My partner has recently left me, several weeks after being made redundant from my work.

I am now responsible for paying the bills for this month, and with the cost of trying to sort things out with my partner I am short of money to cover utility bills etc.

Any donation will help me to get back on my feet and cover my outstanding bills

thank you so much

Please Please help my family and myself out

We are a loving family and just recently both myself & my wife found ourselves being made redundant from our jobs within a month of each other. This has left us in dire financial need, to help pay our bills and give our 2 lovely children the things they need.

Please give whatever you can to help us out, even the smallest of amounts would be so very gratefully received and put to very good use.

Thankyou so very much & god bless.

Help us get back on our feet

Hi everyone, I was made redundant last September and am the mother of fantastic 6 year old twins - times are getting tougher for us by the day but I have some great ideas for businesses that I know can work to bring my lovely families quality of life back to what it should be - I am working hard on these ideas every day and just need a cash injection to enable me to set up some simple websites that will allow me to work full time again for my wonderful family - if you could just spare a few dollars/pounds I will be returning everything I receive by donating to other worthy recipients once I am back on my feet - thanks for reading and much love to all

Help for a mature student

Hello,
Please could you help me. I am a 40+ student who is trying to get a degree. I worked for 19 years for a firm who made me redundant 2 years ago. I have decided to try and better myself and get some qualifications so I can get another job. I have not been able to work since being made redundant even though I have applied for many part-time and full-time jobs. I am currently in serious debt and any contribution you ould make would be gratefully received.
Many thanks in advance

Hope you read me, and hope even more that you will contribute. Too cut a long story (cue violin) short, I was made redundant for the first time in my life just before Christmas 2010, My wife then proceeded to divorce me - taking the kids, house and everything. To top it all, I have been losing my hearing since I was a kid, and have recently (summer 2011) have had a binaural (double) cochlea implant - which I hope will assist me in re-launching my life. I just need a few dollars/pounds/cents/pennies to help me get by until I get a job - nothing major, but enough to pay the bills/petrol. Most of the little income support I have is being swallowed up by bank charges, with the little remaining going on maintaining contact with the children, food and petrol. I would even appreciate a job if possible and am not fussy about what to do.

Family crisis, Fiancee's mother can't get home.

My Fiancée's mother lives in New Zealand, and has had a bad time financially. She is trying to move back but has hit another financial hurdle as she has been made redundant.
I can't afford to help her any more as I have given all I have, so here I am looking for your help
Hello everyone,

I have been suffering from a recurrent depressive disorder for about four years - with no hope for recovery by means of the conventional medicine. I know a trustful and proven healer who can - and almost certainly WILL - bring me health (and there are many non-medical reasons why I'd like to contact him regardless of anything). Although he expects a rather symbolic fee, I can't afford his help as I'm unable to take up a job (despite of that I have no legal right to receive any kind of social support, what is extremely humiliating for me - I'm tightly tied to my family and this situation resembles an incapacitation).

That's why I would like to ask for a relatively SMALL and ONE-TIME financial help from anyone that can offer it.

I am not asking for a lot of money or help – just enough to allow me to stay on the road to recovery. [about 300$ just for healing with travel costs included - although this amount should be sufficient, I have absolutely no self-earned money - so no donation is redundant!!!]

This request for a humble donation is my *ONLY* way to stay on the road to recovery and, at least, a partial independence. I have absolutely no things which I could sell.

I am willing and able to provide any proof you may need of my health and financial condition.

I know there are plenty of scam artists out there, but I can prove to you that I am not one of them.

My story is not that of someone that most people would be sympathetic to, but I'm as honest as possible.

NO "AMERICAN DREAMS". NO CRAVINGS. NO PARASITISM. NO FOOLISHNESS. I HAVE BEEN ALWAYS HELPING OTHERS AT MY OWN EXPENSE [AND I FEEL I WAS CREATED TO HELP OTHERS AS WELL], SO I'M GRANTING MYSELF THE RIGHT TO ASK FOR HELP (AND TO GET IT) FROM OTHER PEOPLE AT LEAST *ONCE* IN MY LIFE. THIS IS MY FIRST AND PROBABLY THE LAST ACT OF BEGGING.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

falling apart

Hi people

I wont make this ultra long or at least I will try not to ok :)

My name is Christine,I am Scottish, mother of 4 really lovely kids ranging from 2 years to 14 years.

I have been with their father since I was young (16), I have suffered from depression for a long time and never sought help till about 3 years ago.

My partner worked while I stayed at home and looked after the kids, I tried :)

2 years ago my partner was made redundant, since then he's had some work but its been poorly paid and only short term, we have had to rely on the government for help and let me tell you its been no where near enough!
we own our own home (mortgage) and they wont pay it all while he's jobless and we dont get enough money to cover the rest, we have accrued debt from the mortgage and from most of our other bills.
We have been close to eviction on more than 2 occasions, we borrowed the money from his mum, really great of her, she decided she didn't want re-paid which was awesome, but we only just covered that one event, we are still behind and struggling like crazy.
We are all stuck together in this now cramped house as when we initially bought it, we only had 2 kids!
we dont get out, we dont take vacations or holidays, we dont drink nor smoke and though we'd like one, we dont have a car (we cant even drive).

I am stressed, he's stressed, itsnot a nice atmosphere at home like every single day, the kids argue (older kids), mostly over space and we all argue and shout and get upset.

My oartner has been for many job interviews and so far no success, we are not scroungers, he's worked all his adult life and he hates not working and being stuck with me 24/7.

There are some things that have happened, things that I dont want to mention, personal stuff, breaks my heart.........we just need a break, I have been on the verge of a meltdown, surely it cant just continue?

I anyone is in a position to help not just me but my whole family, then please.....it would be the best thing ever!!!

this is probably the most sincere thing I ever wrote right there.

Kind and warm regards Christine

Made redundant and struggling to get back on track

Hi there

My name's John everyone who reads :)

I worked for a large internet bank for 8 years, it was a great job, I loved my job, but unfortunately I was made redundant, my role was telephone buisness development manager.
Since then I manage to get a job in I.T, but unfortunately my contract only temporary, it gave me my first taste of working in I.T.
Since then I have worked for a parcel delivery company and a supermarket stacking shelves, yep that's what it has came down to, the last job was temporary with the promise of being made permenant but it didn't happen.
I have a mortgage and 4 kids, spiralling debts and have almost been evicted from my home 3 times!
I dont want to be unemployed, its demeaning and degrading, I have valuable skills and I am a hard worker!
I just want to provide for my family and have a nice debt free life, isnt that what everyone wants?

I have a good telephone manner, I can use a p.c and I am consciensous and I consider myself to be a people person, I have also lately taken a security guard course at my local college.

I would ideally like to be earning around the £20.000 per annum salary, the bills wont pay themselves.

I dont drink/smoke or get out these days, just want to get by without a struggle.

If you can help, then that'd be totally amazing and I'd be ever so greatful!

John :)

Broken Boiler

Posted by bobbykat on 2012-02-03 16:58:50

Hi, My boiler has broken and been disconnected by the gas engineer. My husband and i both work, and because we earn just over the limit we cannot claim any grants to help with the cost of replacing the boiler. If i was a single parent or on benefits we would be able to.
We have a four year old son. The small amount of savings we had, had to be used when my husband was made redundant last year. As the weather has just turned so cold and we only have 2 electic heaters, which cost a fortune to run, if anyone is able to help we would be very grateful.
Thank you

My debt of $2521.67/£1600.00. Please help.

Hi guys,

I'm not the sort of person to beg and i don't expect sympathy and to use this as a sob story as this is my fault in the first place. I'm 19 years of age and already have the experience of facing debt which i can tell you is not pleasent.

Story...

Ever since two year ago i was introduced to payday loans because due to my credit history where i'd missed my phone bills by accident due to my direct debits not being payed properly it affected my credit rating badly so i was unable to get a proper loan to learn how to drive. I eventually got into a situation where i took out a payday loan to pay the other payday loan and ended up in one vicious cycle. The problem was a couple of month ago i was made redundant and fortunately i found a job the month after with great career prospects (apprenticeship) the only bad thing is i have took a massive pay cut which means i can't afford to pay these debts anymore. So i'm asking anyone out there even if it's just £1/$1 they have free (sorry i'm english) then please donate to my cause? I know there are people out there who are far off worse (homeless/in huge amounts of debt compared to mine) but it's the most horrible situation. I can't sleep or think about anything else other than the problem i'm currently facing. Anybody who can help i will be forever indebted too.

Thanks

Jamie

England.

IN NEED OF EVERYTHING!!!!

Hi, I have been a single mum for 12 years. I was made redundant 6 years ago and since then things havent improved. I have 2 jobs which just about pay the bills. We are not destitute, I struggle to pay the mortgage and bills but thank god we have a roof over our heads. I'm in desperate need of a new car (the tyres are costing more than the car is worth!) so that I can get to work to earn the money to pay the bills...!!! I dont want a new car or a porsche just a decent runabout to get me to work and back and to be able to take my daughter to singing lessons, that's all she wants to do is sing! Thank god we have our health (just) but life is tough, I know it is for lots of people now. Thanks for reading this and hope you can help us.

STRUGGLING TO SURVIVE AFTER LOSING BOTH MY MUM & DAD

Posted by Tigerelle on 2012-01-27 19:58:37

Hello, I'm Eleanor and I am 28 and have had a VERY hard year, i lost both my mum and dad Barbara & Paul Fynn within 4 months of each other. My dad died suddenly of stomach cancer and my mum died of Diabetes. I lost the house then that they rented and I had grown up in for nearly 30 years.

I have recently been made redundant in December, just 3 days before christmas and am struggling so much to now pay my bills and rent. I live on my own and am worried that I could, again lose the house i'm living in. I just don't know what else to do.

I have no brothers or sisters so have no one to turn to and am worried I am about to become homeless, for the 2nd time in a year.

I would greatly appreciate any kind of donation that will help me out.

Thank you so much :-)

Wife is pregnant and both have been made redundant

Please please please help.
My wife and I are expecting our second child in June, and last month were both made redundant from our public sector jobs.
Christmas which is meant to be a joyful time was nothing full of worries for both of us. The more my wife gets upset the more desperate I am, as I know the stress is no good for my wife or our unborn child. We have enough saved up for another two months but then nothing.
Please donate as much as you can and keep your fingers crossed for me, as I'm going for another interview next week.

Money For Clothes

Posted by dudedavis on 2012-01-25 09:58:28

over the past couple of years myself and my husband have been very unlucky with employment. We have either been made redundant, or in my husbands case the building trade has gone down hill. My husband did get a permanent Job but the monies earn't has gone towards essential household bills and there isn't enough money to go around. I have now secured a permanent job but unfortunately it is in an office and I do not have the suitable attire to dress for this job and have no money to buy new clothes as we have more pressing debts such as car finance, insurances, mortgage, council tax etc. I would appreciate any donations from 30p to £1.00 to help me buy the much needed clothes I need to maintain and keep my permanent position any donations would be gratefully received.

Desperate! No job, yet a mountain of bills to pay

Posted by Baileyrabbit3 on 2012-01-24 15:58:27

Hello, I moved out of my family home 18 months ago to pursue a better life and career in a large city in England. Everything was going well until last December when I was unfortunately made redundant out of the blue. I have used the small amount of money I had to pay for December and January. I have had to start claiming JSA, but this doesn't even cover a quarter of my bills. I am now really struggling, falling behind on rent already and not being able to pay off the credit cards that I took out when I had a job. I know this is my own fault and that I should of been more careful with money. But I really have fallen in to financial hardship at this time. My phone has been cut off and I have had my ebay account closed due to not being able to pay ebay seller fees as I had to use the money for food. Thus meaning I can't even sell the very little amount of possessions I own.

I haven't got any dependents and I don't have any life threatening illnesses. I understand if you bypass me for someone more needy, but I would be grateful for anything you could spare me as I really am desperate. I have over £800 due to come out of my account next week and my overdraft maxed. I have no one to turn too. Please if you could, consider me.

Kind Regards, a desperate and worried young lady.

hi,i was made redundant in July 2011 and with the paltry amount of redundancy i was given i decided to spend it starting my own sole trader odd job business.well things where moving along just fine at first but in October of 2011 we lost a family member under tragic circumstances which resulted in me being unable to work for ten weeks.i have since moved the surviving relative in with myself and the rest of the family but am unable to meet the cost of bills as work as gone very quiet due to the recession.the relative as no job and she as just lost her husband and her son,she now only has a disabled son who is in care most of the time due to the severity of his disability,he is the only thing that is keeping her going.my wife as a part time job with no chance of taking on more hours due to having to look after the relative.
i have always been a hard working man and have not asked anything for myself.however things are getting bad now and after everything the family have been through the last thing we need is loosing our home so i would be very grateful for any help no matter how small.
i ask nothing for myself only a little help to keep a loving family together under very hard times.

thank you for taking the time to read our letter of help.

help me get people swimming

Posted by psquire on 2012-01-24 10:58:16

Hello one and all,

As some of you may know and for those that dont i am completely passionate about swimming...in any water at any time any where and with as many people as i can, and i am equally passionate about encouraging others to do the same. I have thoroughly enjoyed coaching each and every person that i have come across that has asked for it (and some that haven't), whether that is for an event, a race, fitness, mental health what ever the reason, i have endeavored to create a safe environment were all feel safe, achieve, surpass that achievement and go on to develop a deep passion for swimming. I have met some incredible people along the way, who's reasons for wanting to enter or re-enter the water have left me breathless at times.
I would now like to turn that passion into something more, the group is expanding which i am overjoyed with, people are progressing, requests are coming in for me to help more and more people and each and everyone of them will get my undivided attention.

But i want to turn my passion into a qualification and therefore what to formalise what i am doing and 'be qualified' so we can get more and more people into the open water, the pool and into swimming in general. I also wish to apply for funding to the group so we can get training aids, wetsuits etc so the cost of starting in open water or any other type of swimming is not so great for people, i have been informed that if i am qualified and formalise the group we can apply and will certainly get funding for equipment. I want to make it a truly inclusive hobby or sport for people of all ages, abilities and disciplines. This last year has shown me how passionate i am about helping people reach their goals and i want to continue to do so.

But right now i need your help, as some of you know, i got made redundant (believe me i was not pleased about it) and money is not the easiest thing for me to find, swim courses are not held on a roll on roll off basis, there is a course coming up in March, but applications have to be in by the 6th of Feb, so essentially i have until the 5th to raise the money. My plan for the immediate and long term future is to get myself qualified then to raise money through sponsorship and any other means i can to get others qualified so that each an every one of us that wants to can get not only a qualification but a career in swimming, so we can keep the bug that is inside all of us alive and kicking. I also plan to extend this to other groups so they can be formalised and each of us do the same in our respective locations. There are no formal qualifications other than triathlon ones to teach open water swimming...as a trainer i will be looking to write a course for others to qualify in, we all work hard at our hobby, but i feel we could really expand what we do and really open it up to the masses. You know how passionate i am but also how proud so i do not ask lightly, your generosity would be appreciated, even if its just a penny...look down the back of the sofa....!!! I know times are hard for one and all so that is why i will understand if you can not help..if you can you know it will be money not wasted. For each an every one of that gets qualified a new swim adventure starts, we will be a team and who knows in the future we might be recognised for the impact we have on swimming and those who want to swim! How do you donate....via paypal as i think that is the safest way!!! If you can think of any other way i can raise the money ......let me know!!

My paypal address is pauline_squire@sky.com

Anything no matter how large or small would be eternally grateful. It goes without saying, my progress, the swims, the fun the laughter and the future will all be blogged about ...so there will be plenty for you to read about too xxxx

Worst year for me and my 2 year old

Posted by Worstyearever on 2012-01-24 05:58:17

Ill start with a very quick down of why I'm desperate for help...

In April 2011 my partner of 10 years decided enough was enough and kicked me and my little girl out who was 1 at the time, we were forced to sell our first family home.

It was then I discovered he had been cheating on me....

In less then a year I've lost my home, my partner and of all things yesterday I was made redundant from my part time job, the only thing that was keeping me afloat.

I'm struggling now to pay my bills and rent and don't want my daughter to suffer for her father mistakes....

Please if you can help in anyway even if it's 1p...
And when I'm up and running again I promise I will help other people in my current situation
