In Urgent Medical-Related Debt, Need Work!

Posted by SoftSpoken on 2012-05-06 17:58:03

Good Evening,

My name is Matt and I live in the west suburbs of Chicago. I am currently unemployed and finding it difficult to find even the most basic, menial job in this economy. While I have no felony convictions or anything that would bar employment, I am forced to rely on public transportation to get around at this time.

I am a recovering addict and I have been on methadone treatment for almost 5 years. I am on a low dose and I am having difficulty paying for my medication. I would like to be able to go to the clinic once a week instead of 5 times a week. This is hurting my ability to find work because I spend 3-4 hours on the bus going to the clinic.

I have a proven success rate in my sobriety and I just want to chip away at this awful bill hanging over my head. If I cannot pay for my medication I don't know what I will do. I can be reached at mmroch78@gmail.com. I can supply resumes as well to serious inquiries.

I have worked in call centers and related fields for the last 10 years, and I am warm, energetic customer service professional. I'd make an excellent ambassador for your company or small business, whichever it may be...

Both my father and I have been having very tough times, I am bi-polar but haven't had issues of any kind in quite a while. I just don't know what to do, my own parents are having money problems, and I don't have anywhere else to turn. I ask in the sincerest manner possible for any help you can provide: Pace bus cards (the monthly ones for 60$ are lifesavers), maybe 200-300$ towards my medication. I do have some things of value, mainly electronics that I can sell. Please contact me ASAP.

Thank you in this embarrassing time of need.

Kindest Regards,

Matt (5/6/12)

19 Year Old Abuse Survivor Down On His Luck

Posted by stromboli_johnson on 2012-03-29 20:58:22

Hello BegsList. My name is Chris. I'm 19 years of age, and I live in Philadelphia. At the age of 18, I escaped an abusive household to enter the adult world. I am afflicted with autism and severe ADHD. I don't let those setbacks get to me though- I'm enterprising and constantly looking for employment. I finally had a good place- I found a well-paying position at Walgreens, and they transferred me into the Philadelphia market. Not three months after arriving, I was unexpectedly laid off. Due to some funky requirements in the rules, I was not able to draw unemployment. I have been diligently hunting for jobs ever since that fateful day, but unfortunately my efforts have proven fruitless. I have volunteered most of my time to a small non-profit when I'm not job searching. We're a small interfaith group that hits the streets with a message of love and peace for all, along with participating in several community service projects and education programs. We are currently experiencing a whole host of financial hardships as a whole. My beg is two pronged: On one hand, I am three months behind on my rent and on the verge of eviction. On the other hand, I am devoted to making my community better and making people a little happier through the non-profit. This is a last resort for me, as I've exhausted all other channels. Please help me out. Someone's gotta be out there. I thank you for taking the time to read this.

-Chris

Welcome
MY GUARDIAN ANGEL INCOME SYSTEM

As seen on Oprah !!!

$50K in your PayPal Account!

That's Right - $50,000 in your PayPal account and that's NO JOKE!!

IT WAS PROVEN ON OPRAH, CNN, 20/20 and various highly respected U.S. TV and radio programs as being 100% legal, feasible and true!

For the price of 2 $5 Subway Foot-Longs You Can Help Someone and Change Your Life! It works QUICKLY and LEGALLY. Basically, this is all about PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE
"THE GUARDIAN SYSTEM" $10 USD -- That's all it takes!

I'll try to keep this short and sweet. Do it once and you're done.

To get started just copy this whole page and paste it to your documents to edit it. Simply follow the instructions below and in 2 to 4 weeks, you could have as much as $50,000 in your PayPal account or even more.

Most people respond to this program because of the low investment ($10USD) and high profit potential. There is no limit to the income you can generate from this (you can just do it over and over!) If you follow the instructions, you will reach thousands of people! HONESTY, FAITH AND INTEGRITY makes this system work!

I think everyone has heard of "PayPal"? Anyone with an e-mail address can join for FREE! If you're not already a PayPal user, the first thing you need to do is go to PayPal.com and sign up

Here's how it works:

Step 1:

Send a $5.00 US dollar donation from your PayPal account to THE FIRST e-mail address on the list (No. 1) by using the PayPal 'Send Money' feature and be sure to include in the email "Payment for Internet Marketing". THIS KEEPS THE PROGRAM LEGAL.

Step 2:

Then send another $5.00 US dollar payment to the 5th person on the list (No. 5) with an email that says "Payment for Internet Marketing 5th".

Step 3: Once you have done that, REMOVE the 1st email address and place YOUR email address at the bottom (position no. 5). Then move the 2nd to 1st, the 3rd to 2nd, the 4th to 3rd, and 5th to 4th. You now become the 5th email address on the list.

DO NOT TRY TO PLACE YOURSELF IN THE FIRST PLACE. IT WILL ONLY REACH THE PEOPLE YOU SEND IT TO AND THEN YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE LIST. If you do this, the way it was designed, it will reach thousands by the time your email address gets to the top.

REMEMBER to send a $5 US dollar donation to the 1st email address and the message "PAYMENT FOR INTERNET MARKETING". Send the other $5 US dollar donation to the 5th person and an email with the words "PAYMENT FOR INTERNET MARKETING 5TH". This will help the 5th person to track the progress of the letter and continue to send out more emails.

Here is the list:

1. robjessop@yahoo.co.uk
2. michaelhanus@aol.com.au
3. drewrob1@bigpond.com.au
4. imcommissionsecrets@gmail.com
5. willdavis82@live.com

Make sure your email address is the same as the one you used to open your PayPal Account! (as this is the way you will receive your payments).

Now that you have paid the 1st and 5th person and sent them both an email (via your PayPal account), place your email address in the 5th place.

Step 4

Okay, the only thing left to do is to POST YOUR LETTER. You can post on craiglist.com, ListJoe.com, Theleadmagnet.com, FreeSafeListMailer.com, DesktopLightning.com, ViralMailProfits.com , ListBonus.com ,Adchiever.com ,State-the-art-mailer.com , message boards and newsgroups (there are thousands). You can even send an email to your own list.

IT IS YOUR JOB AS THE 5TH PERSON ON THE LIST TO ENSURE THERE ARE AT LEAST 20 'PAYMENT FOR INTERNET MARKETING 5TH' REPLIES.

The 5th person is the Guardian of the System - YOU!!!

If there are NOT at least 20 replies then the 5th person will keep sending/posting the letter until there are at least 20.

MAKE SURE YOU SEND $5.00 US DOLLARS TO THE 1ST PERSON TO THANK THEM FOR WHEN THEY WERE THE GUARDIAN OF THE LETTER AND $5.00 TO THE 5TH PERSON SO MORE EMAILS CONTINUE TO GO OUT.

Now the fun begins. We reap what we sow - other people will see your posting and do the exact same thing. As you wait through the 4th, 3rd and 2nd slots for your work as Guardian to pay off, hundreds even thousands of others will be assuming the role of Guardian and keep the program moving.

Once you have arrived at the 1st position, it means hundreds and maybe thousands have been working the program since you started. All of those people will then pay you as the 1st and you won't believe the kind of money that has been generated. Seriously, its common sense - you do it and 25 or more people see and do the exact same thing and EVERYONE wins!!! You will receive thanks and the same blessings! When your name (email address) reaches the 1st slot, 900 to 15,000 people will send you $5.00 dollars each. You could easily make up to $50,000 USD.

Keep in mind - the most you spend is $10 dollars.

Remember -- what goes around comes around. DO NOT TRY TO PUT YOURSELF IN FIFTH PLACE WITHOUT PAYING AS PAYPAL WILL AUTOMATICALLY NOTICE THIS AND DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT AND POSSIBLY PURSUE LEGAL ACTION. THIS IS A LEGITIMATE PROGRAM AND THEY ARE PART OF IT.

TESTIMONIALS:
Mary Gatters, Columbia, SC
said on Oprah show: I only have one thing to say to you. OH MY GOD! I sent out 142 copies in total before 20 replied like the instructions said. Then I went on a short vacation. When I got back my account had over $32,000 dollars in it already and the money was still coming! I'm still floating on air (especially with my new car). I thought the "Guardian System" sounded cheesy, but now I realize it is the formula that makes this letter really work! THANKS.

Richard Barrie, Boulder, CO:
I was shocked when I saw how much money came flooding into my PayPal account. Within 3 weeks my account balance has ballooned to $22,449. At first I thought there had been some sort of error with my account.

HERE ARE THE STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS AGAIN:

Step 1: Set up your PayPal Account (if you don't already have one), and send the top name (1st person) $5.00 US dollars - Don't forget to include "PAYMENT FOR INTERNET MARKETING". This is IMPORTANT as it keeps the program legal.

Step 2: Send the other $5.00 US dollars and a note stating "PAYMENT FOR INTERNET MARKETING 5TH" to the 5th name on the list.

Step 3: Remove the top name (email address) and move the other 4 names up one place each. Place YOUR name in the bottom slot (5th) and you will receive a minimum of $100 dollars for your efforts.

Step 4: Keep sending/posting this letter until you get 20 'PAYMENT FOR INTERNET MARKETING 5TH' replies in your In-box.

Please give it an honest effort, you will not be disappointed and will be very glad you did when it starts to work. Be creative. Remember, all you're going to be out of pocket is about the cost of a couple of coffees with the opportunity of banking thousands of dollars into your PayPal account! Take the smallest risk of your life!!!

>>The Guardian system is based on HONEST people helping each other out. This program is completely legal if you follow the step by step instructions. It's the same concept of building a downline except more profitable and affordable. It's like the movie. "Paying It Forward", where we all give someone else just five dollars. Make BIG money in an HONEST way!

Hi.

Thanks for taking the time to read my request. I'm 30 years old, still in college and living with my parents. I've made a lot of great accomplishments in my life with far less support than most people who make it this far. Of course, with that said I've also made plenty of mistakes.

I grew up with a single parent, and another parent who visited annually just to stir up emotions and make my life miserable. When I was 18, I decided to work really hard to lose weight so that I could join the US Air Force. I had a strict plan that I was going to follow to succeed in life.

Unfortunately my superiors in the USAF would not accommodate that plan to independence as they forced me to find my own way from the barracks to work (a 40 mi drive), so I had to immediately struggle to get my drivers licence and I had to buy a car on an Airman's paygrade.

My income wasn't enough to afford the car and gas and other living needs that I was expected to pay, so eventually I had to leave the Air Force before my term was up (under honorable conditions). I tried to work as a civilian. The transfer was tough and I was vastly uninformed about what to do and what my options were. I'm the first first generation college student of my extended family.

After some petty jobs that would each take more than 10 years to be able to earn enough to live independently, I finally found a nice nighttime custodian job that was at least simple enough for that kind of pay. I was the night time custodian, but I was also a guy to have on call at this retirement home where I worked. If people's toilets flooded or a nearly deaf resident left their tv on past quiet hours (once I could hear one through 3 floors!) I was the guy to send up to fix it.

Having my first satisfying job as a civilian, I was able to investigate community college during the day, so eventually I enrolled and tried taking a few classes while working full-time. College was my saving grace. I never felt like I belonged anywhere until I first started to take college courses in math, science, and philosophy. I found the tutoring lounge on campus, made a lot of friends there, and I spent many hours cramming and helping those in need.

This soon led to me finding financial aid, making arrangements with my parents (my mom and my stepfather) to let me go to school full-time while I lived with them, and putting in my 2 weeks notice at work to focus exclusively on school.

My counselors advised that I pick where I want to transfer to and then figure out the details of how to get there after I got accepted. I think this was bad advice. While I ended up choosing to transfer to a university that had my desired major, Biophysics, it was 60 miles away from where my parents lived. My car that I had bought when I was in the Air Force also eventually broke down from not being able to afford maintenance while I worked, and was towed away for being in the public street for too long.

Finally, I got accepted to UC San Diego to work towards a degree in Physics with a specialty in Biophysics. When it came time to transfer, I got as involved as I could on how and when I was supposed to receive the financial aid so that I could go get an apartment and everything, and my school kept telling me, "you should get it tomorrow" until about 2 weeks into my first quarter when I finally got the support.

Despite this rocky start, I managed to get into a good shape for myself, making my way slowly but surely through school. Learning a great deal. Eventually when I felt the struggle was too difficult, I changed my major to Neuroscience before I began my upper division coursework.

So, as I settled into my schooling and struggled with maintaining financial independence on financial aid, I managed to get myself into maintaining a great aquarium hobby, owned two great little kittens from a street cat program, led as president of a student organization for one year, and eventually I got married. I also carefully learned about the stock market and managed to make some great gains with money that I had invested from financial aid savings.

In 2010, my gains were over 100%. That amounted to $2000 doubling itself, but still, that says a lot about me as a trader. However, 6 months into my marriage, she said she wanted out, grabbed the car that we both paid into (most of the money was mine from stocks; $5500 worth), and refused to pay her share of 2 months rent. That happened in December of the year of 2010.

2011 was a difficult year for me. I fought hard to maintain things, especially my head, but it was tough. I lost 45 lbs from exercising regularly, made lots of new friends, and I got some volunteer work experience in a Neuroscience lab. But I just couldn't focus well enough to maintain my finances and my grades, so I had to drop out and live back with my parents.

Despite how tough it's been, not finding work, struggling with the ins and outs of the VA, and just needing a professional therapist to talk to and help me keep my head straight but never being able to get one, I've managed to recuperate well enough and learn a lot more about this bottom floor of society that I've been so desperately trying to escape my whole life.

I've gone looking for opportunity in every direction. I've tried changing my career goals, collecting recyclables, writing online, trying any online scheme that didn't include me forking out money to get it, imagining what I could write as a novel, tried to make money through playing video games, making goal after goal after goal for myself, but still just not being able to get just the right amount of money to put me back on my feet.

I'll be going back to school in April at the risk of having to do it as a homeless person if the VA doesn't pull through for me. They recently approved my 10% service connected disability status and now I need to jump over a few more hurdles to get my more significant service connected disabilities recognized. I'm also seeing what the vocational rehab people can do for me despite the bureaucratic issues that are stopping them from helping me all the way.

BTW, this whole time that I've gone through life with common lower class difficulties, I've been disabled with a number of small conditions that all add up to a hard time. I have lower back issues that the military has yet to own up to. Community college found also that I have a learning disability which makes some intellectual tasks show up as lower than average ability for me while the rest of my intellect is high enough to expect that I could easily get a Masters Degree or a PhD. My biggest difficulty in school is that they don't give me enough time to show them what I know or what I'm capable of.

From working with special needs students as a tutor, I have proven to myself that there is a major problem in the education system. Most teachers never simplify the material into a clear picture of what they want to teach. If you want someone to learn something, the last thing you should be fuzzy on is what it is exactly that you want them to learn. We can't all work like intuitive Jedi or sophisticated parrots.

If you help me out, here is a list of the priorities of what your money will go towards, in order of their priority If you would like to request that I spend your donation on a specific cause, please let me know:

1. A working cheap economic vehicle.
I need something that I can sleep in and that will take me wherever I need to go. Preferably something that can stow quite a few recyclables as well to pay for gas, but not an SUV or truck or van (Unless that's all that is cheap of course. Not likely but you never know.).
I'll aim for great gas mileage, but I'm thinking that I should attend some police car auctions to see what the cheapest deal I can find is. This car would make a great shelter for me while I return to my far away school.

2. Investing on the stock market.
Trust me, I know how to fish. If you want to send me a request for proof I'd be glad to compose some evidence of my finest moments as well as my worst to show you that I can do well for myself on the stock market, even during the recession. What I could really use right now, is a little bait. Trading is good money for me, but to make enough to make gains worth more than the commission cost (about $10), you need about $300-1000 per investment. $300 is more for the high risk lottery plays on the market. I even made a blog about it if you would like to see:
http://www.squidoo.com/TheYoungidealistEconomyBlog
If you are willing, we can arrange something personal so that you wont need to worry about me putting the money you offer at high risk and blow it all. Might even be able to arrange something where I could make money for you to prove myself before accepting your donation. Whatever the case, I know we'd have to make it a personal arrangement to satisfy the current laws.

3. Working towards paying my debts to my friends.
My friends have been really supportive through these hard times, though they are starving students themselves. To keep up my morale they've bought me food, given me a place to crash when they could, and even paid to have me join them at fun local events. I have some money that I've promised them back, and I plan on making due on those promises as soon as possible.

4. Paying off my debts with companies.
I've had times where I couldn't afford to pay for rent and had to leave, like when my wife left me to live with her parents. These issues follow me on my credit score and I would like to work towards removing them so that I can turn my life around.

5. Getting a good start towards paying off my student loans.
I know I won't be able to pay them off before I find a good career with my degree. I would just like to have something to start making some automatic payments with and put that part of my bad credit score behind me as well.

6. Buying a home.
My mom never owned a home. No offense meant to land lords out there, but I really think the rental system is way out of line. My mom was always a hard worker. Way better than me, yet she could never own a home because she didn't have the money. Meanwhile, people with money could live in great big houses for less than she even had to pay.
I want a house to own. Probably start with a condo and seek ways to improve it and flip a profit out of it. Then I want to keep building up money from housing until I can manage to build an apartment building.
If I could, I'd like to make an apartment building near a university that offers cheap housing using the Japanese capsule model or something even more economic and more comfortable.

7. Making an online tutoring site meant to offer free tutoring and tutoring for tips. Imagine a site (I have yet to know of one) where people can collect their resources on a class, much like they collect info on ratemyprofessor.com, but also seek help from others who are taking the class or who have taken the class. Donors like you can offer money to tutors who post their notes and stories on the site, alongside ratings from other students that they helped.
Some tutors can offer their rates for help, sell their notes online for cheap, or just offer their help whenever they can and ask to be tipped through paypal if someone likes their work. My hope is that such a site could help to put an end to sophistry in the college system once and for all, making education easy and affordable for everyone.

8. After I have everything I'm hoping for above, the sky is the limit. But I would prefer to put the extra money that I don't need to good uses. I would spread a little philanthropy around, give to others in need on this site and through other resources.
I'd also look to teach others how to fish. I think a great way for the economy to be fixed would be if philanthropists made some really good employee owned companies. Make the place pay for itself, skim a little off the top, and walk away knowing that you really were a job creator.
I think that everyone who is capable of work and who chooses to work deserves to have their own independent living situation. I know that we are a long way from that, but I tend to be an optimist. I would like to try and make the world a better place, if nothing else.

Aside form financial help, I'm interested in anything else that I could get that's useful. Advice, Neuroscience Career connections, work, hobby or volunteer work that can easily become lucrative, I'm really all ears. Thanks again for taking the time to read my request. I hope you find it in you to help me out, even get to know me if you'd like. Bet you $5000 I can make you laugh. Did I win? >;) it was worth a try anyway.

To Whoever is willing and able to help:

Hello. My name is Keith Wolfe. I realize that you may not know me personally and are probably wondering why I'm asking for help from anybody and everybody. Please, let me explain… I feel that help (of any kind) can be given to and received by anybody (even to/from total strangers) as long as the need is truly legit (which my need is). I actually consider myself to be a walking, talking, breathing charity case. Will you please consider giving to charity (me) today? To learn more about my situation, please continue reading…
I am currently unemployed, looking for work, and have been struggling to get by financially for some time now. My bank account is overdrawn by a considerable amount, I currently don't have any money to pay my rent in the amount of $870.00 for the month of March, 2012, nor can I afford to buy food to eat (and my cupboards are getting pretty barren right now). Also, my vehicle is in much need of some basic maintenance and a tune up, which I can't afford right now, either.
Like I mentioned above, my bank account is overdrawn and more fees continue to apply, and I'm at the point where my bills and rent are impossible for me to pay without your generous financial help. With your help, I can begin to climb out of financial hole I'm in. I am basically at the bottom of life's barrel and at the moment I can’t even see the light at the end of the tunnel. I will probably be out on the street with no place to live very soon unless something drastically improves, a miracle happens, or somebody makes a generous (sizable) donation/contribution.
The recovery of my higher financial standards and the freedom from debt, overdraft fees and other related stresses has proven to be impossible on my own recently. Things have just been spiraling downward for me and not improving for long enough now and I'm nearly at my breaking point and don't know what else to do other than ask for help. With your help, though, I'm hoping to get financially ahead and stay there. (And, I'd be thrilled to eventually and hopefully be able to help somebody else in need in the future once I'm out of the current mess I'm in.)
So, if I could possibly get any financial help from anybody in whatever $$$ amount, it is truly needed right now and would be much appreciated. And, as much as I dislike having to ask and beg for help, I am desperate at the moment and feel that I need to.

If you feel uncomfortable using PayPal, please contact me (via either of the above E-Mail addresses) and we can discuss other possible options.
Again, anything you could possibly give/donate/loan ($$$) would be much appreciated. And, I also ask that you remember to keep my situation in your thoughts and prayers even if you're not able or willing to send money.
Thank-You soooo much (for whatever you are able to provide ~ money, thoughts, prayers, suggestions, and/or advise of any kind).

Peace be with you, and God bless!!!

Sincerely,

Keith Wolfe

P.S. - Thanks so much to the couple of people who have helped me so far. But, much more help is still needed and would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

K.W.
Hello everyone,

I have been suffering from a recurrent depressive disorder for about four years - with no hope for recovery by means of the conventional medicine. I know a trustful and proven healer who can - and almost certainly WILL - bring me health (and there are many non-medical reasons why I'd like to contact him regardless of anything). Although he expects a rather symbolic fee, I can't afford his help as I'm unable to take up a job (despite of that I have no legal right to receive any kind of social support, what is extremely humiliating for me - I'm tightly tied to my family and this situation resembles an incapacitation).

That's why I would like to ask for a relatively SMALL and ONE-TIME financial help from anyone that can offer it.

I am not asking for a lot of money or help – just enough to allow me to stay on the road to recovery. [about 300$ just for healing with travel costs included - although this amount should be sufficient, I have absolutely no self-earned money - so no donation is redundant!!!]

This request for a humble donation is my *ONLY* way to stay on the road to recovery and, at least, a partial independence. I have absolutely no things which I could sell.

I am willing and able to provide any proof you may need of my health and financial condition.

I know there are plenty of scam artists out there, but I can prove to you that I am not one of them.

My story is not that of someone that most people would be sympathetic to, but I'm as honest as possible.

NO "AMERICAN DREAMS". NO CRAVINGS. NO PARASITISM. NO FOOLISHNESS. I HAVE BEEN ALWAYS HELPING OTHERS AT MY OWN EXPENSE [AND I FEEL I WAS CREATED TO HELP OTHERS AS WELL], SO I'M GRANTING MYSELF THE RIGHT TO ASK FOR HELP (AND TO GET IT) FROM OTHER PEOPLE AT LEAST *ONCE* IN MY LIFE. THIS IS MY FIRST AND PROBABLY THE LAST ACT OF BEGGING.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

If you have a collage degree, house, bank account, good car, and a career: please help me. I have none of these things. I have no diploma. I had to get help to pay for a GED just recently, wish me luck on the test. I rent a single wide trailer that had mold problems and made my family sick. We are better now. The landlord ripped the shower and floors out and replaced everything. I am afraid of the mold coming back and making us sick again. I’m 26 and have no bank account. I tried to start one but couldn’t keep any money in it, because of how little I made in construction. My car doesn’t go into reverse and slips in first gear sometimes. I have no job because I was laid off three months ago when the job ended. I’ve been looking for jobs and filling out applications around my small city, but no one will call me back.

Let me tell you more about myself. I was two years old when my father was shot and killed in the big city. I grew up on welfare with my mother and grandmother. When I was seven we lost grandma’s house and began to move around a lot. When I was twelve, my grandmother died from being in a moldy house that we were renting. My mother moved to the country with her boyfriend and I followed shortly after. In school I was smart, but moving around everywhere was costly. I lost credit for a lot of hard work simply because the schools were on two different schedules. After living with my mom’s drunken boyfriend and having him beat on her, I dropped out of school to get a job in construction. I was able to make enough for us to rent our own place.

I married my high school sweetheart about a year ago. I had hoped that we would make a wonderful life together, but it’s proven to be very difficult. She did graduate and attend college; however, she did not finish her Bachelors degree. She has a little more than half a semester left, but we ran into some tax problems and she has not been able to go back and finish. Now she owes 6,000 in college dept and I owe thousands in back taxes. She has eyesight problems (coloboma) and can’t drive herself. She works with her mom cleaning houses and babysitting. I dream about being rich and successful, and making all our financial problems go away. I don’t see how that’s going to happen with all of our problems. I want to go to college and get a degree, but I need help getting on my feet. Please help me and my family realize our dreams of financial freedom.

America is one of the most charitable nations on earth, with lots of people that have been financially blessed. I read that there are 7.5 million millionaires in America, and I hope someone reading this is one of them. Please change my life forever with a big donation. I dream of being successful and using my money to help others who need it. I want to make a difference for good in this troubled world, but it’s hard to do when you can’t even help yourself.

Please help me better my life

Please help with some income through PGCE at uni!

Posted by Ineedu on 2012-01-24 15:58:53

I am asking for help as in September I am doing a PGCE in Maths at university. Unfortunately I will not be entitled to a bursary as I received a third in my honours degree and Gove has decided in his wisdom not to fund people with thirds!
I have worked in a secondary school for 4 years covering for absent teachers and have proven myself to be effective in the classroom. I believe teaching is my vocation, I really want to work within the community giving something back. Whilst doing my degree, which was completed through distant learning, so I was completely on my own, I worked full time and raised two children. I have worked really hard to get where I am and have never asked for anyone's help until now! I'm desperate to do it, if I could work during it I would but it is such a time consuming training course I would never have the hours in the day to do it!
I hope you can find it in your heart to help me.

Thank you for listening.

I posted this "beg" shortly after New Years, and have posted under rent yesterday as well as I have found out I will lose our home if I don't pay asap. I am new to this and believe me, far from lazy, just very ill. I would happily repay anyone once I get my ssdi awarded or work off anything on my "good days" when I can move around. I was amazed when I got an email that a woman donated to me, and for that, I am forever grateful. I am just praying more people see this and find it in their hearts to help if they are able to. I just copied the original one and its as follows:

Some background:

I am a mother of three wonderful children. I was married to their father for ten years, unfortunately. as with too many these days, it did not work out. I do not regret our marriage, for it gave me three wonderful children who are all almost grown now. 21, 19, 16. When we were married, we both decided it best for me to stay home with the children and raise them within our family, although this is pretty rare these days. Once we divoced though, I could only find manual type (cashier, inventory, stock, etc) work as I was married straight out of high school and did not try to go back to work until they were all in school. I did not mind working sometimes three different jobs in order to have full time hours yet work around the kids school schedule, son's physical therapy and the usual "Mom" stuff. People kept saying go back to school, but I could not figure out how to work three jobs, be the full time mom and dad and add school. Unfortunately five years ago I started feeling ill, like the flu that never went away. I kept working through it, with my kids being older as much as I knew I needed to be there, I knew I needed to pay the rent/bills too, so I started working split shifts at the grocery store. I'd go in at 6 am until 2pm, come home, be here for after school and dinner, then rush back at six and work until 11 pm. All the while I was getting sicker. I was hospitalized three times during this period. Unfortunately no one seems to want to agree with whats wrong with me, I have heard several diagnosis over the years, but RA is the one and only proven ailment, although they feel I have an overlapping autoimmune disease. I have no insurance right now, and hoping to get the state insurance soon, but I have a feeling treatment is a long ways away.

I did not want to go the ssdi route until I had no other choice. Too bad that's not how the system works. I, for the last three years have been dealing with such pain and illness, a "real job" became out of the question, so I'd work here and there, whenever I could get work and be able to do it, as some days are a little better than others. Believe me, nothing is below me, I'm happy to scrub toilets, clean dog poo, I will do anything legal to make it, most days now though I feel so bad I can't do much .Well, I have finally reached that "I can't do stage", just yesterday my daughter had to get me out of bed as I could not move. Problem is, SSDI takes up to two years to get, which I didn't realize, so now due to my inane pride, I am absolutely stuck. I just know if I can get on top of the important bills, I will be able to continue as I have (fingers crossed) until the SSDI is accepted, which I did finally file for.

More important than anything else, I need to get some food in the house for my son. I truly don't care if I eat, as long as its enough to survive, which believe it or not is very little. However, I want my growing son to be able to eat when he's hungry and have good healthy choices along with the occasional treat. My 19 year old is very self sufficient and has moved into her own apartment and after taking college courses all through high school is on the right track. My 21 year old moved out when she graduated high school and she too finished college and is self sufficient. (she has now moved back in with her daughter) That's why I only mentioned my son. I have plenty of clothes I can donate as he grew so fast, many very nice, and also more than willing to repay any amount, just can't promise when.

Please, any help at all, anything, is greatly appreciated. Food is first and there is a very cheap store nearby where I can grocery shop. Bills are secondary right now, so believe me, every bit helps. Thanks for reading my story and giving your time and any help you may be able to handle.

Student loan nightmare

Posted by S_Pyke on 2012-01-09 21:58:11

I just want to get these things paid off and get on with my life. Find ameaningless job that pays the bills and attempt to live my life out in a dark corner somewhere where nobodoy bothers me any more. i am at my wit's end. 90 calls per month from sallie mae. I can set my sleep and eating schedule by the way they call, once at 8:30 AM, once at 1:30 pm, and once at 7pm. Sometimes more depending on how they are set up, and from how many callcenters they are operating. I am depressed, hopeless, and unemployed. I have been looking through 2 HEARTBREAKING YEARS of unemployment, and my degree is useless and obsolete now. If things continue as they are I'm scheduled to retire about fifteen years after my 115th birthday. I am angry, suicidally depressed, anxious, hopeless, all of that rolled into one big human ball of failed promises, traumatic experiences, abusive relationships and broken dreams. I want to be able to heal. To get back on my feet and limp my way toward recovery, and that's how people can help me. I need to get out of debt. i can't take this anymore. i have a paypal account so please click on it. I would appreciate some help, and any amount will do. I have to get 75,000 of my back and this has proven an impossible task.

dont know what to do :(

Hi, i have never really done anything like this before so here goes. I am 29 years old and have worked in the service industry most of my life as a cook. I have always said i was going to go back to school but i never really found the time since i have always worked 50+ hour weeks. For the last year work prospects have been dismal. You would think that service industry work is plentiful but i have been proven otherwise. Pretty much what brings me here now goes like this :
I had what i thought was a decent amount of money saved up after the restaurant i worked in closed its doors. When i had first started saving this it was originally intended to go into my college fund. After paying rent, car payment, phone bill, food, internet
along with some quality of life expenses i am down to my last 23 dollars. I have already either sold or am in the process of selling anything of value i have in my apartment (funny enough having a hard time doing that too only thing that sold quickly was my xbox 360 and my flat screen). Again, i don't know what to do. I keep doing the right thing. Looking for a job has become my job. I have tried to do everything i can to minimize my spending even down to eating one meal a day and walking to look for work (you would be surprised how after a while walking a few miles is preferable to paying 2.25 for a bus fare). As time is going by my clothing are starting to deteriorate and my shoes are worn on the outer heel of each to the point i can see my socks. I do have another pair of shoes but when you are looking for a job dress shoes i wore once at a wedding and damn near tattered jeans and super faded shirts doesn't sound like a good idea when you're trying to impress a potential employer.
I feel like i am just screwed now. Soon i wont be able to afford my cell phone payments (i need this to keep in touch for job prospects) and i am currently arranging to find somewhere to stay temporarily since i wont be able to afford my apartment anymore (makes me glad i had the forethought to pay a few months rent in advance while i still could). I don't have any family left and my 2 friends in the world and now ex girlfriend are having enough money problems of their own they couldn't help me if they wanted to. I am currently only eligible for foodshare and a reduced payment plan for my electricity. I have tried every state resource that is meant to help out people in my situation but aside from the foodshare and utilities assistance all i found was jaded city workers and disappointment.
Getting to the point i have nowhere else to turn for help aside from charity. I don't have money left and i am freaking out. I ran a laundry list of things that everybody needs and i cant afford simple things anymore like soap, shoes , toothpaste and clothing.
I am planning on getting what i need together and go to college since i don't want to be a cook for the rest of my life but i need some help. Anything that can be thrown towards my expenses so i can keep my head above water until i manage to find a job and pay for my high school transcripts to be translated so i can apply for financial aid and go to school (i am aware that college is not a solution to my situation but i can at least take that time to learn something new that i can apply to hopefully increasing my earning potential). I cant do this if i am homeless.
So please anything can help since its more than i make right now. I am scared and i honestly do not think i will fare well homeless in the streets. I don't want to end up homeless in the dead of winter.
Thank you for taking your time to read this.

Posted by aldebaran84 on 2011-11-01 14:58:58

Here is a little back ground in the first paragraph. My son has been trying to see his kid but his ex wife will let him see his kids. Even so he still pays his child support as it is not the little kids fault. When he worked at a job before he was paying for his own lawyer for family matters and the job was ok pay but he was on the road a lot. He spent money on lawyers but his ex kept breaking the court orders. He gave his ex the benefit of the doubt and did a 360 degree career change to get a job with better hours with a bit of a pay cut. His ex is trying everything to stop him from seeing kids. Below is the major reason why I am posting this message.

When my son told his ex wife why don’t they go to court mediation to just get everything over with as he now has a job with better hours to see kids his ex made up allegations, her father and mother as well saying that he assaulted 3 of them. It went to court and the 3 people could not get their stories straight. The judge said my sons story seemed more believable but he has no recourse to get any money back as the judge don’t know 100% what happened just she had not reason to doubt my sons story. My sons ex also said he hit his son but this was proven to be false from the beginning by the police and child welfare. She tried to get me in trouble with the police and courts and was found not to be true on 4 occasions. I am just looking for some help to get myself back on track and maybe help him get some things for the children. Thankfully he now has legal aid for the rest of the family court matters.

Thanks and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Had a Dream, Sister Crushed It

Posted by StillTrying on 2011-08-26 10:58:43

I was just starting a career as a professional writer, until my sister shot down my career... out of plain old jealousy. Never thought I'd experience something like that from family. Using fictional back-talk and torpedoes, my sister set things up so that the family friends who were helping me ended up disliking me. She even once told me she preferred seeing me down and out! Soon after being thrown under the proverbial bus, I was no longer offered writing work, regardless of the fact that I had already proven my talent. Unemployed, I went $35K into debt and had to sell my possessions to move to another city. Four years later, I'm still clawing my way out of the hole with a low-paying crap job, and still trying to cling to a dream of writing for a living again. But I'm not getting any younger, the job will end soon, and the debt is ever present. I need my life to mean something. I want to matter. I wish to get back to where I was just starting out, free of this financial burden. I would be on square one again, of course, thanks to my sister, but at least I will be beyond her influence. Hopefully, and with a little luck, I can carve out a meaningful life. Please help me get there. Please help me recover my dream.

Pregnant and need some help

Posted by pregnantgirl on 2011-08-24 10:58:27

I am a 27 year old girl and am pregnant with my second child. I gave away all my baby stuff years ago. I am down to working part time and struggling to pay my bills.
I could really use a little bit of help. My boyfriend of 9 years recently left me and the government will not help me because i can not get a hold of him to have this proven. I have an outstanding student loan that recently has been causing me problems. I am no longer receiving my income tax or other small government cheques because i can not afford to pay this loan. I owe roughly $5000.00 and if i could pay that off i would start getting my income tax and other monies throughout the year that would help my family out a lot. I also have a baby on the way and am not prepared. I need a crib, stroller, clothes. well everything. if anyone is willing to help even with $10.00-$20.00, anything you can afford, it would be incredibly helpful. I would also be happy to return the favor when i am back on my feet and able to do so.
Thank you for reading my story and thank you in advance to anyone willing to help out.

Asking for Donations for Car Repairs~ Thank You For Your Time

Posted by Sakume on 2011-07-08 23:58:42

I am not a poor person. There are probably many other people on this site who need this money more than I do. I am a student who recently graduated from college and like many others, I am having difficulty finding a good job to support myself. Recently, my car (which has been a godsend), blew a headgasket. I have no other way to get to my job and I'm currently "bumming" rides from a neighbor but I have already asked the repair shop to start the repairs in either case. I am looking at a repair cost of about $2,300 dollars total. I know that you don't know me by looking at this beg, and that you might not be inclined to donate because of this. But if you feel pity for me, even enough to donate one dollar, I'd sure appreciate it. I am indebted to those of you even reading this beg. You've already proven that you care about other's problems. Thank you for your time.
