The little money I had went on purchasing a video camera, a fundamental tool for my work. However,last week whilst travelling back from a client, I was mugged and my camera and all accessories were stolen. I have no hope of ever seeing these again :-(.

I am currently deployed over seas and will be for the next year. While I am deployed in an area that I can keep in touch with my family, my current laptop computer just isn't capable of skyping with my family without having a lot of issues and it is really frustrating. I'm not looking for someone to drop enough for me to buy a complete one but if anyone can help supplement me purchasing my own so that I can talk to the wife and kids without my computer throwing a fit, of course I would be very grateful.

My Current Laptop is a Dell Inspiron E1505 with 1GB of Ram, 64 GB Hard Drive, an old Core Duo processor, and integrated video.. It runs but if I have to switch with skyping and viewing what my wife/kids are looking at online, the thing freaks out.

Finding work is difficult in New York. I am depressed about my current situation and sometimes feel hopeless. I would like to move to a warmer climate. I would like to help my children financially as well as provide housing for my mentally ill son. Purchasing a house in foreclosure will give us a fresh start and perhaps provide employment for both of us as I would like to start a bed and breakfast business.

My girlfriend and I are stranded in Houston, Texas after purchasing a car battery that took our remaining 90 dollars. We're currently living in my car.

For three months, we've went from town to town on a limited budget looking for work. Until recently, we hadn't had much luck. We've spent hours applying to jobs all across the country and at home in Louisiana. Last night, we received a promising opportunity in New Orleans, and with less than a hundred dollars, we were ready to leave immediately.

Unfortunately, our battery was dead. A gentleman tried jumping us off, but that didn't work. He took me all around to find a battery that I could afford, and it completed emptied my funds.

We're only asking for enough money to get to New Orleans, which is about 45 dollars. We have food in the car, so we are fine on that front. In order to take advantage of our opportunity, we need to be in New Orleans by Wednesday.

I need help with some cash. My bills are piling up and Im being threatened to be evicted. I am an able bodied worker but there is mostly only factories where I live and they are never hiring or will call me back when a position is available. I havent got any calls so I am on here as a last resort. I have a 2005 chevy cavalier with only 89,ooo miles. the car is practically new on the inside. it still has the styrofoam for the jack and everything. it blue books at 7900.00 but i am willing to take alot less because it needs a little work. the parts n all is less than 500.00 total. Today we found out that it is going to cost us $8500 to get a new roof. Unfortunately, we have not been so fortunate in the financial department over the past year and a half.

Last year and just under a year before that, our dog decided it would be fun to break her leg. First the left, then the right. Due to the fact that her legs are too small for casts we had to opt for surgery both times. Well come to find out her right leg decided not to heal right and she had to have 2 additional surgeries. I'm not sure if anyone has ever had a dog in the ER...IT'S EXPENSIVE.

Well, after that, our fence decided to fall over...so we had to get a new fence. Due to the condition of the fence all the way around, we had to replace the whole thing. The neighbors didn't want to help, so we did what we had to.

Now.....we have to replace the roof!

I don't know what to do besides come on here and ask for help. We are both low income individuals, and I have just finished school and now have a HUGE student loan.

I am hoping someone has it in their heart to donate anything to help us out. I promise to always pay if forward.....to the next person.

We are just regular people, trying to make it through life. Thinking we would do right by purchasing our first home.....had only caused us financial woes.

I am in the process of developing a new site that will allow people to register a coin for their cause, and then they will be able to track their coin and it's where-abouts online. Think "Where's George Meets Pay It Forward".

When a user registers a cause, they they pass the coin to someone else. That coin has a unique registration # on it, that the next user can use the # and record their where-abouts and their good deed.

I have been in some form of debt since I was 18, and it has grown over the last 6 years. I am now in a combined debt of over $50,000 resulting from failed ventures, purchasing faulty cars and medical bills for my teeth, hips and back.

I have now also lost my job, as my situation is starting to effect my life in a large way, mostly from being depressed and distracted in day to day tasks. I am working on securing a new job, but this is proving difficult, and I have tried to obtain help from the government to no avail so far.

The bills are quickly piling up, and rent is due at the end of the month. My bills currently stand overdue at over $1600 right now. Luckily my room mate can cover my rent for this month, but that is not going to help me next month. I am doing everything I can to get a job and earn money for myself, but I feel that I have to give this a shot.

I don't expect much, but anything will be an amazing help. I would also like to donate a share of any donations (1/4 of amount) to a charity, specifically one that helps depression as it hits close to home, as a way to thank you for your kindness and in order to share any assistance provided to me with others that need a hand.

Hi, I am a former musical director who lost his full-time job due to younger generation moving in to replace me. I am 55 years old, in good shape and currently enrolled and have done very well in Voice Acting/Multi-Media/Film classes which are very expensive trade school type intense studies.

I am about half-way through the courses I need to launch my new career as a Multi-Media voice/music/acting/film/producer/director/advertiser. This will entail building a home studio, installing equipment and website/marketing costs. I am also playing in two bands and teaching guitar lessons trying to make up the lost income.

My motivation to ask for help financially is due to my hearing aids which are now very outdated. My right hearing aid has been repaired several times and no longer functions properly, I cannot use it to hear conversation. My left aid works but doesn't have the power I need to listen in class and hear what I need to excel. I use an outboard listening device right now but it is horrible quality. I am essentially rendered partially deaf because I cannot afford new hearing aids.

Our personal debt has been managed by my Wife's job but we cannot afford anymore credit card debt. What we bring in pays the bills, there's no more room for new hearing aids which cost $6500.00 for the quality I need. The top of the line aids are needed because of my new career, voice acting in a quiet studio, teaching guitar, live music performance, front of camera work. Contacting clients by phone and computer. All require a wide range of hearing.

My eyesight is now deteriorated where reading glasses don't handle my needs. I need either contacts or Lasik to go from reading copy, to front of camera to intense computer work.

Seems like a lot but every penny helps and that would launch me into a great new career and take the pressure off my hard-working wife. I am trying to get help in getting a twin bed for my 6 yr old daughter. I was purchasing a bed from a rental company, but cant afford the payments anymore. They will be here friday to get the bed. I have already called my local Salvation Army, and other recources, but they dont have any. I even posted on craigslist that I am looking for a bed. I dont want my little girl to go without a bed. Please, I dont know if anyone is willing to make a monetary donation, or just donate a bed. Either would be great. And I cant repay right now, but I can guarantee I can repay any help.
