Hello, Thank you for reading my post for help. My wife and I and our three small daughters (feline) are going to be evicted from our apartment in 4 days. We got behind in rent due to numerous awful things happening.I lost my job due to "economic reasons" according to the company. They closed the entire office down because what I was told is that they didn't want to renew the lease on the building. After that I had hip surgery ( total hip replacement) and am recovering. You see my wife and I were in a bad car accident 3 months after we got married. My hip was broken in 3 places as well as other injuries, and my wife broke her left ankle and her knee caps were crushed by the steering wheel. She is going to have ankle reconstruction surgery very soon, and I am going back to work. I have resumes and applications out and expect an interview from 2 places next week. We have no place to go and are just trying to get caught up and back on our feet. If anyone can help, God bless you and we will pay it forward, you can be sure of that! I have been fostering feral cats in my rented home for about a year. They are desperately hungry pitiful creatures and I provide them with food, beds, blankets and shelters on the property. Now my landlord has decided he wants to sell the home and refuses to renew the lease. We are hoping to raise enough money to be able to buy the house and stay in the home. If we have to leave the property then these poor creatures will be lost and abandoned once again. We have been able to bring in some of the kittens but most of them are ferals and they are not adoptable. Their only hope for survival is to continue to come to us for food and shelter. We spend all the spare money we have to feed them and we just do not have the funds to put a down payment on the house. These cats have come to view the home as a place to eat and sleep and feel safe. So much so that one of them was out and got hit by a car. In the middle of the night with a broken hip she managed to crawl her way back to our house where we are currently nursing her back to health. We feel so guilty abandoning them since they have come to depend on our sanctury and wil be lost and miserable if we move. Please please I appeal to all you animal lovers to help us raise enough money to buy the home and take care of these precious creatures who have been completely abandoned to the world. We are their only salvation. Please help our time is very limited.

Hello, my name is Mike.I live in Indianapolis,In.Up until March of 2011 I was a cab driver here in town.At that time I was asked by my son to join his small business of cleaning out foreclosed homes,a business he ran along with his regular job. Unfortunately as time went on we found we could no longer work side by side,so I have left as of December 2011.Shortly after leaving my car broke down and any money I had went to utility bills.My goal is to get back in a cab in time for the Super Bowl in February.As my Taxi License expired in September, I need to renew it.The cost to renew your license here is $132.50+ $250.00 for the first weeks rent on the cab.My Goal is to be back in a cab by the Super Bowl,and to continue driving throughout 2012.I know it's a small goal,but it will keep me going thru the lean times.Every $ is appreciated. I cannot believe I am here, for years I ignored this, ignored the less fortunate... The big issue... Now I am here... Don't be like me.

I am the husband of a cervical cancer survivor, I've lost my job and all our savings have been spent keeping my wife alive. Sadly I'm also an immigrant and US Immigration service has refused to renew my work papers, I cannot work, I cannot even claim unemployment because my work papers are not current.

My wife is dying and I cannot even afford the medications she needs to ease her pain, everything is a mess. I do not care about myself, I never had but to see her in such pain and being so helpless is killing me.

We have a ray of hope, end of January I go before an Immigration Judicial review board and from there I might have a road back. Getting there is going to be the problem without us losing everything we have and becoming homeless.

Please help, every little bit even the smallest donation will goes towards my wife needs and not mine. Easing her burden, by having food in the house, to having a roof over her head is the most important thing in the world.

Please help me by donating whatever you can spare. I am in a legal program at a university. I wouldn't be asking for help if I was still employed. I lost my job two years ago. Over the last two years, like so many people, I have searched for employment, but haven't been able to find steady employment.

I began school a year ago, but now that my unemployment benefits have run out, I am unable to pay for the necessary expenses related to the program such as the final payment on proprietary software which is a necessity. Even my anti-virus software subscription is coming due very soon and I can't afford to renew. My computer itself is on it's last leg and I've struggled through crashes because it can barely handle the any of the newer programs which are power hogs. I've received notice that I must return a piece of equipment that I was renting and therefore must rent or lease to own from another company now that I've reached reached this milestone. Hi there, I recently lost my job just adding to the last 2 years of pure hell. I have 16 month old twins and we are facing eviction. I was unable to pay October rent and now its almost Nov. I have lost 2 family members over the last 2 years, along with another being dianosed with terminal cancer this year. First off let me thank you for visiting this web site. Just getting you here is a big accomplishment to me. Okay now you are here if you would take about 5 minutes to read my story and pass along the word that would be a blessing in itself. My name is Tony and I am a 41 year old man. I have a girlfriend/wife that is about the same age. We have a 16 year old son and a 2 year old grandson that we raise. My wife has had several back surgeries and is in the processes of applying for disability. I am currently unemployed and we are a few months behind on bills. Also our car broke down about 2 months ago. We live in Middletown, Ohio. This is our present day situation. Now let me tell you how we got here. My wife/girlfriend met about 9 years ago. Neither of us led a very virtuous lifestyle actually we were both very much into the drug scene and that is how we met. Neither of us had a job and we supported our lifestyle and drug habits by hustling and shoplifting. I am a convicted felon and no stranger to that side of life.I was actually in alot of trouble growing up, never for anything that involved any violence but wrong is wrong no matter how you look at it. Anyway back to my story. Everything we had and all of our energy went to supporting our lifestyle and our habits. Her son was about 7 or 8 at this time and we were homeless and you can’t sleep in a car and hustle everyday and take care of a kid, so what did we do? What would any drug addict do? Give up the kid. Man that is sick. So we sent him to stay with my sister and further immersed ourselves into that life. We lived like this for a couple of years and then I got popped for shoplifting for the umpteenth time and finally had to do a little time.Now during this time I didn't have a religious experience or any type of awakening I just was tired of living this way and subjecting my friends and family to all my bull. So when I got out we sat down and talked and decided to change. We did not go to rehab or any type of program, we just stopped and started living a real life.It was no easy way to go either. we started small, getting jobs,a hotel room and a junker car.She got what she could with her back and I worked a couple of fast food jobs. we worked our way up to an apartment and then a house and eventually better jobs. We also got our boy back and started being responsible people. Now I consider us a success story. Then a couple of years ago her 24 year old daughter had a baby and got into drugs. Isn't it funny how our past always comes back to haunt us? So we took the baby in and counseled her as much as possible but I honestly think most people have to learn about life for themselves.Now her daughter is in jail and we are raising our grand-baby. Actually things have gone quite well for quite a few years, but as with everything in life we have hit a snag.Her back finally gave out and she cannot work and is applying for disability and the company I was working for sold out and with the economy the way it is there are just not that many jobs around and with no car there is absolutely nothing within walking distance. So now I come to my last part of why I asked you here. We have applied for welfare, food stamps,H.E.A.P.,food pantry, and any program I can find to help us! Something else I failed to mention is my wife is a German immigrant and her green card is expired. That cost 600.00 to renew. I desperately need a car which is about 1000.00. I am a few months behind on bills. I do not want to go back to the way I used to be. Now I am not used to asking for charity, or any type of hand out. In the past when I was in need, or I wanted something, I stole or took whatever it was. My girlfriend and I have come a long way physically,mentally,emotionally, and spiritually. I have grown alot and I do not want to go back down that path that I followed in my younger years. I know now that life is full of choices and it is a choice that each of us must choose to do the right thing or the wrong thing, but I also know that sometimes you have to do whatever it takes to survive. My husband is on unemployment and rent is coming due. Had to renew the unemployment and went without a check for about a month. Now I'm behind yet again I need about $200 to pay rent and get all caught up. Anything will help, I am currently going to school and still owe them over $4,000 before I can get my certificate and start working in the "real" world and not for free.

I need to renew my teeth so I can get a job. No - not the reason you are thinking!!!..... I was always a candy-and-soft-drink kind of guy from my earliest childhood in the 40's. The sugar ruined my teeth over a period of many decades. For all those years I kept ahead of the damage because I paid out extraordinary amounts on dental care, year after year, and everything seemed "normal".... I don't drink or smoke or use drugs of any kind. Now I am "sorta retired", trying to live on Social Security at age 68. I tried to "live thrifty", but gradually almost all of the old dental work failed and I lost almost a majority of my teeth, especially all of the uppers in the front - the "interview teeth" ! ! ! ! . I can barely live on the tiny amount I get from "SS" plus pay sky-high regulated-monopoly prices for dental work, so I am living in my car in pain. I am just about to go out panhandling in San Francisco to do SOMETHING! and today I saw this site. Can anybody help me? I can't get a job with my teeth ruined like they are now. I still have maybe half of my teeth and half of the rest are broken rotting stubs, some actively lapsing into toothaches every few days. The remainder are outright missing. All my fault from childhood onwards, I am sure you are saying.....All too true, but I am asking anyway. Please help with anything you can. I have lots of dormant "mainframe" computer skills and internet abilities. I also lots of more-customary regular-job skills, but I am destitute in S.F. with routine monthly expenses - especially with storing the last of my possessions. I can't upgrade my situation unless I have some good-enough teeth that I can go out on a job interview. Also I need to pull the recurring toothache teeth. Hello. My name is Andy and I am in community college, trying to make ends meet. I am struggling to stay in school because it is so hard to find a job right now. I have to pay for my car registration by the middle of next month, get a smog check for it, renew my license, and pay for classes. I am currently in the delayed entry program for the air force and unfortunately I will not be able to go to boot camp for another 8 months because the military is very backed up right now. We are second generation farmers who have struggled with drought conditions and a bank that does not care. Hi, my name is Tiffany Cooley. I am a 23 year old college student living in St. Louis, Mo. I've always tried to remain strong and fight my battles as well as bear the burdens of others. I have been a mother to my younger brother and sister since i was a small child due to my parents' chemical dependancy. We were removed from their custody in 1996 and placed in the care of my aunt. I currently care for my mother. We lived in and out of homeless shelters when i was younger and my mother never recovered from that lifestyle. I got my own place and took her in off of the streets and now am her primary support system. Myself and my younger brother are both college students and our little sister is a junior in highschool. Due to her rebellious ways she was put out of school recently which in turn caused my aunt to put her out. With that being said, I had to take her in and now its just getting harder and harder to make ends meet. My bills are passed due and in threat of disconnection, my lease expires next month on Nov 14th, but i wont be able to renew because they are going up 25 dollars on the rent so I cant afford to stay here. Its hard to find a new place whben i dont have money for a security deposit. And the stress is becoming emotionally and physically overwrhelming. I am a sickel cell anemia patient, trying to go to school, maintain a household, pay a car note and insurance, care for my mother, raise a 16 year old and stay healthy with no help. I work monday through friday but my income is not nearly enough for my obligations and responsibilities I would not be on this website if i didnt really sincerely need help. I've never asked for a hand-out, Im not that type of person,. I am just in over my head right now and i really need some assistance, especially to ensure that I have a place for my sister and I to live next month. If anyone out there can help me out at all, anything to help me get back on my feet, money for food & etc. it would be greatly appreciated.

For the past few months, after working two jobs (one being temporary summer work) and not being able to go to school because of having to work 2 jobs just to pay rent, food and any other necessities I am not able to renew my rent.
