my wife would hear him play all night and could never sit still. During his elementary school days, his teachers would always remark how intelligent he was, but could just never sit still or not be a distraction to his class. What could I say, that is the way he was born.

But he went through elementary school on the honor roll each and every year he was there all the way through 6th grade. He was ready to go into middle school. When he entered into the 7th grade, things changed. There was a lot of bad influence and it started to affect my son because he has always been so innocent. His grades suffered, but he still scored in the top 97% of students in the end of the year state testing.

8th grade fared no better. He wasn’t the same anymore. He didn’t go to a good middle school. Lots of gangs and rumor has it drug dealing was going on there as well. His teachers didn’t care about him because he wasn’t doing the work, but he would still score 100 % on his quizzes and tests. His school wasn’t any help either. My son wasn’t being challenged, he knew the material, but he was not going to thrive in that environment, it seems he was getting harassed by his teachers and staff.

We wanted to remove him from that school as we had been fed up with the school district for a while now. We looked to see if there was an environment where he would thrive. After much research, we heard about the Fork Union Military Academy, which is an all boys military school. We took a look and my son loved it. This fits right in with his goal of joining the United States Marine Corps after high school.

We have been blessed that financial aid has covered roughly half of the tuition, but we are still in need of the other half, which is $10,000, which is due in 5 months. I am asking for any generous donation(s) that one may feel the need to contribute too. If you find it in your heart to do so, me and my family could not thank you enough and if you decide not to do so, thank you for your patience in reading about my son’s story. On January 5, 2011, My mom was admitted through emergency for bleeding out of her rectum. At first they thought it was hemorrhoids, and further testing detailed that it was colon cancer. On 1/6/11, without much consultation or time to process my mom was in surgery to remove part of her colon. They removed about a foot of her colon, then did more testing to see where the cancer was. My mom was diagnosed with stage IV cancer, after it had metastasized to her liver. This was an unfathomable diagnosis, as no-one in my family had ever been diagnosed with cancer. They gave my mom six months to live. I could not accept that, and went on a search to help cure my mom. First we went to Mayo Clinic, where they thought they could help. My mom and I traveled there solo, much like we’ve done everything else in our life. She had a liver resection, to remove part of the liver that had majority of the tumors in it.

There I was sitting there in the waiting room, feeling very alone, while the two expert surgeons told me what they had done, and knowing it was a band-aid, hoping to have extended her life. I rejected that then, and I reject it now. I believe God for a cure, and for them to find no traces of cancer in her body, and I receive that which I’ve asked for. She is scheduled to have another round of chemo to hopefully kill what is left. The medical expenses have become unbearable.

I have done tons of research, so much so that I had to start taking sleeping pills to sleep at night. I know that there are ways to help my mom beat this disease, and I think I have found someone who can help. Unfortunately, her treatment protocol is $5900/week, for a minimum of four weeks. My mom is on disability, and I am currently collecting unemployment, as it was too difficult to travel with mom, and hold down a regular job. I have written letters to churches, charities, etc. I have to do whatever I can for my mom, she is my best friend, my brother, my sister, and the only father I’ve ever known.

Reason I am looking for a partner at this point, I am from Washington DC, in which I have a site call ok2bbi.com , I got up one night out of my sleep and said this is what I am going to do, open a clubhouse for Lesbian & Bisexual women, so I did my research in DC the results was great I mean these women want this clubhouse and was ready to signup, so at that time i went to look for retail space to host this clubhouse, but the retail down north was way out of my budget so the first thing I thought was do the test in Atlanta, and the results was even better then DC... so here I go again looking for retail space in Atlanta area, I did not want the heart of Atlanta so I did Norcross and the retail space was cut in half ... so I told Atlanta if I can get 100 of you signup I will have a clubhouse open for you on Nov 1st, which 200 signup and I had a clubhouse open for then Nov 5th .. so I kept my word ... once I open my doors no one was on the other side ... I was like what happen to my 200 members who signup ..lol no one came forward, I mean I invest my last into this clubhouse over $20,000 ... I( still believe in the clubhouse and not going to give up on it, just bad timing its the holiday season, right now I am up for anything to get this place occupied ... I had a guy who wanted to invest but when it came time to come to the table he said he had $20,000 to invest, but came time it was $20,000 worth of furniture ...lol ... its lots can be done with this place, I use to be in the porn business which I still own it, but its not much money in porn no more ... which I love the adult entertainment business ... I still have my professional cam and it will take nothing for me to get back into, BUT
