Hi, I am aspiring to be a music producer. About two years ago I decided that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life, which is why I spend so much time practicing, every spare minute I have is spent learning new aspects of audio production. I'm so dedicated to this, all I wan't to do is produce music.

I still feel that my skills are lacking in a few different areas, so last year I started sending out applications to studio's around the UK, the replies that I got stated that I need a degree in Audio Production to be able to work in a recording studio. So since last year I have been searching for an institute to study at and found an amazing place to study called SAE Institute in Liverpool. The course is a 2 year BA/BSc (Hons) Degree in Audio Production, and after the course ends you are prepared for work in any sector of the audio production industry, from music production to live sound and broadcast, post production for film, video and TV. So there are many different roots I would be able to go down if I was lucky enough study there.

I have managed to save £4000 up to now, however, the fee's and living expenses amount to around £29,000, (this is a link to view the living expensis http://www.saeuk.com/downloads/FeeSchedule(Combined)Liverpool.pdf) Unfortunately, I cannot get funding for the course and a bank loan is not available to me but by the time the course starts on 07/10/2012 I will hopefully have saved around another £4000.

After looking for ways to generate the funds I need to be able to study at SAE I came across this website, I think it's an amazing way to help someone out who is in need. I'm just really hopefull that there will be someone out there who has been in the same situation as I am now, who know's how it feels to wan't something so bad that it hurts. I really feel I have the drive and determination to succeed in reaching my goals of becoming a music producer and any donation that you make, big or small, will have helped me get a step closer to fulfilling my dreams. I have a son is very talented. He had been accepted to a great recording arts program but I'm afraid I'm gonna crush him when I tell him I can't afford it. I work 26 days a month but still live paycheck to paycheck even though we don't waste money. My ex-husband was an alcoholic so I left with 6 suitcases and never looked back. I had to start over with nothing but I have worked hard and never accepted any type of government assistance. It has been a hard 8 years but I am now swallowing my pride and begging that someone would help me get my son to college. He has never been in trouble and every teacher he has ever had has always says he is polite and works hard. We come from a small rural town and he would be the first in my entire family to attend a university. He even volunteers for several charity events every year. Alright, this stories probably all over this site. Not surprisingly as, from experience, I can say its easy to pick a place to live over a computer when the chips are down. My wife and I moved back to Maine after failing to find work on the drastically overhyped southern job market. I had a seasonal job at best buy but was recently laid off. Long story short, rent had to be paid. A laptop is necessary for me for a lot of reasons. It provides access to the internet, a crucial tool for job hunting. It serves as a word processor for working on writing (I write short stories and comic books) and it also serves as a home recording interface for my meager bedroom musical endeavors. I realize these are all things that could easily be considered trivial or easily remedied, I know what a library is for instance, but I'm still hoping that someone out there might feel like taking a shot in the dark on a stranger in need. PLEASE HELP ME, I KNOW I AM BEING POISONED. I have a very strong reason to believe I am being poisoned by the tenants or staff I the government owned apartment building I'm living in, based on the behavior of the building staff and tenants as well as the severe fatigue and decline I feel during and after every shower I take, cup of the tap I drink, or food I eat from preparation in my kitchen using the water. I need $750 to have the samples I have already collected on video, confirmed by a lab giving me an substance identification, I then can begin taking the appropriate legal action being that I can already prove beyond a reasonable doubt with videos I already have posted on youtube. Hi, I am a former musical director who lost his full-time job due to younger generation moving in to replace me. I am 55 years old, in good shape and currently enrolled and have done very well in Voice Acting/Multi-Media/Film classes which are very expensive trade school type intense studies.

I am about half-way through the courses I need to launch my new career as a Multi-Media voice/music/acting/film/producer/director/advertiser. This will entail building a home studio, installing equipment and website/marketing costs. I am also playing in two bands and teaching guitar lessons trying to make up the lost income.

My motivation to ask for help financially is due to my hearing aids which are now very outdated. My right hearing aid has been repaired several times and no longer functions properly, I cannot use it to hear conversation. My left aid works but doesn't have the power I need to listen in class and hear what I need to excel. I use an outboard listening device right now but it is horrible quality. I am essentially rendered partially deaf because I cannot afford new hearing aids.

Our personal debt has been managed by my Wife's job but we cannot afford anymore credit card debt. What we bring in pays the bills, there's no more room for new hearing aids which cost $6500.00 for the quality I need. The top of the line aids are needed because of my new career, voice acting in a quiet studio, teaching guitar, live music performance, front of camera work. Contacting clients by phone and computer. All require a wide range of hearing.

My eyesight is now deteriorated where reading glasses don't handle my needs. I need either contacts or Lasik to go from reading copy, to front of camera to intense computer work.

I am looking for some backing to help in a business venture. I am a songwriter in TN. that has had great feedback from publishing companies. The only problem is they want full production demos, and I am only equipped to do acoustic. I need someone who can help me purchase the equipment to give them just that. I can also use the studio to record other acts. I am not an amature, but with a family (wife and 4 children) I have to use what I have to support them. I have been fortunate enough to have been offered a two song songplugging contract with a major independent publisher/plugger on music row (which I will give the name of to anyone who can help). I am very lucky to recive this as I only have acoustic demos and they want full production, but they heard something they like. I stand a great chance of getting more songs plugged or signing a publishing deal if I can give them what they want. So I am asking (well begging really) for the help to set up my studio. I'm 43 yrs. old and cannot walk without the use of two canes. I have suffered damage to my knees and lower legs due to venous insufficiency caused by complications from a severe staph infection I contracted about three years ago.

I am finally slowly digging my way out of this deep hole. In the last year I have quit smoking, conquered my drug addiction, have healed about 95% from the staph infection and have made great strides in battling depression and losing weight. I have been a musician most of my life and I'm now physically up to using that skill again to earn some extra money, but because of my illness I was forced to sell every last bit of my equipment and instruments to pay for my medical bills. Hello all. I am a musician in a band that is absolutely broke. I am not sure if i should be putting this under entertainment exept that it is for the entertainment of others. Right now we are using some really crappy instruments and have no means of recording. So if anyone can help at all it would be greatly appreciated.
