My 1997 Chevrolet has stopped running. I overpaid $2700.00 for it, and now to fix it, it will cost more than it's value. I live far away from my job where I just started working this week after looking for work for more than four months. So in a nutshell, I'm completely broke.

I decided that the safest route to go would be to buy a scooter, as they're more convenient, there's less likely for something to go wrong, and they're cheaper and better on gas. However, I have absolutely no money to buy one, and since I have no vehicle or transportation what so ever, I won't be able to make it to work, and this will only make my situation worse.

I have found some very nice used scooters for $500 on craigslist nearby. I would so incredibly grateful if you could help me with this $500 and I will have NO problem paying you back $100 or more a month via. paypal until I have paid you off. I can't take out a loan because I'm only 20 and haven't developed enough credit to do so (trust me, I've been down that route).

If you do this for me, I will be able to get to work, by groceries, and keep on going until things get better for me. Also, I was recently accepted into Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and a scooter would be perfect for getting around a place like that.

That's all I need, just $500. I'll pay you back monthly, I'll also give you any information you need in order to prove to you that I'm good for it. I can even set up a contract (if need be) stating that I WILL pay off said vehicle by a certain date. Anything you give will help. I'll be extremely grateful for any amount you send and put it all towards a new mode of transportation so I can make it to work.

I recently ran into some really hard times. I've got my tuition loans all the way down to $1,100.00 and my wife lost her job, and I lost my second job. Things are rough, and the bills are piling up while we both look for another job. I am not a slacker, I've worked all my life for everything I do (or don't) have, and all I'm asking for is a little generosity in return. I recently started my own business which I am running out of my home. I am not making any money. As a matter of fact, it is putting me in the hole more than it is helping me out. Hello, I am a student wanting to accomplish my dream by obtaining my degree in biology. I have been in school thus far for three years and have one more to go. However, I can't afford to go anymore. I recently lost my job, have no finacial aid coming in, and my parents basicaly told me I'm on my own. I don't have bad parents they just can't afford it. I have been stuggling for some time now and I came across this site. I'm not a lazy person looking to get by on others I am a hard worker and am looking for another job. I recently lost my job to someone in the companies family, I am scared to lose my apartment too because I need the living until I finish school to land a better job. I used my remaining money from work, and financial aid to pay as much rent as I could without facing eviction and tuition debt. Now I have no job, car, or money to afford food until next month. I recently lost my job and was forced to give up my apartment and move back in with my mother, who lives in another state. I had nothing to do with her for a number years, as she was/is extremely abusive, but being unemployed and close to homelessness I was running out of options and she promised she'd changed and would help me get back on my feet. Unfortunately she lied, and my life has been hell ever since. She refuses even to let me leave the house and constantly tells me how worthless I am, and keeps me up half the night screaming at me. I don't have any friends to turn to and at this point I'd rather be homeless than deal with my mother anymore. I understand there are lot of people on here who need help, but all I'm asking for is a Greyhound bus ticket so I can finally escape. I've looked online and a ticket would cost about $200 from where I am to New York, which is where I used to live. But any assistance at all would be greatly appreciated!!! I'd also pay you back as soon as I was able to. Thank you.

I recently filed for bankruptcy and got my discharge like 2 months ago. Since my discharge I had a sezuire at work and had to be rushed to the hospital (Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. I had no health insurance at the time and recieved a $7,209 hospital bill stay from them. I'm really sad that this happened to me due to the fact I had finally got out of debt and now after spending like $1,500 on filing for BK, now I'm back in the whole...I wanted to try to buy a home in 2 years after my BK and now unless I pay this off, that will probably not happen for my daughter and I. Also, its not the only debt that I have after BK, I couldn't include my student loans in my BK, so I have like $11,000 in sallie mae loans for school. I am asking for help with my hospital bill, so it would truly be a blessing if anyone out there had extra money and could help me pay this bill, I would greatly appriciate it! I am going to start paying little monthly payments on my student loans to try to get that down little by little. If someone is seriuosly wanting to help me, we can communicate through email and I would gladly give you my medical bill info and their number, so you wouldnt feel like you were being lied to or anything, I already feel akward asking for help over the internet, but what can I do? I have been working since high school and have recently lost my job my junior year in college. My courses start in the summer because i had to sit out spring. I have used all loans and grants that are available to me and feel as if I have reached a dead end. I need $1300per semester and have two left so that is $2600. Recently my house has flooded due to a back up in the sewage line in my neighborhood. My entire carpeting, vinyl, and a foot from all my walls. This has amounted to a bill of $2250. I am a teacher at the elementary level so this bill is more than I make in a month. Also this is not the only bill I have to fund. If interested I do have pictures, they have refused to do any of the rebuild until I am able to pay them.

Me my sister and she husband live in rented house, where we share expenses. Recently we found out that my brother in law (my sister’s husband) is dieing of lung cancer . at this point treatment is not an option .all that can be done is keep him as comfortable as is possible until the end .which will not be long from what I am seeing, dr told us it a matter of days now. when he finally goes this will leave a problem . we split the expenses and with out his help I and my sister will not have the money to keep a roof over our heads . so I am posting this to get raise funds to help pays the bills and hopefully keep a roof over my and my sisters head. plus pay the costs of the funeral .

I have a family of five in need of financial assistance to make ends meet this month. Our rent is due plus late fees which equals $1500. I recently decided to make a better future for my self and my family and decided to go to nursing school which by the way at the time sounded like a wonderful idea. I now have only 12 months left and we are sinking fast. My husband works his butt off to provide for myself and our three kids but recently work had dropped so we are now about to be evicted. My name is Jason, I am 28 Years old and married with three children ages 7,4 and 1 month. When me and my wife married we were "given" my parents home in NY as a "wedding Gift"( home still had mortgage whcih we make the payments on) My wife and i have built a happy stress free life together, only to have it shattered, by drug addict co dependant family mmebers who feel since the home is still owned by my parents (although i pay the mortgage) they can come and go as they please. I have tried everything form asking them to leave , to having my parents ask them to leave, only to be reminded how its "not my home" and i cant make the rules. My wife and i are destroyed at the fact that anyone would tell us its ok that they are putting my childrene in danger or making my kids see there family members like they are. I have been to every bank possible in order to purchase this home from my family, only to be told that iven with anf FHA loan i will still need close to 12000.00 dollars to put down on this home in order to buy it, make it my own, and keep the people whos own selfinshness and obscured mental state is only adding to the destruction of a once happy home. My only other option is to move again from a home i love, that my wife and children love and move away from these people, or purchase the home (which was the plan originally) I now have a a family mmeber leaching off of us, refusing to leave because "its not my home" my wife is out of work on disability due to a recent surgery, she will be returning to work in the next 3 weeks, I have done everyhting for my family, dropped what i was doing at insane times of the night to go "rescue" my drug addict family members, emptied my chiuldrens savings accounts to "save" my drug addict family memebers, gotten loans in my name to save my drug addict family members, only to have it thrown in my face, I am the little borther who spent his life haveing to be the big brother, and i just cant anymore, all that matters to me is my children and wife and keeping them in a safe and stable home where they can have the life i did not,I know its a long shot and everyone has a sob story, but i have no where left to turn, please im begging on my hands and knees, forget pride i just want to save my real family, my wife and kids, they are all that matters to me. My children are in a good school district doing very well, i just dont know what else to do, thank you for your consideration, and any help you can give.

My name is Kris, and I am a 28 year old mother to 2 boys, aged 9 and 4. I was recently laid off from a decent paying job, and haven't been able to find a new one yet, though I'm trying EVERY day. I have already had my cable/internet shut off. I'm on my phone now. That will be shut off soon, I'm sure. Car insurance has elapsed, rent is passed due. I'm defeated. I would be grateful for help with anything, but mostly, I need household items. Dish soap, laundry soap, toilet paper, toothpaste, etc. This is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. I am a single mother of two. I recently just moved and I am having a hard time getting adjusted. I do have a job, but I have been playing catch up on the rent. I did make that a priority so that we would at least have a roof over our heads. But that has left us almost starving. I have been to the local food banks, but they all only run only once a month. I have applied for government assistance, but because I make more than minimum wage they are unwilling to help at all! I am drowning here and I don't want my children to starve! My little dog recently suffered with vertigo, i took him to our local vet & they flushed out his ears but while they were doing it discovered a tumour in his ear canal. He was referred to a specialist to have m.r.i scan & inner ear removal.The specialist vets also advised us to have his larynx operated on at the same time, so we took their advice. The ear operation went well but throat op caused problems & now our fit little dog has been left with a nasty cough for life that needs to be controlled with medication. We expected the pet insurance we had to pay for the treatment but as the tumour turned out to be a polyp he is not covered as he was prescribed ear drops for an infection 3 yrs ago.So now i have put a £6000 vet bill on my credit card that i am struggling to pay off. Any help would be greatly apprieciated Thank you
