Hello, My names Kaylee and I am in need of a little help if possible. My parents divorced this year and it ended with me, my mum and my brother moving to a 2 bedroom repossessed property that is in dire need of repair. My mum works, but her wages only cover our necessities and there’s no room to save for the house to be repaired. Me and my brother help where we can but we are on little wages ourselves. We currently have no ceiling or flooring in the lounge and kitchen and every wall in the house needs repairing and painting. We also need a sofa and other bits of furniture as we currently have plastic garden chairs. I have a friend who is a builder and is willing to do all the repairs for us, it's just the part of raising the money for materials that’s an issue.
I would be most grateful for any donation that could help towards my cause and I know it’s not life threatening and in some people’s eyes not a lot of money but for us it could make a huge difference to our lives. My mum suffers with Bipolar and this can have a huge impact on our everyday life, with the house in such disarray this can cause my mums behavior to be very erratic and disorganised, I just feel with a home she does not need to worry about that it will help us all to lead a better quality of life :)

I'd never considered anything like this before, but today we've finally been pushed over the limit. I am a married man in my early twenties with two kids, a boy age 6, a girl age 2. Things have been going great until this month, I recently lost my job, I was a caregiver and the family no longer needs me, my wife goes to school and is so close to finishing, but until then we're hurting. As of today, our car got hit and the front bumper and headlights broke off and were crushed, my wife was the one in the accident, she was in a panic and didn't know what to do, swapped information and did nothing else, after that they said it was her fault, so it's going to cost us 988$ to get repaired. I've been trying to find new work, but like everywhere else it's scarce. We're already giving up most elective activities, we lost cable last week. x.x

I'm a single mom of two that has been working as an EMT and going to school. I'm going to school right now to at a community college and already done to start going to the nearby university where I have one year left but, need 3800 dollars that I need to pay off to go back. This week hasn't been the best starting week I have no car right now it's getting repaired due to getting severe hail damage and I just found out I got laid off due to my company losing a nursing home contract. I've been working hard for my kiddos and refuse to give up because I'm almost done with school to be able to really provide for my son and daughter and jut want them to be proud of their mom. I am a single mother and work hard to take care of her three year old son. I need to have my car repaired and obtain food for atleast him. This is my last resort. We have fallen hard, hit rock bottom! Financially we are drowning with no sight of rescue. My husband and I have been paying of his debt which he incurred at a very young age. His father, who worked in finance GUIDED him into applying for ridiculous amounts of debt. And this in turn has meant that now 7 years later we are still paying off his debts. We have been blessed with three beautiful children but that's where our luck stops. My husband is one of four children all of which have received financial help from their families, my sister-in-law, my husbands younger sister and her fiancee live at home with her mother so they can save for their wedding and a house deposit. Yet here we are, drowning in debt and can not get any help from any of our families! It's very depressing to see family members achieve dreams because they are getting generous donations from their family and you're the only one missing out!!!
We are just needing a hand up not a hand out!
We only $20000 to go and after a lot of self sacrifice, juggling three jobs between us, studying, raising three very young children and moving out of Sydney, away from family and friends to save money, we still have a long way to go! And it's the interest that's killing us!
To make matters worse, at the beginning of the week I was involved in a car accident. A four car pile up, with my car being the third car and the only car to be so badly damaged that I now cannot drive it. I had no insurance, as when we were living in Sydney we truly could not afford it. So now we are left without a car and the added debt of having to pay fir the car in front of me to be repaired.
We have no luck and could really use a break and to live a simple, uncomplicated life.

So I propose to you that if there are 2000 who would be willing to LEND us $10, when the time comes and you need the $10 back we will return it! No loss to you but a great gift and help to us.

My dad has passed away many years ago and our family are not close. She was in a nursing home rehab center and they have released her back home. I quit my job to take care of her because the hours I had were at night. I need a daytime job so I can put her in adult daycare while I am at work. I am in the process of looking for a job and applying for an elderly waiver. She needs 24 hour care. We rent and share expences and now all the expences have fallen on me. I could really use some extra money for rent. There are so many things I need right now. I don't have a refrigerator just a small motel type of frig. My car needs repaired and I need my car so I can look for work and take mom to the doctor and errands. I would appreciate your help at this difficult time.

It is driveable from point A to point B generally but I need to park it for a minimum of 45 mins. for it to restart and I cannot go a long distance without it dying. I need it repaired in order to get to my assignments (I am a sub so I go wherever I am needed). I have run out of options, nothing of value to sell and no resources left. I need to get car fixed to get to work to get out of this Catch-22 situation. I am beyond shame at this point and am begging for whatever dollars you could spare to help me accomplish this goal. Hi my name is Jeff I live here in NV. I’m not sure about this, I never been in such a need for money before let alone having to ask is not easy for me, I know a lot of people are struggling. Not too long ago we had the best economy in the US, now it is the worst. Getting a full time job here is almost impossible, my wife used to be an Accountant; I use to work as a service technician for a water company. My wife got laid off 3 yrs ago and now works pt. for Jack in the Box. I got laid off 2 yrs ago. It took me 6 months just to find pt. work for a Rent a Car agency. We managed ok using are credit cards hoping things would become better. We ended using all are credit and had to file bankruptcy. To make matters worse I ended up getting fired from my pt job, Due to a sleep disorder from depression and anxiety I have, I ended up crash testing too many of our rental cars. We are now 3 months behind on our Mortgage about $2400 And to top it off our home furnace went out 2 months ago we have nothing left for any expenses, its taking everything we have left to pay our bills and child support in which I refuse to get behind on my son and wife are my life, I just wish we could feel warm again. Our furnace could be repaired for about $2000 but any donation would be very grateful. Thank you so much Jeff

This family is in Michigan and having a tough go. All shelters are full and have no money to go to hotel. Funds needed asap. 2500.00 Running out of time. I have a 1995 Honda automobile which is my only kind of transportation. It needs the engine to be repaired and new tires as well. The windshield is cracked and needs to be replaced. Any help will be appreciated.

I know no one gets into debt in purpose but I really need some help. My car failed its MOT back in Sep and my insurance company tried scamming me out of £1000 to have it repaired. Long story short the work was only worth £300! I was trying to argue my case when they were still taking payments on my insurance policy and for the MOT to be done. This tipped my account balance into my overdraft ( which I didn't even know I had) my bank then started piling on charges and all of a sudden I couldn't pay my insurance company anything and even when I tried and put money in my account to pay it off my bank would just eat it up calling it charges. I now have the insurance companies debt collection agency hounding me and I don't know what to do. I owe in total £500. My parents aren't very well off and don't know what to do either. I have a job but it only jut about pays for me to get to my course and back everyday. Please can someone help before this gets worse. hi im 21 have a part time job and attend college as well as volunteer at a local at risk youth center.

being up to date with my rent bills and student loans leaves me strapped for money i could give up volunteering and pick up a second job but being that i was once in their position and not having anyone to help makes me realize it is more important.

i usually get around on the bus but with my schedule next semester i only have evening classes and the bus stops at 7. A man at the place where i volunteer was kind enough to give me a car.

Problem is i have a car that need to be repaired it was given to me but i need to change the head gasket and get the head machined i can do the work my self but need money for the parts and machining cost which in turn is about 400 dollars

Help! We got hit by a drunk driver on dec. 02. The guy that hit us had a BAC of .246, and ran a red light. We got 2700 for our car from insurance. WE are trying to repair and rebuild our credit ruined because of student loans so we had no wish or extra income to finance. We wound up getting a 1994 Ford Taurus wagon. They put a new engine in it that's going to be done friday, but it's still a 17 year old car that will probably need repairs. WE are on a tight budget, and we would appreciate being able to build a rainy day fund for the car so that we don't have to worry when something will go wrong. We're fairly good at fixing most things. Our last car was a 1996 Taurus and we fixed the brakes, rotors and calipers, replaced the battery and terminal wires, spark plugs and wires, changed all fluids, repaired hoses, and we were about to replace the catalytic converter on our own when we got hit. Previous cars we've worked with have taught us how to replace tires, radiators, water pumps and fuel pumps. We plan to maintain our new car in a similar way so that we can keep it for a couple hundred thousand miles. It's not just about keeping costs down, it's about keeping a serviceable car on the road and out of crowded landfills. It's about a car that you love through a long relationship, a vehicle that you understand every quirk. It was that way with my '96, and I just know it will be that way with my '94 With a rainy day fund I would feel much more secure when it comes to fixing the inevitable problems that come with a comfortable old lady like a 1994 taurus LX wagon. She is getting a new engine so the head gasket issues of the second generation Taurus's 3.8L essex are going to be mitigated if not eliminated for at least the next 100,000 miles, but the tranny and AC especially, followed by suspension, electrics, brakes, steering, pumps (fuel and water), and of course the routine tires, oil, wipers, brake pads, etc. are all possible future repairs. All the fun of having a car that you can't lightly trade in. Parts usually run $80 average if it's anything like the '96 in terms of maintenence, ommiting outliers like tranny and AC. Any help you can give would be appreciated. I know I'm starting to sound like Ray Stantz talking about the pile of 1959 caddy that became the ghostmobile.

Oh and also, I'm up to suggestions as to what I am going to name this car. So far we've had a 97 dodge stratus named Pearl, a 1994 Buick LeSabre named Einhander, and our last car was a 96 Taurus named Wyrd (after the goddess of Fate). Yeah I picked the name after the first 2 listed died in the same month and we scrapped both for this one. Ultimately totalled in a wreck with a drunk driver was a fitting end for such a car with such a name, but it still makes me sad, that much AMERICAN BUILT and ENGINEERED chicago assembled car with the 3.0 L vulcan engine, cast of iron in the forges of Ohio and not a single leak despite topping 153k. Only 145 HP but it got the job done beautifully and dependably. You just don't get cars like that in the new millenium. *sigh* i will miss my 3rd gen taurus. Every day i see a dozen of them being driven bearing the characteristic curves and oval rear window. Anyway. . .a rainy day fund would go a long way towards helping me to learn to love her older sister. Right now I'm thinking of calling her Providence.

I am currently a sophomore in college. My fiance and I live together in a two bedroom apartment. We have gone through three roommates in the past month. The first: hid our bills from us, stole from us, and to top it all off, lied to us about paying rent and disappeared leaving us to pay it on our own. After we scraped and scrounged for every penny, we got the rent money. The next room mate was my fiances good friend from Boston. He wanted to start fresh so we offered him a home on the account of paying for half the rent. We got him a job, and all he did was complain about working, called out, and couldn't make he whole rent. Essentially, it got so bad that we kicked him out. A man my fiance and I have both worked with got kicked out of his home around the same time, so we allowed him to move in. He cleaned, paid us, and was a fabulous room mate. A we days ago, he told us his daughter was diagnosed with diabetes so he was going to move back in with his mother to be closer to her. He took his things with him that night, but swore he would be coming back for my fiances birthday (which is today) and to pay rent (which is due Monday). He called my fiance the day after and said he was in some sort of trouble. We didn't get any details, but we are afraid he won't be able to pay us. Last week after getting m car repaired from a wreck, we now owe $2000 on that, multiple bills and rent adding up to be due next week. On top if this, I just found out I was pregnant yesterday. Neither of us have a good relationship with our families, and have no where else to go if we were to lose our home. I'm not asking for you to empty your wallets, but any help is much appreciated. Please help us keep our home.

I am praying and hoping beyond hope that someone who has been blessed with extra wealth will find it in their heart to help a working family stay ahead of the bill collectors, Put food on the table for our children and keep our vehicles in safe repair.

I am a young single woman trying to make it with only a retail job. I have some physical limitations but not an official disability, so I do not qualify for any aid. I have cut out all social activities other than free ones, and have curbed my spending to the bare minimum to survive. I need help with my rent this month, and I need quite a few things repaired on my car. The car is running, but I do not know for how long it will continue to do so without these repairs.
