Almost homeless college graduate and mother

Posted by tori1974 on 2012-04-17 17:58:18

Dear Reader
I graduated college but the jobs aren’t calling. I am a mother and have now incurred student loans of $12,312 not including the accruing interest for which I cannot pay back because I am not employed. I am not above working even low wage jobs at this point but I have been turned down by those employers claiming that I am overqualified. All of my savings are used up and I will soon lose my apartment. I really need help so please consider donating I will be forever thankful.

Please help me get my horse back and avoid hooking

Posted by abacuschicken on 2012-03-22 12:58:00

Dear Reader,

Thank you for taking time to read this. I have a young mare that I am desperate to have brought to me by tranport. I moved away from California in pursuit of a better paying job and to get out of escort work. I will do just about anything to avoid having to go back to that, including asking strangers for sincerely needed help. I am running out of time as the place she is kept at requires that she leave by the middle of April. I live with no luxuries, including no car to keep her because she means so much to me. Lucy makes my economic struggles worthwhile and provides motivation and gives me something to be happy about.

Help me fix my Scooter!

Ive had this Yamaha Vino 125 for about a year now, but its had nothing but bad luck. Been in an accident and my boneheaded attempt to fix it myself didnt work out too well. So now im asking you, gentle reader, to help me get it into a shop for a proper repair job and inspection. Looking for 300-500, but every penny counts. Thanks.

Please help me walk again - I'm begging you Reader

Posted by Willingtowalkagain on 2012-02-06 10:58:46

Hello Reader,
I am 30yrs old woman, I'm living with my husband in a rented flat.
When i was a kid i had a surgery on my right leg, a surgery that went wrong. After that i had to go under 15 other surgeries on my right leg to be able to walk.
I had to be treated in Italy cause at that time there were no specialists in Poland (that's where i'm from). My parents spent all their savings to pay for my treatment.
Today i am an independent person, last fall i started my own business which requires a lot of driving and meetings with clients.
Unfortunately right before Xmas i fell down on an icy road twisting my right knee. I was
hospitalized for a couple of weeks. Now, after several tests and analysis it turns out i have to go under another surgery to fix my knee.
Otherwise i won't be able to drive or bend my knee at all for the rest of my life.

However this will cost about $3.000 and me and my husband, we don't have this amount of money.
My husband has two jobs just to pay the bills.
All the medical bills so far were paid from our credit cards. But we have no more credit, no savings and due to the fact i cannot drive i cannot run my business which is also consuming money.
We have huge debts in banks and on our credit cards that we used to pay for my medical bills and for rent.
Please help us in anyway you can.
We're trying to save as much money as possible, even buying less food.
Please, any amount that you can donate will help us get through this.

I feel this is my year!

Posted by ipurrr on 2011-12-25 14:58:15

Hi out there in the universe.

I would like to ask for the reader of my post to help me out a bit. I've been down on my luck but I keep trying to pull myself out. I won't give up but it would be nice if someone would/could give me a leg up. Every time I think things are evening out for me, I get a whammy and end up under the line again.

I'm trying to start my business, hold a family together along with working to keep it all together.

I'm putting this out in the universe.

Mister Universe, I look forward to your response.

Cheers

Please Help a Graduate Pay Her $275,000 Student Loans

Posted by Tiffcat on 2011-10-10 18:58:49

Dear Reader:
I am currently an unemployed law school graduate who has over $275,000 in student loans to pay (college, law school, and bar study loans combined). I went to school with the goal of increasing my ability to earn a good living but I cannot find a job to save my life. I have been rejected from retail and restaurant jobs because I'm overqualified while being rejected from law firms because I am under qualified. I am now sinking into a deep state of depression over the fact that the tiny bit of savings I have left in the bank to pay my bills is rapidly shrinking as each month passes. School should not cost so much, especially if there is little promise for employment following graduation.

Unlike the average person who could use a little extra cash for something, I am nearing complete homelessness. My struggle is not with credit card debt but with educational debt and the fact that I'm unemployed and cannot convince any employer to hire me. Without an income and bills mounting, I will end up on the street by January. With little hope left, I issue this beg for help.

In desperate need of help

Posted by gman23 on 2011-09-01 22:58:27

I hate having to do this but i see no other way than having to ask for some help. My sister and I are trying to make it on our own but she is a college student (about to get kicked because we cant pay her tuition) working two jobs that pay very little and I am having a hard time finding a job. What little money we make goes to gas and food and thats not even enough. I finally have a job lined up but i don't start working for a few weeks yet. We just got hit with the news that our parents got kicked out of their home, along with our two younger brothers, because a meter reader came bye and refused to turn on the electricity because the wiring in the house is "unsafe" according to him and they are now living in a hotel on a teachers salary, that was just cut down to part time due to budget cuts, and my dad is unable to work due to the fact that his cancer (leukemia) just came out of remission and progressed to lymphoma. On top of all that, our rent was due today and I have to make a car payment soon or they're gonna put a hook on it and pull it away. I'm a shame of my self that I've let it come to this point when I need to beg for help. I was do pretty good on my own working full-time at a fast food restaurant and then getting deployed to Afghanistan with my reserve unit. After a year long tour, I came back and quite my job to go to school full time, but then my dad started to get sick and when i tried to find a job the recession really took its toll and every one, I mean every one was on a hiring freeze and the only job i could find was delivering newspaper in the early morning for $125.00 a week but that wasn't enough to pay my bills so thats when i started to fall behind. That was 1 year ago and i finally found a better job as an overnight stocker because i moved 1000 miles away to live with my sister in her one bedroom apartment that we cant even afford. I don't know how we are going to keep our bills payed and keep from getting evicted until i get my first check from work in about a month because i don't even start working until three weeks from now. Please Help US. GOD BLESS

Help an author get recognized

Posted by LittleLulu13903 on 2011-06-17 10:58:22

I am an avid reader and writer since I was a teenager. While I write and read on a variety of topics, my favorite genre is fantasy.

To keep things short and simple, I finally got my first novel-which is geared towards teenagers and young adults-published and it is for sale through the kindle store. I decided after several years of rejection through taditional publishers, to go the kindle (and other handheld device) route. Doing it this way gives the average lover of fantasy the opportunity of reading my book.

While I will not get rich with this book-I am offering this at the lowest cost possible-I want to become recognized as an author. I know it will not happen over night. However, I believe that if I can sell at least 1,000 copies of my book-which is highly probable with the amount of individuals who own a kindle or have a kindle app on their phones-I will be heading in the right direction.

So please help me reach my goal of selling 1,000 copies.

By the way I am in the middle of editing a second fantasy novel, which I also plan to distribute to Kindle.

Would You Please Help With This Endeavor?

Dear Reader,

Setting up the website below is likely the most practical avenue that I can take at this point. I am caught in the payday loan trap. My overall credit rating is low. I have somewhere between $20,000 and $30,00 of overall debt. At the same time, I have a stable job in the professional world, while I also do some independent freelance work in my field on the side. Both of my checking accounts are in the negative right now. I have regular bills coming due very soon! So, I am utilizing the Internet to ask folks to donate money to me with respect to my present circumstances.

Even if you are only willing and/or able to donate $1, this would be helpful. The website is not a landing page. There are no sponsored ads on this site. This is not a scam. I will use the money for my immediate financial needs, to pay the payday loan companies, to start paying down my overall debt at a better pace, and to invest in my independent freelance work. If you have any questions about any relevant details, please do ask (contact info is on the website).

I had thought about asking for folks to consider the possibility of providing a direct personal loan for my own emergency needs, debt consolidation, etc., but I am not sure if that is wise. However, this sort of loan could be used for consolidation. In the big picture, it might be best to ask for donations, be thankful for what I receive, and focus on earning money in as many legitimate/legal/ethical ways as possible.

As I write this here, it might be acceptable to you (if you are not willing to donate) to ask me to do some freelance work for you in my field. We could discuss that option by E-mail of course (again, contact info is on the website).

Again, thank you for your consideration.

I tried to find a low rend loan to pay of some large outstanding bills,

Now every month i fill one financial gab with the next gab.
If i cant find help soon, we will loose our home and also our 2 oldest kids.
(We went to court 3 years long to get the two oldest kids back from my husbands ex wive and to get some child support from her with all the hi costs of a lawyer)
Are there people who can help us with a longtime low rent loan, ore some money to pay the bills with.

Help me restore my beautiful legs

Posted by jefany on 2011-03-29 06:58:19

My name is Jefany and am 44 years old. As a young girl, I used to have lovely legs! People would first notice my legs and then they would move their eyes upwards to see who was the owner of such great lets (hahaha). However, due to reasons unknown to me, my legs have over the years developed varicose veins that are very unsightly. I am so embarrassed of my legs that am now forced to wear trousers, long dresses and skirts. I once used to love showing off my legs by wearing outfits that would show them off. I have visited various doctors and they all say that I need laser therapy to get rid of this problem. The cost of this treatment is roughly $5000. I am a school teacher and my salary is not enough to pay for this treatment. I am requesting you good reader to assist me so that I can enjoy life once more and wear all those lovely outfits that I cannot wear due to my ugly legs. If you wish I can send you pics of me before and after the surgery. Thanks as you prepare to donate.

Appointed Vision LLC’s book Darnia's Quest: A Spiritual Journey To Awaken Your Imagination (Christian Services Network, ISBN 159352098-0) is a book that brings a clean and wholesome message to children that many do not see reflected in movies, television, or other books. Our children worldwide are not learning the message of the Love of God and that is why a book such as Darnia's Quest is so important since it magnifies that message.

Appointed Vision LLC provides a faith based fantasy book to the 300 million reader children's book market largely dominated by Harry Potter. Our objective is to foster a love for reading in children and also to draw them closer to their relationship with God. The bigger picture is that we are providing a book that ultimately will help children and teens choose a better path in life, one that would include athletics, church attendance, achievement, and after school programs including Karate, rather than choosing the path of drug addiction, promiscuity, shoplifting, or witchcraft. This echoes the theme of our books which is to teach children to love and be themselves 100% and love God 100%! We desire to see all students grow in their faith and/or come to knowledge of faith in Christ, to insure both earthly and eternal security for their young lives.
