To little time to save and now my heat pump went out too.

I have a job, but after our families health insurance is taken out I only bring home $78 every two weeks. I know your thinking cancel it. You can only cancel once a year or of course you lose it if you leave this job. I don't want to leave this job.
Why is it so special, I work with special needs students. It's a very intense job, ages range from 14 -22 years of age. It takes a lot of patience and tolerance for the unexpected to happen. I have what it takes to do this job. Except money. I'm a teachers assistant. I trying to go to school to get a degree. I can't handle over two classes a semester. I have medical issues too, I'm to afraid to cancel my insurance due to the fact I have to go to the doctor and have regular check ups. We do not qualify for aid.

My marriage is not in the best of health either. I need help to save my home, maybe my marriage and my job. This is not easy for me. I'm just very scared, maybe someone will understand what I'm saying, I want to keep what I have, it's not much, I want to continue working in the job I have, I know it isn't going to pay my bills, but if I can get caught up I can still be there for those special kids. Finally, if the strain of being on the verge of losing our house is gone maybe I can heal my marriage. I don't want to throw away 30 years of my life.

We found out yesterday that our heat pump has gone out and needs to be replaced. I know air conditioning is a luxury but here in Florida it is almost a necessity. Especially if you have health problems.

And if you can't do anything for me, just pray for us, God bless, hopefully

I am a former teacher and recovering addict. I have 18 years clean and sober. I lost my teaching position paying 24.62 an hour Oct.2010 and have been trying to catch up ever since. My father left me a house and I took out a mortgage in 2005. My payments went from 700 a month to 1700. I was skipping a month and paying 3400. It cost me my marriage and my peace of mind. It was embarrasing and overwhelming. I now make 10.055 an hour. I turned in one car (volunteer repo) and now drive an 04 minivan. My power steering pump went out and the driver window is inoperable. I pay my van payment and repo payment monthly.I also pay child support for my 11yr old. I keep her regularly every two weeks and sometimes have nothing but conversation for her. I get no tax return because her mother claims her. I am also a disabled vet. I am in a bind and I can't borrow from my bank. I just need a little help and a push. I don't give up because I can't.

DIABETIC IN NEED OF CASH FOR TREATMENT

Posted by alexkiaboy on 2012-04-22 14:58:17

Hello,
I am a Type 1 diabetic. I have been diabetic for several years now, but I have struggled to cope with the condition. I am not in a good place, but my doctor has told me that by getting an insulin pump, I will be able to handle my condition better and I will be less ill. I need £3000 to buy the pump. If anyone is generous enough, that would be great. This will change my life. I hope that finally my luck in this world will change.
Thanks

Please help me LIVE a little bit longer.

Thank You so very much for your help. Heres my story. I am in my early 30s. I am a mother of two loving kids ages 4 and 9. My husband moved out a year ago after a bout of depression, stating "I love you thats why I cant stand to stay here n watch you die like this!" And it is true anyone who has watched a loved one waste away before thier eyes can tell you it eats your soul. In a way I cant blame him. I have hopes we will someday get our family back together. Untill then I am in this alone, and now find my self here asking you for help.
I have several cronic illnesses. Including scoliosis:Scoliosis is a sideways curvature of the spine that occurs most often during the growth spurt just before puberty. While scoliosis can be caused by conditions such as cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy, the cause of most scoliosis is unknown. My scoliosis curve got worse, the spine rotated and twisted, in addition to curving side to side. This caused the ribs on one side of the body to stick out farther than on the other side. Severe scoliosis can caused back pain and difficulty breathing. In my case In severe scoliosis, the rib cage may press against the lungs and heart, making it more difficult to breathe and harder for the heart to pump.I also experience harsh neurological affects of Muscle weakness, Numbness and Abnormal reflexes. To save my life I had to have surgery.
Surgery involves correcting the curve (although not all the way) and fusing the bones in the curve together. The surgeon lays bone grafts across the exposed surface of each vertebra. These grafts will regenerate, grow into the bone, and fuse the vertebrae together. The bones are held in place with one or two metal rods held down with hooks and screws, helping to support the fusion of the vertebrae.I went through all this at age 13. But now with the onset of sevral more cronic illness complication from the surgery that once saved my life now slowly kill me.
Years later I began getting sicker and sicker by the time I was 20 my spine was degenerating causing horrible pain, I had to have my appendix removed, then gallblader went bad. We never dreamed these all had a common factor. Doctors just shook their head proclaiming :you are just so young for your body to be failing like this". Eventually it was discovered I have Lupus and severe arthritus. Lupus is an autoimmune disease, meaning that the body' s immune system mistakenly attacks healthy organs and tissue. Lupus can affect any part of the body, causing inflammation and damage in joints, skin, kidneys, heart, lungs, blood vessels, or the brain. More than 90% of people with lupus have skin rashes, often triggered by exposure to the sun, and about half have kidney and lung problems. Because lupus affects the joints, it is considered a rheumatic (arthritis) disease.
Upon this discovery things began to make sense. So doctors now knowing why began a body wide check up to see what all has been affected. One test was A bone mineral density (BMD) test measures how much calcium and other types of minerals are present in a section of your bone. Your health care provider uses this test, along with other risk factors, to predict your risk of bone fractures in the future and detect osteoporosis. Bone fracture risk is highest in people with osteoporosis. They found I indeed had osteoporosis at the age of 22. SO now My bones are weaking causing damage areas all over my body, but the most serious being in my spine. Now comes the arthritis/lupus, they see these damaged areas and my own imune system attacks. Eating at the damaged areas creating even more damage, which increases the area the lupus attacks. It is a vicious circle. I have now been treated with medication over 10 yrs. But they can only slow the illness there is no cure, and dure to my scoliosis and the metal rods in my back surgical treatment options are very limited.
The damage is so severe I was decared legally disabled by the age of 23. My only income is SSI. I have to support my children and I on 658.00 a month. Thank God the court issued my ex to pay my rent in lue of child support. I am asking for help to cover upcoming medical bills. In the last 14 months I have had 5 seperate kidney surgery. My right kidney is damaged and I will soon be having a 6th surgery. This one to remove damaged section of the tube that leads from the kidney to bladder. then they will reattach at a higher section of bladder. I will aslo be having several Jaw surgeries. Due to exposure to radiation, osteoperosis a excessive vomiting of stomache acid my teeth are breaking and falling out. The doctor needs to repair what they can and put in inplants for what they cant. This will slow the degineration of my jaw. Without this treatment my jaw is going to cave in. Currently I am only able to eat mushy foods. I have drastically lost weight and my body is stuggling to heal due to the stress, pain and infection. So I hunbly beg of you to help me 1.00 or 50.00 anything would help. These procedures will not only improve my quality of life but aslo help extend my time here on earth just a little ehile longer. I just want to be with my kids as long as I can.Whith each dollar you donate its like adding an hour to my life.....What would you give for a few more hours with the ones you love?

Please help me LIVE a little bit longer.

In need of Insulin

Posted by pbnj2006 on 2012-04-03 12:58:17

Hello My name is Philip McIntire and we are needing help getting insulin and medication for my wife to keep her alive. My wife is a type 1 diabetic on an insulin pump that she has had for 10 yrs. We only have a months supply of insulin left and it is required for my wife to live. I have a full time job, but it does not provide any type of insurance at all. We are living from paycheck to paycheck and when we have to go to the doctor, we have to decide which bills will not get paid that month. Each bottle cost about $120 a piece and it requires a prescription to get it. Each doctors visit is at least $70 just for the visit. Then the insulin alone is almost $500 a month for her to survive. I really love my wife and I want her to live as long as she can. This is a last ditch effort as the other assistance programs have failed due to me having a job. It you can help in anyway possible please email me at philipjmcintire@gmail.com. Thank you in advance for your help!

Beglist, after much pursuing and determination I have finally found a good job. It is with a government company, and as such, I do not get paid until the 15th of the month. I have maxed out my cards to pay for gas to get to work, I just need maybe $10-$20 to help me until payday. I have NO money, if I spend anything at the pump I'll start getting charged fees for not maintaining a minimum balance. I just need a LITTLE bit to help me get by!

Posted by williams2009 on 2012-03-05 22:58:06

My story is different, I make money to pay my bills, and I'm not behind on anything. My problems I make enought to pay my bills but nothing to save. The reason I'm looking for help is because I had to have my tubes tied because I was told I could not have babies do to my sudden heart condition (Cardiomyopathy) They told me I would never be better for the rest of my life and its rare if I even got 45% normal heart. Well its been 9 years later and just taking care of my self and I show no signs of every having a heart condition. Being its makes me upset that I had my tubes tied when I didnt have to...Why were tubes tides they thought pressure having baby make my heart pump faster and kill me and birth control same didnt know how it would effect my heart. Well I have thought love and hard about it and I'm married now for five years and I really want to have a child and its going to cost me $6000,00 to have a child. I'm really looking for help to get to my goal to have this baby..I have have a doctor and my medical records review. If there is anybody that could help me I would be forever thankful.

Overwhelmed with flood damages and the repair expenses

After being away since 1997, I've come back to care for my disabled mother. I myself have degenerative bone and disc disease of the spine. Making it impossible for me to do any of the labor. The building use to be a bar with an apartment upstairs. Due to her disabilities, she lives on the bar level. Years ago they had a porch added, which is partially cantilevered improperly. Someone installed a shower on the bar level, in the process, they cut a main beam rather than get a longer piece of pipe. I'm not able to find out when the unit was installed, but it was long enough ago that now the bar level bathrooms(yes, both mens and ladies rooms are still in there), and the apartment floors are all sloped. If memory serves me, lolly columns should stop/possibly reverse this.
The well is working when it wants to, the water runs, then shuts itself off, anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes later, it comes back on. The furnace had a burned out blower part which I'm paying the bill off, leaving less than $75 cash after covering the expenses of this building each month. And the plumber said it would be close to $200 just to start fixing the well issue. Not even knowing if it is the pump or not.
The weather here is too much for my body without access to hot water therapy. I don't know how long it will be before I can no longer handle the pain in these temps. I am rather desperate for any help at all. I'm 46, single, and have no one to help me without paying hefty fee's. This building is in dire need of repairs. If anyone could please find it in their heart to help two women that have no one to lend a hand...PLEASE HELP?
Thank you for reading and have an outstanding day!

Life is hard and I pray alot and blessings do come so I know god is listening....hopefully a heart happens to pass his or her eyes over this posting, I dont care right now about me I care about the boys....I know if something happens to me it affects them but i have to ignore my health problems for now what can I do....someone please help...pray for my family...we are good people and we are one of many needing help...I wish someone could help us all.......

A Desperate Plea for Help!

Posted by hopefulhoney on 2011-07-17 13:58:27

Hi
Would someone please be kind enough to help me out of my nightmare situation? Im a 29 year old single woman, and my situation is going from bad to worse, I literally dont have a penny to my name! Im trying to better myself by enrolling on a college course that starts in September, so I can try and bring in an extra wage, and to get on it I had to pay a deposit, which has set me way back, as I live from paycheck to paycheck as it is. Im a dental nurse and had to pay a registration of 120 pounds this month too, just to be able to do my job! My car is slowly falling to bits, it needs a new water pump which I cant afford and Im scared its going to over heat and seize the engine. I have hardly any diesel left to get to work and back, my work is 20 miles away. Im on the last few pounds of emergency credit of my electric, and my food cupboards are empty. To top it off Ive had a couple of direct debits returned because there's no money in my account to cover them, so the bank will charge me everyday that I dont pay them, which means Im going to be in a worse situation next month! With rent and bills to pay and only my wage to pay them, Im really finding it a struggle. I have no one else to ask, this really is my last resort, I just dont know what I am going to do over the next few weeks. Ive never recieved benefits or any help before, so Im hoping someone will come to my rescue in my time of need. Any donations, big or small, will be kindly welcomed. Thankyou in advance.

Veteran in Need

Posted by LesT on 2011-05-31 10:58:34

I am a disabled veteran currently wading through the countless pieces of paperwork and playing the wait and see game. When I first applied for my claim it was said to take 90-120 days. When that time elapsed I was told six (6) months. After six (6) months I was told another 12-18 months.

I haven't been able to work for 18 months. My savings are gone. My truck blew up. Worse yet, my water pump burned up and I have no running water. My heat/ac unit caught fire over the winter,...thus no air conditioning now that the heat is on.

This is real. I am making nothing up. I really need some help while awaiting the outcome of my V.A. disability claim. There are no real veterans groups out there that give help. Most, if not all want; donations and won't even answer email or voicemail.

If there is truly one human being out there with the love of God in their heart, please help me.

So Hot Pls Help

Help us start an orphanage in Hati for HIV+ Children

Posted by lindabaker on 2011-04-04 18:58:07

My friend and I have been volunteering in Haiti for many years but always with others establised organizations. Her dream has been to open a home/orphange for HIV + or AIDS children. It will be small only 7 kids so it will have the feel of a home. Well we are very excited that the dream is now a reality. As of last week we have found the perfect house to make a home in Leogane, Haiti. We have already put down a holding payment of $2,000., but we still need to raise an additional $10,000 to pay the first yrs rent. Unfortunately in Haiti you have to pay for the entire year in advance. We have a blog and a website. Some donations are coming in slowly, but we arent even close to what we need by the begining of May. Not only do we have to come up with the rent money, but we need to obtain all the things nessecary to fill this empty house. Its alot of stuff. Just look around wherever you are sitting now and thats probably only a small fraction of the same stuff we will need. We also need to get a generator, inverter and batteries just to keep the lights on. We also need to get a water filtration system and pump to make the well in the backyard work!!! Thanks for your help. We promise to give back to the community.
